Abstract

Several English course institutes started to employ sojourners as their native speaker tutor. The degree of intention to stay from the sojourner defines whether they choose to stay and work at their companies in Indonesia, move from their initial companies to work for other companies, or go back to their countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze effect of perceived inability to adjust and unwillingness to adjust toward general adjustment and work adjustment. This study then analyzes the effect of general adjustment and work adjustment towards intention to stay of british sojourners who works for the English course. This is a quantitative study, sample used in this study were all the natiove speakers who work in “K” and “BI” English course institution. This study used questionnaire, then to further analyze the relationship among all variables, PLS was used through SmartPLS software. This study found that there was negative effect of perceived inability to adjust and unwillingness to adjust towards general adjustment and work adjustment, among these negative effects only unwillingness to adjust towards general adjustment that showed significant result. This study also found that general adjustment and work adjustment had a positive significant impact towards intention to stay.

Abstract

The concept of green marketing in the company as a form of attention to environmental damage issues. The company then developed to find the right marketing strategy in growing purchase intention. The bottled drinking water industry (AMDK) is one who develops green marketing. This study aims to analyze the effect of green marketing and green brand image on purchase intention through green trust, and to analyze the effect of green marketing, green brand image and green trust on purchase intention. This research uses a questionnaire measured by a Likert scale, find the sample using a non-probability method with a procedure by using purposive sampling. The total respondents in this study were 100 respondents who were consumers who had purchased Cleo bottled water. Data analysis method using partial least squares (PLS) analysis with SmartPLS software. The results reveal that green marketing and green brand image have an effect on purchase intention through green trust on Cleo bottled water products, green marketing and green trust have an effect on purchase intention on Cleo bottled water products, and green brand image has no significant effect on purchase intention on products. Abstract

An effective leadership style in managing human resources and supported by employees' understanding of work will affect work behavior as indicated by an increase in individual job satisfaction and the performance of the unit itself, then affect the company's performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style on job satisfaction, leadership style on performance, job satisfaction on employee performance and the influence of leadership style on performance through the intervening variable job satisfaction. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Samples were taken as many as 100 respondents, employees of the private hospital in Gresik. Sampling using probability sampling technique. Data analysis using Path analysis by Smart PLS 3. The results showed that all 4 (four) hypotheses were proven and significant, leadership style affects job satisfaction, leadership style affects performance, job satisfaction affects employee performance and leadership style affects performance through the intervening variable job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to resolve bad or non-performing loans carried out by banks to debtors who have no prospects in trying and have good intentions in solving them. The settlement of bad debts is carried out peacefully or through legal channels. If the credit is already bad, the bank must settle the credit in various settlements. The method used in this research is to use qualitative methods and in the preparation of this study the authors conducted case and field studies at PT. BRI, Tbk at the Mulyosari Unit Branch Surabaya. In this study the characteristics of the problem related to the background and current condition of the object under study and certain aspects or functions of the company. Case Study Research analyzes in depth about certain conditions and situations to determine alternative solutions for companies experiencing bad loans.The result of this research is that if there are things that cause a jammed collateral to occur at PT. BRI, Tbk. Unit Mulyosari Surabaya branch then by completing the credit. Settlement here does not mean that all non-performing loans must be confiscated by collateral, but are resolved starting peacefully until they enter the realm of law, if the debtor does not have good intentions to solve his credit problems. The next settlement effort can be administratively first, namely resolving the collateral that is experiencing problems before a lawsuit is made to the court/judgment to carry out the execution of the objects that are guaranted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of commitment, competence and capability in improving employee performance at the Protocol Section of the Sertda of East Java Province. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The data collection used is observation, distributing questionnaires and documentation. The population used is all protocol staff employees at the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province, totaling 92 employees. However, the sample used was only 50 employees who were directly involved in this study. The results of this study indicate that the results of the t-test state that commitment can have a positive and significant influence in improving employee performance at the protocol section of the Sertda of East Java Province. However, competence and capability have no significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine intellectual capital in banking using Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data was obtained using secondary and population data in this study using the banking sector listed on the IDX in 2019 to 2021. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using the WarpPLS application. The results showed that Value Added Capital Employed (VACA) had a positive and significant effect on Market Value Added (MVA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) had a positive and insignificant effect on Market Value Added (MVA), Structure Capital Value Added (STVA) positive and significant effect on Market Value Added (MVA), Value Added Capital Employed (VACA) positive and significant effect on Economic Value Added (EVA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) positive and significant effect on Economic Value Added (EVA), Structure Capital Value Added (STVA) has a positive and insignificant effect on Economic Value Added (EVA).

