Abstract

Abstrak: This study aims to determine the forms of difficulties faced by students in solving math problems in the form of stories in the fourth grade of the 44 Ampenan State Elementary School. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade elementary school students as many as 20 students. This research uses descriptive research method. Data collection techniques using tests and interviews. Students are given a test in the form of a math problem in the form of a fraction meter story. Before being used, the questions and interview sheets were first tested for validity. After obtaining research data, researchers analyzed the research data using Miles and Huberman model data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, obtained 3 types of difficulties faced by students in solving math problems in the form of stories. The forms of difficulty are (1) the difficulty of students in determining the steps for solving story problems, (2) the difficulty of students in converting information into mathematical sentences, and (3) difficulties in determining arithmetic operations. The difficulty of students in determining the steps for solving story problems obtains the highest percentage, which is 32.5%, the difficulty of students in converting information into mathematical sentences is 26% and the last is the difficulty in determining arithmetic operations as much as 24.5%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match learning model on students' learning interest in the fourth grade content of SDN 26 Cakranegara. This type of research is a quasi-experimental type of nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is census or total sampling. The total number of samples is 82 students. The data collection method used was in the form of observation and student learning interest questionnaires, questionnaires were used for student learning interest data that had previously been tested for validity and reliability in the form of pretest and posttest. Then analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test and further test with effect size test. Based on the interest in learning data analyzed using the t-test (t-test) obtained tcount of 2,957 while ttable of 1,990 at a confidence level of 5% (0.05), so it can be concluded that (Ha) is accepted and (H0) is rejected. The follow-up test in this study used the Cohen's d effect size formula with the results of 0.781 > 0.6 which means that the effect of the make a match learning model on learning interest is included in the large category based on the effect size classification.

Abstract

Abstrak: This study aims to determine the steps of making media and to determine the feasibility of scrapbook media based on the cultural context of the Sasak tribe in social studies learning for grade IV students at SDN 1 Sakra Selatan. The type of research used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the design steps of the ADDEI model developed by Endang Mulyatiningsih 2019. Data collection methods in this study used multiple choice tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The result of this study is that scrapbook media is suitable for use as a learning medium. The result of this research is that scrapbook media is suitable to be used as a learning medium. Based on the results of the validation of media experts obtained 95% and the results of the validation results by material experts 90%. After the validation test was carried out by the media and material experts, the researcher carried out the application using a multiple choice test. It could be seen that the result of the average pretest score in the experimental class was 5,333.3%, which was greater than the average value for the pretest in the control class, which was 5,167%. Meanwhile, the average score on the post-test test in the experimental class was 8,333.3%, which was greater than the average score for the post-test in the control class, which was 8,333.3%. it can be concluded that the scrapbook media is very valid and the student's response is very good so that the media is very suitable to be used as a learning medium. Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties of students in writing poetry texts. This research is a content analysis research with a qualitative approach through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subject of this research is a poetry document written by students of class IVB at SDN 1 Dasan Baru. The result of this research is the finding of students' difficulties in writing poetry texts. These difficulties include the difficulty of determining diction in the management of inappropriate words, the difficulty of typography in unattractive typographical arrangements, the difficulty of determining figurative language in the strength of expression, the difficulty of determining rhyme in determining the placement of sounds and their repetition, the difficulty of determining the tone in a poetic atmosphere want to convey.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the dominant problems and problems in the implementation of online-based mathematics learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in grade 5 of SDN 22 Cakranegara in the 2020/2021 school year. This research was conducted in the grade 5 of SDN 22 Cakranegara. This type of research uses case study research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were teachers and students of class 5 SDN 22 Cakranegara. Data collection techniques are interview and documentation guidelines. The data analysis technique used is the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, through data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that the problems in online-based mathematics learning were, among others: high internet quota, devices with unsupported memory, lack of focus on studying at home, difficulty understanding math material, and lack of independence of students in solving math problems. The dominant problem in the implementation of online-based mathematics learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is technical constraints, students often run out of quota and do not have their own cellphones. In the constraints of the learning process, students also experience several problems or obstacles including teacher explanations that are difficult to understand, lack of interest and motivation in participating in learning so that students feel bored when learning begins. As well as external constraints in the form of family economic difficulties that make it difficult for students to buy internet quotas.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the teachers difficulties in arranging online learning device on the Curirculum 2013 at SDN Gugus II in Sape district. The approach of this research used qualitative methods. Data collection techniques are done by interviewing, observation, and documentation. The result of this study showed the teachers still have some difficulties in arranging learning devices for online learning, namely (1)difficulty in compiling learning scenario consisting of pre activities 65%, while activities 20%, and posts activities 15%; (2) difficulty compiling the material 46,67%; (3) difficulty in making learning media 60%; (4) difficulties in compiling LKPD 50%; and (5)difficulty in formulating learning assessmen 60%. Thus, it was found that the difficulties of teachers in compiling online learning devices were quite varied. In the difficulty of formulating a learning scenario, it was found difficult to determine the time allocation, the suitability of the steps with the learning method; In compiling the material, it was found difficulties in the suitability of the material with the KD-IPK and the completeness of the material; on the difficulty of making media it was found difficult to adapt the media to the KD-IPK, and materials; on difficulties in compiling LKPD found difficulties in adjusting LKPD with KD-IPK, and materials; Then it was also found difficult to formulate a learning assessment, namely the difficulty of completing the assessment instrument in the form of compiling HOTS question grids, HOTS questions, and determining the HOTS rubric score

