Abstract

Education management, especially strategic management will have a positive impact in the process of developing better and more perfect educational institutions. There are three issues that are the main subject of this study, namely: First: How is the head of the madrasa in developing Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah  Nurul Mannan Madrasah Banjar Barat Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency? Second: How is the management of strategic education implemented in the Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah  Nurul Mannan Madrasah, Banjar Barat Village, Gapura District, Sumenep District? Third: What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of strategic education management in developing Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah  Nurul Mannan Madrasah Banjar Barat Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency? This study uses a qualitative approach in the form of descriptive data sources obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants were the Head of Madrasah, The Ustazz, and some of the students of the Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah  Nurul Mannan Madrasah Banjar Barat Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, in which to support and strengthen the findings of the data validity check through research persistence, and triangulation.

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the treasure of knowledge in Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) about practices of the establishment of Santri’s soft skill through daily life trainings. Those training could be in the form of the activities of ibadah mahdoh, ibadah ghoiru mahdoh, and other learning activities. The approach of this study uses qualitative approach with phenomenological plans. The result of this study shows that (1) habituating strategy through the boarding school activities namely Santri are joining all activities by obeying the rule with strict supervision and giving punishmet to them who disobey it. Meanwhile, the soft skills appear among the santri are disciplinary, honesty, responsibility, self motivation, self confidence, communicating, and leadership. (2) The obstacles which frequently appear among them are “the minimum of Santri’s enthusiasm in forming the self skills so that their enthusiasm appears in joining the activities of establishing Santri’s soft skills and the supporting factor is the masyaikh’s pretension to make all santri have life skill.

Abstract

The existence of the community is one of the keys to the success and progress of the quality of educational institutions because when educational institutions are able to provide trust in the community they always support the activities of the institution. in accordance with the opinion of Mujammil Qamar in his book, that one of the keys to the progress of educational institutions is public trust, when they have trust in educational institutions, they will fully support, not only by sending their children to the education institution, but also recommending others to do so the same as him. Conversely, when the community does not believe, they do not not include their education institution's sons and daughters, but even influence their neighbors or employees, this means that the community is a strategic component that must be given full attention by education managers.

Abstract

The study describes the management of Islamic education supervision program in the ministry of religious affair at Pamekasan regency.  There are three problems to be focus of this study, they are (1) how is arrangement of Islamic education supervision program in the ministry of religious affair at Pamekasan regency.  (2) how is the implementation of Islamic education supervision program in the ministry of religious affair at Pamekasan regency? (3) how is evaluation of the implementation of Islamic education supervision program in the ministry of religious affair at Pamekasan regency? To investigate those problems, this study makes use of qualitative approach with descriptive analysis paradigm.  The techniques of collecting data are in the form of structured interview,participant observation and documentation analysis.  Meanwhile, checking the validity of data is conducted through extention of participation, meticulous observation, triangulation and peer checking.

Abstract

The Al-Quran is used as a guide for human in all aspects of life. In addition, the Koran also has conferred a status between men and women in the sense of normative and social status. However, the Koran also recognizes against superiority between men and women in certain contexts. If examined carefully, when women plunge into the public sphere, absolutely no hint in the Al-Quran that explains the opposition of a woman to become a leader including in becoming a leader of an educational institution. This study used a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenological research. Sources of data are obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants are principals, teachers and students. Meanwhile, checking the validity of data is conducted through extention of participation, triangulation and negative case analysis method.

Abstract

Curriculum becomes one of the most important components in education. It is able to determine how the process of education will be conducted. In this case, curriculum will contribute big impact toward the students’ knowledge, attitude and character. In this research, there are four focuses to be investigated, they are: first, what are the steps of the school principal in implementing the curriculum 2013 as to develop the students’ character at MA Al-Falah Branta Tinggi Tlanakan Pamekasan? Second, what are the teacher’s steps in the learning process to develop the students’ character at MA Al-Falah Branta Tinggi Tlanakan Pamekasan? Third, what are the supporting factors in implementing the curriculum 2013 as to develop the students’ character at MA Al-Falah Branta Tinggi Tlanakan Pamekasan? Abstract

This study aimed to find out how the Creation of Excellent Services through the application of Management Information Systems at the IAIN Purwokerto Library. This study has a qualitative approach with the conclusion that the Creation of Excellent Services through Management Information Systems in the Purwokerto IAIN Library cannot be separated from the theory of management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. The management functions that are applied in the Creation of Excellent Services through the implementation of Management Information Systems are as follows (1) Planning, procurement of Management Information System devices, even though they already exist but continue to be developed in supporting excellent services. (2) Organizing, through the implementation of a Management Information System that runs well because of the support of qualified human resources in each field, so that the use of tools or software can be in accordance with its function. (3) Implementation, excellent services run in accordance with operational standards, especially the use of Management Information Systems support the improvement of Prime Services in the Library. (4) Supervision, carried out by the head of the library by reviewing the performance of excellent service both direct supervision and indirect supervision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the background, planning, implementation, supervision, and impact of healthy canteen services in SMPN 3 Sampang and SMPN 1 Ketapang. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study research design. From the results of the study it was found that: (1) The background of holding a healthy canteen service at the school was due to concern over the number of snacks that are not healthy and not environmentally friendly; (2) The planning for healthy canteen services includes the division of tasks of teachers appointed as coordinators and implementing members of healthy canteens, making MoUs between schools and food sellers, planning the construction of healthy canteens and procuring supporting infrastructure and the determination of the budget to be used; (3) The implementation of healthy canteen services includes activities to provide healthy food and drinks and to provide canteen facilities and infrastructure in accordance with health and environmentally friendly standards; (4) Supervision of healthy canteen services includes internal and external supervision; and (5) The impact of healthy canteen services at the school is the fulfillment of the need to obtain hygienic and nutritious food and drink at school, building the character of students to be able to choose healthy food, the realization of a clean, healthy and comfortable and environmentally friendly school environment.

Abstract

The persuasive strategy in developing religious social relations in schools is needed not only to encourage school members to behave well in the school environment but must be able to instill religious values in the school community until the religious soul is embedded in them to behave both in internal and external environments. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. The results of this study that the strategies carried out by schools are a) activities of greetings at the school gate, the Dhuha prayer in congregation, memorizing juz amma, and the midday prayer. b) the measurement is seen from the attitude of students and student participation in activities. c) how to maintain it by holding Islamic activities. d) the application of growing social sense is increasing. Suggestions for this research are: a) any results obtained by researchers should be a reference for internal improvement for the institution. b) institutions must continue to maintain good social relations between students and educators so that in the future the institution will be more advanced and of good quality. c) routine evaluation of the strategies that have been used.

Abstract

The assignment teacher is a santri who has fulfilled some criteria who are ready to serve, are deployed and sent to various institutions. This is a program from the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Pamekasan Islamic boarding school. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive types. The advantages of the task teacher preparation program are: a) The use of integrated curriculum, b) the applied curriculum has the support of boarding school caretakers, c) the term M2 appears in order to coordinate prospective task teachers, d) there is a regional or block program, e) background the education of educators is arranged according to the field, f) the results of quality improvement in the form of the application and development of an existing curriculum, g) the development and improvement of quality at the Mambaul Ulum boarding school in Bata-Bata is carried out continuously and continuously. The obstacles faced by Islamic boarding schools in implementing the teacher preparation program are: a) the lack of skill and creativity of the teacher or educator in presenting the program, b) the pesantren programs are running less optimally due to minimal student interest in learning, c) programs implemented and implemented are less varied due to minimal facilities and finances.
