Abstract

Improving the learning system chosen by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton (UM Buton) in order to compete in the era of disruption with advances in information and communication technology (ICT), particularly electronic-based learning systems, one of which is known as the e-learning learning system. Several professors at UM Buton had difficulties in adding learning material in the form of text, and video, visualizing quiz results and semester examinations, and building forums for question-and-answer sessions while utilizing e-learning. Based on these issues, the service team developed training and mentoring for UM Buton lecturers. It is hoped that with this training, UM Buton will be able to produce quality lecturers and highly educated skilled professionals who can keep up with the times and ICT-based technology while carrying out Catur Dharma tasks and responsibilities as a lecturer at Muhammadiyah Higher Education.

Abstract

Geospatial data is indispensable as basic information for resource utilization and area development. Geospatial data in the form map is necessary to be owned by each administrative area until smallest unit (village/kelurahan). However, the availability of geospatial data in the village is still very limited so that information about the geographical conditions and potentials of the village is not thoroughly known. Administratively, Pondidaha Kelurahan is included in the Pondidaha Sub-district, Konawe Regency, but does not have sufficient geospatial data yet to describe the geographical condition of the area. Therefore, the community service team together with apparatus and community of Pondidaha compiled geospatial data in the Pondidaha by using drone. The activities were started from the collection of secondary data as initial and supporting data in field activities, then continued by coordination with government and community of Pondidaha. Making geospatial data using drones is done by these following steps: (1) making work maps; (2) identifying, validating and field mapping; (3) processing GCP/ICP control point data; (4) processing aerial photography data; (5) making digital land maps; (6) compiling spatial databases; (7) cartographic and printing processes. Geospatial data generated include: landform map, topographical map, slope map, administrative map and land use map of Pondidaha.

The second stage follows up the implementation with activities in the form of lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and practice which aims to build insight into registering journals with DOAJ. The evaluation stage is carried out by giving questionnaires to seminar participants as respondents to get feedback from the organizers. The results were that 86.96% understood how to register scientific journals with DOAJ. Thus, it can be obtained an overview of the level of success in implementing community service related to participants' understanding of registering scientific journals with DOAJ.

Abstract

Since the widespread usage of the Internet, digital marketing has developed at an exponential rate. This level of use is driven by the availability of cell phones at low costs. However, the use of digital marketing by businesspeople, such as village-owned firms, is not generally acknowledged (BUMDes). Most BUMDes in South Buton Regency believe that digital marketing is a location for transactions to take place, which is far from the truth because digital marketing is the use of all resources on the Internet to deliver information about BUMDes' goods. BUMDes' resources include not just marketing websites but also social media platforms controlled by BUMDes. Social media utilized for digital marketing relies not just on social media created specifically for BUMDes but also on social media held by BUMDes workers. As a result of the increased reach of product promotion, product sales from BUMDes in South Buton Regency grow.

Abstract

The large number of MSME actors selling similar products can increase competition in the market. Therefore, to survive high competition, MSME business actors need to understand marketing strategies, especially segmentation, targeting, and positioning (STP). Partners in this community service program are members of the "Forum Komunikasi UMKM in the Donokerto Village." This type of business is engaged in the field of crafts and also culinary. The obstacle from partners is that the income earned is not maximized even though they have made sales through an online business. Therefore, counseling is held in the form of delivering material about STP to increase members' understanding and can be practiced for business operations in the future. The result of this program is that all activities run smoothly, participants are actively involved, and participants' understanding of STP has increased.
