Abstract

 Chronic renal failure is a clinical condition characterized by an irreversible decline in renal function requiring hemodialysis therapy or kidney transplantation. Routine hemodialysis therapy for CRF patients is at risk of negatively affecting self-concept. Bibliotherapy of the Prophet Ayub story to increase the patient's understanding of himself, broaden his cultural horizons, and provide various emotional experiences is expected to increase a more positive self-concept. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of bibliotherapy of the Prophet Ayub story on the self-concept of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Sragen. Methods: This study is quasi-experimental (Quasi-experimental) with a pre-test and post-test design. The subjects of this study were 46 patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent hemodialysis at PKU Muhammadiyah Sragen Hospital. Data analysis used Paired T-test with a confidence level of 95%. Results: Bibliotherapy of the Prophet Ayub story influenced the self-concept of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Sragen. Conclusion: There is a positive effect of bibliotherapy of the Prophet Ayub story on the self-concept of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Abstract

Health is a prosperous condition in the form of physical, mental and social health that is free from disease. An effort to improve health is the PHBS program. The lowest percentage was in the city of Yogyakarta, namely 59.97%. The bad PHBS comes from school children. The problem that arises in school children is not using latrines (toileting) properly. Children who do not toilet and then detained can cause the child to wet the bed (enuresis) or defecate in their pants. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of health education on toileting on the knowledge, attitudes and independence of school age children. Method: This research method is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design (one group pretestposttest). Data were collected by means of a questionnaire and analyzed by Wilcoxon. Results: The results of Wilcoxon analysis showed that the p-value of the knowledge variable was 0.000 and 0.000, the attitude variable was 0.000 and 0.000 and the independence variable was 0.027 and 0.006. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of health education on toileting on the knowledge, attitudes and independence of school-age children at SDN Gedongtengen Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Postpartum depression is a common phenomenon and has the complexities which bringing on adverse consequence for mother, baby, and family. The reference of this research provides an overview of the various risk factors for postpartum depression. This research is aimed to identify various risk factors such as level of depression, postpartum type, husband’s support, baby weight, parity and number of children. Those factors can be the cause of postpartum. Women with postpartum depression who have the baby in low weight can be identified as the strongly predictor factor of postpartum depression cause. The method applied in this research is an observational research with cross sectional design which involving 75 postpartum mothers who having live babies. Data analysis is conducted by chi-square that presents the correlation of baby in low weight and the incidence of depression indicated on p value less than 0,05. Data are collected at once time. Result shows that there is a correlation of childbirth type, social support, baby weight, and parity toward the incidence of postpartum depression. This research provides a crucial reference about mother with postpartum depression that can be caused by the birth of low baby weigh. For further researchers, it can be an insight for analysis as the effort of baby and mother care in case to prevent the postpartum depression.

Abstract

Background: During the Covid-19 pandemic, all levels of education must use online learning. Therefore, childrens use gadgets and computers more for a long time, which is made myopia causes in children. The prevalence in Indonesia shows that 10% of 66 million school children (5-19 years old) suffer from refractive errors, namely myopia. While the prevalence of myopia in children Asia is more than 5%, and children in Asia have a higher prevalence in myopia cases of about 29%. Objective: To determine the effect of eye exercises on reducing myopia booming in children during online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in this study were 15 respondents. The instrument used is the Snellen chart. Results: The results of the paired t statictic test showed that the data before and after the eye exercises intervention showed that in the right eye the p value was 0.035 (α<0.05), while for the left eye the p value was 0.031 (α<0.05). Conclusion: This study concludes that there is an effect of giving eye exercises intervention on reducing myopia outcomes in children.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEfforts to prevent the spread and increase in the number of COVID-19 sufferers were the implementation protocol of. Many people do not consistently implement it. Compliance in protocol of COVID-19 was absolutely a prerequisite for breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19. This study aims to analyze knowledge with compliance in applying the protocols  of COVID-19 in SMP Negeri 4 Sukoharjo’s students. This research was a quantitative research with the type of correlation research. The population in this study were all students at SMP Negeri 4 Sukoharjo, totaling 766 students. The sample size were 50 students that used accidental sampling. The primary data source used the results of the questionnaire answers that have been tested for validity and reliability and the data analysis used Pearson Product Moment. The results of the statistical test showed p-value (<0.001)<0.05, which means that there was a significant relationship between knowledge and compliance in implementing protocols of  COVID-19.Keywords: knowledge; compliance; protocol of COVID-19

