Abstract

The existence of MSMEs is the backbone of the community's economy which is important in growing the economy of a region. In this regard, education and training are continuously held in all fields to create reliable, skilled, and competent entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study was to determine efforts to increase business success by cultivating entrepreneurial character, entrepreneurial attitude, and entrepreneurial education for kendang craftsmen in Blitar City. This research is a qualitative single case study. The research method uses full observation or observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the entrepreneurial characteristics of Kendang Craftsmen were having entrepreneurial characteristics of trust, thirst for achievement, independence, optimism, profit or result-oriented, painstaking hard work, tenacity, persistence, disciplined, diligence, and ability to take risks. The entrepreneurial attitude developed by Kendang Craftsmen shows an honest attitude in acting, high discipline, self-confidence, responsibility, innovation, sociable, kind, friendly, smart, selective, and does not discriminate against people. The Entrepreneurship Education conducted by Kendang Craftsmen is different. Education can be obtained from three types of education, namely formal, non-formal and informal education

Abstract

A person's entrepreneurial intention is influenced by several factors which can be seen in an integral framework involving various internal factors, external factors, and contextual factors. Creating a job field requires a high and strong intention and motivation so that it can be realized. ­­Apart from high intentions and motivation, it should also be accompanied by background. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the family business on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial motivation. This research is a quantitative type with an explanatory descriptive. The research population was all Marble Craftsmen in Tulungagung of 267 Marble Craftsmen and obtained a sample of 157 respondents. The questionnaire used in this study is closed. The research scale used is the Likert Scale. Instrument trials use validity and reliability tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis, path analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that there is an influence of family business on entrepreneurial motivation. There is an influence of family business on entrepreneurial intention. There is an influence of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial intention. There is the influence of family business on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial motivation

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine (1) the description of the celebrity endorse variable, brand image, and purchasing decisions; (2) The direct effect of celebrity endorsement on a brand image; (3) The direct effect of brand image on purchasing decisions (4) The direct influence of celebrity endorsements on purchasing decisions; and (5) the indirect effect of celebrity endorsement on purchasing decisions through the brand image on Awesam Malang Raya customers. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and explanatory research types. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire which is processed in the validity and reliability test with valid and reliable results. The research population is Malang Raya Awesam customers who decide to buy Awesam clothing products. and have seen endorser Selia Rahma. The sampling technique used a proportional random sampling technique. Calculation of the sample using the Slovin formula with a total of 90 respondents. The analysis used is Path Analysis. The prerequisite test is through the normality test with the results of the residuals being normally distributed and the linearity test with the results of the linear path equation. The results showed that the results of the descriptive analysis of celebrity endorsements and purchasing decisions were included in the good category, and the brand image was included in the good category. The results of path analysis show that (1) celebrity endorsement has a direct effect on brand image; (2) brand image has a direct effect on purchasing decisions; (3) celebrity endorsement has a direct effect on purchasing decisions, and (4) celebrity endorse does not indirectly affect purchasing decisions through the brand image on customers of Awesam store Malang Raya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family economics education, self-control, and individual modernity on consumptive behavior through financial literacy in undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Malang, class of 2020. This research is included in a quantitative approach using the explanatory method. Data collection used a questionnaire that was distributed to 291 students. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in the LISREL program. The results of the analysis test in this study indicate that family economic education, self-control, and individual modernity influence consumptive behavior through financial literacy.

Abstract

Employee performance is an essential factor for company success. Optimal employee performance will affect the company's development in producing good products. This study aims to determine the application of Talent Management to Employee Engagement and Employee Retention in Improving Employee Performance at PT XYZ Surabaya employees. This study's population was PT XYZ Surabaya employees, totaling 393 people. The sampling technique uses the slovin formula with an error tolerance of 5%, and the sample used in this study is 200 employees. The data analysis technique in this study is as follows PLS-SEM analysis using SmartPLS software. The results showed that: 1) Talent management has a positive and significant direct effect on employee engagement, 2) Talent management has a positive and significant direct effect on employee retention, 3) Talent management has a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance, 4) Employee engagement has no direct positive and significant effect on employee performance, 5) Employee retention has a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance, 6) Employee engagement has a positive and significant direct effect on employee retention, 7) Talent management has no direct effect on employee performance indirectly through employee engagement, and 8) Talent management influences employee performance indirectly through employee retention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase students' vocabulary through "make a match" and "number head together" techniques with the students of SMP Negeri 2 Langowan. The sample was composed of 25 first-grade students. This study is classified as "action research" because it is conducted in a cycle. The first grade students were taken as samples for this research. The instruments used to collect data consisted of a reflective journal, field notes, and tests. The data were analyzed in a way that triangulates the data sources. The result shows that with the application of the "make a match" technique in Cycle 1, only a very few students gained progress in vocabulary with a mean score of 5.52. By applying the "number head together" technique in Cycle 2, more students were able to understand and use vocabulary. It was shown in this cycle that there was some progress made by the students in acquiring reading competency, with the mean score of the test being 6.56. By applying the Make, a Match technique and the Number Heads Together technique in Cycle 3, most of the students made great progress, with a mean score of 8.04.

Abstract

Islam places great emphasis on education for every child. Children's education is very urgent, because in childhood a person experiences various kinds of intelligence development. To raise a child well requires a suitable model that has proven itself. There are many models of children's education in the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which can be used as a reference for children's education. The purpose of this paper is to examine the models of children's education contained in the hadith and the urgency of their current application. This type of research uses literature studies, based on literature studies it is known that many modern educational models were actually used by the Prophet Muhammad to educate children, including the value explanation technique model, the direct learning model, the inner work model, the learning while playing model. This can be used as a reference in parenting.

Abstract

The importance of this study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurship education and the perspective of e-commerce business communication on entrepreneurial intensity mediated by entrepreneur self-efficacy in students of the economics and business faculties of Surabaya State University. This research uses a type of descriptive quantitative research with path analysis to look for relationships in each variable. The number of samples was 303 students from a total population of 1253 students from the 2019-2021 class. The research findings reveal that entrepreneurial intentions are indirectly influenced by entrepreneurship education, which means that entrepreneur self-efficacy has succeeded in mediating entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial intensity of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. As for the e-commerce business perspective, it does not significantly influence the entrepreneurial intensity of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Negeri Surabaya

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to formulate an analysis of the competitiveness strategy of village-owned enterprises through the use of tourist objects. This study uses a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with several informants. The informants used in this study were 15 informants, consisting of village heads, BUMDesa managers, community leaders, and visitors. The analytical method used to formulate an analysis of BUMDesa's competitiveness strategy is SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat). Before carrying out this analysis stage, a data quality test is first carried out, namely a validity test and a reliability test.

Abstract

The Effectiveness of Village Fund Policy on Infrastructure Development in Baleendah Village, Bandung Regency. This study aims to find out how effective village fund policies are in infrastructure development. This study uses a phenomenological approach with an interpretive paradigm as the research umbrella, namely an approach that describes the conditions or object of research as it happened. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of village funds in infrastructure development in Baleendah Village is considered appropriate. The results obtained are the right implementation, the right target, the right policy and the right environment. With the existence of a village fund policy, the Baleendah community has received and enjoyed the benefits, namely the access of the Baleendah community in everyday life is easier, the implementation is precise, that the village government of Baleendah has carried out good cooperation with the community, the city/South Bandung regency government and the private sector. Right on target, that the development carried out is in accordance with the target in the APBDes. Environmentally appropriate, that the coordination carried out by the Baleendah Village government with the community and the South Bandung city/regency government has been good, and in the external environment the mass media policy has provided information regarding developments in Rompu Village.
