Abstract

SearchNEasy is a Malaysia-based Web Development Company providing leading customized web solutions for worldwide business over the past 20 years. People, process, and technology are three elements for successful business transformation. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic affects the workload of employees as the demand for the company's service for web design increases due to the Movement Control Order (MCO), where the Malaysian government commands the closure of all private and government sectors, except those deemed as essential needs. This research intends to understand the factors contributing to employees’ performance. This study was conducted through primary and secondary research with respondents and existing data. Through this study, employees’ performance, job stress, job demand, organizational culture, and organizational rewards were analyzed. It was shown that job stress is one of the factors of employee performance in SearchNEasy due to the increase in workload and lack of employees during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Langowan is a strategic center of economic activity because it is a meeting place for several sub-districts in Minahasa and Mitra. Therefore, the authors see a market opportunity to start a business selling snacks, including selling wet and dry cakes in the Langowan shopping complex. By considering the research objectives that have been set, this research tends to use the "the out-side in" or "opportunity recognition" approach, which is an approach that emphasizes the idea of responding to market needs as the key to success. Based on the "in-side out" approach, to start a business, a prospective entrepreneur must have business competence.

Abstract

This study investigates child sexual abuse cases that remain high in Manado as well as its law enforcement against the perpetrators, especially for underage perpetrators. By using a normative legal method, this research paper aims to examine legal materials, namely the Criminal Code and the Child Protection Law No. 35 of 2014 by collecting empirical data about law enforcement by the North Sulawesi Regional Police. The findings indicate that the law enforcement on underage perpetrators depends on the investigators in charge, in principle, under Law no. 35 of 2014, and they are detained in Child Care Centers of Tomohon. Also, this research specifically underlined that law enforcement against underage perpetrators has followed the procedures of the juvenile justice system, while the victims do need special attention of institutions outside the police. To ensure the rights to education in detention, this study suggests to make special rules regarding the obligation of teachers to provide private lessons.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of entrepreneurial leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic at Karitas Catholic High School in Tomohon City, the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the solutions for handling them. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were five people consisting of a school principal and four vice principals. The data were collected from interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed by an interactive model. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial leadership was implemented through the principal role as an explorer, a miner, an accelerator, and an integrator. The supporting factors are teachers’ IT skills, government allowances, parents’ support and proactivity, online learning facilities, and entrepreneurial instincts of teachers and students. The inhibiting factors are the late payment of tuition fees, the uncertainty of parents' income, the late disbursement of the government's school operational assistance (BOS) funds and the foundation's compulsory funds, the complexity of the foundation's centralized system, and the lack of online learning facilities. The efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors are coordination with parents, overcoming arrears, recording the number of students without online learning facilities, and conducting offline learning for them. The results suggest continuing to implement entrepreneurial leadership more openly and creatively, increase the supporting factors, and minimize the inhibiting factors with various efforts.
