Abstract

Innovative learning is learning that is applied in the digitalization 4.0 era by focusing on strategies, methods or efforts to increase all positive abilities in the process of developing student competencies. Innovative learning provides more opportunities for students to be more active in learning and demonstrates the ability to be independent in solving a problem and conducting mediation with colleagues. Through the literacy program learning is considered to be able to increase the activity of students in the learning process. The socialization was carried out to 20 junior high school Indonesian teachers in Muaro Jambi Regency. Implementation is done by the method of question and answer and discussion. The results of the socialization show that teachers still have not properly implemented the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program so that socialization shows the teacher's stability in understanding literacy. By giving 10 minutes before learning by freeing students in iteration. Through habit will foster its own innovation for students. It is recommended for teachers to always apply literacy time before carrying out learning.

Abstract

Akreditasi perpustakan adalah sebuah pengakuan oleh Perpustakaan Nasional RI atas kinerja pengelolaan sebuah perpustakaan berdasarkan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan. Berdasarkan observasi bahwa kurang dari 1% perpustakaan sekolah di Pekanbaru belum terakreditasi, serta kurangnya pengetahuan pengelola perpustakaan sekolah untuk mempersiapkan akreditasi. Untuk itu tim memerikan solusi dengan melalukan pendampingan secara erklanjutan terhadap perpustakaan-perpustakaan sekolah di Pekanbaru. Diharapkan dapat meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas perpustakaan dan sekolah induknya.

Abstract

This article discusses community service activities in Poleng Village, Gesi District, and Sragen Regency which focus on socialization and digital literacy training in an effort to increase knowledge and develop community superior product innovations. This service uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The aims of this service is to motivate the people of Poleng to optimize their potential and increase innovation in regional superior products. This service answers the challenges of an increasingly sophisticated digital era and realizes the importance of empowering rural communities to explore their own potential and develop regional superior product innovations so as to increase the competitiveness and economic value of community products. Digital literacy socialization and training using the "SiBooky" digital library is the key in providing skills and literacy to the community for community empowerment and sustainable development. This application aims to realize community empowerment and economic independence, as well as expand access to digital technology for all levels of society. enable people to access information flexibly and easily. Through this program, it is hoped that village communities will be better prepared to face the ever-evolving digital era, be able to contribute to regional development in a sustainable manner, realize community empowerment and economic independence, and expand access to digital technology for all levels of society.

Abstract

Short stories are reading materials as literacy skills that contain a variety of environmental education. This Community Service aims to improve the skills of teachers, especially junior high school teachers in Wonomulyo District, to be skilled at choosing and downloading digital short stories with environmental themes; Teachers are skilled at determining the values of environmental education in digital short stories. The Service Team in carrying out this activity uses lecture training methods, discussions, workshops, and download tutorials and determines the values of environmental education in short stories. The partners in this Community Service were 15 teachers in junior high school, Wonomulyo District, Polman Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The results achieved are partners who are skilled at selecting and downloading digital short stories and skilled at determining the values of environmental education in short stories. The output of this PKM is in the form of news on the online media Barru Pos and YouTube videos.

Abstract

Promotion of OSH culture in the workplace is an activity or activities planned and aimed at improving the safety and health of workers and increasing company productivity whose activities are in the form of training/training, visual management in each work area (safety boards, safety signs, posters, banners, slogans), safety meetings (P2K3 meetings, safety induction, safety briefings), emergency response simulations, both informative, persuasive and emotional messages. One of the CV workers. Duta Makmur Abadi complained when we were interviewed that the worker often experienced shortness of breath, got splashes of gram welding in the eyes, and had watery eyes. Therefore, we socialize regarding the potential hazards that occur in welding workers so that workers are aware of potential hazards. Before and after socialization, the workers are given pre and post tests. These questions are used to find out whether workers understand OSH material about the dangers of welding and from these results workers' knowledge increases from 70 to 90 by 29%. And the social activities of the staff at CV Duta Makmur Abadi were declared successful based on the results of the questions before and after the test.

Abstract

Students in Taruna Islam's elementary and junior high schools, whose ages ranged from twelve to thirteen, were chosen as community service partners. The students on average come from middle to lower-economic families. This school is managed by the Islamic Taruna Foundation by employing twenty-four teachers, most of whom are honorary teachers. All teachers have not received certification. The facilities offered by this school are not many, however, the school's accreditation is very good with a grade of A. Based on daring investigations, there is little information about this school, such as student achievements and school activities. Responding to this condition can be interpreted that there are not many innovations for students that are carried out by this school, and this has an impact on the growth and development of children's creativity. In addition, with current technological developments, many children only use technology passively, rarely using technology to create positively and innovatively. The existing technology at home and school is less able to accommodate children's creativity. From this situation, we took the initiative to create activities to explore children's creativity in the form of film-making training. This service aims to make the film a medium that can be used as a space for students' creative aspirations and expressions by prioritizing Islamic values in their work. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to carry out a series of activities including (1) enrichment classes; (2) shooting (recording); (3) post-production; (4) movie screening.

Abstract

The death penalty is a problem issue that contains many controversies, For this reason, through this subject matter grew ideas or ideas to be more detailed so as to get data so that in this service by conducting legal counseling using research methods in the form of research techniques using normative law, specifically, analysis-based research approaches to theories, concepts, and reviewing laws and regulations related to the theme this devotion. Many people's views that the death penalty is the final verdict in court where they consider the execution of the death penalty shall constitute a direct sanction. So it is necessary to improve the death penalty, so that everyone with different statuses knows and understands it so that everyone can have equal access before the law. With the availability of legal advice activities on the death penalty at the law faculty as an implementation of the program of knowledge contained in the curriculum of the faculty of law, Tjut Nyak Dhien University, so that students are expected to understand the legal provisions and implementation of the death penalty and its effect on human rights.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity is intended to enhance motivation and to improve the four fundamental skills in learning Arabic Language for students of Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Lampung. In order to achieve this goal, the activity uses the drama method with a lecturing approach, mentoring, rehearsal, and culminates in a performance. The result of this activity is that the selected students who become actors are highly motivated in the learning process (writing, reading, speaking, and listening). The composition of the text of the legend 'Pulau Kemaro' is also easier to perform as it is associated with the cultural context of the legend.

Abstract

This service activity aims to stimulate students' interest in reading poetry at SMA Muhammadiyah I Pekanbaru through a poetry musicalisation approach. The service team conducted a situational analysis of the partners and found that the students' interest in reading poetry was low due to the lack of understanding and appreciation of poetry and the lack of students' creativity in presenting poetry. This service activity was also carried out as an effort to develop students' creativity in arts and culture. Creativity can help students develop critical and creative thinking skills, problem solving and innovation in various fields. Poetry musicalisation was chosen as a method in this activity because it can increase the appreciation and understanding of literary works, especially poetry. Poetry musicalisation can make poetry more interesting and easier for students to understand, and improve students' language and artistic skills. This method is effective in increasing the appreciation of poetry and helping students to develop their creative skills.

Abstract

This article is entitiled, “The Improvement of Student’s Ability in Speech Delivery Contest. The research was aimed at improving the ability of the students of State Vocational School I of Minas in delivering speech. After doing the treatment it was found that students were knowledgeable in identifying indicators of .speech contest and in doing exposures towards the factors of speaking in giving a speech, such as appearance/ performance, intonation, fluency, organization including time management/ accuracy, pronunciation and articulation. The result, therefore, in terms of the speaking abilitiy of the students in delivering a speech was gradualy increasing.