Abstract

Background: Many health programs have been launched by the government in reducing maternal and infant mortality. It should be re-examined that the health program will be successful if something is done that is preventive in nature and something very urgent needs to be considered, namely the decreased coverage of TT immunization in premarital. TT immunization before pregnancy really needs to be considered, which is one of the preventions before premarital couples enter the reproductive stage. This prevention program needs to be considered for the continuation of further reproductive health. The purpose of this study is to identify the determinant factors that affect the decline in TT immunization coverage in premarital.Method: the method used is a systematic review through the study of national online data studies through Google Scholar, Garuda Portal and international online data from Pubmed, Science Direct and Proquest from 2012-2021 with Keywords: TT immunization in women of childbearing age, preconception women, and premarital couples which is then carried out is selected based on the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, then an analysis is carried out on the team systematically and team discussions to facilitate understanding of the determinants of premarital tetanus toxoid immunization coverage.Results: Based on studies that have determined the coverage of TT immunization in the premarital, there are 3 aspects that need to be considered, namely (1) premarital perception of TT immunization, (2) policies in providing TT immunization in premarital and (3) screening in premarital examination.Conclusion: Found factors that influence from several studies, namely education, knowledge, health services, social economy, health insurance services, ease of information, premarital screening programs as a determinant of the existence of TT immunization coverage in premarital.

Abstract

Hormonal contraceptives, especially injectable and oral contraceptives, are most widely used by the community, this is because they are easy and affordable to use. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between the duration of hormonal contraceptive use and weight gain in hormonal family planning (KB) acceptors. This study uses observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all hormonal family planning acceptors in Sidoarjo District, Sragen Regency who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of samples in this study were 32 respondents who were taken using a consecutive sampling technique. The statistical test used in this study is the Independent T test. The results showed that the average use of hormonal contraception was 86.1 (52.10) months. most of the respondents did not experience an increase in body weight 81.3%,. The results of the statistical test showed a p value of 0.908, which means that there was no difference in the duration of the use of hormonal contraception for family planning acceptors with weight gain.

Abstract

Background: Sport is an activity that has a positive effect on an individual. DOMS occurs when a person starts exercising after a long period of inactivity and results from an increase in the load and intensity of the exercise. DOMS is characterized by the onset of muscle soreness after exercise. Any type of activity that places an unusual load on the muscles can cause DOMS.Objective: to determine the existence of active recovery and passive recovery in reducing DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness).Method: The study design in this research is a critical review. The data were obtained using several literature searches, namely Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Science Direct, Google scholar, pubmed, NCBI, Jane BiosemanticResults: based on 7 articles found, 3 articles said massage with the rolling massage technique had a significant effect on reducing doms symptoms, 2 articles said it was not effective, 1 article said aerobic exercise had an effect on preventing doms and 1 article said stretching was not effective

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the global health problems which can leads complications, include kidney failure, blindness, stroke and amputation of body parts. Problems and complications that arise in DM can lead to depression. Depression arises because it is influenced by many psychological factors, both directly and indirectly. Supportive group therapy is therapy that is openly used to express thoughts and emotions. Supportive group therapy conduct patient to exchange of experiences. This experiences are expected to change the behavior of DM patients through imitation or reinforcement provided by the patient's environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group activity therapy towars DM patients depression. This research is an experimental study without  control group in the Padi Mas group in Surakata. This study uses a questionnaire using the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). The research method uses univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi square test. The results showed that after group therapy there was a change in the depression condition but it was not significant, most of them still had moderate signs and symptoms of depression.

Abstract

Background: Ca mamae is a cancer with the highest incidence and mortality of women in Indonesia and the world. Infodatin (2019) found that in the Dharmais Hospital in 2018 breast cancer occupied 19.18%. At Dr. Moewardi Hospital, it was shown that during 2018 Ca mamae had the highest incidence of cancer. Objective: to determine the risk factors for Ca mamae in Dr. Moewardi Hospital. Methods: This study is a descriptive with a cross sectional approach with checklist instrument. Sampling with purposive sampling with as many as 82 people as subjects. Results: The study showed that 75 (91.5%) of 82 people suffering from Ca mamae factor were 40 years old, 61 (74.4%) had a family history of suffering from Ca mamae, consuming alcohol as much as 43 (52.4%). ), were obese by 46 (56.1%), and experienced exposure to cigarette smoke as much as 65 (79.3%). Conclusion: Most of Ca mamae patients aged 40 years, have a family history of Ca mamae, consume alcohol, are obese and experience exposure to cigarette smoke. Suggestion: The importance of providing health education to women, so that they can find out the characteristics of Ca mamae patients so that prevention can be done.
