Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the impact of marketing management, Customer Trust, and Company Image that affected customer satisfaction in PT.Barakallah Dunia Wisata. Several previous studies that support marketing management, Customer Trust, and Company Image that affected customer satisfaction has been demonstrated. Therefore, the research design is causality.The population of this research is the customers of PT.Barakallah Dunia Wisata in Jakarta. The sample was 100 konsumen. Data used in this study of primary data through questionnaires. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, namely convenience sampling. Analytical tools used are statistical multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis stated that impact of marketing management, customer trust and company image on consumer satisfaction and significant. Research results comes with a discussion of the strategic solution from the results of descriptive statistical analysis.

Abstract

The growth of a fitness center currently in Jakarta and other major cities is growing rapidly, one of which is Celebrity Fitness. This was triggered by the growth of the middle class population and an increase in Indonesia's per capita income which signaled that the community had the opportunity to spend money on secondary needs, one of them exercising in a fitness center. The community will choose which fitness center is according to their desire to become a member. Celebrity Fitness is a fitness center that offers services for members to maintain their fitness and health. Celebrity Fitness feels the need to find out whether the services provided to its members have fulfilled their authority and whether they are consistent to remain as members. Research uses service marketing mix theory, which consists of products, prices, places, promotions, employees, physical evidence and processes to see their perceptions. If their perceptions are good about Celebrity Fitness services, of course they will consistently hold members or continue to do repeat purchases in the long term. The theory used in this study is the service marketing mix  and repurchase intention. The analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis to analyze the service marketing mix relationship and the buying interest of Celebrity Fitness members. The conclusion of this study is that product variables, price, location, people, physical evidence and processes have a positive effect on repurchase intention variables, while promotion variables negatively affect repurchase intention variables.Keyword : Service marketing mix, repurchase intention, products, prices, places, promotions, employees, physical evidence, processes

Abstract

One of the phenomena that occur in Indonesia in today’s digital economy era is that people began to implement a payment system that use electronic money. Therefore, the researcher sets out the formulation of the problem as follows: "The Effect of Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use on the Interest in Using Digital Payment Services Go-Pay." The purpose of this research is toexamine the factors that influence the interest in using electronic money. The model used in this study is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This research was conducted of GO-PAY digital payment service users who are domiciled in Jakarta. The sampling technique used in this study is a convenience sampling technique. While the obtained data is in the form of primary data because the data collection was done by distributing online questionnaires. A total of 125 questionnaire results were received and can be processed by the researcher. The data analysis was carried out by using structural equation modeling (SEM), also known as Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results of the research obtained by researcher show that the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use has a positive influence on interest in use, and the perceived ease of use has a positive influence on perceived usefulness.

Abstract

In facing the competition and the demands of the work in the current era of globalization, companies are required to have a strategy to always have the ideas or things that could help them getting better, in achieving success. A good company must have a reliable human resource, performermance and able to compete with other companies. Human resources is the most decisive factor in the achievement of the objectives of the company. So companies are expected to provide new knowledge, always with require employees in training programs and provide motivation to employees to have a positive attitude for the sake of achieving a goal corporate and personal. The object of this research is the training, motivation, and performance of employees. The data are collected by disseminating a questionnaire, while sampling using the technique of nonprobability sampling with 50 respondents. Statistics calculation using multiple regression with SPSS software tool 20. The results showed that (1) the training effect significantly to the performance of employees, (2) significant influential motivation on performance of employees.Key words: Training, Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Merger and acquisition are one of many growth strategies that can be opted by a firm in order to gain competitive advantages. Merger is business combination from two different companies become one entity that still alive and the others is liquidate meanwhile acquisition is a take over of one company. This research aims to examine the effect of merger and acquisition activities on the company's financial performance which can be measured by using financial ratios, such as current ratio, net profit margin, return on assets, and debt to equity. This research provides evidence about the comparison of financial performance before and after mergers and acquisitions. This research using purposive sampling method and sample of this research consist of 35 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in since 2012 to 2016. This research is using paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon test. The result from this research showed current ratio (CR), return on asset (ROA) and debt to equity (DER) did not show significantly difference after merger and acquisitions. But the net profit margin (NPM) showed difference after merger and acquisitions significantly. The conclusion from this research, there are not significantly differences for financial performance before and after merger and acquisition.Keywords: Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Ratio, Paired Sample t Test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test

