Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry Cycle 5E berbantuan praktikum terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi konsep redoks. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon, dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pengujian normalitas menggunakan uji chi kuadrat, menunjukkan data kedua kelas berdistribusi normal, dan pengujian homogenitas menggunakan uji kesamaan varian, menunjukkan varian kedua kelas homogen. Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t pooled varian diperoleh thitung = 4.07 > ttabel = 2.00, maka H1 diterima yaitu nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa karena penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry Cycle 5E berbantuan praktikum pada materi konsep redoks

Abstract

This research is limited to the pronlem of the effect of experimental method using the problem based learning model which aims to find out wheather there is an effect of the experimental method using the problem based learning model on the average student learning outcomes on electrolyte and non elsctrolyte solution. This research is the experimental research conducted in X class of MIA MAN 1 Bitung in the academic year 2019/2020, and uses two classes namely class X MIA 1 as an experimental class and class X MIA 2 as an control class. The results of research in the experimental class given the experimental method used the problem based learning model obtained an averaged value of 89,2 while for the control class that was only given the experimental method obtained an averaged value of 50,6. For testing the hypothesis obtained thad H1 is accepted so it can be stated that the average student learning outcomes applied by the experimental method used the problem based learning model are higher than those using only the experimental method

Abstract

This research to see the side-effect of using virtual simulation media PhET (Physics Education Technology) laboratory on student learning towards in molecular geometry at MAN 1 Bitung. PhET is a form of virtual laboratory simulation with observation or experimental activities using software conducted by a computer or mobile phone. This research was a Pretest-Postest Control Group design with a 10th grade Mathematics and Natural Sciences students which is divided two groups they are, the control group and experimental group of 15 students each. The tests carried out to prove the hypothesis were carried out by t-test with the results of ttable = 2.04 and the value of tcount = 2.59. In this case tcount > ttable then, H1 accepted i.e. the average value of the experimental group learning result, morehigher than the control group. The results showed that, the PhET virtual laboratory simulation has a side-effect to students learning results. to measuring how much the side-effect is that, the result of simple with the results of the regression equation is regression had also won three other that is Y=0.6542x 27.26 that indicates who had a positive effect with a correlation as 0.72 correlation in the rate of the strong relationship and value of the coefficient of determination as much as 0,521 or Influental as much as 52,1℅.

Abstract

Of research on application of Case Based Learning Model on Material of Buffer Solution to Student Result of Class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Kawangkoan. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of student learning resultusing conventional case-based learning model on buffer material. The research method used is experimental research method with the research design used is Posttest Only Control Group Design. Data collection technique is posttest. The research population is all students of SMA Negeri 1 Kawangkoan, while the samples taken are two randomly selected classes, that is class XI IPA 4 as experiment class with 25 students and class XI IPA 5 as control class with 25 students. Based on the results of research analyzed by t-test at the real level (α) = 0.05 obtained data that tcount = 2.494 and ttable = 1.677 according to the study criteria, if tcount> ttable then reject H0, so it can be concluded that there are differences in results student learning is taught by case-based learning model with student learning outcomes using conventionallearning method.

Abstract

Misconception is a concept that is not in accordance with the scientific understanding or concepts recognized by experts. Student misconceptions are found while at school when learning in class, from experience, and their observations in society or in everyday life. Students' misconceptions are also obtained through their knowledge at the previous school level. This research aims to analyzing students' misconceptions on basic chemical law material at SMA Negeri 1 Tatapaan. Data collection was in the form of two-tier diagnostic test questions, which were tested on 13 students. The data analysis used in this study is the Rasch model. From the results of the study it was concluded that 62% of students who understood the concept, and 23% of students who experienced misconceptions, while 15% of students who did not understand the concept of basic chemistry law material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student chemistry learning outcomes by applying the peer-led team learning model. This research design uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is divided into two cycles. With four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Tagulandang in class X Science 1, totaling 31 students. This research is only focused on the material of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions. In this study using instruments such as observation sheets, test questions and questionnaires. From the research that has been carried out, it is found that 77.41% of students have successfully met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) which was continued in the second cycle and obtained an average score of 77.58. From the results of student questionnaires and the results of observations given to students through peer-led team learning, students responded well. This shows that the peer-led team learning model has a positive impact on the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Group Investigation learning model on student learning outcomes in understanding chemical bonding material. The research method used is the experimental method. The sample in this study were students of class X IPA 2 as the experimental class and students of class X IPA 4 as the control class. Each sample consists of 24 respondents, and the total number of respondents is 48. The data collection technique is the post-test. The post-test data analysis of the two groups used the t test. The results showed that the value of tcount was 4,399> ttable 1,717, so it could be concluded that there was a variable effect (X / group investigation) on the variable (Y / learning outcomes) so Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Group Investigation learning model on student learning outcomes on chemical bonding material at SMA Negeri 1 Tondano.

Abstract

Guided inquiry learning model is a student centered learning model, namely stundents formulate problems, design experiments, collect and analyze data to make their own decision. In the study the guided inquiry learning model combined with iteractive multimedia, interactive multimedia is a fun and learning medium that supports educational development and plays an important role in chemical learnig activities which are still abstract in nature. This study aims to determine how the cognitive abilities of students after learning with guided inquiry assisted by interactive multimedia at SMA Negeri 1 kakas in the 2019/2020 school year. The population in this study was class XI IPA and the sample taken was class XI IPA 1 with a total of 25 students. The research instrument used was a test on students at the end of the lesson. The instrument in this study was a test of students cognitive abilities. Based on data analysis,in the buffer solution material there were 5 out of 25 students who did not reach the KKM standard and on the colloid system material there were 3 out of 25 students who did not reach the KKM standard

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the average student learning outcomes of classes taught with the jigsaw cooperative learning model and the average learning outcomes of conventional models. This research is a quantitative study using a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 6 North Halmahera, the sample consisted of 2 classes, namely XI MIPA 3 as the control class and XI MIPA 4 as the experimental class. Research data obtained in the form of the difference in the average value of the pretest and posttest, the experimental class of 29.7, and the difference in the average value of the pretest and posttest of the control class of 17.95. After being tested through the t-test, the results obtained between the control class and the experimental class were significant, namely = 2,024 Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of classes that are applied using the jigsaw type of cooperative learning model with classes that use conventional models.

Abstract

Problem based lerning is a learning model that involves students to solve a problem through the stages of the scientific method so that students can learn knowledge related to the problem and at the same time have the skills to solve the problem. This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem based lerning learning model. on student learning outcomes. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Lirung in the 2018/2019 academic year. The population was all classes in SMA Negeri 1 Lirung with a sample of class XI MIA 2 and class XI MIA 3 as an experimental class of 20 students. With the research design Posttest Only Control Design with the True Experimental method. The results of the calculation of the test (t) the mean similarity of the two parties obtained tcount (4.406) and ttable 2.002 at the level of α = 5%. This shows that the value of t is greater than t table, so the hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the problem-based lerning learning model on student learning outcomes of Chemistry at SMA Negeri 1 Lirung.
