Abstract

The rise of employee layoffs is one of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. This happens in all business fields, including hospitality. Hotel business managers must be able to adapt to this situation, one of which is by applying a relevant HR management model to be applied in the digitalization era. Based on this review, it aims to analyze the influence of digitalization aspects (digital leadership, digital collaboration, digital skills) on employee performance in the hospitality sector in Gianyar Bali Regency. This research is a quantitative study with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 hotel employees in Gianyar Bali Regency. The results of the study conclude that employee performance is influenced by aspects of digitalization consisting of digital leadership, digital collaboration, and digital skills. Digital skills are also influenced by digital leadership, but not by digital collaboration. This research can be a recommendation for the government and hotel managers in compiling a relevant human resource management model to be applied in the new normal era.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the phenomenon at BPKP to provide suggestions regarding the problems faced by the personnel of the Maluku Province BPKP Representatives and to find out how much influence Human Relations and Organization Based Self Esteem had on the Work Ethic of the Maluku Province BPKP Representatives. The type of research used is quantitative research using primary data in the form of interviews, questionnaires and library research which is carried out systematically based on research objectives to BPKP employees of Maluku Province. The sample collection technique in this study used a saturated sample (non probability sampling), that is, all members of the population were used as samples. The results showed that the Human Relations and Organization Based Self Esteem variables had a significant influence on the work ethic of the Maluku Province BPKP Representative. The equation Y = 2.420 + 0.460X1 + 0.450X2 means that the Human Relations and Organization Based Self Esteem variables have a positive effect on work ethic. This study can be concluded that based on statistical tests (partial t test) all variables have a positive and significant influence on the work ethic variable and obtain an adjusted R value of 0.640. this shows that 64.0% work ethic is influenced by the two independent variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant positive abnormal return on Indonesian banking stocks during the announcement of the BI7DRR interest rate cut, to determine the difference between average abnormal returns and cumulative abnormal returns in Indonesian banking stocks before and after the announcement of the BI7DRR interest rate cut in 2019 to 2021. The study This is an event study of 10 announcement dates with an event period of 12 days, namely -5, event date, +5. The sample used is 22 banking companies selected using purposive sampling technique. This study used One Sample t-Test, Paired Samples t-Test, Wilcoxon One Sample and Wilcoxon Paired Samples. The results show that firstly, there was a significant positive abnormal return in Indonesian banking stocks when the announcement of the BI7DRR interest rate cut on 17-18 July 2019 (2nd event date) had Event Study, BI7DRR Interest Rate Reduction,Abnormal Return, Cumulative Abnormal Return a significant value of 0.006 or 0.6%, 19-20 February 2020 (event date). 1) significant value 0.012 or 1.2%, June 17-18 2020 (2nd event date) significant value 0.014 or 1.4% and July 15-16 2020 (2nd event date) significant value 0.016 or 1.6%. Second, there was no abnormal return on Indonesian banking stocks which was significantly positive when the BI7DRR interest rate cut was announced on 21-22 August 2019, 18-19 September 2019, 23-24 October 2019, 18-19 March 2020, 18-19 November 2020 and 17-18 February 2021. Third, there are differences before and after the announcement of the BI7DRR interest rate cut by showing the results of significant average abnormal returns & cumulative abnormal returns on 18-19 September 2019 a significant value of 0.012 or 1.2%, 19-20 February 2020 significant value is 0.0001 or 0.01% and on 17-18 February 2021 the significant value is 0.013 or 1.3%. Fourth, there is no difference in average abnormal returns & cumulative abnormal returns before and after the announcement of BI7DRR Interest Rate reduction on 17-18 July 2019 significant value of 0.069 or 6.9%, 21-22 August 2019 significant value of 0.115 or 11.5%, 23-24 October 2019 significant value 0.685 or 68.5%, March 18-19 2020 significant value 0.372 or 37.2%, June 17-18 2020 significant value 0.390 or 39%, July 15-16 2020 significant value 0.091 or 9.1%, and 18-19 November 2020 significant value 0.610 or 61%.

Abstract

The role of digitization in developing MSMEs in the city of Ambon is a very important factor in increasing product competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to (1) obtain an overview of digital economic growth in Ambon City, (2) determine the benchmarking of the digital economy on Economic Growth in Ambon City, and (3) identify and analyze the main obstacles and keys to startup success, (4) create a development roadmap e-commerce within 1-2 years. The analysis of this study used a qualitative method. The results showed that (1) the growth of MSMEs in Ambon city grew through the intervention of the OPD (Regional Apparatus Organization), the private sector, Bank Indonesia Maluku Representatives, and community members who are members of Maluku Dagang Online. (2). Benchmarking strategy can be done with SWOT analysis to implement future strategies for superior products based on the short, medium, and long term. (3). MSME start-ups use the offline system more than the online system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the Effect of Huma Resource Planning and Competence on the Performance of State Civil Apparatus in PPSDM of the Bukittinggi Regional Ministry of Home Affairs through the utilization of Information Technology during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analysis technique used was SmartPLS 3.3 with a sample of 74 people. The results of the data analysis show that: 1) HR planning has a significant effect on the utilization of information technology in the PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Bukittinggi. 2) Competence has a significant effect on the utilization of information technology in the PPSDM of the Bukittinggi Regional Ministry of Home Affairs. 3) Human resource planning has a significant effect on state civil apparatus performance in PPSDM of the Bukittinggi Regional Ministry of Home Affairs. 4) Competence has a significant effect on state civil apparatus performance in PPSDM of the Bukittinggi Regional Ministry of Home Affairs. 5) Utilization of information technology has a significant effect on state civil apparatus performance in PPSDM of the Bukittinggi Regional Ministry of Home Affairs. 6) Human resource planning has a significant effect on state civil apparatus performance through the utilization of information technology in the PPSDM of the Bukittinggi Regional Ministry of Home Affairs. 7) Competence has an insignificant effect on state civil apparatus performance through the utilization of information technology in the PPSDM of the Bukittinggi Regional Ministry of Home Affairs.

