Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the balance of work and school life. The population in this study were Postgraduate students at Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. While the analytical tool used is a partial and simultaneous regression test with the help of SPSS. The results of this study conclude that work demands, working hours, overtime work, work demands, parental status, family size, supervisor support and work autonomy simultaneously have a significant effect on student work-life balance. Partially, job demands, working hours, parental status, family size and support from supervisors have no effect on work-life balance. Meanwhile, overtime work, family demands and work autonomy have a significant effect on the work-life balance of students. This research will be useful for candidates and students who integrate work and school for the success of their studies, for policy makers, namely managers of colleges and workplace institutions and also useful for future researchers who are expected to follow up on the results of this study

Abstract

Digital technology currently has many positive impacts on the economy through increased productivity, the creation of product innovations and wide opportunities in creating new business units. This study analyzes the digitization of Islamic entrepreneurship. This research method uses library research with qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results of this study show that Islamic digital entrepreneurship is the product sold, product promotion, alternative payment that is in accordance with the rules and does not violate religious prohibitions (usury, gharar, maysir and haram). Because businesses must be able to use digital technology to gain strength in the supply chain, in this case businesses need to use technology to be able to distribute their products to consumers with maximum time and service. The connection with Islamic entrepreneurship, of course, until the distribution or delivery stage to customers, it is necessary to provide clear alternatives to consumers so that consumers are free to choose.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is an important issue because the findings of a number of studies show mixed results. In this regard, the identification of successful entrepreneurial factors becomes a reference for mapping important aspects of entrepreneurship itself. The purpose of this research is to examine the success of entrepreneurial factors using purpose sampling consisting of 200 female students. The results show that the variables of knowledge, capital and social factors have a positive effect on the success of entrepreneurial factors. Discussions and limitations are presented so that they become a reference for further research

Abstract

The performance of MSMEs has become the center of attention in almost every government. This is based on the high contribution of MSMEs to the economy of a region. However, it cannot be denied that MSMEs still have weaknesses that need to be improved so that they can sustain their business in a sustainable manner. Organizational capability as a company resource is a driving factor for the performance of MSMEs. This study uses the theoretical basis of Resource Based View to examine the performance of MSMEs through market communication capability, pricing capability and product innovation capability. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire using google form media. The number of respondents' answers that can be analyzed is 85 respondents. The results of data analysis using SmartPLS, namely product innovation capability and pricing capability, have a significant positive effect on performance and also have a significant positive effect when mediating the effect of market communication capability on performance, but the results of this study also show that market communication capability does not have a significant positive effect on performance.

Abstract

Research related to the adoption of e-filing is interesting to study because a number of previous studies have shown mixed results, so this is an interesting research gap. The purpose of this research is to examine the success factors of e-filing adoption using the TAM model involving respondents who have passed the taxation course with the observation setting in Solo involving 100 students. The research results corroborate the findings of a number of previous studies on the effect of benefit, convenience and risk on e-filing adoption. These results provide suggestions for stakeholders to disseminate information about the benefits and conveniences of e-filing, although on the other hand it is important to reduce all risk threats from e-filing.

Abstract

Cheating occurs because of the opportunity, pressure and rationalization. In addition, the low Sharia compliance and poor governance implemented by Sharia entities provide opportunities for fraud. This study aims to empirically examine the disclosure of Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG) and shariah compliance against the fraud acts. The sample used in this study was Islamic commercial banks that listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. The number of samples in this study were 40 samples, from a total of 8 Islamic banks with a 5-year study period. Determination of the sample obtained by using purposive sampling. The hypothesis testing using logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicated that the disclosure of ICG, Islamic Investment, and Equitable Distribution has no effect on fraud. Profit sharing has a negative effect on fraud. While Islamic income has a positive influence on fraud. This study shows that Islamic entities, especially Islamic banking, needs to improve compliance and good corporate governance in accordance with Sharia principles, to reduce fraud acts.

Abstract

Effect of Capital, Earning, and Liquidity on Audit Opinions Going Concern (Empirical Study on Islamic Commercial Banks Registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) 2017-2020 Period). This study aims to determine the Effect of Capital, Earning, and Liquidity on Audit Opinions Going Concern (Empirical Study on Islamic Commercial Banks Registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 2017-2020 period). The population of this study is Islamic Commercial Banks Registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 2017-2020 period. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, the type of data used is secondary data and 9 Islamic Commercial Banks are used as samples. Statistical analysis in this study used multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that: Capital has an effect on Audit Opinion Going Concern. Earnings affect the Audit Opinion Going concern. Liquidity has no effect on Audit Opinion Going Concern. Capital, Earning, Liquidity simultaneously affect theAudit Opinion Going Concern.

Abstract

The company demands its employees to produce good performance. The performance results of each employee will be different because it is influenced by several factors including personality, communication and work stress. For this reason, this study was conducted with the aim of testing and analyzing the influence of personality, communication and work stress towards employee performance at PT. Gunungdjati Perkasa Cilacap. The sample in this study amounted to 58 people with the sampling method used was a census. The data collection technique using questionnaire and the data analysis techniques used are validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test which using statistical data processing software. The results showed that personality has a significant positive influence towards employee performance, but communication and work stress has no influence towards employee performance. Personality, communication and work stress simultaneously has a significant positive influence towards employee performance. The contribution of the variables of personality, communication and work stress of 0,263 (26,3%) towards the performance of employees at PT. Gunungdjati Perkasa Cilacap.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image on consumer loyalty Telkomsel in the city of Surakarta with consumer satisfaction and brand trust as mediating variables. This study uses quantitative research methods, and sampling is carried out using non-probability methods. The number of respondents used was 167 respondents. This research uses SEM Smart PLS analysis method. The results showed that the variable (1) brand image had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, (2) brand image has a positive and significant effect on brand trust, (3) customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (4) brand trust has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty (5) consumer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on brand trust, (6) brand image has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. In addition, the variables of consumer satisfaction and brand trust significantly prove as mediate partially.

Abstract

Large number of MSMEs have been severely hit during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study examined a micro equity financing model as an innovative answer to conventional micro loan in assisting MSMEs’ bussiness adaptation during the pandemic. The micro equity financing model employs a profit-sharing system with flexible repayment method and without collateral. A qualitative descriptive data processing approach was employed. Due to pandemic situation, interviews were conducted online to respondents of MSME that use the micro equity model in the Equitree project in Yogyakarta. The micro equity model has shown to provide many benefits to MSME business adaptation, especially in financial, marketing and product aspects, such as innovation in product development, online marketing, business assistance, flexible repayment and easier loan application.
