Abstract

Foodpanda is a food delivery service widely known among Malaysians for ordering food and groceries. Due to the pandemic outbreak, the usage of Foodpanda apps has rapidly increased. The objective of the study is to identify the performance of Foodpanda during the pandemic and if Foodpanda is the favorite food delivery service. A total of 150 Foodpanda customers participated in the survey. Results indicated that Foodpanda is ranked as the most favorite food delivery service in Malaysia. The results also indicated that customer satisfaction and loyalty are the key elements of the better performance of Foodpanda. The recommendation is presented.

Abstract

What makes “them” the best? The purpose of this research is to enhance what makes sultan center different from all the other supermarkets. Sultan center has been successful, doesn’t it make you wonder, how are they successful? “It is because they use good performance management?” This research is going to include what is sultan center, and we will interview their manager to have full feedback about their company, how they work, mission/vision, goals and market segment. As we as how did they accomplish having loyal customers and how they manage to overcome their competitors. In the interview, we will reveal more of sultan center secrets and their great success.

Abstract

Since corona-virus disease (COVID-19) has caused a major economic shock, entrepreneurs such as small business owners, agents, and drop shippers face enormous obstacles to carry out their businesses. This study aims to investigate the extent of social media platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram in attracting customers towards Shopee, leading its business performance. This brief discusses how the COVID-19 crisis is accelerating an expansion of e-commerce especially Shopee towards customers, likely involving a long-term shift of e-commerce transactions from luxury goods and services to everyday necessities in conjunction with driving users' satisfaction, leading to business performance improvements. An online survey questionnaire is used for data collection and the respondents consist of a total of 150 Shopee users (buyers) from Malaysia. The findings of this study serve a valuable insight and guidelines for businesses to integrate into social media platforms for effective marketing as well as potential future development.Keywords: Business performance, COVID-19, E-commerce, Entrepreneurs, Shopee, Social media.

Abstract

Today, our lives heavily depend on technology. Technology becomes the central of the lives of people. The fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) has changed the way how we live, how we work and how we communicate with others.Today, Huawei, a private Chinese firm from China has risen and dominate the world’s most important emerging technology. The present paper proposes that technology advancement and growth is one important factor that leads to the success of Huawei. Being a modern and technological enterprise, Huawei has a clear vision of how the company should work towards a more sustainable society. As this paper will show, there is still changes and improvement that can be made, to help Huawei to become even better.

Abstract

The current Covid 19 pandemic has caused many people to feel grateful for the work they still have. Millions of people have lost their jobs and livelihoods, economic problems and financial woes increase exponentially. The study aims to analyse the strategy, impact, and challenges faced by Pos Malaysia during the COVID-19 crisis. With operations scaled-down amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, the company faced loss. The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has had significant impact on the companies, resulting the decrease of revenue for the first quarter in 2020. This study used a quantitative approach. An online survey was carried using Google Forms and the respondents were Pos Malaysia employees. By using a sample of 50 employees in Pos Malaysia, the result showed that Pos Malaysia business was affected due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the subsequent stricter lockdown measures imposed in Malaysia.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTanjung Lesung is one developing tourism destination, that prepares infrastructure for accessibility. It is in Tanjung Jaya village and is an agricultural area, with people whose main livelihood is from the agricultural sector. The change in the community's main livelihood from agriculture to the tourism industry requires community development and assistance. This study aims to provide an overview of the socio-economic aspects of the Tanjung Lesung community and provide an overview of tourism development. Qualitative methods were used in this paper, using deliberate sampling, interviews, and observations. The field observations found that the people of Tanjung Lesung are an agricultural community that has begun to shift to tourism businesses. For people's livelihoods, they have tried to start doing business in the tourism industry, especially with the support from the Cikadu Edutourism Center.Keywords: Social Economy, Tourism Development, Tourist Destination, Agriculture

Abstract

This study aims to shave the speed of badminton players and serve as a media trainer to improve the speed and agility of badminton players, especially the problem on the players to hit well and quality, should be rested on foot movement. for that must practice footwork diligently and diligently, with the creation of SMAIZER Tool. The method used Effective and efficient footwork (footwork) will facilitate athletes move in the field so that the required stamina will be smaller. Simulation results Tools that are processed to produce accurate data have software and hardware systems to input user movements as desired or can be randomly based on the indicator lights on the Shadow Trainer.

Abstract

Innovation is at the core of all products at Adidas. The Adidas group has toiled through the years to be the sole giant to manufacture and supply world-class sports products in their clothing, footwear, and accessories. The ongoing global climate change concerns and an intention to support the initiatives by various groups to protect the environment, the Adidas group shifted towards sustainability. The decision of re-considering materials while being manufactured was key to determine the innovation in their products through sustainability. The objective of the study is to understand the product innovation by Adidas by adopting sustainability and how this approach has affected the customer’s perception and brand image.

Abstract

Unilever is a global consumer goods company which provides daily products such as soap and snacks. It is one of the oldest multinational companies distributing its products to more than 190 countries. During Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for products and services has greatly decreased, and Unilever has shown a great reaction towards the situation. The purpose of this study is to explore how Covid-19 affected Unilever and how Unilever improved the company welfare. The data collected from news, websites and other reviews. This study found that Unilever instant food products decreased as consumers focus on purchasing household products.

Abstract

The study investigates to which extent social media platforms, specifically TikTok, have driven users’ satisfaction and lead to business performance improvements. Entrepreneurs, such as small business owners, agents, and drop shippers were facing tremendous challenges to carry out their businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The existence of social media applications has allowed them to promote their products or services in various forms despite the failure to conduct businesses physically. However, they tend to use certain social media application only if it satisfies their business needs. This study employs 100 samples of data from students in Universiti Sains Malaysia collected through an online questionnaire. Subsequently, SPSS analysis was conducted and generated descriptive, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis to support the hypotheses. The findings of this study revealed that users’ satisfaction towards social media, specifically TikTok, have led to customer engagement, personal branding, and effective promotion. Thus, entrepreneurs shall first adopt social media application that provides the highest level of satisfaction to motivate continuous usage of the application which then gradually improves their business performance.
