<![CDATA[The application of postpartum birth control is very important because the return of fertility to a mother after giving birth is unpredictable and can occur before the arrival of the menstrual cycle, even in breastfeeding women. The first ovulation in a non-breastfeeding woman can occur as early as 34 days postpartum, even earlier. This causes during breastfeeding, women often experience unwanted pregnancy (KTD / unwanted pregnancy) at intervals close to previous pregnancies. Contraception should be used before sexual activity begins. It is therefore very strategic to start contraception as early as possible after delivery. After efforts to increase knowledge, it is hoped that cadres in the Gambirsari Health Center work area can provide counseling to mothers related to postpartum family planning. Method of implementation with lectures and discussions. The media used are modules, LCDs, laptops, and projectors. The implementation of health education is planned to be carried out at posyandu activities, namely in April-August 2020. The result of community service is that 90% of cadres know and understand better and from the results of monitoring and evaluation by meeting again at Posyandu Kinasih, 90% of cadres can explain the contents of the postpartum family planning counseling module. Based on the implementation of community service, it can be concluded that there is an increase in counseling skills, information, motivation and skills in using family planning at postpartum by cadres in the working area of Puskesmas Gambirsari Surakarta.]]>

<![CDATA[Deaths due to diarrhea in Indonesia have decreased. Although the mortality rate has decreased sharply, the morbidity rate is still quite high. The duration of diarrhea and the frequency of diarrhea in acute patients cannot be reduced. The highest number of diarrhea cases in Jambi Province in 2017 was in Jambi City, amounting to 11,326 cases. The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge about preventing diarrhea in children. This activity was carried out in August 2020 at one of the residents' houses in the Dasawisma group at RT 047 in Kenali Asam Bawah. The target is 15 mothers with children aged 1 to 12 years. The methods used were lectures, discussion / question and answer with mothers about the prevention of diarrhea using leaflets and supplementary feeding in the form of milk, bread and cereals. After the extension activities are carried out, participants understand about the prevention of diarrhea in children and will apply what the extension team has said so that the child's health will be maintained optimally. It is recommended that parents need to equip themselves a lot with various knowledge by participating in extension activities or looking for information in print / online media related to efforts to improve children's health]]>

<![CDATA[The sanitation conditions of the mosque that do not meet the requirements have the potential to become a medium for disease transmission and can cause new problems in the surrounding environment. Like the corona virus/covid-19, it can be transmitted through the interaction of the congregation who come to the mosque. The purpose of community service is to provide education to mosque congregations about the corona virus (Covid -19), about the benefits of using a hand sanitizer using a foot pedal to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The implementation method is designed through several stages including the preparation stage, activity plan, partner participation and activity relevance. The results of this community service include: the community service team held an educational program for managers/marbouts and mosque congregations about the practice of cleaning hands using a hand sanitizer. The hand sanitizer device using a foot pedal is an appropriate technology where its operation does not use a touch of the hand so as to minimize germ/virus contact among mosque congregations. This activity is carried out focusing on health education, so it is hoped that mosque congregations can transmit information to family members at home, so as to create a better household PHBS order. It is hoped that mosque managers can convey information about health protocols in the era of adapting new habits to all mosque congregations. If a positive case of COVID-19 is found in the congregation of the mosque, they will immediately coordinate with the Puskesmas and the Health Office to immediately trace the positive confirmed case.]]>

<![CDATA[Giri Natha Puncak Sari Temple is one of the Hindu temples located in the Archipelago Province. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide handwashing facilities and distribution of masks at Giri Natha Puncak Sari Temple, Bintan Regency to improve handwashing behavior in the community and preventive measures COVID-19. This method of community service is carried out by increasing knowledge through installing banners adapting new habits at places of worship and increasing understanding of the importance of handwashing and the use of masks, as well as making handwashing facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The making of handwashing facilities is directly carried out by the community in cooperation. The activities of making handwashing facilities, installing banners, and distributing masks received good responses from the community as an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the temple.]]>

<![CDATA[Taruna coral organization has an important role to face the Covid 19 outbreak, because it has good resilience and a reliable way of thinking,so that it can be done optimization of taruna coral organization in keeping the spread of Covid 19 is not more widespread. Based on this, the youth of taruna coral needs strengthening of the organization so that it will increase the powerof the ladder p(responsiveness) smart youth. The purpose of community service is to strengthen the organization of taruna coral so that it can become an organization that has high responsiveness to the environmental situation due to Covid through the strengthening of individual efforts, organizational efforts and environment efforts. Some things that need to be strengthened are individual effort, organizational effort and environment effort. The method is done by educating young people in the form of lectures and mentoring activities in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic outbreak. The results were realized that after the education of 100% members of taruna coral realize and know the importance of strengthening the organization through strengthening individual effort, organizational effort and environment effort. And after mentoring activities in the form of social service, 100% of taruna coral members are able to do activities as a form of responsiveness to the occurrence of the covid 19 outbreak, namely by the form of social service activities of distribution of foodstuffs and Brochures covid 19 to citizens. The conclusion is that taruna coral organizations can run programs by fostering and strengthening individual efforts, organizational efforts and environment efforts so as to have responsiveness to the environmental situation due to Covid 19.]]>