Abstract

Religious tourism is one of the popular types of tourism in Indonesia and has a considerable influence on the local economy. This religious tour always attracts many visitors throughout the year. The purpose of this research is to know what factors influence people's interest in doing religious tourism in Sunan Giri, Gresik Regency. Respondents in this study were visitors to the tomb of Sunan Giri, both in groups and independently. Analysis of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable in this study using SPSS. From the results of the study, it was found that the level of education, income level, and type of work did not affect the interest of tourists in visiting the tomb of Sunan Giri. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the level of religiosity affects the interest of tourists in doing religious tourism. The more religious a person is, the greater the interest of a person in doing religious tourism. This condition is because when tourists visit places that are considered sacred and bring blessings, the more calm their heart and get positive energy for themselves. Tourists also feel that what is said in prayer will be more easily answered because praying in a place that is considered to bring blessings and goodness.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting dalam perusahaan. Dengan memiliki sumber daya manusia yang baik, maka perusahaan akan sangat terbantu dalam mencapai keberhasilan dan tujuan yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh kinerja dari pegawai. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja para pegawai diantaranya yaitu dengan memberikan pelatihan, menyediakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan memberikan fasilitas kerja yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan, lingkungan kerja, dan fasilitas kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Puskesmas Bantarkawung Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling, dan jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 75 (tujuh puluh lima) responden. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) v22. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelatihan, lingkungan kerja, dan fasilitas kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Puskesmas Bantarkawung, Brebes Selatan.

Abstract

Perkembangan pasar saham dan investasi saham sering diamati oleh para investor terutama yang akan menginvestasikan dananya pada suatu perusahaan. Dengan semakin mudahnya berinvestasi di pasar modal dan semakin mudahnya memperoleh informasi maka minat investor di Indonesia akan meningkat. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh resensi bias dan bias konfirmasi terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Investasi Investor di Pasar Modal. Sampel terdiri dari 150 individu investor pasar modal Indonesia dengan ciri-ciri sebagai investor aktif minimal 1 tahun di pasar modal, usia minimal 17 tahun yang berkewarganegaraan Indonesia dan sebagai anggota perusahaan efek. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan metode non probability sampling dan purposive sampling. Analisis menggunakan Structural Equating Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dan pengumpulan data survei. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa recency bias dan confirmation bias mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan investasi investor. Studi ini menambah pengetahuan tentang perilaku keuangan dengan berkonsentrasi pada faktor psikologis dalam analisis manajemen keuangan, khususnya dalam keputusan investasi. Studi ini dapat membantu investor individu lebih memahami efek negatif dari bias perilaku dan nilai pengumpulan informasi ketika berhadapan dengan perilaku irasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh love of money, machiavellian, religiusitas dan idealisme terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa akuntansi secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari responden melalui kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Akuntansi Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau angkatan 2018. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menentukan jumlah berdasarkan rumus Yamane sehingga terdapat sebanyak 117 mahasiswa. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis linier berganda. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel love of money dan machiavellian berpengaruh signifikan sedangkan variabel religiusitas dan idealisme tidak berpengaruh. Hasil pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel love of money, machiavellian, religiusitas dan idealisme memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap persepsi etis mahasiswa akuntansi. Variabel independen dapat menjelaskan Persepsi Etis Mahasiswa Akuntansi sebesar 26,1%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 73,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model regresi ini.
