Abstract

Gayo coffee scattered in the mountains and being in two districts of the central highlands and Central Aceh district has become the center of world attention. Gayo Arabica coffee has a unique manifold and the added value created by the mountainous nature Gayo. This factor makes Gayo Arabica coffee has the added value that is not replaceable by other similar commodities. The success of the stakeholders Gayo coffee obtain certification which is organic, fairtrade, coffee practice and Geographic indication that can be a proof of the worldwide recognition of the quality and added value of this coffee. The average price of the last on the coffee harvest season in March 2012 ranged between Rp 100.000,- until Rp 110.000,- in each Kg grean bean on exporter level. Determination of clusters of farmers the right so that the quality and price of supplies could be predicted well by the cooperative as exporters are very important. These routes and ketelusuran origin coffee blend in one location with other location mebuat coffee quality decreases. Mapping the supply of unclear origin uniformity of the quality of the coffee making is difficult to determine. This effect on selling prices decreased overall coffee farmers to the detriment of farmers with good quality coffee. The good name of the cooperative from the viewpoint of importers deteriorate as evidenced by a decrease in the purchase price of the importer in the contract.The sampling process quality coffee supply also becomes difficult because unhomogenity supply region. Supply region is crucial to the quality of the coffee due influenced the position and height of the land. Thus, this research is expected to help formulate clusters of farmers so that the quality and price of coffee could be improved both in terms of farmers and exporters. Abstract

result of viability of papaya seed (carica papaya L.) The experimental design used in this study is a complete randomized design (RAL) 4 x 2 factorial pattern with 3 replications consisting of two factors, with There were 8 treatment combinations and 24 experimental units. The materials used in this research are papaya seed, cotton cloth, ash, concentrated H2SO4, and sand. The parameters observed were potential to grow, germination, growth rate and time required 50% from total germination (T50). The results of this study indicate that the average value of viability and vigor is high in the show on the optimization of the way of extraction of cotton cloth (K1). Viability and vigor of sprouts which are better found in local varieties (V1) than with hybrid varieties (V2). Better interaction optimizing the way extraction of sarcotae is found in hybrid varieties (V2) seeds by extraction of cotton cloth (K1). So it can be concluded that the optimization of sarkotesta extraction method is very significant effect on seed viability include growth potential, germination, growth rate and T50% sprout total.Keywords: Sarkotesta extraction, viability, papaya seed (Carica papaya L.).

Abstract

CV. Rapi Kana is a furniture company in Ule Reuleng North Aceh, the company produces cabinets, study chairs, tables, study tables and more. The chair and lecture desk is one of the most closely related factors in improving the quality of student learning. Discomfort in learning to make students less focused and tend to get tired quickly in doing tasks and lecture activities. The main cause lies on the desk used. The lesson used is less suitable for the student body size. Dissociation between study desk and student body size is one of the obstacles in the effort to improve the quality human resources. The impact of desks that arenot in accordance with body size can lead to many students experiencing fatigue. Nonconformity of the desk leads to feelings of discomfort (restlessness), lack of concentration, drowsiness, and so forth. In this case will be done research related to the design of the mini desk, where the study table produced by the company will be analyzed its shortcomings and advantages, followed by redesign for the desk. The design is adapted to the posture of the human body. The method used to start with the determination of product characteristics with Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method and also from the calculation of antropometry data so that the result of mini table design in accordance with consumer desire that is comfortable, effective and efficient.Keywords: Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, Anthropomentry, Mini tabledesign

Abstract

As the ever-increasing water demand, especially consumption, has prompted the emergence of a variety of drinking water business, both of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) as well as drinking water refill. Each of drinking water produced, must meet the quality requirements set by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Among these are the quality requirements of drinking water must be free of bacteria or germs. E-coli bacteria in the body can cause intestinal fever or dysentery. If late untreated can result in death due to loss of body fluids.The main purpose of this study was to determine that the Bottled Water production South West coast of Aceh free from the content of the e-coli bacteria according to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492 / Menkes / PER / IV / 2010. It can be concluded Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) is safe or not for public consumption.To carry out this study, researchers using descriptive method is based on laboratory test results. The technique of sampling was done by purposive sampling, where each brand is taken three (3) samples of drinking water in the glass packaging 220-230 ml of markets / locations. Observation, researchers found seven brands of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water). Tests conducted repetition 2 times. So the total number is 42 samples tested.The results showed that of the 42 samples test negative results the content of the e-coli bacteria. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the seven brands of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) production area of the West Coast of South Aceh is safe for public consumption because it is free of the content of the e-coli bacteria.Kewords : bakteri e-coli, bottled water, water production, healthy