<![CDATA[The role of a parent cannot be separated from the participation or cooperation between the mother and the family (husband) and other family members. Barriers that are still found in the care of postpartum mothers are the perception of the community that post partum mothers are sick mothers, their mobility is inhibited, their diet is restricted, colostrum breastfeeding is inhibited so that the needs of post partum mothers are prioritized for full rest. The involvement of extended families in infant care has so far been misunderstood, where baby care is left to other family members. After efforts to improve the behavior of postpartum mothers through Family Centered Maternity Care (FCMC) education, it is hoped that postpartum mothers can carry out postpartum care by involving their families. Implementation method with demonstration and discussion. The media used are baby phantoms, postpartum care booklets, LCDs, laptops and projectors. The implementation of health education is carried out by home visits by paying attention to health protocols from March 2020 to September 2020. The result of community service is that 90% of postpartum mothers can provide postpartum care with family involvement. And from the results of monitoring and evaluation by means of meeting again by means of home care to postpartum mothers using instruments related to postpartum care. Based on the implementation of community service, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the behavior of postpartum mothers in postpartum care in the Gambirsari Public Health Center, Surakarta.]]>

<![CDATA[This corona virus infection also occurred in Indonesia with the number of confirmed cases in 2020 was 162,884. In Riau Islands Province for 2020 the number of confirmed cases is 857 and in Tanjungpinang City itself there are 149 cases with details of 26 active cases, 119 recovered and 4 died. This corona virus can enter the human body through the mucosa of the eyes, nose and mouth when exposed to fluid droplets or granules that come out when we sneeze or cough, either by direct contact with a person carrying the virus or through a surface that that person has touched. The standard recommendation to prevent the spread of infection is through regular hand washing, use of hand sanitizer, apply cough and sneeze etiquette, avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing. One of the places that must be considered in implementing Infection Prevention and Control (PPI) is at the Health Service facility which is visited by many people every day, namely by installing hand sanitizer dispensers in every health service place in Tanjungpinang City.]]>

<![CDATA[Household waste is often ignored and thrown away, so that it can have a bad impact on the environment, but waste can be utilized if it is managed such as animal feed or fertilizer. Fertilizers produced from organic materials contain nutrients needed by plants, use for a long time does not damage the soil and is environmentally friendly so it is safe to use on plants. The purpose of community service is to provide education to residents of RT 005 about the use of organic waste as organic fertilizer so that they can increase the knowledge and understanding of residents on how to reduce the volume of waste and use it as organic fertilizer. The implementation method consists of the preparation stage, activity plan, activity implementation stage, implementation method and activity relevance. The results of the activity, namely, the socialization participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity, especially after being given education through the provision of materials, video screenings and simulations of making liquid organic fertilizer. Residents can use the simulated fertilizer directly on plants in their yard. The participants gained knowledge about the use of household organic waste into fertilizer through community service activities. The focus of the activity is on managing household waste, so that the residents of RT 005 are able to independently manage waste. It is hoped that the government's active role in conducting intense education to the community as an effort to control waste starting from the source of the waste.]]>

<![CDATA[Bustaman village is a village that has the potential for goat slaughter routines and the "gebyuran" tradition, this increases the potential for environmental health problems from piles of carcass waste from goats to piles of plastic waste, both of which can pollute the environment and cause potential zoonoses such as rats that can transmit diseases. leptospirosis. The method of implementing community service is carried out by empowering the community through a problem solving cycle approach. The first stage starts from problem identification, problem priority, brainstorming, village community deliberation and then intervention. The results of community service are quite good, the activities run smoothly as seen from the people who are active in identifying health problems, namely diseases that come from animals, namely rats, mosquitoes and flies. The priority of the community problem is the prevention of a rat-borne disease, namely leptospirosis. The intervention was carried out by catching rats and facilitated by the service team by distributing 20 mouse traps. The eradication of rats has been carried out and the community is committed to carrying out these activities continuously. It is hoped that the local health center can facilitate leptospirosis prevention activities by providing assistance to the community so that these activities can continue.]]>
