Abstract

This study aims to describe the quality of work skills of students majoring in PKK FT UNM and to determine the effect of communication skills, creative thinking skills, critical thinking skills, applied academic skills, and technology use skills on job readiness partially and simultaneously. This type of research is quantitative research. The data was obtained from the value of the Industrial Practice course, the distribution of the questionnaire using the Guttman scale via google form, equipped with unstructured interviews. The population of this research is the 2016 undergraduate students majoring in PKK FT UNM Fashion Design study program who have implemented industrial practices in the 2019/2020 academic year as many as 50 people with a sample of 49 people. The research data were analyzed using simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, effective contribution analysis and relative contribution analysis. The results showed that the quality of student work skills was classified as very good based on the value of industrial practice, the value of industrial practice reports, and the value of industrial practice seminars. The R2 value in the simple regression analysis shows that communication skills have the most positive effect, namely 19%, creative thinking skills have a positive effect of 17.1%, applied academic skills have a positive effect of 14.5%, technology use skills have a positive effect of 10.9%, and critical thinking skills with the lowest positive effect of 10.6%. These five variables have a positive effect on job readiness in the fashion industry by 44.6%.

Abstract

The study aimed to discover 1) The influence of using google classroom learning media on learning outcomes in Computer and Basic Network subject at SMKN 3 Pangkep, 2) the influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes in Computer and Basic Network subject at SMKN 3 Pangkep, and 3) the influence of using google classroom learning media and learning motivation on learningoutcomes in Computer and Basic Network subject at SMKN 3 Pangkep. The research method used was ex-post facto research. The total population was 67 people. The sample size was 67 people because this study worked on the population. Data collection was conducted by using documentation and questionnaire. The prerequisite test used the normality test and linearity test. Hypothesis testing employed simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression.The results of the study reveal that: (1) students' perceptions on the use of google classroom learning media in Computer and Basic Network subject at SMKN 3 Pangkep are in "very good" category, (2) the students’ motivation in Computer and Basic Network subject at SMKN 3 Pangkep is in "very high"category, (3) the learning outcomes in Computer and Basic Network subject at SMKN 3 Pangkep are in "good" category, (4) there is an influence of using google classroom learning media on learning outcomes. The test results show that the Sig. F of 0.000 <0.05 with a contribution of 19.6%, (5) there is an influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes. The test results show that the Sig. F of 0.000 <0.05 with a contribution of 41.3%, and (6) there is an influence on the use of google classroom learning media and learning motivation collectively on learning outcomes. The test results show the value of Sig.F is 0.000 <0.05 with a contribution of 45.6%. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of student learning outcomes in Mathematics, Physics and Basic Programming subjects at SMK Negeri 7 Takalar and to determine the relationship between student learning outcomes in Mathematics and Physics subjects with Student Knowledge in Basic Programming subjects. Ex-post facto research method. The total population is 210 people and the sample is 63 people taken at random proportionally. Data collection using documentation and tests. Hypothesis testing is carried out after conducting the analysis prerequisite test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) student learning outcomes in Mathematics are in the "good" criteria. (2) student learning outcomes in Physics subjects are in the "good" criteria. (3) student learning outcomes in Basic Programming subjects are in the "good" criteria. (4) there is a relationship between learning outcomes in Mathematics with students' knowledge of Basic Programming subjects of R=0.418 and the value of Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 17.5%, (5) there is a relationship between learning outcomes in Physics subjects with student knowledge in Basic Programming subjects of R = 0.468 and the value of Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 21.9%, (6) there is a joint relationship with students' knowledge of Basic Programming subjects of R = 0.538 and the value of Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 28.9%. So the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative descriptive research that aims to describe the teachers’ competency in productive subject at SMKN (public vocational schools) in Makassar city. The research variables are pedagogic competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence. The population of the study was 223 teachers in productive subject spread from 13 SMKN in Makassar City, the sample was chosen by employing systematic random sampling technique and obtained 70 teachers in productive subject. The study employed quantitative descriptive analysis method. The research data were obtained from the Makassar DISDIK documentation. The results of the study reveal that the average value of pedagogic competence is 48.90 (24.73%), the average value of personal competence is 47.59 (24.07%), the average value of social competence is 51.71 (26.16%), and the average value of professional competence is 49.51 (25.04%). The conclusion based on the value of pedagogic competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence, the teachers’ competency in productive subject at SMKN in Makassar city is in low category.

Abstract

This study is a survey research that aims to determine the extent of absorption graduates of vocational areas of expertise of fashion in DU / DI clothing and relevance of soft skills and hard skills of labor graduates of vocational expertise of fashion with the needs of the DU / DI clothing in the city of Makassar in employment . The population in this study were all DU/DI workers in the field of fashion in Makassar City, totaling 406 workers. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, namely sampling based on certain criteria consisting of 43 respondents from 15 DU/DI in the field of fashion. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and interviews obtained through primary data and secondary data. The analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis and percentage calculations. The results showed that the level of absorption of Vocational High School graduates in the Fashion Designfashionin Makassar City was still in the very low category, namely 11% or 43 of the 406 workers absorbed in the fashionExpertise in theindustryindustry . fashion is in the category is as high as 81%, hardskill labordressmaking vocational graduates are in very high category by 39%.

