Abstract

The unemployment rate in Indonesia has a large number, one of which is vocational high school (SMK) graduates. The number of unemployed is due to the minimal number of jobs where the number of job seekers is more than the number of jobs. SMK students are not only designed to be ready to work but also in terms of entrepreneurship, one of which is through Creative Product Learning and Entrepreneurship. Creative Product and Entrepreneurship Learning is designed to train students to have entrepreneurial character, training in making creative products and direct experience in entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning creative products and entrepreneurship on interest in entrepreneurship. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The subject of this research is the class XII students of DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang with a total sample of 84 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire instrument. The results showed that the Creative Product Learning and Entrepreneurship variable (X) was in the medium category and the Entrepreneurial Interest variable (Y) was in the medium category as well. Based on the results of the study, there is a positive and significant influence between learning creative products and entrepreneurship on the entrepreneurial interest of students at SMK Negeri 1 Sumedang. It is hoped that in the implementation of creative product learning and entrepreneurship, improvements and experiences regarding entrepreneurship are needed in accordance with the student's field of expertise so that learning can further increase student interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study is intended to determine the corelation of: (1) quality leadership with the achievement of SNP; (2) instructional leadership with the achievement of SNP; (3) transformational leadership with the achievement of SNP; (4) quality, instructional, and transformational leadership simultaneously with the achievement of SNP in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The population in this study were all educators at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. While the selected sample amounted to 30 people. Data collection techniques using online questionnaires. The data analysis technique used descriptive, corelation, and regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) there is a correlation between principal quality leadership with the achievement of National Education Standard by 0,154; (2) there is a correlation between principal instructional leadership with the achievement of National Education Standard by 0,132; (3) there is a correlation between principal transformational leadership with the achievement of National Education Standard by 0,198; (4) there is a correlation between principal quality, instructional, and transformational leadership simultaneously with the achievement of National Education Standard by 0,391 with the effective contribution of the quality leadership variable of 0,052; instructional leadership variable is 0,143; and transformational leadership variable is 0,194.

Abstract

Effective learning is usually characterized and measured by the level of achievement of goals by most students. To achieve learning success, it is necessary to have a readiness to learn. Learning with readiness is closely related, because learning without readiness will not get optimal results. But in reality what happened at SMK PU Negeri Bandung, class XI students were not ready to learn, especially the subject of construction cost estimation. So there needs to be an effort that can provide students' readiness to learn about the material to be discussed, namely by providing a videoscribe. The purpose of this study is to find out how effective the provision of videoscribe is for the learning readiness of class XI students in the subject of construction cost estimation at SMK PU Negeri Bandung. This type of research is an experimental research using a pre-experimental method with a one shot case study research design. The sample of this research was 72 students of class XI DPIB SMK PU Negeri Bandung. While the data collection technique used is a learning readiness test. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the effectiveness of providing videoscribe for learning readiness is 82,33%. This shows that the provision of a videoscribe for the learning readiness of class XI students in the subject of construction cost estimation at SMK PU Negeri Bandung is in the very effective category.

Abstract

The use of the internet has changed education since it was developed as a means of communication in recent years, one of which is as a learning tool used in schools and universities. SMK Negeri 1 Karawang has used online learning methods, where face-to-face teaching and learning activities are converted into virtual teaching and learning activities. However, some aspects cause problems in this virtual teaching and learning activity, especially in the subject of Construction Cost Estimation. This study aims to determine an overview in the form of internal factors and external factors in learning difficulties in the class XII construction cost estimation subject at SMK Negeri 1 Karawang. This research is a descriptive analysis research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 72 students of class XII Building Modeling and Information Design, with a sample of 52 people. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) an overview of the learning difficulties experienced by students, namely from the motivational aspects of internal factors and environmental aspects of external factors, (2) internal factors obtained a percentage of 57% which consisted of aspects: attitude, interest, motivation, concentration and learning habits, (3) external factors obtained a percentage of 43% which consisted of aspects: material delivery, assignments, learning media, economy, and environment.

