Abstract

In early 2020, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) was declared as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). The number of positive cases of this virus continues to grow every day. Positive cases in Buton Tengah by 3 months increased up to 41 cases. Therefore the socialization of the mitigation and adaptation program of the people of Central of Buton during the COVID-19 outbreak needs to be done. The purpose is achievement of the ability to live a healthy life in the form of preventive measures to  faced covid-19 outbreak. Mitigation programs carried out are the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS), clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), Community Movement using masks (GEMAS), TOGA and VCO, as well as the use of handsanitizers and disinfectants. The method was discourse directly to the public. The results obtained is increased public understanding of how to prevent COVID-19 infection in the mitigation program delivered. Conclusion is the mitigation socialization of COVID-19 received a very good response from the community, the residents felt very helped and there was an increase in community understanding and skills.

Abstract

Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease caused by a new coronavirus strain (SARS-CoV-2) which then mutates into various variants including the omicron variant, alpha variant, beta variant, and gamma variant. Where, transmission will pose a high risk when the body's immunity is low. The purpose of this activity is to provide information on various "Family Medicine Gardens" that can function as Immunomodulators to the general public, as well as students, both junior high school (SMP) and elementary school (SD) students. The implementation of this activity is carried out face-to-face and is packaged in the form of socializing the benefits of the Family Medicinal Garden (TOGA) as a source of immunomodulators, together with the community practicing making Family Medicinal Plant gardens in the Poasia and Kambuh Districts as well as the School Environment. In addition, this is also done by distributing leaflets containing information on the types of plants that act as immunomodulators and how to make them.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to identify and provide an understanding of the Use of Social Media In Adolescent Social Networking Addiction In Leleka Village, Kec. Wolasi District, South Konawe. The method is through training, workshops, mentoring and evaluation as a concrete form of community service activities. The results of Community Service in Leleka Village, Wolasi District, South Konawe Regency are that adolescents can reduce the level of social networking addiction by removing social media installed on smartphones if using social media via a computer, turning off notifications while working, studying, or doing other important things, providing regular schedule for accessing social media, looking for fun or other activities outside of social media, leaving all gadgets in a separate room when hanging out with family, and visiting relatives and family in person to make relationships warm.

Abstract

Mokoau Village, Kambu District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi, with partners/target audiences of the Nanga-Nanga Makmur Farmer Group. The Nanga-nanga Makmur Farmer Group is a farmer group that has been established by the Kendari City Agriculture Office in 2020. The problems encountered in the farmer group include land quality in this case low soil fertility, knowledge of fertilization techniques and also minimal organic fertilizer production. In addition, agricultural waste and secondary vegetation which are widely available but have not been optimally utilized as raw materials for engineering soil fertility and nutrient sources for cultivated plants and also irrigation systems/plant watering methods, especially those who carry out manual vegetable cultivation businesses. The solutions and targets offered are conducting technical guidance and demonstration of vegetable crop cultivation plots and the manufacture of secondary vegetation-based fertilizers for soil fertility engineering, as well as transferring sprinkler irrigation system technology. The results obtained from the solutions provided are (1) improving the quality of agricultural land, especially soil fertility through the use of organic fertilizers based on secondary vegetation and irrigation systems using sprinklers, (2) increasing the knowledge and skills of farmer group members about the manufacture of fertilizer products for soil fertility engineering. and some group members also make their own at their respective homes. The results made independently were judged to have succeeded and met the requirements as organic fertilizer, (3) increased knowledge of farmer group members in improving the quality and quality of agricultural land through modification of integrated farming techniques and sprinkler model irrigation systems. Sprinkler irrigation technology has never been carried out by partner groups, so through this activity it has added new insights and new skills to increase their land productivity and also streamline water use and time and there are technological innovations carried out jointly between partner farmer group members, students KKN and supervisors are real efforts in transferring knowledge in an effort to apply agricultural technology to partner groups

