Abstract

Home security system is a term to describe a system of protection for residents in the environment and its surroundings from the interference of crime. A house has been equipped with high technology and can be connected to the security equipment in the house. Home security is made in order to create security, comfort and safety for residents of the house and can maintain the security of the environment without monitoring. Home security can be operated via a microcontroller and a mobile device. Home security in Indonesia is currently classified as very important, this is because the crime rate is increasing every year. The development of home security has been carried out using various existing technologies, such as the nodemcu microcontroller, which is a hardware platform intended to create prototypes of interactive electronic equipment based on flexible and easy-to-use hardware and software. This research was conducted to produce a simple home security system by utilizing nodemcu technology and a combination of sensors and an ESP32 cam as a medium to be able to run sensors and home security cameras. This research was conducted by conducting a literature study, exploring the technologies used, as well as the concept of mobile-based software development. The next step is to define requirements, analysis, design, and implementation (programming and testing the system that has been built).

Abstract

Garbage is a problem that has become a global environmental issue. Problems that arise in each region can vary, whether it is about the accumulation of organic or non-organic waste. One solution to this waste problem is the existence of waste processing activities. Waste processing is part of waste management by reducing the amount of waste, in addition to utilizing the values contained in the waste itself (recycled materials, other products, and energy). Waste management is crucial and important at this time, given the large volume of waste generated in each region and needs to be handled to keep the environment clean and nice. The waste problem in Semarang Regency, especially in the Demak District, is the chosen place in this study. Through the study of literature, followed by the related waste in each village in the exploration, by the development of solutions for each problem. Organic waste that can be processed into organic fertilizer, non-organic waste, especially plastic can be a advantogous material to produce paving blocks. The results of this research are also compiled in the form of an educative and interesting ebook to inspire the community and encourage positive activities for the community.

Abstract

The hydrogen economy is a shift in the use of fossil energy to energy derived from hydrogen. Currently, Energy experts are trying to find fuel from new and renewable energy, especially in the transportation sector. This study seeks to determine the profile of energy consumption in the city of Semarang, especially in the transportation sector with simulation calculations in a certain year. By knowing the profile of energy consumption in the transportation sector in the city of Semarang, the output of this research is a planning study to build hydrogen economic infrastructure and make possible steps. At the end of this paper, it will be known how big the potential for hydrogen infrastructure development is so that later it can be a guide in determining the right policy in carrying out hydrogen infrastructure development in the city of Semarang. The design capacity of hydrogen production at PT. SAMATOR is 1000 m3/hour. Production breakdown per day : 550 m3/hour x 24hours = 13,200m3. If the production is maximized for 360 days per year, the total hydrogen production in Semarang is 4,752,000m3. In 2020, the demand for hydrogen in the city of Semarang = 1,955,780 m3. With this research data, it can be analyzed that hydrogen production in the city of Semarang can meet the needs of hydrogen for transportation in the city of Semarang.

Abstract

An analysis of the uncertainty value of measuring spur gear dimensions using a profile projector has been carried out. Dimensions of spur gears measured are pitch diameter, root diameter and outside diameter. The manufacture of 3 samples of spur gears was first made with a shape milling machine based on the initial technical data that had been determined. Then measurements were made with a profile projector measuring instrument for the three measuring dimensions, the best repeated measurement average was found in the root diameter measurement for the PJ01 sample of 32.4053 mm with a standard deviation of 0.0077 mm. The uncertainty method used is statistically and applies only to a series of observations. Determination of the uncertainty value is done by performing repeated measurements five times on the same sample. This method refers to ISO GUM with type A evaluation. The uncertainty value obtained for the best measurement is 0.0034 mm with an expanded uncertainty of 0.0068 mm with a 95% confidence level.

Abstract

The flow of containers through Tanjung Emas Port is increasing, this can be seen from the growth of loading and unloading containers from year to year. The condition of the flow of containers is inseparable from the improvement of services at the Container Terminal of Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang through the provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure. With the growth of the container flow which is quite high, the condition of existing facilities, infrastructure and operating systems needs to be reviewed whether the operation is optimal or its performance is still possible to improve, or it is time to add infrastructure and facilities to anticipate future transportation demand. will come. Smooth loading and unloading aims to improve good service in the activities and services of the loading and unloading process of containers according to operational standards. There are several factors that cause the smooth loading and unloading of containers, such as those related to the condition of loading and unloading equipment, the performance of human resources, operations and the environment. In this study, four research variables will be analyzed, namely loading and unloading equipment, human resources, operations and anticipation of natural factors as independent variables and loading and unloading smoothness as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the positive influence both individually between the independent variables of loading and unloading equipment, human resources, operations, anticipation of natural factors on the dependent variable, namely the smoothness of loading and unloading. In this study, the object taken is the user of loading and unloading services at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. Sources of data include primary data and secondary data. The sample in this study was 100 respondents. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression technique. Based on the results of research and multiple analysis, the following equations are generated: Y= -0,504 + 0,264.X1 + 0,203.X2 + 0,323.X3 + 0,249.X4 + ยต From the results of the multiple regression study, it shows that the most dominant variable affecting the smooth loading and unloading is the operational variable with a regression coefficient of 0.323. . With the Adjusted R 2 test, a result of 0.644 or 64.4% was obtained. Simultaneously, the variables of loading and unloading equipment, human resources, operations and natural conditions factors had an effect of 64.4% on the smooth loading and unloading and 35.6% were influenced by research variables that were not detected in this study.

