Abstract

Moringa leaf processing has not been widely carried out in Indonesia. This is due to the lack of public knowledge in utilizing Moringa leaves and the community does not know Moringa leaves as a source of food. Moringa leaves are a natural ingredient with a high nutritional content is also an option to provide additional food for toddlers. This service activity is carried out to increase public knowledge about the importance of nutritious food for children and provide training on making naget from Moringa leaves as an additional food for toddlers. This method of activity is through counseling and training in making Moringa nuggets. This community service provides a change in perspective and increases mothers' knowledge in making supplementary food for toddlers sourced from local food. One of this series of devotions is to train mothers to make breast milk complementary foods and healthy snacks easily and simply but with high nutritional value and hygienic. This service activity has a positive impact on the community, where mothers can do it independently at home about how to make complementary foods and healthy snacks for their children.

Abstract

ODGJ becomes difficult in the healing process caused by the high community stigma including the adolescents group. Even so, youth is one of the golden periods where information becomes important and easy to apply if education is provided, especially regarding the stigma of ODGJ. Based on this, there is a need for promotive efforts to increase youth knowledge about ODGJ and Stigma, so that it can reduce stigma, discrimination, violation of human rights in ODGJ. The purpose of carrying out this activity is to increase youth's knowledge regarding ODGJ and Stigma. This activity was held on March 2023 at SMPN 5 Pontianak City. The method used is in the form of counseling followed by educational videos and distribution of ODGJ stigma pocket books. The form of evaluation used is using knowledge instruments before and after education. Community service activities report an increase in youth's knowledge of ODGJ and stigma. The results of the analysis found that there was a significant impact on ODGJ education and stigma on increasing knowledge p-value = 0.011. It is hoped that with this increased knowledge, youth can provide information again and change wrong perceptions about ODGJ.

Abstract

Cases of verbal and non-verbal bullying often occur around us, whether we realize it or not. This bullying has a negative impact on victims, so it is important to make efforts to prevent and stop cases of bullying. One way to handle cases of bullying is to provide psychoeducation to children about the negative effects that can arise from cases of bullying. For the reason this research was conducted in the form of psychoeducation for dhuafa orphans under the guidance of the At-Taufiq Guntur Mosque, South Jakarta by using the role-playing method which was carried out face to face. Through formative evaluations and observations made after the activity, it was concluded that the role-playing psychoeducational activities carried out proved successful in achieving the goals that had been designed, namely students gain an understanding of bullying and have skills on how to deal with bullying.

Abstract

Community service (abdimas) aims to offer alternative options for character education media for elementary school students. The students at SDN 1 Ciheuleut still need alternative character education media. Lecturers from the Faculty of Social and Culture, Pakuan University Bogor, carry out Abdimas activity. The abdimas team provides an alternative: a Wayang Beber Fabel performance. This performance is presented directly in front of students and teachers. Wayang Beber Fabel has a moral message that it wants to convey to every viewer. It can be an example that elementary school students can imitate. The interviews and observations conducted by the Abdimas team show that the Wayang Beber Fabel performance can be a choice for simple and attractive character education. This indicates that alternative education using Wayang Beber Fabel can help teachers improve character education quality. The abdimas activity at SDN 1 Ciheuleut can positively impact the creation of more effective and interesting character education alternatives and improve the quality of character education for elementary school students. Teachers can use or play Wayang Beber Fabel independently for character education after the abdimas activity is completed.

Abstract

The use of Social Media (Medsos) applications and the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has developed and is influential in various fields of human life. The use of computers in the digital era is part of the life of Catholic Youth. The correct use of computers in various OMK activities can increase effectiveness, efficiency and measurability. The existence of the journalistic field can influence the ability and increase the creative power and sensitivity of OMK in filling public spaces. However, various journalistic activities such as reporting and publication carried out by OMK through various means such as social media are often still constrained by aspects of knowledge, attitudes and skills. This causes various OMK activities to not be able to make a positive and real contribution so that journalistic training is needed. The aim of training for OMK is to enrich knowledge, shape attitudes and improve skills for various ICT-based journalistic activities. Journalistic training methods include the first stage: pre-training (questionnaire), the second stage: training implementation (lectures, writing practice, presentations), and the third stage: training evaluation (interviews and questionnaires). The results of journalism training showed good and very good values ​​in the cognitive aspects of 35 people or 71.42%, affective 42 people or 85.71%, and psychomotor 36 people or 73.46% so it is hoped that OMK can improve various journalistic activities by utilizing ICT in the digital era so that it becomes professional.

