Abstract

The central bank as the monetary authority uses several monetary instruments including the application of interest rates to create monetary stability. Interest has determined every economic activity, such as consumption, savings, investment, employment opportunities, export-import, and others. This study aims to describe the assumptions of how to conduct monetary policy without interest, using qualitative methods through library research. As for the background of this research, there are some fatwa in Muslim countries regarding the prohibition of interest while interest as monetary instruments. This research will contribute to the body of existing literature of Islamic economic development.

Abstract

Leadership is ability, skills, guidance, motivate, supervise to influence the behavior of human as the goal. Although the leadership of principal related to the competency including hard skill or soft skill to give the affect human resources in order to achieve its objective and targets set. The effective school has good management standards, transparent, responsible and accountable, empowers as important component including internal and external factor as achieve the vision – mission – goals of the school effectively and efficiently. The leadership of the principal will give the strong affect to get effectively of school. Because it was related to the figure of principal in order to achieve the vision – mission – goals of the school.

Abstract

This research basically is conducted to improve students’ reading comprehension through KWL (Know, What, to learn) at the eight grade of SMP Islam Al-Asmaniyah. This research had been done at eigth grade of SMP Islam Al-Asmaniyah located Kab. Tangerang, Banten. This research had been taken in semester II. It had done since April 2018 – June 2018 in academic year 2017 – 2018. This research is classroom action research with qualitative approach. As for design classroom action research which is used in this study is to use a model of Kemmis and McTaggart that used 3 cycles where each cycle included planing, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result of reading test in cycle I using KWL got the average score of 71,8 where there are 59 % students that got KKM. In cycle II, the result of reading test using KWL got the average score of 76 where there are 76% students that got KKM. The students were easier to read the text given. Although they still found difficult in understanding the text because of the limitation of their vocabulary. The result of reading test got better in cycle III. The students were more understand in doing their activity in KWL and more active in learning. In this cycle, they got the average score of 83,2 where there are 93% students that got KKM. KWL can be considered as an effective way to improve students’ achievement in reading comprehension.

Abstract

The influence of zakat ensures that economic activities can run at a minimum level, namely at the level of meeting primary needs, where zakat, infaq-shadaqah and other similar instruments encourage aggregate demand, because its function is to help the ummah to reach the standard of living above the minimum level. In Islamic Fiscal Policy C = Co + b Yd, Yd = Y - Zakat + Tr (8 asnaf), IS = C + I + G + (X-M). Infak-shadaqah and similar instruments are through bitul mal used to alleviate poverty through development programs. So zakat and infa-shadaqah have their respective roles. In the condition of the good ummah where the level of faith is at a good level, the state income derived from the infaq-shadaqah should be greater than the receipt of zakat. Guarantee in the mechanism of zakat is a top priority in economic policy (when zakat is not able to fulfill the guarantee function, then state revenues from sources other than zakat will be used until the minimum needs of all people are fulfilled).

Abstract

This paper will discuss Islamic studies on religious life and muamalah activities with regional approaches in Southeast Asia, especially in Muslim minority communities in Myanmar, Thailand and the Philippines. The discussion begins with the understanding of Islamic studies, the background of the spread of Islam in Southeast Asia, and the development of muamalah Muslim minority communities in Southeast Asia, especially in Myanmar, Thailand and the Philippines. Their position as a minority influences the development of religious institutions. In the process of national integration launched by the government, Muslim communities face changes in social and political orientation.

Abstract

The existence of Islamic Principles of Jurisprudences (qawa'id fiqhiyyah) is to provide a more practical guide derived from the original text, namely al-Qur'an and al- Hadith to the community. With this, some theologians (ulama) can prepare life guidelines for Muslims in different spheres from time to time and place to place. As is known, Islam gives its people the opportunity through those who have the authority to carry out ijtihad in various ways guided by the Messenger of Allah, through ijma', qiyas, istihsan, istishab, istislah (masalihul-mursalah) and so on to look for truth that has not been explained in detail in the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Muhammad SAW. Likewise, in economic life, or in the treasury of the works of earlier fuqaha commonly called muamalah, the use of qawa'id fiqhiyyah becomes very important. "All forms of muamalah are basically changed (permissible) unless there is a argument that forbids it". This qaidah is the main qaidah in every halal of all forms of economic and financial transactions unless there is a reason for the sharia prohibition. There are at least five qa'idah-hakyyah known as al-Asasiyyatul-Khamsah which in its application ulama classify qawa'id into six different fields, namely mahdhah (special) worship, ahwal as-Syahshiyyah (personal and family matters), you 'amalah maaliyah (economic transactions), jinayah (criminality), siyasah (politics), and fiqh qadhaya (procedural law and justice). The purpose of this paper is to find out how the implementation or implementation of qawaid fiqhiyyah in the sharia economy and financial industry.

Abstract

The researcher realizes that the story of Bumi Bidadari by Al-Azizy has moral value in that novel. The story told about Fatimah Az-Zahra has unique character. She is introvert woman. She is the main character. This research has religious elements to investigate and description of data in Bumi Bidadari novel. The instrument of collecting data was descriptive method with structural and objectivity of the story. The result has domination with religious element including sharia dimension is 42,5 %, character dimension is 35,0% dimension of faith is 22,5 %. It can be seen the topic of the story has moral value which describe religious value of each person’s likes; Labib as religion teacher, Pras, Hasyim. The story told about sharia, character, faith dimension.

Abstract

Multicultural education emerged as part of the response to the phenomenon of ethnic, social, and cultural conflicts that often emerged in the middle of multicultural faced communities. Multiculturalism is an understanding of the acceptance of pluralism in society so as to avoid horizontal conflict in society. The concept of multicultural education emphasizes the cultivation of a respectful, sincere and tolerant way of life towards the diversity of cultures that live in the midst of a pluralistic society. The goal of multicultural education is to be able to produce generations of people beside being knowledgeable and skilled can also live together in society as khoiru ummah (the best society).
