Empowerment and Family Welfare (PKK) is a group whose role is to foster community families both in urban and rural areas that can produce synergies for independent prosperous families by improving mental-spiritual life behavior by living and practicing Pancasila. Some public health issues that can be the top priority of TP-PKK at the sub-district level to be considered, include maternal and child health, smoking behavior, health of pregnant women, vaccinations for toddlers, adolescent and school child health, residential environmental health, nutrition for family members and issues related to social epidemiology (disease incidence based on community characteristics). Some of these issues will be used as material for understanding community service activities in 2 sub-districts in Jambi City - East Jambi District and Paal Merah District. These assistance activities include lectures and questions and answers, simulations in class and simulations in the field (family). This community service activity is carried out in the span of time in July and August 2019, followed by the monitoring and evaluation stages in September and October 2019. The stages of this activity include planning, implementation and accompanied by monitoring and evaluation activities. The results of community service include TP-PKK members at the district level to collect data on healthy families by using healthy family diaries.

Community service has been carried out at the Paal X Health Center in Jambi City, which is a partner of FKM Unja to conduct socialization and training on organic waste management to elementary school teachers and students in the Puskesmas working area. Implementation of five months of service from July to November 2019. The aim is to increase awareness and motivation of elementary school teachers on the importance of empowering students to process waste in the school environment. This service method is a socialization of school-based waste management and training in processing organic waste into compost fertilizer. The results of this service are increasing teacher understanding after getting school-based waste management socialization and teachers and students are able to process organic waste into compost using the Takakura method after get training on compost making. Making compost using materials and tools that are easily available include: basket, cardboard, rice husk pillow, soil as a starter, EM4 bioactivator to accelerate decomposition, and wet and dry organic waste collected by students from the school environment. School-based waste management must have the support of leadership policies so that it can be implemented sustainably so as to reduce waste generation in the environment.

Health problems in KAT are things that cannot be ignored by the government because their existence cannot be denied. As many as 1500 people of the Anak Dalam Tribe (SAD) / KAT inhabit the Bukit Duabelas National Park area and 450 inhabitants in the Bukit Tigapuluh Buffer area. Based on the needs of the community in KAT which are still low in knowledge and concern for health, it is necessary to provide counseling about PHBS, which is expected to be able to increase awareness so as to increase the degree of public health, especially in remote indigenous communities. Community service is carried out by stages of meeting with stakeholders and health workers, conducting PHBS counseling, conducting demonstrations on how to wash hands properly and brushing their teeth and conducting monitoring and evaluation of implementation. Increased understanding and awareness of the community at Bukit Suban Air Hitam on efforts to improve health status and be able to practice clean and healthy living behaviors in everyday life, especially in terms of washing hands with soap and how to brush teeth properly.

Tanjungpinang Timur District is the most common district of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) every year. During the last 5 years deaths due to DHF always occur in Tanjungpinang Timur District. Need to trigger the community to participate in the activities of one house one larvae monitor (JUMANTIK) to eradicate mosquito breeding places at home. This community service activity aimed to motivate the community to participate in monitoring mosquito breeding sites through the responsibility of JUMANTIK by forming a task force called the school larvae detective (DETIK) and also having an active role in monitoring larvae in their homes. Community service was carried out with preliminary survey stages, situation analysis, getting to know and interacting with the school, stakeholder advocacy, conducting triggering to increase student participation to perform PSN and larvae monitoring, forming committees and members of detective detective, conducting technical guidance and evaluating and strengthening commitments in making changes in behavior. A special committee had been formed in the form of "Larvae Detective" at SMPN 12 Kota Tanjungpinang, which consists of students and School Health Unit (UKS) members. This committee is accompanied by the UKS supervisor with the task of monitoring larvae around the school once a week and motivating other students to be able to implement larvae monitoring at home on a regular basis.

