Abstract

Service quality is an element that can affect patient satisfaction while undergoing health services at the publich health center. To achieve the quality of service, the effectiveness of achieving its goals will be judged by how good the quality of services is. Patient satisfaction in health services is measured by five indicators, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and appearance. These five aspects are closely related to humans as service providers, so that the assessment of the level of satisfaction is very subjective both from the perspective of the community (patiens) and aspect of the assesment. The purpose of this study was to determine the satisfaction of outpatiens with pharmaceutical services at the public health center Oesapa. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people. The sampling technique used an accidental sampling approach. The results showed that the sub-variable level of patient satisfaction on the realibility dimension was included in the satisfie category (75,65%), the empathy dimension was included in the quite satisfied category (60,06%), the responsiveness dimension was included in the quite satisfied category (60,70%), the assurance dimension is included in the satisfied category (78,10%), and the appearance dimensionis includedin the satisfied category (78,70%).

Abstract

In Kupang City, greywater is disposed of in the environment without any treatment, so it often causes problems in terms of aesthetics, health and exceeds the specified parameter limits. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Ecotech garden as one of the methods to treat greywater waste using water ornamental plants. This research type is quasi-experimental with a Group Pretest Posttest Design. The research sample is greywater from the inlet and outlet to be tested in the laboratory. Data were analyzed using the One Way Anova test with a p-value of 0.05, and the quality of wastewater before and after processing would be calculated using the effectiveness formula. Based on the analysis, it was found that the p-value of the three plants was 0,368 and shows that there is no significant difference between the three plants so that one of them can be selected. Based on the effectiveness value, Ecotech garden is considered very effective to reduce the greywater parameters concentration, namely BOD, COD, and TSS by 99% and 97%, while the concentration of ammonia (NH3) and pH both before and after processing are still below the quality standards. The most effective plants are the cattail plants and water hyacinth. It is suggested that Ecotech Garden can be maximally made on a communal scale, such as for housing and boarding houses/ dormitories by using several types of plants to be more effective in treating grey water waste.

Abstract

Maternal mortality ratio in East Nusa Tenggara fluctuated from year to year. In 2016 the maternal mortality rate was 131 per 100,000 live births, in 2017 it was 120 per 100,000 live births and in 2018 it was 161 per 100,000 live births. Health efforts are needed to overcome these problems. One of the efforts made is the provision of a Special Allocation Fund (BOK Funds) to improve the quality and access to health services aimed at reducing maternal, infant and child mortality, overcoming nutritional problems, controlling disease and environmental health, especially in areas that have many health problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of BOK funds for the MCH program at Puskesmas Melolo, East Sumba Regency in 2020. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. There were 4 informants in this study, namely the head of the puskesmas, the person in charge/manager of the BOK funds, the KIA coordinator and the person in charge for the health of UKS/youth Data were collected by conducting in-depth interviews and observations and analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the absorption of BOK funds for the MCH program at the health center reached 80% or Rp180,760,000 from the target of Rp. 225,950,000 that was set at 100%. MCH efforts have been carried out in accordance with the technical guidelines for the use of BOK funds. The use of BOK funds for the MCH program at puskesmas has been effective. It is expected that each program manager will use the funds in accordance with the existing technical guidelines.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between body weight, diet, physical activity and stress levels with menstrual cycle disorders in Faculty of Medicine University of Nusa Cendana students. This type of research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional study approach. The study population was all 154 medical students class 2017-2019 and the sample was determined by using simple random sampling technique as many as 111 people. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between body weight, physical activity and stress level with menstrual cycle disorders and there was no relationship between diet and menstrual cycle disorders. Abstract

Perception of mothers is one of the important aspects in overcoming stunting. The purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions of mothers under five about stunting in the Tarus Community Health Center. The research was qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection by in-depth interviews with 6 mothers of stunted toddlers. The research was conducted in November 2020. The results showed that the perception of mothers under five about stunting is still limited. Mothers perception of the notion of stunting was limited to physical appearance only, such as small figure of children, slow growth, short stature, thinness, weakness, and malnutrition. The impact is prone to illness, weakness, lack of enthusiasm, laziness to move, physical disabilities and reduced children's grasping power. Direct causes of stunting in children not breastfed, not immunized, worms, malnutrition, mothers not consuming nutritious food during pregnancy, premature birth and genetic factors. Efforts to prevent and control stunting byproviding nutritious food and marungga vegetables, routine health checks, exclusive breastfeeding, posyandu, and inviting children to do activities. Informants did not state that environmental factors such asclean water and sanitation is a indirect cause of stunting in children. Prevention and control of stuntingonly focuses on specific nutrition interventions such as food intake and routine health checks at posyandu, but ignores sensitive nutrition interventions, namely clean and healthy lifestyle. Suggestion: it is necessary to do socialization about stunting and its handling through specific interventions and sensitive interventions.

Abstract

The coverage of antenatal care (ANC) at Sei Primary Health Care is still low. In 2018, the coverage of the first visit (K1) was 64% and the coverage of the fourth visit (K4) was 45% with 3 cases of maternal mortality. In 2019, K1 coverage was 68% and K4 coverage was 59%. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the ANC behavior in pregnant women in the work area of Sei Health Center, South Central Timor Regency. This type of research was an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 181 mothers who gave birth in January - September 2020. The sample of 60 mothers was selected by applying simple random sampling using the Slovin formula to determine the sample size. Data analysis used a chi-square test. The result found that age (p-value=0.033), knowledge (p-value=0.000), family support (p-value = 0.023), socio-cultural (p-value = 0.000), and house distance (p-value=0.041) were associated with ANC behavior. Parity (p-value=0.155) and work (p-value = 0.365) were unrelated to ANC behavior. Health workers in the work area of Sei Health Center (midwife/health promoter) need to increase health education about the importance of antenatal care visits and disseminate the information through leaflets to increase the knowledge of pregnant women.

The level of energy and protein adequacy in infants is included in the less category, respectively 71.23% and 64.39%. The baby's weight gain was in the non-increased category, which was 60.27%. The active role of health workers is needed to provide counseling on the correct way of giving MP-ASI. Mothers also need to be more active in seeking information on how to give MP-ASI and actively participate in posyandu (integrated health post) so that mothers can give MP-ASI to babies according to the age of 6-24 months.
