Abstract

Abstract : Organizational commitment is one of the important thing to be considered by the company to observe the extent to which employees are responsible toward their responsibility merupakan suatu hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan suatu perusahaan untuk melihat sejauh mana karyawan tersebut lebih bertanggungjawab terhadap kewajibannya. PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Medan engage in port services which has good performance. However, on March-August 2015 the employees performance of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Medan showed declining trend. This declining in performance are assumed to be influenced by several factors such as work stress and organizational commitment. This study aims to analyse the influence of work stress toward organizational commitment at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Medan. The problem identification of this study is how to increase the organizational commitment by considering work stress inside the company. The theory used in this study is human resources management related to work stress and organizational commitment. The method used in this study is survey method, this is descriptive quantitative study ant the nature of this study is explanatory research. The number of samples used in this study are 72 people. The samples are drawn by using non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. Data analysis method used is simple multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The result shows that partially wotk stress conflict has negative and significant influence toward organizational commitment. Key words: Stres  kerja dan Komitmen organisasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of classroom management in teaching learning process at Universitas of Teuku Umar Meulaboh Aceh Barat. The population of this sutdy was all students who have already taken English class either in the odd or in the even semester. Only was 10 % of the students obtained from Economics, Engineering, Agricultural, Social and Political Science, Fisheries and Marine Science, and Public Health Faculty randomly as the representative of the population. The instrument used to collect the data of this quantitative study was questionaire consisting of 10 closed questions. The data then was analyzed by using percentage with univariat method. The result shows that classroom management used by English lecturer at Universitas of Teuku Umar was very good averagely except about reward and social interaction among students. In detail, only 40% students agreed that the lecturer give them some reward and only 53,2% students agreed that they learned English language with their friends.  Keyword: Classroom Management, English, Teaching Learning Process.

Abstract

AbstractUnderstanding sources of sustained competitive advantage has become a major area of research in strategic management. Building on the assumptions that strategic resources are heterogeneously distributed across firms and that these differences are stable over time, this article examines the link between firm resources and sustained competitive advantage. Four empirical indicator of the potential of firm resources to generate sustained competitive advantage- value, rareness, imitability, and substitutability- are discussed.Keywords: resources based view, kompetensi, sumberdaya

Abstract

Abstract Persaingan pasar tenaga kerja di Asean Economic Society akan ditentukan oleh produktivitas tenaga kerja. Usaha kecil makanan dan minuman merupakan sub sektor tertinggi yang merekrut tenaga kerja di Aceh. Pada 2010 ada 929.910 usaha kecil yang mampu merekrut 2.152.981 tenaga kerja atau sekitar 31,99%. Ada tiga variabel yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja, upah, produktivitas tenaga kerja dan modal. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik regresi berganda untuk menganalisis data.  Analisis  teknik  digunakan  untuk menemukan dampak upah,  produktivitas  dan modal terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja pada usaha kecil dan perusahaan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, keunggulan kompetitif tenaga kerja Indonesia berada pada peringkat keenam sepuluh negara di ASEAN. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa produktivitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sementara modal dan upah tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Aceh. Keyword: Labor Competitiveness, Productivity, Capital, Wages and AEC.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and job security on workmotivation and its impact on the performance of the Contract Employees Civil Service Police Unitand Wilayatul Hisbah Banda Aceh. Data analysis is the process of simplification of data into aform that is easier to read and implement. The method chosen to analyze the data must match thepattern of research and variables to be studied. This study using Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) with a research tool or software such as Partial Least Square (PLS) from the research thathas been done through observation and secondary data it can be concluded that compensation, jobsecurity, work motivation and employee performance contracts Police Unit Praja dan WilayatulHisbah Banda Aceh still not good, then the hypothesis 1 is rejected. From the research that hasbeen done can be concluded that the hypothesis that compensation and job security simultaneouslyand partially effect on work motivation can be received from the research that has been done canbe concluded that hypothesis stating that compensation and job security simultaneously andpartially effect the performance is acceptable. From the research that has been done can beconcluded that the hypothesis that motivation influence on work motivation can be accepted. Theresult of this research of which it can be concluded that the hypothesis of compensation and jobsecurity simultaneously and partially influence performance through work motivation isacceptable.Keywords: Compensation, Job Security, Work Motivation, Performance