Abstract

Financial Technology (Fintech) is rife in finance. Fintech giving advantages to users such as efficiency, and also capable to increase financial inclusion in Indonesia. Peer to Peer Lending service, and Equity Crowdfunding are currently becomeing a trend. The research purpose is to find out what factors influencing individuals in using these digital financial services. This research was conducted in DKI Jakarta by collecting 349 respondents consisting of various demographic characteristics and using the Purposive Random Sampling sampling method. The variables used in research are adaptations of the UTAUT (The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) theory. The results obtained in the form of Performance Expectant Variables and Effort Expectancy have a positive and significant effect on Behavioral Intention of Peer to Peer Lending Services, while Social Influence, Trust, Reputation, and Self Efficacy variables have no positive and significant influence on Behavioral Intention of Services Peer to Peer Lending. Then for Equity Crowdfunding Services the results obtained in the form of Performance Expectancy Variables have a positive and significant effect, while the other 5 variables namely Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Trust, Reputation, and Self Efficacy do not have a positive and significant effect on Behavioral IntentionKey Words : Fintech, UTAUT, Peer to Peer Lending, Equity Crowdfunding, Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Trust, Reputation, Self Efficacy, Behavioral Intention.

Abstract

One of the phenomena that occur in Indonesia in today’s era of globalization is Indonesian people who have used electronic wallet as electronic payment systems. This study aims to find out and get an idea of the influence of advertising, sales promotion, and perceived ease of use toward intention to reuse GO-PAY services in the Jakarta area. In this study, data were collected using communication study, namely by distributing online questionnaires through social media to 120 respondents who have used GO-PAY services in Jakarta. The sampling technique used is judgment sampling, where the sample took based on certain criteria or considerations. The selected criteria are people who have used GOPAY services in the Jakarta area. Data analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the research showed that advertising, sales promotion, and perceived ease of use had a positive effect on reuse intention. The research concludesthat advertising, sales promotion, and perceived ease of use had a positive influence on intention to reuse GO-PAY services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine which method is appropriate for predicting shoe demand at PT Kirana Abadi Sentosa for the January-December 2018 period based on the smallest MAD and MSE values and to know the application of Monte Carlo simulations to calculate inventory at PT Kirana Abadi Sentosa. In this research the Time Series forecasting method (Naive Method, Moving Averages, Exponential Smoothing and Trend Projection) will be compared, then Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) and Mean Square Error (MSE) will be used. After selecting the smallest MAD and MSE and determine the forecast results then entered into the EOQ calculation and compared using Monte Carlo simulations. The research methodology used is quantitative methods. From the analysis of this research Na¯ve Method is the method that has the smallest value with a MAD value of 9.277 and MSE 211.104. The results of Time Series forecasting and EOQ calculations and the results of the Monte Carlo simulation obtained calculations that are suitable for the company PT Kirana Abadi Sentosa are Monte Carlo simulations because it can produce a total inventory cost much smaller at Rp40,791,144,304. Abstract

The financial crisis has raised questions about the finance institution’s Corporate Governance. Thisstudy analysed about the mechanism of corporate governance from the ownership structuresdimension and not from the managerial / control structures. This study was aimed at analyzing theeffect of ownership structure as the corporate governance’s mechanism on banking performance. Thevariables of ownership structure consisted of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, foreignownership, and public (society) ownership with Return On Asset (ROA) as the proxy of performancemeasurement. This study used sample which consisted of 19 banking companies that listed inIndonesian Stock Exchange in the period of 2011-2016. The analytical technique used to examine thehypotheses was multiple linear regression method. The results showed that institutional ownership andmanagerial ownership had an effect on banking performance, while foreign and public ownership hadno effect on banking performance.

Abstract

Maximizing the value of a company is important for the company, because the higher the value of acompany, the better and more feasible for investors to invest. Therefore the company must be careful inmaking policy decisions considering that every financial decision can affect the value of the companyand have an impact on achieving the objectives of the company. The underlying theory of the formationof this research is signaling theory, bird in the hand theory, and the theory of the firm. Signaling theoryexplains how information reported impacts society. Bird in the hand theory explains the impact ofdividend distribution in a company. Theory of the firm explains the characteristics of the company in aneffort to maximize profits. This research was conducted on companies contained in the LQ 45 Index listedon the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015 - 2017. Using a purposive sampling method obtaineda sample of 24 companies with the help of SPSS 22 program. The data analysis technique used is multiplelinear regression. The results of this study indicate that the regression model used has met the classicalassumption test. The results of the tests conducted indicate that data can be backed up. The test resultsare normally distributed and pass the classical assumption test (Normality, Multicolonity,Heteroscedasticity, and Autocorrelation). The results of the study show that (1) Profitability has an effecton Company Values, (2) Capital Structure has an effect on Company Values, and (3) Dividend Policieshave an effect on Company Values.