Abstract

Looking for various strategies to market the creative economy after a pandemic disruption is the best practice in running a business. Many studies have been conducted regarding one species during a pandemic, but few have led to the identification of post-pandemic strategies. This aticle was looking for some strategic business marketing strategy after pandemic. Therefore, the authors have collected some data from various publications or secondary data. Then we examine it under a phenomenological approach whose aim is to obtain some phenomenal relevant data to answer the discussion of this article, such as coding the data, evaluating the data, and concluding as desired. Get answers to research questions. Based on the existing data and the discussion of relevant topics, we can conclude that the strategies we have obtained include, among others, formulating products and prices for consumers. Furthermore, we try to maximize promotions with various strategies. Some are through social networking; some are paid media ads. A marketing system via email, then internet-based marketing, as well as direct sales strategies and strategies to identify product weaknesses and many methods that we believe are relevant for marketing strategies business after the pandemic. Thus, these findings will be useful material for further studies.

Abstract

It is important to measure financial performance for the entire organization, including the government, especially the Bali Provincial Government. Evaluation of the government's financial performance can be done by analyzing the financial statements. Based on these reviews, this study aims to analyze trends in the financial performance of the Bali Provincial government from 2016 - 2020. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with data collection techniques using literature studies. This study resulted that the financial performance of the Bali Provincial Government in terms of 2 (two) ratios, namely the independence ratio and the efficiency ratio. The evaluation of the financial assessment of the independence ratio shows that the ability of the Government of Bali to finance its own development, development and services to the community is moderate. Then the evaluation of the Bali Provincial Government's financial performance in terms of efficiency ratios for 5 years is inefficient which shows that the Bali Provincial Government's financial realization has not been able to manage the budget. Based on this calculation, the overall financial performance of the Bali Provincial Government cannot be said to be good considering that there are still indicators that do not meet the good category. This research is expected to be a recommendation material in the preparation of government policies, especially the Bali provincial government in carrying out development and services to.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is twofold: to examine the relationship between Covid-19 pandemic and hospital performance and to compare the performance of Covid-19 referral and non-referral hospitals. To this end, secondary data were obtained from fourteen state-owned hospitals. These fourteen hospitals were parts of Indonesia Health Care Corporation (IHC). The data on hospital’s performance were used to represent the population of all state-owned hospitals in Indonesia. A correlation test was performed using the Rank Spearman test, while the comparison test was done using Mann-Whitney. Test results showed a weak, positive relationship between both types of hospitals in terms of ROA, a moderate, positive relationship between both types of hospitals in terms of EBITDA margin, and a moderate, negative relationship in terms of BOPO ratio. A significant difference in financial performance was also noticed between Covid-19 referral and non-referral hospitals. The result implies that hospitals play a central role in handling Covid-19 pandemic, especially those appointed as the referral hospital by the authority. Referral hospitals actively handled the pandemic, as indicated by the significant difference in financial performance compared to non-referral hospitals. This work is expected to contribute to future studies on similar topics and the hospital management's decision-making process when a similar condition occurs in the future.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the marketing mix strategy consisting of product, price, place, and promotion on increasing sales volume of Reverse Osmosis Health Drinking Water. The research design used in this study used quantitative associative methods. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out on the first hypothesis (H1), which states that the product has a positive and significant effect on increasing sales, the value of t count > t table is 14,563 > 1,661, testing the second hypothesis (H2) which states that price has a positive effect and significantly to the increase in sales, the value of t count > t table is 12,293 > 1,661, testing the third hypothesis (H3) which states that place has a positive and significant effect on increasing sales, the value of t count > t table is 10,378 > 1,661 and on hypothesis testing fourth (H4) which states that promotion has a positive and significant effect on increasing sales, the value of t count > t table is 21,285 > 1,661 which means that product, price, place, and promotion have a positive and significant impact on increasing sales volume of Reverse Osmosis Health Drinking Water products, The R-square value obtained is 0.944, which states that the product, price, place, and promotion variables affect the sales volume of Reverse Osmosis Health Drinking Water products by 94.40%, and other variables influence the remaining 5.60%.