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal kerja terhadap perolehan laba bersih,seberapa besar pengaruh dan faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebabnya. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besarpengaruh korelasi regresi terhadap perhitungan X (Modal Kerja) Y (Laba Bersih). Dan menghasilkan r = 0,254berarti bahwa efektivitas penggunaan modal kerja terhadap laba bersih pada koperasi ini memiliki hubungan yanglemah. Maksudnya, penggunaan modal kerja secara efektif hanya memberi sedikit efek pada perolehan laba bersih.Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dilihat juga determinan koefisien kd = r2 x 100% = 6,45% yang berarti bahwalaba bersih mempengaruhi efektifitas penggunaan modal kerja sebesar 6,45% dan sisanya 93,55 %Dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar Studi. Dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, yaitudengan rasio aktivitas analisis deskriptif.Kata Kunci:Efektivitas, Modal Kerja, Sisa Hasil Usaha

Abstract

Abstract : Kepuasan kerja merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan oleh pimpinan untuk meningkatkan kualitas para karyawan, apabila kepuasan kerja terpenuhi maka karyawan akan cenderung memiliki semangat yang tinggi didalam bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work-to-family conflict terhadap kepuasan kerja pada PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) Medan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dengan mempertimbangkan work-to-family conflict di dalam perusahaan. Teori yang digunakan adalah manajemen sumber daya manusia yang berkaitan dengan work-to-family conflict dan kepuasan kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei, jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan sifat penelitian ini adalah ekplanatory research (penjelasan). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 72 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara parsial work-to-family conflict berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kata Kunci: Work-to-family conflict dan Kepuasan kerja

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberdayaan psikologis terhadap motivasi intrinsic dan dampaknya terhadap kreatifitas. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dosen fakultas pertanian universitas syiah kuala yang berjumlah 61 responden. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument penelitian. Tehnik sampel yang digunakan adalah probability sampling. Teknik pengambilan jumlah sampel populasinya menggunakan prosedur acak berstrata. Metode analisis Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel-variabel yang terlibat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pemberdayaan Psikologis  berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas, Pemberdayaan Psikologis  berpengaruh terhadap Motivasi Mntrinsic, Motivasi Intrinsik berpengaruh terhadap Kreativitas dan Motivasi Intrinsik memediasi secara sempurna (full/perfect mediation) pengaruh Pemberdayaan Psikologis  terhadap Kreativitas. Kata kunci: PemberdayaanPsikologis, Motivasi Intrinsik, Kreatifitas

Abstract

This research is designed to anylize the used of women sexuality at tv advertising. It is  a fact that tv ad is one of the effective marketing communication tools to promotes a product and builds corporate image. However there are a lot of misconduct in implementing tv ads to persuade consumers by showing conversations and scenes with a lot of sexual images. Sexual images in the ads are happened in many marketing events and programs. It has been considered as the effective approach to attract consumers attention and the message would be easy to be remembered and internalized in the memory. This phenomena also had happened in Indonesia where tv ads content sexual images which had caused controversy and rejection among the consumers and authorities. There were feminism issues about the women that should not be treated as the sexual object. The sample of tv ads which content sexual images in Indonesia was the ad of Condom Sutra performing four artist playing bilyard. This tv ads had appeared on the national tv channel in 2015 and had a lot of sexual languages, images and the moves that could be considered as pornographic actions. There were several researchs had been conduct on this particular issue but this research presents the analysis through different point of view. Therefore the semiotic analyzing methods introduced by Roland Barthes is applied in this research paper. The observations methods and qualitative research approach are part of the analyzing process to reach the objective and conclude the phenomena.Keywords : condom sutra, tv ads, sexual image.

Abstract

The researcher would like to present a research regarding the analysis of brand equity and marketing mix on customers’ buying decision. Based on this research, researcher try to identify the influence between independent variables (marketing mix and brand equity) to dependent variable (customer buying decision). This research use primary and secondary data by survey method through distributing questionnaire and collected data from journals and books. This research used factor analysis to examined the data validity, and multiple regression model to testing the data using classic assumption test, such as: normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The classic assumption tests indicates that the available data have fulfill the condition to use multiregression model. The result shown that all those independent variables are at the same time (simultaneously) influence the  dependent variable, and each of independent variable also has significance influence towards customer buying decision except place. The most significant influence comes from promotion and brand loyalty. At the end, researcher purpose not only for a better brand equity and marketing mix management, but also in order to setting better strategy for the company Keywords: Brand equity, Marketing mix, Buying decision