Abstract

The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic attacks anyone so the government must take a stand in preventing wider transmission, including the education sector. The Ministry of Education and Culture created a learning from home program or BDR during the pandemic and issued several circulars regarding policies for implementing learning from home during the COVID-19 emergency. This study is to evaluate the learning process from home during the pandemic at SDN 1 Setanggor and SDN 2 Setanggor related to the implementation, the role of people and the barriers of teachers and parents of students while studying from home so far. In this study, there were 8 teachers and 12 guardians of students in each school as respondents. The results of this study obtained from observations, interviews and documentation that the implementation of learning from home cannot be carried out optimally due to the lack of teacher preparation and inadequate infrastructure. Another obstacle also comes from parents who cannot be optimal in assisting children to learn from home. Another teacher's complaint was also because of the implementation of learning from home, students did not understand the content of the material.

Abstract

Class grouping in educational institutions, especially in elementary schools, has been discussed for a long time, but is still relevant to the current educational context. Class grouping strategies have been studied by several educational researchers because of their considerable benefits for teachers and students. This study aims to determine the implementation of class grouping at MI Mambaul Ma'arif Denanyar Jombang, the purpose of class grouping, and the impact that arises from class grouping. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained in this study are the implementation of class grouping at MI Mambaul Ma'arif Denanyar Jombang based on students' academic abilities. In determining the grouping of madrasa students using measuring tools in the form of tests and a ranking system. The purpose of class grouping at MI Mambaul Ma'arif is to facilitate teachers in planning, implementing and assessing learning. In its application, it also has a positive impact, including optimizing student understanding and making it easier for teachers to deliver material. And the negative impact is, a negative view of classes that have low academic abilities. Therefore, to minimize this negative impact, madrasas apply the naming of each class using the names of dzuriyah pondok and the names of wali songo.

Abstract

The education budget is a supporting tool for the implementation of education in an effort to educate human resources (HR) in the region, to have the ability to be more productive and effective in developing the region, the need for funds for routine operational activities and the development of school / madrasah programs in a sustainable manner is felt by every manager. educational institutions, therefore it is necessary to have deeper research on the implementation of the education budget in SD Ta'mirul Islam. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interview and documentation data collection techniques and using interactive analysis. The results showed that: 1) Sources of income from Ta'mirul Islam Elementary School education include: student guardians, new student admissions (PPDB), school business, government 2) The principle of income from Ta'mirul Islam Elementary School education funds uses cross subsidies, namely not all tuition fees are the same level of each student. There are two kinds of SPP that are enforced, namely SPP Standard and SPP for Community Development. 3) Determination of the priority scale of budgeting for RAPBS education activities at SD Ta'mirul Islam, as follows: Activities of teachers and regular education personnel, student activities, the rest is for the improvement of infrastructure. 4) The process of preparing the RAPBS at SD Ta'mirul Islam is as follows ; the first is to hold a coordination work meeting with all school stakeholders. Abstract

Online learning carried out in class IIIA of SDN Experimental 1 Malang City encountered problems in developing students' communication skills. The purpose of the study is to describe the application of the discovery learning model, and describe the improvement of students' oral communication skills with the application of discovery learning. The chosen method is classroom action research to improve the quality of learning through 2 cycles with 4 meetings. The results of the cycle 1 study showed that students' oral communication skills with discovery learning improved compared to the results when pre-action without the application of the model. Meanwhile, the results of students' communication skills again increased learning discovery learning at the end of cycle 2. Thus, the application of the discovery learning model can improve students' oral communication skills.
