Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of economic growth and investment in the labor market in the Tangerang regency in the year 2009-2015.This research is quantitative descriptive research design and associative. The data used are time series data of economic growth, investment and employment in the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) 2009-2015 Tangerang regency. Data collection techniques are documentation in the form of books, journals and reports. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the classic assumption test, simple and multiple correlation, coefficient determination test, regression test and the partial hypothesis test (t test) and simultan hypotheses test (F test) with the help of SPSS software.The analysis showed partial negative effect on economic growth or reverse direction and no significant effect on employment. Simultaneously, economic growth and the positive impact of investment direction and significant increases on employment. Keywords: Economic Growth, Investment, Labor Absorption

Abstract

This research comparation relationship manufacturing flexibility with firm performance between batik industries and furniture industries. The data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire with convinience sampling to 50 batik firms and 50 furniture firms in Solo - Indonesia. Response rate of 98 % for furniture fims and 100% for batik firms. This study applies partial least square to investigate the research model. The results showed that have different between effect of competences of manufacturing flexibility on capabilities of manufacturing flexibility in batik and mebel industries context. Capabilities of manufacturing flexibility measured by volume flexibility and mix flexibility. In batik industry context,  have significant effect of competences of manufacturing flexibility on volume flexibility and mix flexibility. While in furniture industry context, competences of manufacturing flexibility have significant effect on volume flexibility but no significant effect on mix flexibility. Relationship between capabilities of manufacturing flexibility and firm performance, both batik and furniture industries showed no significant relationship. Further research should be conducted on a large sample. Research can be conducted in wider area coverage so that results can be used for generalization. Further study also required added another independent variable to predict firm performance.

Abstract

This research is aims to examine the influences of managerial ownership, investment opportunity set, and financial risk on firm value on The Manufacturing sector Companies in Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) in the period 2008-2010. The populations in this research are listed companies in Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI), which amounts to 220 and sample as many as 45 companies, for 3 years from 2008 s / d 2010. Therefore, the total observation in this research are 135 companies and have been analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis model. The data used are secondary data of the financial statements. Hypothesis testing used F test and t test.The result of the t test indicates, that the managerial ownership variable significantly showed a negative influences on the firm value, these proved that the hypothesis present to be acceptable. For the Investment opportunity set variable reveal slight impacts on the firm value. As of the Financial risk variable ominously occurred positive influences on the firm value in the manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Index Sharia (ISSI) observed in the of period 2008-2010.

Abstract

This research focused on examining the effects of the board the syariah supervisor, the board of directors, the independent board of commissioners and internal ceo power on performance, and the board structure on performance. The results showed that: 1) There is a significant relationship between the syariah supervisory board and the performance, 2) There is a significant relationship between the board of directors and the performance, 3) There is a significant relationship between independent board and performance, 4) There is no significant relationship between Internal CEO and performance, 5) There is a significant relationship between board structure and performance. Keywords: Sharia Supervision, Governance, Performance, Bank Syariah

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of personal interaction quality between employer with their customer, relationship quality between employer with their customer, product and service quality on customer loyalty PT. Asuransi Jasindo Solo Branch Office with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Collecting data using a questionnaire. The population of this study are all customers of PT. Asuransi Jasindo Solo Branch Office using existing in Surakarta. The sampling technique using purposive sampling technique, with a sample of 200 people. Analysis using structural equation model (Structural Equation Modeling / SEM), with the additional of AMOS programme. The results showed: Personal interaction quality has a positive and significant impact on relationship quality with the customer. Relationship quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Relationship quality has a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty. Product quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Service quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Service quality has no effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty PT. Asuransi Jasindo in Solo.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of private demandsto personal Internet use at workplace with four moderating variables and its influence on employee performance.The population in this study were 50 employees at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and 60 employees Perum Perhutani Wilayah Surakarta. Simple random sampling is used to select the sample and the sample obtained 107 employees. This study uses Moderated Regression Analysis and Simple Regression Analysis.The results showed that the private demands affect the use of personal Internet at workplace and influence at the workplace also successfully predicted as a moderating variable in the relationship. In addition it was also found that the use of personal Internet at workplace affect employee performance. But for the other results, border strength, identification with and perceive the job of supervisor support for border crossing failure predicted as a moderating variable on the relationship of private demands on the use of personal Internet at workplace.

Abstract

This present paper explores the islamic banks in Indonesia. More detail, This study describe the determinant of islamic banks profitability on the view of financial ratios. Employing a multiple linear of regression, the result reveal that the profitability of islamic banking proxied by return on assets (ROA) is determined by the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) which represents the availability of cash capital (current) to guarantee the return on financing, and Non Performing Financing (NPF) which represents the level of financing risk. Meanwhile, The third-party funds proxied by Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) has not been proven to determine the profitability of islamic banks in Indonesia. In the end, this study concluded that the availability of cash capital (current) to guarantee the return of financing, and the level of financing risk is a determinant of the profitability of islamic banks in Indonesia. Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of attitude toward knowledge sharing, subjective norms regarding knowledge sharing, perceived behavior control on the intention to share knowledge and influence the intention to share knowledge, individual factors (enjoyment in helping others and knowledge self-efficacy), organizational factors (top management support and organizational reward) and the use of information and communication technologies in the knowledge sharing behavior and whether more leads to the company's innovation capabilities. The object of this study is PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesi (Persero) Tbk. Kantor Branch Sragen dan Bank Jateng Cabang Sragen. Research problem refers to the phenomenon of data on the two banks, which demonstrated the difficulty of applying the knowledge sharing behavior among peers. The problems that arise are: how to improve knowledge sharing behavior and whether to allow companies to improve innovation ability. A modeling has been built and eight research hypotheses have been formulated.Sample using convenience sampling method. The study used 257 respondents and all respondents are employees of BRI Branch Sragen and Bank Jateng Sragen. Data analysis using Structural Equation Models with computer programs Amos 6. The results of this study indicate that such Attitude toward knowledge sharing subjective norms regarding knowledge sharing, perceived behavior control positive influence on intention to share knowledge. intention to share knowledge, individual factors (enjoyment in helping others), and organizational factors (top management support and organizational reward) the behavior of knowledge sharing (Knowledge Donating and Knowledge Collecting). Knowledge Donating and Knowledge Collecting positive effect on the firms innovation capabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study serve to identify the influence analysis emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on performance employees (study at the PT. Bank Negara Indonesia, (Persero), Tbk Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta and Surakarta Operation). This study is a descriptive empirical study with a quantitative approach. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. The population in this study is the teller PT. Bank Negara Indonesia, (Persero), Tbk Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta and Surakarta operation number (n) 146 with  sensus technique. Instrument research using emotional intelligence questionnaires (EQ), spiritual intelligence questionnaires (SQ), and performane questionnaires. Data analysis includes validity test, reliability test, the classical assumption test, and test hypotheses with linear regression as a tool of analysis using SPSS 17 for windows. Based on the discussion of the results of this study be concluded that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence affect the performance of the employees of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia, (Persero), Tbk Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta and Surakarta operation.