Abstract

The implementation of this service aims to promote post-covid 19 recoveries through local wisdom which is located in Ranooha Raya Village, Moramo District, Kabupaten Konawe. This is based on the fact that after two consecutive years, Indonesia has been hit by the 2019 Covid-19 pandemic which has made all aspects of life, especially health and the economy, worse off. After redundant two years, the development of Covid 19 was increasingly sloping, so everyone started to clean up. The method used in this dedication is with several stages, namely the stages of preparation and debriefing, implementation of activities, and control. The results of the Thematic KKN integrated service activities are that the community produces handicrafts, does greenery, and socializes in schools about awareness of how to fill in various positive activities after the pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out and provide an understanding of Public Speaking Training And Public Opinion For Lurah/Lurah Secretary And Abeli District Apparatus Kendari City. The method is through training, workshops, mentoring and evaluation as a concrete form of community service activities. The results of research and Community Service in Abeli District, Kendari City, are that village officials in Namnbo District, Kendari City can do things such as understand the other person, write material in the form of bullet points, insert humor and rhetorical questions, look at the person he is talking to, speak directly. slowly, and practice in front of a mirror and other people in order to develop public speaking and invite public opinion. Some of the obstacles experienced by the lurah apparatus in Nambo Subdistrict include forgetting self-potential, dimming self-confidence, and not mastering material content.

Abstract

Matabura Village is one of the villages located in Amonggedo District, Konawe Regency, which is located around the nickel mining area. One of the obligations of mining companies is to develop a Community Empowerment Program (CEP) based on the needs of the community around the mine. The purpose of this activity is to provide participatory-based community assistance whose final product is an inventory of community needs which will later be given to mining companies around Matabura Village to be included in the CEP document. The method used is through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities and interviews with a sample of 50 respondents. The results of this activity showed that there was a change in the area of the village boundary from 551 Ha to 399.40 Ha and the number of hamlets from 2 to 3 hamlets and the results of interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) recommended programs to be proposed, namely: Scholarship Program, Repair of Places of Worship, Normalization rivers, Utilization of Human Resources, Sports Facilities, Changing Land Profits, Liming or dolomite on plantation land.

Abstract

The use of drugs among the community is useful for providing self-improvement. Communities independently are accustomed to using drugs in everyday life. The lack of access to health in rural areas and the provision of wrong information can have risks and harmful effects for oneself. Need knowledge regarding how to use drugs that are good and right. The DAGUSIBU program is an alternative that can be given to provide education and information for the community. The purpose of this counseling is to provide education and information related to the use of sage medicine with the DAGUSIBU principle. Counseling was carried out in Labuan Bajo Village, North Buton Regency. The material was delivered directly by the pharmacist using interactive lecture and discussion methods, followed by the people of Labuan Bajo Village. The material presented is related to how to get the right and proper medicine, how to use the medicine, how to store the medicine and how to dispose/destroy the medicine. The result of this activity is that the community has received proper information about the use of drugs where previously knowledge about drug use was still lacking. In the future, with the information and knowledge that you already have, you can create a society that is aware of drugs and minimizes the use of wrong drugs in the community.

Abstract

The development of tourism in the coastal area of Soropia District, Konawe Regency has not shown maximum results so that it does not have an impact on increasing people's income in the region. The purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding to the community about the tourism potential that exists in the coastal area of Soropia village and provide understanding to groups of teenagers in coastal areas on the importance of managing tourism information. The method used in educating youth groups in managing social media-based tourism information in coastal areas uses the lecture method by describing various information on the potential of local tourism products in Soropia Village. The results of community service show that the management of tourism information in the coastal area of Soropia District, Konawe Regency has not fully involved the local community, including youth groups. Through this activity, Soropia village youth have understood the importance of their role in disseminating information related to tourism potential in the coastal area of Soropia village, one of which is through digital posters that can be disseminated through social media. Dissemination of the digital poster through social media to promote tourism and attract the wider community to travel in Soropia village. This activity has formed an understanding of youth groups in the coastal area of Soropia District, Konawe Regency regarding the management of tourism information.

Abstract

Indonesian people have used herbal ingredients for health. However, there are differences in natural resources and knowledge of plant processing techniques in medicine which differ from region to region. This community service aims to increase public knowledge about the types of plants that can be cultivated in  Family Medicine Garden and their health benefits. Educational activities and the establishment of a Family Medicine Garden (TOGA) were held at the UHO Faculty of Pharmacy drug park. The method of educational activities is in the form of lectures and question-and-answer interactions, followed by manufacturing and planting medicinal plants at  Family Medicine Garden. Education is carried out by introducing the efficacy of 21 plants, the parts used and the benefits of  Family Medicine Garden. The activity went well, and the community was enthusiastic about getting new knowledge about types of plants and how to make  Family Medicine Garden.