Substances classified as drug use refers to a group of substances that have a risk to the user, namely addiction (addiction). Drug is a substance or substance that when it enters the body affects the body, especially the central nervous system / brain so that when abused it will cause physical, psychological or mental disorders, and social functions. Jambi Province is the fourth highest province in Indonesia in narcotics distribution. According to survey data from the central BNN with a prevalence rate of 2.2 or reaching 53,177 inhabitants. This community service aims to increase knowledge about the dangers of drugs so that it becomes the basis of planning for the prevention of drug abuse among students / adolescents. This activity is in partnership with SMA N 15 Muaro Jambi. This activity involves all parties, especially students, as the target of increasing knowledge. Activities are carried out from compiling activity plans to monitoring and evaluating activities according to the specified targets and outputs. There has been an increase in students' knowledge about the dangers of drug use from the results of pre and post tests that have been conducted. The issuance of Decree on the establishment of anti-drug cadres as many as 5 students, as well as publications in the mass media are some of the outcomes that have been produced. Other outcomes are journal articles for public service activities.

ABSTRACT It is estimated that every day around 830 women die from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. Health programs to prevent maternal deaths can be implemented through the Childbirth Planning and Complications Prevention Program (P4K). Pregnancy easy workout can be done in planning a safe delivery and preparation in the face of possible complications during labor. The aim of community service is done to improve the skills of pregnancy exercises for pregnant women and Posyandu cadres so that the normal delivery and normal birth weight of the baby are obtained. This pregnancy easy workout activity partnered with the Village Government of Pondok Meja and Posyandu cadres in each village to attract community interest in doing pregnancy easy workout. Pregnancy easy workout improve the skills of mothers and Posyandu cadres in the context of planning birth and prevention of complications. Community service activities are able to attract pregnant women and Posyandu cadres to do pregnancy easy work out. It is hoped that going forward this pregnancy easy workout can be done continuously and sustainably.

ABSTRACT Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is still one of the public health problems that is still the concern of the government in Indonesia. The number of sufferers is increasing from time to time and eventually lead to Extraordinary Events. Various efforts continue to be done to solve the problem of DHF in Jambi City which is an endemic area of DHF. Data from the Jambi Provincial Health Office, recorded in January 2016 there were 466 cases with 4 deaths (13.7 Incident / 100,000 population) spread in 10 districts / cities except Kerinci Regency. The highest number of cases occurred in Jambi City with an Incidence Rate of 40.4 / 100,000 population (237 cases and 2 deaths). During January 2019 alone, there were already 25 cases of DHF recorded in the Muaro Jambi District Health Office. The village of Pondok goose housing is a border area between Jambi City and Muaro Jambi. Many settlements inhabited by Unja students must of course also be a concern. Fogging is not the right solution in limiting dengue mosquitoes. Efforts to improve prevention skills 1 house 1 jumantik so that each house will be able to clean the environment from mosquito nests so that it is expected to solve the problem of dengue cases in the village of pondok pondok swan. ABSTRACT KB Purwosari village is one of the KB villages in the Kenali Asam Bawah Kelurahan, Kota Baru Jambi District. During 2017 since it was set, only the stages of socialization to the community about the importance of the existence of the KB village, and the formation of poktan (activity groups). Divided into 5 groups, namely the Youth Family Development Group (BKR), Prosperous Family Income Improvement Efforts (UPPKS), Toddler Family Development (BKB), Elderly Family Development (BKL) and Managers of the Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK-R). Community service is carried out by stages in formulating schedules and activity plans, providing material to members of the PIK-R poktan and BKR poktan, KIE media simulation to PIK-R poktan and BKR poktan members, home visits (visite), mass media exposure, home data display and monitoring and evaluating success. Has shown success as evidenced by the increase in pre-test results and post-test results, in the 7 categories of variables measured, while those that need to be followed up on 3 variables that have not significantly changed, (the achievement value remains no change), namely in the Triad category KRR on healthy family planning, use of contraceptives, and routine check-ups during pregnancy. Activities initiated by groups of activities both PIK R RT 03 and BKR RT 18 really gave a positive warrants and aura to the KB Village. The continuity of activities with the support of the puskesmas and kelurahan is very good.
