Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling services using the sociodrama technique to overcome cyber bullying on social media. This study used a quantitative approach with the One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 7 Grade VIII students of SMP Wachid Hasyim 10 Prambon and the samples were taken through purposive sampling. The results of the Wilcoxon Non-Parametric Test showed an increase in the pre-test and post-test on students with significance results showing 0.018 <0.05. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that group guidance services using the sociodrama technique are effective in reducing cyber bullying behavior.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a considerable effect on the development of student learning. Where guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of face-to-face learning after the Covid-19 pandemic still find many problems that occur in students. Such as a decrease in learning achievement, a decrease in student learning motivation, addiction to online games, the influence of associations, and students who are still carried away with habits during online learning so that in face-to-face learning students still feel lazy to come to school. These factors trigger the number of students who skip class. So that guidance and counseling teachers choose home visit services as a support service used to help students in finding solutions and overcoming the problems they experience. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of home visit services in the implementation of face-to-face learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with case study techniques. This research took place at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. The results of this study show that home visit services have a fairly large role in alleviating problems that occur in students. With the home visit service, student problems can be immediately handled and alleviated. So that it can help the smooth and successful learning process in schools.

Abstract

Self-actualization is the peak experience in Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. Maslow's hierarchy of needs consists of physiological needs, the need for a sense of security (safety needs), the need to have affection (social needs), esteem needs, and self-actualization. The purpose of this study is to describe how Maslow's holistic-dynamic theory describes self-actualization and the Sufistic view of the concept of self-actualization. This study employs a qualitative research method in conjunction with a type of literature review. The data collection technique used is documentation. The results of the study show that Sufistic psychology views self-actualization as a peak experience that is not absolute because humans are not just physical, mechanical beings. Ibn 'Arabi views that humans will reach a peak experience when they have abandoned themselves to unite with God (fana'); then humans must experience four levels: Shari'a, Tariqah, essence, and makrifat. In addition, al-Ghazali also emphasized the fulfillment of mashlahah al-'amm as his peak experience.

Abstract

One of the factors that needed to have the right career choice is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is an individual’s bekief in his ability that influences the way individual reacts to certain situations ang conditions. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and independence in student’s career choices and to find how big relationship between self-efficacy and independence in student’s career choice. The study uses quantitative methods. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire by distributing questionnaires to students. The population in this study was 345 while the sample was 70 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, and for data analysis using simple linear regression, t test, and coefficient determination (R2). The results of the partial test (t test) for the self-efficacy variable obtained a significance value of 0,015 0,05 and a t-cont value of t-table where the t-count is 2,484 while the t-table is 1,977, meaning that there is significant relationship between self-efficacy and independence in career choice. From the results of the normality test, it knows that self-efficacy is normal with a significant value of 0,45452 0,05, which means that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and independence for the student’s career choice.

Abstract

An understanding of religious moderation is needed by someone. To measure the level of understanding of one's religious moderation, valid and reliable measurement tools are needed. The instrument for measuring the level of understanding of religious moderation has not been found as the basis for this research. This study aims to produce valid and reliable measurement tools in measuring the level of understanding of students' religious moderation. This study used a quantitative method with a cross sectional design. Validity test is done by analyzing the pearson product moment technique. The reliability test was analyzed using the cronbach alpha technique. The indicators of this research cover four aspects, namely 1) national commitment; 2) tolerance; 3) non-violence; 4) accommodative to local culture. The results of this study are named with the scale of religious moderation (RM-S). This scale produces 24 (twenty four) valid statements with a value of Sig. <0.05. The religious moderation scale has a reliability level of 0.841 with details of 8 items for indicators of national commitment, 6 items for indicators of tolerance, 7 items for indicators of non-violence and 5 items for indicators of accommodating local culture. This scale can be used by counselors and subsequent researchers to measure the level of understanding of students' religious moderation. The findings can be the basis for counselors in determining appropriate guidance and counseling interventions or services to increase students' understanding of religious moderation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and internet addiction with insomnia in students who are doing their thesis. This study uses a non-experimental quantitative design. Taking the subject using purposive sampling. Respondents in this study were 40 people. Data collection uses 3 instruments; insomnia scale, internet addiction scale, anxiety scale. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between anxiety and internet addiction with insomnia in students who are doing their thesis. The higher the level of anxiety and internet addiction, the higher the level of insomnia experienced by students.

Abstract

The research aimed to know how the role of assertive behavior on adolescent communication skills. In the development of adolescent the ability to express about theirself directly and their feelings honestly is very important. Adolescents tend to prefer to follow the decisions of their peer group and put aside personal interest. This will certainly have a negative impact if it occurs continously because it can affect their future lives. The method used in this study is a literature study approach by reviewing and analyzing several national and international journals regarding the dynamics of assertive behavior and its role in adolescents’s skill of communication. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, it was found that the dynamics of assertive behavior has a role that influences each other with adolescent’s skill in communication.

Abstract

The large number of students who have not been able to decide what career choices they will pursue after graduating from university, as well as the high number of unemployed graduates, one of which is the background of their low career maturity. One of the factors that influence career maturity is locus of control. Locus of control describes how far the individual views his confidence in the efforts he makes to achieve a career. This study aims to describe the relationship between locus of control and career maturity in college students. This study uses a systematic literature review method with PRISMA guidelines. The data used is a collection of articles about locus of control and career maturity in students. The data comes from searching articles on the Google Scholar and Crossref databases with the help of the Publish or Perish (POP) application. The article search strategy uses keywords according to topics from the last 10 years, namely 2012-2022. The articles were screened and an assessment of the feasibility of the journal was carried out according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study uses 6 main articles. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between internal locus of control and career maturity in college students. That is, the higher the student's internal locus of control, the higher the career maturity of the student.
