Abstract

Good laboratory purpose, regularity, sincerity and cooperation. Without proper management, the learning process will not be effective. This study uses the method of evaluation. This research data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis was done descriptively namely: (1) reducing the data, (2) the display of data, (3) draw conclusions. These results indicate the following: (1) planning science laboratories carried out to the maximum (2) The program of work containing the order of the laboratory, the schedule use of laboratory and planning the procurement of equipment and materials lab that needed organizing in the laboratory already exists but not coordinated, because it involves only the principal, head of labs, subject teacher (3) evaluation of the implementation of the laboratory implemented by way of assessment which aims to see the extent of the involvement of students and in conducting keaktifanya during practicum. Based on the exposure of the research results it can be deduced that the science lab in the SMP Negeri 4 Merangin already meet the standards of laboratory management, which can be seen from their laboratory facilities are complete, the state of the rooms were adequate, have a clear organizational structure, the administration is complete. However, laboratory SMAN 4 Merangin still not equipped facilities ie washing drains former practice tools and waste disposal practices.

Abstract

 This research was an experimental research. It was conducted at STKIP YPM Bangko. The design of this research was quasi experimental research. Population of this research was Fourth year students with the total population was 92. The sample was taken by cluster sampling. To collect the data the researcher used reading comprehension tests. The data were analyzed by SPSS 16.0 of t-test. The result finding shows that GRASP technique gave significant effect on students’ reading comprehension than conventional technique. Based on the result finding, it can be concluded that GRASP Technique is effective to improve students’ reading comprehension. This technique could be used in teaching reading comprehension at students English Department of STKIP YPM Bangko.

Abstract

The aim of this research were described and expres of advantages figurative symbol in pepatah-petitih Jambi. This research was used qualitative approach with content analysis method. It was based on the quality of meaning. The data were petatah-petitih Jambi. The result of the research was the benefit of figurative symbol in petatah-petitih Jambi. From the result of the research were found that figurative symbol in petatah-petitih Jambi as methapore such as: 1) The using of animal figurative symbol based on humans proximity. Animal as food sources, economy, activity helping, and menace in human life annalogically. 2) The using of plant figurative symbol based on human need of food, source of income, and as food material, condition of the region Jambi agrarian. 3) The using of human figurative symbol involve phisycal, spiritual experience, activity, and objects around human life. The using of human figuratif symbol: phisycal, soul, activity, life and living. Conclusion of the research is the using of figurative symbol associated with phisycal, activity of animals, plant, dan human based on proximity, condition of the region, culture, the life of allied, help each other, agreement, and community. Keywords: metafora, pepatah-petitih, lambang kias, fungsi kias

Abstract

Lecture planning learning biology more often taught with the methods talk and discussion .And matter is based on learning outcames needs to be done practice after development device learning .By using the method simulation so will be implemented practice of instructing in accordance with a device that is developed .The purpose of this research increase liveliness a student on the lecture planning learning biology uses the method simulation .Methods used is research the act of a class ( ptk by taking advantage 4 ( four ) a stage in ptk including planning , the implementation of the act of , observation , and reflection .The implementation of the an act done as much as two ( two ) cycle, every cycle consisting of 2 ( two meeting .The result of this research in the form of an increase in the results of activity students .From the cycle I obtained the average score each meeting with 71 % , while in cycle II mengalamipeningkatan whose average score 90 %. Can be concluded that there are peningatan liveliness a student on the lecture planning learning biology uses the method simulation .

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang optimal di dalam kelas sangat tergantung pada berbagai aspek diantaranya, upaya sungguh-sungguh yang dilakukan guru, ketersediaan fasilitas sebagai sarana dan prasarana. Hal itu akan menunjang kelangsungan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan. Fenomena rendahnya kualitas tenaga guru dan minimnya sarana atau fasilitas diindikasikan terhadap rendahnya kualitas pembelajaran di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bangko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan besarnya kontribusi profesionalisme dan sarana penunjang terhdap kualitas pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi sebayak 169 orang guru PNS pada 5 SMPN di Kec. Bangko. Sampel diambil secara stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuisioner.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran sebesar 26,5%. Sarana penunjang juga berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran sebesar 5,9%. Dengan demikian, dapat simpulkan bahwa profesionalisme guru dan sarana penunjang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bangko.

Abstract

Leadership is as the main character that will determine the progress and competitive advantage to an organization. Leaders are expected to bring the institution achieve performance exceeding expectations in a sustainable manner. In difficult conditions is very important for a leader to control the organization towards a clear and consistent effectively and simultaneously anticipate and respond to the demands of the future. Leadership role in making a choice of a wide range of alternatives that are considered most appropriate. Therefore, we need effective leader, a leader who is able to use the powers available to him as a good and constructive, leadership capable of formulating clear goals and achievable based on the ability of the existing resources, leaders are able to communicate to its members what he was thinking, leadership wise, where in the face and solve problems always puts the ratio by keeping in mind the taste. He stressed that effective leadership is a strong leader who is fighting for the ideals to be achieved.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan bicara siswa pada pembelajaran teks naratif dalam kelompok yaitu pada tahap Joint Construction of Text. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA IPA Negeri 14 Merangin pada semester I tahun pelajaran 2015 / 2016. Data diambil dari tes kognitif, pengetahuan  siswa secara individual tentang teks naratif, ketrampilan berbicara anak secara individual yang mereka tunjukkan lewat permainan drama, dengan aspek penilaian: kosa kata dan tata bahasa, manajemen wacana, dan ucapan dan intonasi, diadopsi dengan penyesuaian dari makalah Agustin,H ( panduan penilaian kompetensi Bahasa Inggris  : 7-8) Sikap dan pendapat siswa juga diamati melalui kuesioner, pengamatan dan wawancara. Hasil pengamatan dan penilaian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil refleksi siklus I digunakan untuk menyempurnakan siklus II dengan hasil kuesioner respon positif siswa sangat baik terhadap penelitian tinadakan kelas.

Abstract

The successful of an organization can not be separated from the role of manager in it, because the manager is the most responsible individual for implementing the activities of an organization in order to achieve established goals. So that, one of indicators of the successful an organization can be seen from the managerial performance. This study aims to determine the effect of characteristics Budget purpose toward managerial performance with Motivation As an intervening variable. This research was survey research with technique questionnaires  which distributing to the SKPD structural officials that consist of Echelon II, Echelon III, Echelon IV at the Regional Government of Merangin Regency. From 191 of questionnaires distributed, only 122 questionnaires were returned. There are 4 pieces of questionnaire were not completed, there were 118 questionnaires to be calculated in this research. The analysis method was variant-besed SEM using SmartPLS Software Version 2.0. From the results of the hypothesis testing, it show that the motivation able to act as mediating in the relationship budgetary participation and managerial performance,

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan: Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan STKIP YPM Bangko. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian Survey Explanatory Confirmatory. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Karyawan di STKIP YPM Bangko. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Total sampling, maka yang menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang karyawan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi Linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di STKIP YPM Bangko, dengan nilai signifikan 0,021 gaya kepemimpinan di STKIP YPM Bangko sangat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan STKIP YPM Bangko. Dari hasil penelitian diharapkan gaya kepemimpinan di kalangan karyawan STKIP PM Bangko dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dari para karyawan di STKIP YPM Bangko
