Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the interaction between the administration of biophosphate and the use of local Jakar potato cultivars on the growth, yield and sugar content of sweet potato plants. The research method uses (RAK) 4 times. The 1st factor was Biophosphate (B), consisting of two levels: b1 (100 kg/ha biophosphate) and b2 (200 kg/ha biophosphate). The second factor was Sweet Potato Cultivar (K), consisting of three levels: k1 (cilembu), k2 (maja) and k3 (brass and white). Differences in treatment means were tested using Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level. The results showed that bophosphate and sweet potato cultivars had no interaction effect. Phosphate administration did not have a different effect on all growth and yield variables of sweet potato plants. The use of cultivars had no different effect on growth, yield and sugar content.

Abstract

Mawar Rambat (Climbing Rose), merupakan salah satu varietas mawar yang banyak diminati karena sangat unik mempercantik dinding rumah serta menghasilkan warna-warna yang indah. Perbanyakan tanaman mawar biasanya lebih sering dilakukan secara vegetatif, seperti menggunakan stek akan tetapi stek mengalami kegagalan dengan tidak tumbuhnya akar salah satu upaya mempercepat pertumbuhan stek tanaman mawar dengan pemberian fitohormon alamin dan sintetik ( ekstrak bawang merah , gel lidah buata dan air kelapa). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh fitohormon ekstrak bawang merah, lidah buaya, dan air kelapa terhadap waktu muncul tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun dan jumlah akar pada stek mawar Climbing rose. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Non Faktorial (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Setiap unit percobaan menggunakan 5 stek batang. K0 : tanpa ZPT 0% , K1 : konsentrasi air kelapa 100%, K2 : konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah 70%, K3 : konsentrasi lidah buaya 50%, K4 : konsentrasi Rootone F 200 mg/liter air. Parameter yang diamati meliputi waktu muncul tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun dan jumlah akar stek batang mawar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan fitohormon tidak berpengaruh terhadap waktu muncul tunas akan tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tunas, jumlah daun dan jumlah akar stek batang mawar varietas Climbing rose.  Ekstrak bawang merah memberikan pengaruh yang paling nyata dan paling baik   terhadap jumlah tunas stek mawar (2,85 helai) dan jumlah akar (3,80 helai). Ekstrak air kelapa berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun stek mawar.  Ekstrak bawang merah dan air kelapa mengandung auksin dan sitokinin yang berperan untuk mempengaruhi perkembangan dan pertumbuhan tanaman.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the influence of soybean cultivar combinations and biofertilizer dosages on the growth and yield of soybean plants during the rainy season. The analysis results indicated that these combinations did not have a significant effect on the growth and yield of the plants. The variations among treatments were predominantly influenced by the choice of cultivar. The use of biofertilizers enhanced nutrient availability for the plants but did not consistently yield significant results. Rainy season and other environmental factors also affected plant growth. Cultivar variations and genetic factors played a role in yield variations as well. The use of biofertilizers provided benefits for soil structure and microbial activity. In terms of pod and seed quantities, the Deja 2 cultivar with biofertilizer dosages of 0 g/kg and 10 g/kg demonstrated the highest yields. There were no significant differences in root dry weight across all treatments, while the highest shoot dry weight was observed in the Grobogan cultivar with a biofertilizer dosage of 0 g/kg. In terms of weight per 100 seeds, the Grobogan cultivar with biofertilizer dosages of 0 g/kg, 5 g/kg, 10 g/kg, and 15 g/kg exhibited the highest weights. This research indicates that genetic factors, environment, and biofertilizer dosages play a role in the growth and yield of soybean plants. In terms of the number of soybean plant branches, some treatments showed the best results, but the impact of biofertilizer dosages was not significantly observed. Regarding root dry weight, there were no significant differences among the treatments, possibly due to suboptimal translocation of photosynthetic products to the roots resulting from high rainfall. However, shoot dry weight tended to increase in treatments with high rainfall conditions. The parameters of pod fill count and seed count per plant were also influenced by the combination of cultivars and biofertilizer dosages. Some treatments exhibited higher yields, particularly in the combination of the Deja 2 cultivar with a biofertilizer dosage of 0 g/kg.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) with a hydroponic system. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications, namely 15 ml/985 ml water (P1), 20 ml/980 ml water (P2) and 25 ml/975 ml water (P3). as well as the control treatment, namely 0 ml/1000 ml of water (P0). The data collection method was carried out quantitatively by measuring the growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) which included plant height, number of leaves, leaf width and fresh weight of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The data obtained in the normality and homogeneity tests, if the data results are normal and homogeneous, then they are analyzed with the One Way-Anova test, if the data is significant then proceed with the Tukey test. The results of the study showed that the application of fermented liquid organic fertilizer from cow dung at different doses had a significant effect on the number of leaves but had no significant effect on the height of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The effect of applying fertilizer with a concentration of 25 ml/975 ml of water was greater with plant height (21.73 cm) and number of leaves (12A strands).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemanfaatan hasil samping sayuran wortel dan sayuran sawi putih yang dimana kegunaannya masih belum optimal dalam bidang pengolahan pangan. Hasil samping sayuran tersebut dapat diolah menjadi suatu produk yang bermanfaat. Sayuran wortel dan sawi putih tersebut mengandung senyawa antioksidan berupa betakaroten, vitamin B1, B2 yang bermanfaat bagi tubuh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan formulasi terbaik dalam pembuatan ekstrak wortel dan ekstrak sawi putih. Formulasi yang digunakan 100% ekstrak sawi putih 0% ekstrak wortel, 75% ekstrak sawi putih 25% ekstrak wortel, 50% ekstrak sawi putih 50% ekstrak wortel, 25% ekstrak sawi putih 75% ekstrak wortel dan 0% ekstrak sawi putih 100% eksrtak wortel. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang didapatkan langsung terhadap 25 panelis biasa dan 1 panelis ahli. Data diolah menggunakan metode Response Surface Method (RSM). Sampel F5 dan F4 menjadi sampel terbaik dalam segi rasa dan warna, sampel F4 menjadi sampel terbaik dalam segi aroma, sampel F2,F4 dan F5 menjadi ampel terbaik dalam segi tekstur. Sampel yang paling optimum terdapat pada sampel F4 dengan formulasi 25% ekstrak sawi putih dan 75% ekstrak wortel

Abstract

Tanaman cabai (Capsicum annuum L.) merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman holtikultura yang setiap hari dikonsumsi oleh hampir seluruh penduduk Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui respon benih cabai (Capsicum annuum L.) terhadap lama perendaman PGPR (Plant Growth Promiting Rhizobacter) bakteri Paenibacillus polymyxa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga Mei 2022. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan jalan bumi emas RT02/ RW 017 Desa Sirnagalih Cilaku Cianjur. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah (RAL) yang terdiri dari satu faktor, yaitu faktor lama perendaman bakteri PGPR terdiri dari lima taraf. Hasil pengolahan data statistik menyatakan bahwa perendaman selama 12 jam menggunakan bakteri Paenibacillus polymyxa berpengaruh terhadap parameter pertumbuhan tanaman cabai merah, dengan rata-rata tinggi tanaman paling baik 11,95 cm, jumlah daun 10,2 helai dan bobot basah 8,00gr. Tetapi perendaman selama 12 jam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang akar tanaman cabai merah.