Abstract

The level of understanding and mastery of the material for each student is different. One of the efforts that parents have made so far is by involving their children in tutoring outside of school. This community service activity is a means of conveying the usefulness of knowledge and the lecturers' sense of concern for the community in the field of education in the form of tutoring assistance outside of school in the Gunung Sari Ilir sub-district, Balikpapan. This service is carried out at Mrs. Ika's Tutoring House. The subjects of the service were children who signed up for tutoring at the tutoring, while the objects interviewed were 5th grade elementary school students with purposive sampling as the sample. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive narrative. The results of this service explain that tutoring has such a big impact on students because through tutoring outside of school they can better understand lessons again. Non-formal education through tutoring is expected to increase students' interest in understanding lessons. Usually, students are invited to learn with different and more attractive methods or ways of teaching by introducing something new in tutoring. Students are not only required to memorize, but must understand and have an interest in the material being studied. So that each student will be more active in thinking and solving problems related to problems in school.

Abstract

PT TIJ is a company that produces the local brand "LC," which is located in Depok, West Java. According to data for June-August 2022, there are significant product returns of around 1-7%, and a repair process is needed during production. Quality control at PT TIJ is carried out by checking goods one by one by supervisors and production operators. Recording quality problems is only done by labeling the products that need repair. The Quality Assurance (QA) department only records the number of products that need repair. Documentation of specific defects that often occur has never been done. Documentation is one of the essential things for quality control because quality data plays a significant role in making process improvement decisions. This PkM program is carried out by providing training materials for implementing an integrated system of sustainable quality management and the importance of quality data providing information related to problems in the production process. The conducted training increased the participants' knowledge regarding management and quality data. The usefulness of the training was confirmed directly to the participants through a questionnaire. The results showed that 77% of participants strongly agreed that the material was helpful, and 73% strongly agreed that the presenter delivered the quality management material well. Participants also provided suggestions regarding material for further assistance related to using a computer to use quality data analysis tools.

Abstract

Balikpapan is a city with an average high rainfall of 259.229mm/year. The high rainfall, geological conditions, topographical conditions and land use are several factors that cause frequent flooding in this city. The problem of flooding in Balikpapan city is a strategic issue in the RPJPD of Balikpapan City 2005-2025. Sungai Nangka Village, South Balikpapan, especially in RT 45 is a flood-prone area where every rain with high intensity coupled with rising sea water entering this area makes this area often flooded. This community service aims to help RT 45 residents Kelurahan Sungai Nangka to carry out flood mitigation in an effort to reduce the greater impact of frequent flood disasters so that environmental quality improves. This community service method is to install a Flood Early Warning System (Flews) at RT 45 Nangka River, South Balikpapan. This system uses sensor and IoT technology. Through the Flews tool that has been installed on the RT 45, it is hoped that early warning of potential flooding will be received by local residents and related agencies through applications on smartphones in real time so that floods and their impacts can be earlier and can be anticipated thereby reducing the wider negative impacts for local residents, both material and nonmaterial impacts.

Abstract

Digital literacy is one of the most needed 21st century skills. The effectiveness of integrating the use of technology in project-based learning has proven to be effective in increasing digital literacy skills. Toy App is an Android-based application designed as a medium for learning basic literacy and numeracy. The purpose of this community service activity is to implement the Toy App application and project-based teaching modules to increase digital literacy in students. This activity was carried out for students at SD Negeri 1 Padenganploso, Pucuk District, Lamongan Regency. The results of this activity show that the implementation of the Toy App and project-based teaching modules has a positive impact on increasing digital literacy in students. In addition, the learning process is also more fun. Based on these results, the application of the Toy App application and project-based teaching modules can be used as an alternative in supporting digital literacy in elementary school students.

Abstract

Pancasila is one of the foundations of social life to build humane citizens. The inculcation of Pancasila values ​​needs to be done from an early age so that when he becomes an adult, the national character is attached to him. Socializing the practice of Pancasila to elementary school students is a way that can be taken to instill Pancasila values ​​as the basis of the state. Students as agents of change, guardians of values, successors of the nation, moral strength, and social control need to contribute to the inculcation of Pancasila in students. The purpose of this activity is that students provide an understanding of Pancasila as well as education on the practice of Pancasila in everyday life to students. This activity was carried out by 7 students of the Mathematics Education study program with their respective division of tasks. The target of this activity is the fourth grade elementary school students. Data is collected through observation when students carry out activities in class. The result of this activity is that students listen well to the presentation of the material because they are interested in information on the form of Pancasila practice. In addition, students are enthusiastic about participating in activities because external parties or students deliver the material.
