Abstract

Consumer behavior is a process through which a person in finding, buying, using, evaluating, and acting after consumption of a product, service or idea that is expected to meet his needs. The study aims to determine the effect of service quality which consists of five dimensions, namely tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy towards consumer decision in choosing a taxi, especially Blue Bird taxi. By looking at the existing problems, the author formulates the problem as follows: What are the factors of service consisting of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy will influence the consumer's decision in choosing a taxi. This research is a quantitative research. Quantitative research is the study of data using a formula - a formula which statistics are irrelevant to the issue. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistical calculations with SPSS. From the research results can be seen that the tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. simultaneously influence the decision chose Blue Bird taxi. Partially dimensions of tangibles and empathy positive influence on decision-making. Based on the research results and conclusions can be put forward suggestions - suggestions that could be considered in this study is increase the operational systems as well as maintain services until now executed.  Keywords : are the factors of service consisting of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy will influence the consumer's decision

Abstract

This research is aimed at 1). finding out the internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) of a corporation as the consideration for business decision making. 2). To find out the external factors (opportunities and threats) of a corporation as the consideration for a forward-looking marketing strategy of a company. 3). To determine the marketing strategy policy in accordance with SWOT analysis.Ex-post facto is utilized in this research design. This research is also used to delineate the real phenomenon in the field of the study. The research was conducted in one of the screen-printing business namely Tema Budaya Flores Timur in Surabaya. The subject of the research is the owner and the employee of the screen-printing business of Tema Budaya Flores Timur. The instrument of the research was conducted with the design of the activity at the screen-printing business of Tema Budaya Flores Timur.The result of the research revealed that the internal circumstances of the screen-printing business of Tema Budaya Flores Timur in Surabaya has its value at 22.8 which means that there is a good company value based on the Likert scale. However, the external condition of the screen-printing business has its value at 3.45 which means that it has the high opportunity according to Likert scale. The implementation of the working system at screen-printing business of Tema Budaya Flores Timur in Surabaya has the weight value item at 0.151 that means the company has the lowest threat rank than other threats. The screen-printing business is still in the growth phases. This could be seen from the internal and external SWOT matrix which reveals that the condition of the company at stage 1. Thus, strengths and opportunities (SO) strategy can be applied in Tema Budaya Flores Timur screen-printing business.Key words: SWOT analysis, marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the understanding of entrepreneurship with three factors (personal goals,risk tolerance and freedom will be in the works) to motivate students to become entrepreneurs among student S1 Faculty of Social and Political Science 17 August University of Surabaya. The number of samples in this study were 60 people.. In this study conducted with regression method. Regression models are useful committed against more than one independent variable, to determine its effect on the dependent variable. The result of this study indicate that all variable positive and significant effect on the motivation of students to become entrepreneurs. Abstract

This study uses a quantitative method with survey research using a questionnaire as an instrument. The population in this study were all customers who had bought nelongso, chicken and roasted wong solo chicken in surabaya that were at least 17 years old. Data collection techniques using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability the data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is the test of independt sample t test.The result of this study indicate that all independent variables, namely service quality, price and taste have differences to the dependent variable of customer satisfaction. Significant value of service quality variables of 0.007 followed by price variables have a value of 0.0001 and then the taste variable has a signifinac value of 0.001 and the last variables dependent customer satisfaction has a significance value of 0.002. all variables have a significance value of <0.05. which means that all independent variables of service quality,price,and taste have defferences in customer satisfaction in nelongso and rosdted chicken wong solo.Keywords: service quality, price,taste,customer satisfaction

Abstract

The low sales rate of Gibrass Meatballs compared to ordinary meatballs depot is the background of this research. The title of this research is "Analysis of Taste Influence, Quality of Service, and Price Against Customer Satisfaction (case study of Gibrass Meatballs Jl Kutisari Selatan II No. 45 Surabaya)". This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The population is the customer whoever bought Bakso Gibrass Surabaya, the samples taken as many as 96 respondents with sampling technique purposive sampling.Data collection through questionnaire likert scale 1-5, data analysis technique using instrument test, classical assumption and hypothesis test. The results obtained conclusion as follows: 1. partially the sense of influence and significant, the quality of service has no significant effect and the price effect with the negative direction and significant. 2. Simultaneously taste, quality of service and price have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Keywords:taste, quality of service, price, customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study examines the '' Word Of Mouth Influence Buying Decision Against Laptop Lenovo In among Students in Surabaya City ''. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of word of mouth on purchasing decisions of Lenovo laptops among students Surabaya in Surabaya.This research method uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling method and technique of simple linear regression analysis to test how much influence between variable volume and variable dispersion on purchasing decisions. Data were collected through questionnaires and finding respondents who have been using Lenovo laptop. The population used is that students in Surabaya and research sites in every university in Surabaya with the number of respondents hundred in the afternoon, but this study also use indicators that already includes a variable volume and dispersion of word of mouth.R2 test results showed that the amount of volume and dispersion of word of mouth influence on purchase decisions and the rest of the amount of testing R2 is influenced by other variables not included in this study. From the F test results together it can be concluded that the volume of positive influence on purchasing decisions, while the results of the t test individually variable volume and variable dispersion produce significant and it can be concluded that the variable volume and dispersion showed positive influence on the purchasing decisions of Lenovo laptops among the students in the city Surabaya, and more dominant indicator variable is the volume of word of mouth.            It is hoped with this study, especially the laptop manufacturer Lenovo to pay more attention to the advertising strategy or publications to the general public so that more people know will be a product of Lenovo laptops more often people talk about the word of mouth is increasing. Keywords: Volume word of the mouth, Dispersion of mouth, Purchase Decision

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence receivables turnover and inventory turnover partially and simultam to company profitability of industrial food and beverage listed on the Bursa Efek Indonesia, as well as proving the most dominant influence of variables receivables turnover and inventory turnover on the profitability of industrial enterprises food and beverage listed in the Bursa Efek Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach. Total population in this study are 14 food and beverage industry companies listed on the Bursa Efek Indonesia in 2010. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. Based on the calculations specified number of samples examined 48 financial report of 9 food and beverage company. The results showed (1) partially, receivables turnover no significant effect on the profitability of the company, while the inventory turnover significantly influence the profitability of food and beverage industry companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia 2010-2015. Evident from the test results receivable turnover variable discount a significant value 0.728> 0.05 and 0.351 thitung <ttable 1.67793, while the test result variable inventory turnover significantly discount the value of 0.00 <0.05 and thitung 4451> ttable 1.67793, (2) turnover receivables and inventory turnover simultaneously significant effect on the profitability of the industry food and beverage companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia 2010-2015. Evidenced from the results of the second test variable has a value of 10.029 Fhitung of greater value than Ftabelyaitu 3.20, (3) the inventory turnover most dominant influence on the profitability of the industry food and beverage companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia 2010-2015. This is evidenced by the final calculation of the value of the rotation, and simultaneous partial test value of inventory turnover have the greatest effect on the profitability of the industry food and beverage companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia 2010-2015. Keywords: Accounts Receivable Turnover, Inventory Turnover and Profitability (Return On Assets)