Abstract

The difficulties experienced by students in terms of understanding 2D images are a problem in this study so the purpose of this study is to examine learning images using augmented reality, student learning outcomes and find out if there is an influence on the use of augmented reality on student learning outcomes in building construction and utility subjects  at SMKN 1 Majalengka. This research method uses the Quasi Experimental Design Method with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design research. The subjects in this study were 36 students of class XI DPIB 1 who are classified as Experimental Class and 36 students of class XI DPIB 2 who are classified as Control Class. The data collection technique in this study used test instruments and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive analysis of student response results and statistical analysis carried out in the N-Gain analysis obtained from the pretest-posttest of students of the experimental class and control class as well as the analysis of the t and mann-whitney u test differences obtained from the results of the pretest-posttest and N-Gain related to the hypothesis. The results showed that the use of Augmented Reality was included in the good category, there was an increase in student learning outcomes after being given treatment from the average acquisition value of N-Gain, based on  the mann-whitney u test H 1 hypothesistest was accepted which means that there is an influence on the average N-Gain value of the experimental class which is greater than that of the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what gamification is suitable for use in hydrology courses based on the learning motivation of students of Building Engineering Education, Jakarta State University, which can be used as a reference in developing hydrology learning applications / LMS.This study uses the Octalysis Gamification Framework method as a reference for determining gamification elements and quantitative methods to collect student motivation data. The population in this study were students of the Jakarta State University Building Engineering Study Program for 2020 2021 who had attended a hydrological course, the samples used in this study amounted to 42 students.The results of this study indicate that students' motivation towards hydrology courses is dominant on the core drive CD-1 Epic Meaning and Calling which is related to motivation to succeed in group study missions, CD-2 Development and Accomplishment which is related to motivation for learning achievement, CD-3 Empowering Of Creativity and Feedback related to motivation for creativity empowerment and instant feedback from lecturers, and CD-8 Loss and Avoidance References related to motivation due to fear of missing opportunities. Thus, the appropriate gamification used in hydrology courses based on student learning motivation is Narrative, Elitism, Cap Switcher, Status Point, Fixed Action Reward, Leaderboard, Quest List, Real-Time Control, Dynamic Feedback, Blank Fills, Booster, Progress Loss, Evanescence Opportunity, Status Quo Sloth.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain information about: (1) evaluation of the curriculum of the Bachelor of Civil Engineering study program in general based on stakeholders external Outcomes Based Curriculum in Disruption Era (OBCiDE); (2) development of the curriculum for the Bachelor of Civil Engineering Study Program, FT UNY, based on input from stakeholders external Outcomes Based Curriculum in Disruption Era (OBCiDE). This research is qualitative research that uses a descriptive approach. Sources of data obtained are primary data and secondary data. The research method used is Focus Group Discussion and documentation. The data analysis approach used was (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data verification, and (4) drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that there is a need increasing the content and scope of the Bachelor of Civil Engineering curriculum with reference to OBCiDE which includes: (1) utilization of software, especially Building Information Modeling and SAP S/4HANA and (2) facilitation of final and fresh graduates in obtaining a Work Skills Certificate as a companion certificate for a diploma. In addition, it is necessary to develop a curriculum for the Bachelor of Civil Engineering study program, FT UNY, with reference to OBCiDE based on Stakeholders External which includes:(1) participating with PT Wika in engineering, (2) lecturers accompanying internship students in projects, and (3) collaborating with Intakindo in introducing BIM to lecturers.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to produce project-based e-modules for detailed images of columns and beams in the Building Construction and Utilities subject. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) using a model that refers to the ADDIE research and development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development of this e-module is limited to the development stage. This study uses a questionnaire instrument to collect product due diligence data through validation tests by media experts and material experts, as well as test instruments in the form of pretest and posttest to collect product trial data for class XI DPIB students at SMKN 1 Kemang Bogor. Expert validation data analysis uses the average score formula and product trials use the normalized gain formula. The results of the development of teaching materials in the form of project-based e-modules detailed drawing material for columns and beams in the Building Construction and Utilities subject. The validation results by media experts obtained an eligibility percentage of 87.05% with the "Very Good" criteria. The results of the validation by material experts obtained an eligibility percentage of 85.69% with the "Very Good" criteria. The results of the small group trials obtained an N-Gain value of 0.3 with the "Medium" criteria. The results of the field trials obtained an N-Gain value of 0.7 with the "High" criteria.

Abstract

Society 5.0 is a challenge for the Indonesian people. These challenges are the cause of increasingly stringent entry into the world of work. Competition to enter the world of work which is increasingly stringent, has increased the number of unemployed in Indonesia. The unemployment rate which has increased, apart from being caused by the low competence knowledge possessed, is due to the lack of readiness for student work. Work readiness is a condition in which individuals are mentally and physically ready to carry out work-related activities. One of the factors that influences work readiness is emotional intelligence. A person with high emotional intelligence, has the ability to control himself, has the endurance to face obstacles, lacks self-satisfaction, can regulate moods, empathizes and can control his emotions so that he is able to control the anxiety that is within so as not to interfere with the ability to think. This study aims to find out the description of emotional intelligence and work readiness of students, as well as how emotional intelligence influences the work readiness of Building Engineering Education students Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The research method used is associative descriptive research with a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The number of research samples was 51 students, consisting of 2019 Building Engineering Education students. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it shows that the emotional intelligence and work readiness of Building Engineering Education students Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia are in the fairly high category, and there is a significant influence of emotional intelligence on work readiness of Indonesian Education University Building Engineering students.
