Abstract

The research is based on the law of mathematical disposition and the less of the students’sactivation in learning process. The research objective is to know the improvement of mathematicaldisposition which the learning process used is ASSURE learning model with conventional learning.The research is Quasi Experimental research.The research design is used Nonequivalent ControlGroup Design and sample collection technique is Sampling Purposive .The population in theresearch is the students of class 8th SMPN 1 Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon, academic year2017/2018. The sample of the research is the 8th qraders 36 th student class 8th D is classeseksperimental and 38 th student class 8th F is classes control. Based on the result of the difference ofthe average of post-test using the test of Independent Sample T-Test equals sig (2 tailed) score0,000 < 0,05 means H0 rejected. And then the difference of the average using of N-gain using thetest of Independent Sample t-test equals sig score (1 tiled) 0,0005 < 0,05 means H0 rejected. On theother hard, based on the result of questionnaire using the test of Mann Whitney U-Test egualsAsymp. Sig(2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,5 means H0 rejected. The research result shows that: Theimprovement of mathematical disposition which is using ASSURE learning model is better thanthe students who are learning by conventional learning process.Key Words: ASSURE, Mathematical Disposition.

Abstract

The background of this study low quality of students' mathematics learning outcomes, such as low learning achievement, passive student learning activities, the use of props and less innovative instructional media, and the selection of instructional models that teachers are less innovative. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability of students' mathematical understanding, knowing the increased interest and motivation to learn mathematics, and determine the increase mathematics learning activities congruency and symmetry concepts with the application of Cooperative Learning Jigsaw, as well as determine the increase the ability of teachers in teaching and learning mathematics. Place of research at SDN 1 Panonganlor Cirebon by the number of students 30 people in the 1st half of the school year 2016/2017. Mathematics courses with competence congruency and symmetry. Acting as a colleague a sixth grade teacher in the same school with the author, students who studied his ability is very heterogeneous. PTK consists of three cycles, with each cycle includes the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The research instrument is an evaluation test sheet mathematics student learning ability, interest and motivation observation sheet student learning and student activity observation sheet and the sheet observation ability of teachers in the learning process. Technical analysis of the data using interactive analysis, consisted of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Results of the study are: 1). An increase in the ability of the students' understanding of mathematics learning in the first cycle = 70.87 (66.67%) and the second cycle = 82.2 (100%), the average increase in value of 11.33 (33.33%), 2) enhancing students' interest and motivation cycle I = 65.6% and cycle II = 89.6% increase (24%). 3) improvement of student learning activities = 72.57% the first cycle and the second cycle = 92% (increase = 19.43%), 4). increased capacity in the management of the learning process cycle I = 70% and the second cycle of 90% (up 20%). Abstract

This backgound of the researchis because the low of student’s intellectual mathematicsability. The purpose is for knowing the difference result from increasing student’sintellectual mathematics abilty between student’s learning process by using media of statisticboard and student’s learning process by conventional way (it is used by teachers at school inlearning process). The research is the research of kuasi experiment. The design usesNonequivalent Control Grouph Design. In this research, the population is taken from theninth grade student’s SMPN 13 Cirebon. The technique of taking research sample ispurposive sampling. The sample is ninth grade, 38 students of 9.A that will be used asexperiment class, and 35 students of 9.E as control class. Based on the data of NormalityShapiro – Wilk result test pretest, pos-test and N_Gain in this result are normalitydistribution, and the result of Homogenity Levene’s test, pretest mark, post-test and N_Gainhomogen variety. After data is known normal varienty and homogen, so the next test is thedifference of post test on the average and it uses Inddependent sample t – test. The result ofthis Independent samples t – test has point of (1 – tailed) 0,001<0,05 it means H0 refused.And next the diffence on average test N_Gain and Independent sample t – test is got pointsig (1 – tailed) 0,0015 < 0,05, it is H0 refused. Mean while, based on the result of student’sobservation paper recapitulation get average score 43,43 from scala of 36 very goodcategory.Key Words: Media of statistic board (PANTIK) and mathematic Intellectual

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dankesadaran diri siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika yang baru,pengunaan model Problem Based Learning dianggap cocok untuk meningkatkankemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan kesadaran diri siswa karena pada tahapanmenyelesaikan masalah siswa dituntut untuk mengeluarkan ide-ide yang baru dan siswadibebaskan untuk mencari sumber materinya sendiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiankuasi eksperimen yang dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2017/2018, padatanggal 31 Juli – 31 Agustus 2017 di SMP Islamiyah Weru yang beralamat di Desa WeruLor Kecamatan Weru Kabupaten Cirebon, dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIsemester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Terdapat dua kelas yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol,dalam pelaksanaannya kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem BasedLearning dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model konvensional. Penelitian ini menghasilkanuji perbedaan nilai N-Gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis diperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan adanya perbedaanpeningkatan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol, dari hasil thitung sebesar 6,134dapat dikatakan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yangmenggunakan model Problem Based Learning lebih baik dibanding dengan yangmenggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dan hasil uji perbedaan nilai N-Gainkesadaran diri diperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Sehingga dapatdisimpulkan adanya perbedaan peningkatan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol,dari hasil thitung sebesar 7,330 dapat dikatakan bahwa peningkatan kesadaran diri siswa yangmenggunakan model Problem Based Learning lebih baik dibanding dengan yangmenggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: Berpikir kreatif matematis, Kesadaran diri, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between Macromedia Flash Software version 8.0 the ability of understanding mathematical concepts. This study is based on the performance of most of the students of SMAN 1 Pasawahan still lack understanding a concept when dealing with mathematical problems in learning in class. So when learning takes place and when faced with the issue of disadvantaged students to understand the concept and unable to resolve a given problem. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The study design used NonequivalentControl Group Design with correlation techniques. This method is used to see how strong and how much influence the Macromedia Flash software version 8.0 the ability of understanding of the concept. The population in this study were all students of SMAN 1 Pasawahan the academic year 2017/2018, the study sample was taken bysampling purposive of 56 students. The instrument used in this study is in the form of test descriptions understanding of the concept and scale of Macromedia Flashsoftware version 8.0. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between Macromedia Flash software version 8.0 with the capability of understanding the concept. That is, the Macromedia Flash software 8.0 version ofcan be used to improve understanding of the concept. As well as Macromedia Flashsoftware version 8.0 has contributed 23.5% to the ability of understanding the concept, the rest of 76.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Contributions, Macromedia Flash Version 8.0 and Capabilities ConceptTraining

