Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of learning motivation on student learning outcome. The research method used explanatory survey. Data collection technique used questionnaire rating scale models. Respondents are 106 students of vocational high school in Bandung. Data were analyzed using regression. The results of the study revealed that learning motivation a positive and significant influence on student learning outcome . Therefore, the student learning outcomes can be improved through improving the student learning motivation.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar  terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model rating scale.  Responden adalah 106 siswa di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan swasta di Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze the influence of professional competence of teachers and powerpoint as a media of learning on the effectiveness of learning. This study employed explanatory survey method. This research also used data collection technique in the form of questionnaire with rating scale model. Respondents of this study include students of a Vocational High School in Bandung. Data analysis technique in this research is regression technique. The results show that the professional competence of teachers and powerpoint as a media of learning have a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of learning, either partially or simultaneously. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan media pembelajaran powerpoint terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan model rating scale. Responden adalah siswa salah satu SMK Swasta di Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru dan media pembelajaran powerpoint memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.

Abstract

Research aimed to analyze influence learning facilities and teaching methods as a factor in affecting student  learning outcomes. The research method used explanatory survey method. Data collection technique used questionnaire rating scale 5 scale models. Respondents are 70 students of vocational high school in Cimahi. Data were analyzed using simple regression. Data analysis techniques use multiple regression and product moment correlation. The result revealed that the learning facilities and teaching methods to learn both partially and simultaneously, has the positive and significant influence toward students learning outcomes.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh fasilitas belajar dan metode mengajar guru sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi  hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala 5 model rating scale.  Responden adalah 70 siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan  regresi ganda dan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan :  bahwa fasilitas belajar dan metode mengajar guru baik secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Teaching and learning model is one of the factors influencing students? learning outputs. This article discusses results of a quasi-experimental study which aims to investigate the influence of Cooperative Learning Model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review Type on learning outputs of 86 vocational high school students, in the subject of Public Relations Administration and Protocol (in the competence of explain Public Relations Professional Organization). Using non-equivalent control group design, results of data analysis show that Cooperative Learning Model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review Type is more suitable to improve students? learning output in the competence of explain Public Relations Professional Organization, compare to Discovery Learning model. Thus, Cooperative Learning Model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review Type is worth using by teachers of the subject to improve the learning outputs of their students in this subject.ABSTRAKModel pembelajaran adalah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review terhadap hasil belajar 86 orang siswa di sebuah SMK di Kota Bandung pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Humas dan Protokol, kompetensi dasar Menguraikan Organisasi Profesi Humas. Dengan menggunakan non-equivalent control group design, hasil analisa data menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review lebih cocok dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mempelajari kompetensi dasar Menguraikan Organisasi Profesi Humas, dibandingkan dengan model Discovery Learning. Dengan demikian model pembelalajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi para guru Mata Pelajaran Adm. Humas dan Protokol dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran tersebut.

Abstract

This paper specifically examines the role of teacher as a facilitator, assumed to be one of the factors influencing the effectiveness of student learning. Data that were collected through survey method using close-ended questionnaires and documents of student learning outcomes of 136 students at one state vocational high school in Bandung as respondents were analyzed with simple regression. The results of data analysis show that the role of teacher as a facilitator had an influence on the effectiveness of student learning. This research is expected to contribute to the field of education research some considerations of the role of teacher as a facilitator as one of the factors influencing the effectiveness of student learning.ABSTRAKTulisan ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang peran guru sebagai fasilitator yang diduga menjadi salah satu variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi sederhana dimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban tertutup dan nilai hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 136 orang siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Kota Bandung sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sebagai fasilitator mempunyai pengaruh terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengkajian pendidikan untuk dapat mempertimbangkan peran guru sebagai fasilitator sebagai salah satu faktor pengaruh efektivitas belajar siswa.

Abstract

The problems studied in this study are the maximum learning outcomes in class X filing subjects at Bandung National Vocational School. This research was conducted to find out how the influence of learning independence on student learning outcomes in class X filing subjects. This study used a survey method. Data was collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. The units analyzed were 67 students of class X majoring in Office Administration at SMK Nasional Bandung. Data analysis techniques use simple regression. The results of the study show that learning independence has an influence on learning outcomes. Therefore, student learning outcomes can be improved through increased learning independence from within students.ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah belum maksimalnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran kearsipan kelas X di SMK Nasional Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kearsipan kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Unit yang dianalisis 67 siswa kelas X jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Nasional Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu, hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan kemandirian belajar dari dalam diri siswa.