Abstract

This research aims to discover (1) the stages of developing android-based digital fashion design learning media in Applied Computer Application Course; (2) the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of android-based digital fashion design learning media in Applied Computer Application Course. The research method used was Research and Development with ADDIE development model. The research subjects were 26 students and 2 lecturers of the PKK FT UNM. Data collection was obtained through documentation, observation, and questionnaire and analyzed by using quantitative descriptive statistical technique. The results of the research on the development of android-based digital fashion design learning media were conducted through the following stages: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The quality of the learning media is stated as very valid by the media expert validator with a value of 94.12% which is in very valid category and the material expert with a value of 100% which is in very valid category. The practicality of the media based on the observation of students’ activities scored 88.75% in very active category, lecturer’s activities scored 93.75% in very active category, and the students’ response questionnaire scored 93.66% in very good category. The effectiveness is stated based on the results of the learning test, obtaining an average value of 91.15 with an A value index and students’ performance assessments obtaining an average of 90.40 with an A- value index where all students are stated to have passed. Therefore, the digital fashion design learning media is feasible to be used in the Applied Computer Application Course in the PKK FT UNM

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of work interest, the influence of the school environment and work readiness as well as the influence of industrial work practices (prakerin), work interest, and school environment on work readiness of class XII students of SMK Negeri 4 Gowa in the 2020/2021 school year partially or simultaneously. This type of research is a quantitative analysis research and the sampling technique uses a proportional cluster random sampling technique which is determined using the Krejcie table with a sample size of 73 respondents. Data collection methods use observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that 46.5% of students had a high category of apprenticeship scores, 84.9% of students with a high level of work interest, 93.2% of students admitted that the school environment affected work readiness and 89% of students had a high level of work readiness. . Furthermore, partially internship has an effect on student work readiness, work interest has a significant effect on student work readiness by 14.82% and the school environment has a significant effect on student work readiness by 39.0. Simultaneously internship, work interest and school environment have a significant effect on readiness student work amounted to 51.4%..

Abstract

This study aims to: a) find out the results of the steps for developing an offline-based internet simulator in junior high schools in the Selayar Islands Regency, and b) find out whether the development of an offline-based internet simulator is valid, practical and effective for use in junior high schools in the Selayar Islands Regency. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development stages used refer to the waterfall development model which consists of five steps, namely: a) requirements analysis and definition, b) system and software design, c) implementation and unit testing, d) system integration and testing, and e) operations and maintenance. The results of the study: a) At the stage of needs analysis and definition, needs analysis and curriculum analysis were carried out. Needs analysis is done by means of observation and interviews with  ubject teachers, and curriculum analysis is done by analyzing the applicable curriculum. b) At the system and software design stage, it is determined the content that will be provided on the product to be developed, and the product design is made in the form of a diagram. c) At the stage of implementation and unit testing, the software is made based on the software design that has been made previously. At this stage, testing the functions contained in the software by expert validators is also carried out. d) At the stage of integration and system testing, limited testing is carried out and improvements are made to the software in accordance with the results of the limited trial. e) At the operation and maintenance stage, field testing is carried out and improvements are made based on the results of field trials. The results of validity testing conducted by 2 expert validators indicate that the software developed is included in the very valid category. The results of small group trials indicate the level of practicality of the software developed is included in the practical category, while the level of effectiveness of the software developed is included in the effective category. The results of field trials indicate that the level of practicality of the software developed is included in the practical category, while the level of  ffectiveness of the software developed is included in the effective category.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the partial and simultaneous influence of students' knowledge, work attitude, vocational competence, and learning motivation on students' work readiness. The study was aquantitative research with a descriptive approach using a survey method. The research sample was 54 respondents from the TKJ and Multimudia Department. The sampling technique employed purposiverandom sampling, namely sampling based on certain criteria. The results show that the work readiness of grade XII TKJ and Multimedia at SMK Negeri 2 in Bima City in the industrial revolution 4.0 era is in good category by 68.5%, students’ knowledge is in good category by 53.7% with work attitude by 68.5%, vocational competence is in high category by 72.2% and learning motivation is in 64.8%. The simple linear regression analysis shows that there is no influence of TKJ and Multimedia students'knowledge on work readiness ρ=0.34>0.05, correlation determinant r=0.346 (low), contribution ofinfluence 1.7%, work attitude has a significant influence on work readiness proven by a contribution of 10.4% and is supported by a correlation value of r=0.322. The sstudents’ vocational competence of SMK Negeri 2 in Bima City in grade XII of TKJ and Multimedia has no significant influence on work readiness. The learning motivation has a significant influence on students' work readiness with a contribution of 12.6%. Multiple linear regression shows that there is a simultaneous significant influence of students’ knowledge, work attitude, vocational competence, learning motivation on work readiness with a contribution of 17.8%.

Abstract

This research aims to; (1) knowing the stages of development learning media based on smartphone application modul in Indonesian food processing courses; (2) find out that the learning media based on the smartphone application modul that was developed meets the valid, effective and practical criteriaThis research method is Research and Development with ADDIE development model. The research subjects were 20 students and 1 lecturer from the PKK FT UNM Department. Data collection through documentation, observation and questionnaire methods were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statisticaltechniques. The results of the research on development learning media based onsmartphone application modul through the following stages: (1) analyzing the initial conditions and learning needs; (2) the design stage of designing learning devices and media; (3) making lesson plans, modul, recipes for side dishes, learning media based on smartphone application modul and guide books, as well as data collection instruments that go through a validation stage by material experts and media experts; (4) product implementation in individual trials, small group trials and field trials after minor revisions; (5) stages of summative evaluation and product finalization. The quality of the learning media was declared very valid by the media expert validator with a value of 97.22%and material expert with value95.14%. The practicality of the media based on the observationof student activities scores90.76% and activities of lecturers get grades 95.81% criteria are very active, and student response questionnaires get a score of 90.32% criteria are very good. Effectiveness is stated based on the results of the learning test obtaining an average value of 86.46% and the performance assessment obtaining an average of 85.45% where all students are declared to have passed, so that the learning media based on the smartphone application modul is suitable for use in Indonesian food processing courses in the Department of Education PKK FT UNM.
