Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika dan Sains (JPFS) or called "Journal of Physics and Science Education" (in english) is a journal that focuses on research on physics education, other science education (chemistry, biology, and Natural Science), and science (theory and application of physics, chemistry, and biology). JPFS publishes a scientific paper on the results of the study and review of the literature in the sphere of natural science education in primary education, secondary education and higher education. Abstract

Pendidik dituntut untuk selektif, kreatif dan inovatif dalam menentukan media pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang efektif digunakan adalah modul elektronik atau e-modul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memetakan tren-tren pengembangan e-modul sebagai sumber belajar MIPA peserta didik tingkat SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menganalisis metadata yang berasal dari database google schoolar melalui perangkat lunak Publish or Perish 8 lalu dipetakan menggunakan VOSviewer. Hasil pemetaan VOSviewer adalah terdapat 2 kluster dalam pengembangan e-modul. Kluster pertama adalah PBL (problem base learning), pembelajaran MIPA, research. Sedangkan kluster 2 adalah engineering, scientist dan technology. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari hasil pemetaan ini adalah pengembangan e-modul terintegrasi teknologi berbasis model pembelajaran PBL (problem base learning) merupakan e-modul yang paling banyak dikembangkan oleh peneliti beberapa tahun terakhir.

Abstract

Penurunan daya baterai smartphone menjadi sebuah permasalahan tersendiri bagi para pengguna smartphone, dikarenakan belum adanya kepastian waktu pengisian ulang baterai dalam selang waktu tertentu setelah pengisian terakhir kali. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut digunakan sebuah persamaan kinetika reaksi orde satu untuk memperkirakan penurunan daya baterai berdasarkan nilai konstanta laju penurunan daya baterai ( ). Pada penelitian ini smartphone menjalankan tiga aplikasi secara bergantian yaitu permainan PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Zoom, dan YouTube selama 100 menit untuk diukur penurunan daya baterai. Selanjutnya hasil pengukuran dianalisis menggunakan persamaan kinetika reaksi orde satu sehingga diperoleh nilai konstanta laju penurunan daya baterai ( ) untuk permainan PUBG, Zoom, dan YouTube masing-masing sebesar 0,0022 menit-1, 0,0014 menit-1, dan 0,0011 menit-1. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, permainan PUBG membutuhkan waktu yang lebih cepat mencapai daya 50% dibandingkan aplikasi Zoom dan YouTube. Selanjutnya, disimpulkan persamaan kinetika reaksi orde satu dapat digunakan untuk memperkirakan kapan smartphone harus diisi ulang sesuai dengan daya minimal baterai yang ditetapkan para pengguna.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada topik hukum Archimedes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada topik hukum Archimedes menggunakan pendekatan STEM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre experiment dengan rancangan one shot pretest-posttest group. Sampel penelitian dipilih satu kelas secara acak dari lima kelas di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Garut. Data kemampuan pemecahan masalah diambil dari hasil tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest) berbentuk soal uraian pada topik hukum Archimedes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tertinggi terdapat pada indikator memfokuskan masalah dan peningkatan paling rendah terdapat pada indikator mengevaluasi solusi. Secara umum, peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada topik hukum Archimedes setelah diterapkannya Pendekatan STEM yang diintegrasikan dengan model pembelajaran experiential Kolb termasuk dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Scratch assisted physics learning media to improve students problem solving abilities. This study uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this study amounted to 12 students participating in the limited trial and 21 students participating in the wide trial. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained: (1) the results of the validation test of the Scratch assisted physics learning media were stated in the very good category assessed by two expert validators, (2) the developed media was declared practical as seen from the results of the implementation of the lesson plan which obtained a score of 95.1%, and (3) the media is said to be effective as seen from the results of the problem solving ability test which has increased in each indicator and the N-gain is 0.44 in the medium category. It was concluded that the Scratch assisted physics learning media in the study was declared valid, practical, and effective so that it was feasible to use it to improve students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Evaluation of reverberation time, noise distribution, and speech intelligence is an important part of educational spatial planning, especially related to the comfort and feasibility of student learning. Reverberation Time, Noise Distribution, and Speech Intelligence are objective parameters commonly used to assess the acoustic quality of a room, according to its intended use. This study aims to measure the parameters of Reverberation Time, Noise Distribution, and Speech Intelligibility using the impulse response method where the results are used as evaluation material for designing or improving the spatial layout of lectures in the PPS UNNES building. The results showed that several room constructions needed to be changed because there was a lot of outside noise coming in, the Reverberation time did not meet the ANSI-60 standard. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the lecture rooms in the PPS UNNES building meet the eligibility which refers to ANSI-60 with certain considerations

Abstract

Cirebon Maritime Vocational High School is one of the vocational schools in the field of fisheries and maritime affairs. According to the results of observations made by researchers, the fundamental problem is that the results of student practice are still limited to fish-based preparations and there is no label on the product packaging. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of knowledge and skills of students in innovating the diversification of seafood processed processed frozen at SMK Maritime Cirebon. The research method was carried out by means of participatory training involving 18 students of the Fisheries Product Processing Technology study program for Class XII of Cirebon Maritime Vocational School as many as 18 who would take part in preparation for the skills competency exam. Through innovation activities and diversification of marine products can increase students' knowledge and skills on frozen breaded shrimp processed products. There was an increase in the aspect of knowledge of 42.47% and an increase in the aspect of students' skills regarding the diversification of processed frozen shrimp reaching 68.7% with the criteria of being skilled as many as 11 respondents (61.11%) and the criteria quite skilled as many as 7 respondents (38.89%).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the level of relationship between language of arrow skills with quality of free-body diagrams. The research was conducted at SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh. The population was 60 students of XI MIA. Using whole population sampling, but there were 6 incomplete data so only data from 54 students were used. The learning process and tests the language of arrow and quality of free-body diagrams were given to the students. The data is normally distributed and linearly related to each other with a positive correlation shown using a scatterplot. The Pearson correlation test conducted to show the relationship between variables. There is a high correlation between language of arrow skills and the quality of the free body diagram, which is indicated by the Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.611.