Abstract

Learning process at the Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Indonesia is specifically intended to prepare their graduates to have necessary knowledge and skills in certain fields and appropriate attitudes to be ready to work immediately after graduation. This article discusses the results of a study aimed at finding out the extent of contribution of achievements on productive subjects provided during the learning process at Vocational Schools to the work readiness of 12th grade Vocational students in a State Vocational School in one of capital cities in Indonesia. By adopting quantitative research methods, data were collected by collecting 144 students ?learning achievements in all productive subjects they had taken in five semesters of their study, and by distributing a set of questionnaires to find out the students' work readiness. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics analyses. The results of data analyses showed that students? achievements in productive subjects gave positive contribution to students? work readiness. Holistic efforts involving all the elements involved in the learning process in school, which supports the development and mastery of students' knowledge, skills and positive mental attitudes must be carried out comprehensively so that they can achieve maximum achievement and have good work readiness and can work and develop professionally after they have completed their study at Vocational School.ABSTRAKProses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Indonesia secara khusus ditujukan untuk mempersiapkan lulusannya untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada bidang tertentu dan sikap yang berterima agar siap untuk bekerja setelah lulus. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi mata pelajaran produktif yang diberikan selama proses pembelajaran di SMK terhadap kesiapan kerja para siswa SMK kelas 12 di sebuah SMK Negeri di salah satu kota besar di Indonesia. Dengan mengadopsi metode penelitian kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan menganalisa hasil belajar 144 siswa dalam semua mata pelajaran produktif yang dipelajari dalam lima semester, serta dengan menyebarkan angket untuk mengukur kesiapan kerja para siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisa secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa prestasi siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif memberikan kontibusi yang positif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Usaha holistik yang melibatkan semua elemen yang terkait dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah, yang mendukung pengembangan dan penguasaan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap mental positif para siswa harus dilakukan secara komprehensif sehingga mereka dapat mencapai prestasi yang maksimal dan memiliki kesiapan kerja yang matang dan dapat bekerja serta berkembang secara profesional setelah mereka menyelesaikan masa studi nya di SMK.

Abstract

Employees? performance are influenced by many factors, there are competence and work discipline. This article discusses the result of research on the impacts of competence and work discipline on employees? performance in one of Department at Kabupaten Garut. This study used explanatory survey method with questionnaire as the data collection technique. The population of this study consists of 42 respondents who are the secretariat employees?. The result of this study shows that the competence and work discipline has positive effects on employees? performance, both partially and simultaneously. Because of that, employees? performance can be improved by increased the competence and work discipline.ABSTRAKKinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya adalah kompetensi dan disiplin kerja. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh kompetensi dan disiplin kerja pada kinerja pegawai pada salah satu Dinas di Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanasi dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Ukuran populasi sebanyak 42 responden. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai sekretariat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kompetensi dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh karena itu, kinerja pegawai dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan kompetensi dan disiplin kerja.

Abstract

This paper examines specifically about interpersonal communication teacher?s as factors that influence the effectiveness of the powerful alleged learning students. Based on the results of data analysis by using simple regression where data collected through survey method using question form answers to the 51 students in vocational high school in Bandung as the respondent. The results of the analysis of data indicates that interpersonal communications teacher had an impact on the effectiveness of learning of students. The results of this research can provide implications towards the learning process. the results showed teacher?s interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect against the effectiveness of learning of students. Thus the effectiveness of student learning can be enchanced through improved interpersonal communication teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang komunikasi interpersonal guru sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi sederhanadimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 51 siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Bandung sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal guru mempunyai pengaruh terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi interpersonal guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Dengan demikian efektivitas pembelajaran siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal guru.

Abstract

Research aimed to analyze the influence of teacher pedagogic competence and student learning motivation on student learning outcomes. The research method used explanatory survey. Data collection technique used questionnaire likert scale models. Respondents are 64 students of Vocational High School in Bandung. Data were analyzed using multiple regression. The results showed: (1) the teacher pedagogic competence is in good enough category, student's learning motivation and student's learning result are in medium category, (2) pedagogic competence of teacher and student's learning motivation influences student learning result either partially or simultaneously .ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa.  Metode penelitian menggunakan explanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model likert scale. Responden adalah 64 siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kompetensi pedagogik guru berada pada kategori cukup baik, motivasi belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, (2) kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.