Abstract

This research is mainly aimed at improving the way of discharging coal at PLTU Rembang, which is one of the power plant business units of a subsidiary of PT PLN located in Sluke District, Rembang Regency, Central Java Province. It maps the dimensions of the discharging speed using conveyor and grape . Data collected through surveys to coal shipping companies are regressed in the Linear Regression model. The results show that two characteristics of discharging services with conveyors and grapes affect time and cost (1) The duration of coal discharging (2) The cost of coal discharging. using qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary by direct observation to the field and data collection then the data is processed using multiple linear regression, the targeted outputs are national journals, national seminars, monographs.

Abstract

Selat Sunda merupakan jalur perdagangan yang sangat potensial bagi kapal-kapal terutama kapal asing yang menghubungkan antara wilayah Asia yang menuju Australia atau Afrika bagian Selatan atau sebaliknya. Dengan melihat perkembangan dunia maritim yang mengalami perkembangan yang pesat, pemerintah Indonesia bisa memanfaatkan kondisi tersebut dari segi devisa Negara maupun kepercayaan dunia luar terhadap keamanan wilayah Indonesia. Berdasarkan ketentuan dari dunia International dalam hal ini United Nation Convention On The Law Of The Sea (Unclos) maka pemerintah Indonesia dapat menetapkan suatu peraturan yang menjamin kapal-kapal asing untuk melintasi wilayah Indonesia terutama Selat Sunda dengan istilah Hak Lintas Damai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mengetahui kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia dan prosedur bernavigasi di Selat Sunda dengan mengikuti prinsip bernavigasi secara aman, efisien dan ekonomis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, kajian-kajian di lapangan, dan leterasi pustaka yang berasal dari berbagai sumber. Hasil dari penulisan ini kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia mengenai Sistem Rute di Selat Sunda dapat dilaksanakan dengan maksimal sehingga dapat memperoleh hasil yang positif termasuk pendapatan Negara.

Abstract

Outdoor Digital Printing Machine is a printing machine or digital printing machine whose printouts are intended for outdoors and are weather-resistant, both hot, sunlight and rain. Outdoor machines use a special type of ink, namely solvent ink. The principle of the outdoor machine itself is to print the design results that were previously in the computer. To drive an outdoor machine requires expertise and understanding in its use and there is a mode of acceleration of the printing process on an outdoor machine whose acceleration of the printing process is not yet known, where the acceleration of the printing process can affect consumer satisfaction. This study aims to 1) Knowing about Digital Print Tools as well as. 2) Knowing the use of Outdoor Digital Printing Machines. 3) Knowing the print speed of the outdoor machine. 4) Knowing the percentage of customer satisfaction. The research method used is the R&D method. By using the R&D method, the results obtained to determine the speed of the outdoor engine on the printhead motor with LOW mode have a speed of 124 m/s, MIDELL mode has a speed of 161 m/s, while HIIGH mode has a speed of 241 m/s. s. The results obtained to determine consumer satisfaction with the speed of the print rate through the time of using the machine using the Guttman scale, namely the overall process time of the outdoor digital printing printing machine on customer satisfaction has a conformity, which is indicated by the percentage of answers "Yes" an average of 75%.

Abstract

Listrik merupakan kebutuhan energi utama yang banyak digunakan dalam berbagai hal. Penggunaan energi listrik terus menerus memiliki tingkat resiko bahaya yang lebh tinggi oleh karena itu dibutuhkanlah sebuat sistem proteksi untuk mencegah resiko bahaya yang dapat merusak alat atau bahkan manusia. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut 1). Menjelaskan secara singkat mengenai sistem proteksi, 2). Menjelaskan sistem proteksi pada switchgear, 3). Menjelaskan komponen switchgear beserta fungsinya, 4). Menjelaskan bagaimana cara perawatan dari switchgear. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi, menganalisis, implementasi dan evaluasi. Sistem proteksi switchgear ini mampu berjalan apabila hanya terjadi permasalahan yang melebihi batas nilai yang terpasang.

Abstract

Wilayah pesisir Kota Cilacap memiliki peran penting dalam peningkatan perekonomian warga Cilacap. Salah satunya adalah industri energi yang berada di wilayah pesisir Cilacap. PLTU Adipala berperan penting sebagai penyedia listrik untuk seluruh area Jawa Tengah. Karena lokasi PLTU yang berada di wilayah pesisir, menimbulkan berbagai macam permasalahan. Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi adalah adanya sedimentasi di daerah dermaga dan alur pelayaran PLTU Adipala. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan terganggunya proses pengiriman batu bara. Selain itu adanya gelombang laut yang besar juga menyebabkan terganggunya laju kapal yang ingin menuju dan meninggkalkan area dermaga PLTU Adipala. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan kajian mengenai fenomena perubahan morfologi untuk mengetahui penyebab permasalahan dan solusi yang perlu diterapkan untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian yang akan dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan simulasi pergerakan pola gelombang dan transport sedimen pada perairan di sekitar PLTU Adipala. Hasil pemodelan kondisi eksisting selama 1 bulan menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam labuh saat musim barat sebesar 271.947 m3, sedangkan hasil pemodelan setelah adanya bangunan groin menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam lauh PLTU sebesar 46.529 m3. Pada model yang disimulasikan pada musim timur selama 1 bulan dengan kondisi eksisting menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam labuh PLTU sebesar 56.027 m3, sedangkan hasil pemodelan setelah adanya bangunan groin menunjukkan volume sedimen di kolam lauh PLTU sebesar 46.984 m3. Berdasarkan hasil dari simulasi model di kolam labuh PLTU menunjukkan pengurangan sejumlah volume sedimentasi karena adanya bangunan groin.