Abstract

The content of chloride in drinking water, including the Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) must correspond Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number 492/Menkes/PER/ IV/2010, which should not exceed 250 mg/l. Excess chloride load in the body are harmful to health. Therefore, the testing of any content of chloride in drinking water should always be done properly and responsibly.Based on the Decree No. 492 of 2010, researchers wanted to determine the content of chloride from 7 (seven) brands of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) local production region south west coast of Aceh province. The results of the study illustrate that the chloride load on Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) that exceed 250 mg / l or not, so that eventually we can conclude the seven brands of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) is feasible or not feasible consumed by the public.To execute this research, researchers using the descriptive method is based on laboratory test results. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, where each brand is taken three (3) samples of drinking water in glass packaging 220-230 ml from markets / locations. The results of observations, researchers found seven brands of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water). Tests conducted repetition 2 times. So the total number is 42 samples tested.The results showed that from 42 samples against the chloride load test results may vary from 11.3032 to 25.4322 mg / l. The content is still very low compared with drinking water quality standard specified in Permenkes 492 in 2010, which does not exceed 250 mg / l. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the seven brands of Bottled Drinking Water (bottled water) production region of the South West Coast of Aceh is safe for public consumption because the content is still very low khlordanya from quality standards established Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.Keywords: chloride, bottled water

Abstract

The work environment is an important part of the company, because the work environment has a direct impact on work productivity of employees. Appropriate environment can give the impression of comfort and serves as a means to be aware of the effectiveness and efficiency of work whereas good working environment can result in health problems and accidents at production units which in turn would lower the overall productivity of the company. Objective is to determine how much influence the work environment, especially exposure to heat due to the temperature of the stove is too high on employee productivity in making karah cakes and determine what factors are likely to influence the work environment on employee productivity in the manufacture of karah baking. Stages of research from the discovery of symptoms, to formulate the problem, to know the powerful factor influencing the occurrence of the problem. This research was conducted by taking samples at UMKM karah cakes maker with variable gauge how the work environment influence on the productivity of UMKM karah cakes maker.Keyword: Productivity, Work Environment, UMKM.

Abstract

Quality is a common cause is natural to unite the functions of the business. One of the tools for quality improvement is Poka Yoke method. Poka Yoke is a technique to overcome and avoid simple mistakes that caused by humans or workers at the workplace. PT. Ima Montaz Sejahtera is one of the companies engaged in the production of bottled water (bottled water). Bottling line is a unit of production machinery which produces aqua medium 550 ml and large 1,500 ml consisting of three (3) main unit that is a bottle washing station, a water filling and a closure cap (capper). The problem that arises is the frequent occurrence of broken bottles and cups during the production of this may raise the cost of loss (loss cost) so as to reduce the profitability of the company. Based on these descriptions, it is necessary to observations oriented analysis (lost cost) in 550 ml of medium aqua products. Completion method to be used is the method of poka yoke. The results showed that the total lost cost products aqua medium 550 ml (September to August 2016) was 247,052,000, - where reject that occurred during the production process takes place is in the bottle and cap the cost of a bottle / unit amounted to Rp 1,200 and cap / unit Rp 80.The cost of damages from defective products is Rp 42,330,000, - with the cost of damages from defective cup is Rp 3,757,920, - bringing the total loss of Rp 46,087,920, -. In addition, the problem often occurs in capper unit wherein the corrective actions taken by the operator resulting in productivity stalled, problems that often occur is head capper unstable. The analysis showed that the largest percentage of the causes of errors often occur on the head capper unstable, operator of the less scrupulous and not focused when the production takes place, method of adjustment the capper unit that is not accurate and does not exactly head and chief bottle when fitting lid and the Inverter on a different machine.Keywords: Quality, Poka Yoke, Bottled water

Abstract

Egg shell is one of the livestock waste that becomes a problem for the community and foodstuff processing industry made from egg raw. With the massive amount of community consumption, of course, the amount of waste of eggshells will also accumulate and is usually thrown away. So waste eggshell is considered as waste that will be thrown away. Egg shell can be given as animal feed ingredients because it is notdangerous and in egg shells there are still many substances, as well as minerals that are needed by the body of poultry. This study aims to increase the production of chicken breeders through the best alternative feed selection. Making poultry chicken feed through the utilization of eggshell waste with various alternative raw material selection. Determination of the best type of egg shell waste based on nutritional value and quantity of livestock chicken production. Abstract

This Research aimed to identify, determine and formulate the mitigation strategies of shallot supply chain risk using Fuzzy FMEA and AHP. Risk identification was performed on shallot supply chain actors include farmers (suppliers), tengkulak (distributors) and pengecer (retailers). Fuzzy FMEA was used as a tool to measure the risks identified priorities. AHP was used as a tool for determining the weighting strategies in supply chain risk mitigation strategies. Research showed that there were some risks identified on the perpetrators of the supply chain in terms of supply and demand. Risk priorities for supply chain farmers (suppliers) were risks associated with government policies that were policies related to shallot imports, the risk priority of middlemen (distributors) supply chain was risks associated with shallot imports competition, and the risk priority of retailers supply chain was a risk for competitor with other retailers. There were six alternative mitigation strategies, and the highest priority was choosing the right varieties, followed by a partnership, improve the promotion, maintain quality, maintain price stability, and maintain supplies.Keywords: AHP, Fuzzy FMEA, Risk Management, Shallot.