Abstract

This research is motivated by the poor ability of creative thinking mathematically, still infrequent use of the learning model and the lack of involvement of the student in the learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase mathematical thinking ability of students whose learning model Problem Posing with conventional learning. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The study design used Nonequivalent Control Group Design and its population is a class VII student of Al-Falah Depok Cirebon in academic year 2016/2017. Sample collection technique is purposive sampling, sample involving students of class VII, that 34 students of class VII A as an experimental class and class VII B of the 36 students as the control class. The results showed that: (1) There are differences in creative thinking ability of students learning mathematical model Problem Posing with students whose learning conventionally. (2) Enhancement of creative thinking ability of students learning mathematical model posing problem better than the increase creative thinking ability of students learning mathematical conventionally. Abstract

The sample of the research is the 7th qraders 31 th student class 7th A is classes eksperimental and 29 th student class 7th B is classes control. Based on the result of the difference of the average of post-test using the test of Independent Sample T-Test equals sig (1 tailed) score 0,001 < 0,05 means H0 ejected show the mathematics concepts understanding skill which is using kumon method is better than the students who are learning by conventional learning process. And then the difference of the average using of N-gain using the test of Independent Sample t-test equals sig score (1 tiled) 0,0005 < 0,05 means H0 ejected show the improvement of mathematics concept understanding skill which is using kumon method is better than the students who are learning by conventional learning process.

Abstract

The research objective is to know theimprovement of ccomunication mathematical and mathematical disposition which the learningprocess used is Reciprocal Teaching learning model with conventional learning. The research isQuasi Experimental research.The research design is used Nonequivalent Control Group Design andsample collection technique is Sampling Purposive .The population in the research is the students ofclass XIth MAN I Kota Cirebon, academic year 2017/2018. The sample of the research is the XIthqraders 39 th student class XIth A is classes eksperimental and 39 th student class XIth B is classescontrol. Based on the result of the difference of the average of post-test using the test ofIndependent Sample T-Test equals sig (2 tailed) score 0,000 < 0,05 means H0 rejected. And then thedifference of the average using of N-gain using the test of Independent Sample t-test equals sigscore (1 tiled) 0,0005 < 0,05 means H0 rejected. On the other hard, based on the result ofquestionnaire using the test of Mann Whitney U-Test eguals Asymp. Sig(2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,5means H0 rejected. The research result shows that: (1) Comunication mathematical which is usingReciprocal Teaching learning model is better than the students who are learning by conventionallearning process. Abstract

Some life skill mathematics, which are needed by the students in this 21 stcentury in order to support their life, are creativity and innovation, critical thinking andproblem solving, communication, and collaboration. Critical thinking skill is needed inthis modern era, yet some studies show that seventh grade student’s critical and creativethinking skills are not satisfying yet. The research objectives to be achieved describe thedifference increase of critical thinking skill between student who got realisticmathematics education and scientific approach. The research method was quasiexperimental research with pretest-posttest two treatment designs. The population of thisresearch was the seventh grade students in one of junior high school in West Bandung.The samples of this research are two classes that choosen based on mathematicsteacher’s advice. Research instruments include tests of critical thinking skill andobservation. The result showed there was difference increase of critical thinking skillbetween student who got realistic mathematics education and scientific approach,students who got realistic mathematics education has better increase of critical thinkingskill than students who got scientific approach.Key word: critical thinking skills, realistic mathematics education, scientific approach.

Abstract

The Influence of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Probing-Prompting (PP) Learning Models on Students' Critical Thinking Ability Judging from SelfConfidence. Mathematics Education Study Program, Postgraduate Program at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. 2019. The purpose of this study was to describe influence of Problem-Based Learning and Probing-Prompting Learning Models on Students' Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability in the light of SelfConfidence. The low ability of students to think critically mathematically so that it is necessary to apply a learning model that trains students' thinking skills while fostering student confidence. The method used in this study is a quasiexperimental method that uses a 2x2 treatment by level design. Consideration of the use of this design is to see the answers to the research questions from two different treatments, namely: treatment of the learning model (A), and treatment of self-confidence (B) in the four treatment groups. The results revealed that students' mathematical critical thinking skills taught by PBL learning models were better than students taught with PP learning models had significant differences; Mathematical critical thinking ability of students who have high self-confidence is higher than students who have low self-confidence. The results of the study revealed that (1) There were differences in critical thinking skills between students learning using the problem-based learning (PBL) model and students learning to use probing-prompting (PP); (2) There are differences in critical thinking skills between students who have high self-confidence and students who learn to use students who have low self-confidence; (3) There is an interaction effect between the application of learning models and self confidence in students' critical thinking abilities; (4) There are differences in critical thinking skills between students who learn using the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model and high self-confidence (self confidence); and students who learn using probing-prompting (PP) learning models and high self confidence; (5) There are differences in critical thinking skills between students who learn using the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model and low self confidence; and students who study using probing-prompting (PP) learning models and low self confidence.Keywords: Problem-Based Learning, Probing-Prompting, Self-Confidence,Critical Thinking
