Abstract

Community service activities are one of the university's tridharma activities that must be carried out by every lecturer, therefore lecturers of the Bengkulu University Master of Science Program in collaboration with teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Kepahiang, Bengkulu on March 31, 2022 have carried out Community Service activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Kepahiang, Bengkulu. This collaboration is in the form of community service activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Kepahiang, Bengkulu with the title "Line Follower Robot Demonstration and Simulation to Increase Students' Interest in Learning Science at Home at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Kepahiang, Bengkulu. From these activities it can be concluded that; Robotics material delivered using interactive multimedia which includes lectures, virtual demos, animations, visualizations, and simulations as well as videos has proven to be successful in motivating students to care more about science in the motivated/cared category with a score of 3.85 on a scale of 1 -5.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pengenalan dan pemahaman tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan memberikan bimbingan teknis tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Khalayak sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para guru SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan Guru dan Kepala SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan LPPM Universitas Bengkulu sebagai Lembaga yang senantiasa melakukan berbagai program pengabdian masyarakat guna menjalin kerjasama yang baik antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat serta memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pengabdian dengan kegiatan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat yang ada di lingkungan Provinsi Bengkulu. Rancangan evaluasi dengan melihat partisipasi peserta (guru) yang terlibat dalam kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir program pengabdian masyarakat dan dengan melihat berapa banyak Perangkat Pembelajaran yang bisa dihasilkan. Selain itu, evaluasi juga dilakukan dengan melihat keberlanjutan kegiatan Implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning setelah program pengabdian berakhir, apakah masih berlanjut atau tidak. Pelatihan yang dilakukan di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara tentang pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning mendapatkan respon yang baik dan keberlanjutan kerjasama akan terus dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam mempergunakan Teknologi Informasi khususnya menggunakan program 3D flip Profesional dalam membantu pembelajaran IPA khususnya pada siswa SMPN 11 KOTA BENGKULU sehingga dapat memotivasi guru-guru IPA dalam menggunakan inovasi pembelajaran terkini. Sasaran utama pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah guru guru IPA di lingkungan SMPN 11 Kota bengkulu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, dan pelatihan. Materi pelatihan dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan langsung, diskusi dan melalui buku yang disertai video tutorial sehingga diharapkan guru-guru dapat mudah untuk memahami tentang cara penggunaan program 3D flip Profesional dalam pembuatan Modul elektronik berupa media interaktif IPA. Kegiatan dimulai dengan observasi lapangan sampai kepada pencarian informasi pendukung kelayakan program. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat tentang pelatihan Pembuatan Modul Elektronik menggunakan 3D flip profesional di SMP 11 Kota Bengkulu ini telah mampu memberikan wawasan kepada guru guru fisika tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembuatan bahan ajar elektronik. Kegiatan ini juga telah memberikan motivasi kepada guru guru untuk lebih meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam membuat bahan bahan ajar yang lebih menarik dan inovatif.

Abstract

Kemajuan sektor pariwisata di Desa Rindu Hati Bengkulu Tengah belum optimal. Salah satu faktor permasalahan adalah kurangnya promosi untuk memperkenalkan potensi wisata yang dimiliki. Pengelola objek wisata Desa Rindu Hati tidak memiliki keterampilan yang memadai tentang penggunaan media promosi secara online seperti website dan youtube. Media online merupakan sarana promosi yang handal untuk menjangkau calon wisatawan secara global. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalterapkan website dan youtube sebagai media promosi kepada kelompok pengelola wisata di Desa Rindu Hati. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam mendesain dan mengelola website dan konten youtube untuk mempromosikan potensi wisata. Melalui kegiatan ini telah dihasilkan 6 orang pengelola wisata yang memiliki keterampilan dalam promosi wisata secara online melalui website dan youtube. Kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang cukup signifikan dalam meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi dosen Universitas Muhammdiyah Bengkulu (UMB) dalam mengelola pembelajaran secara daring dan blended learning Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah seluruh dosen dilingkungan UMB. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, dan pelatihan. Materi pelatihan dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan langsung, diskusi dan melalui buku yang disertai video tutorial sehingga diharapkan guru-guru dapat mudah untuk memahami tentang cara mengelola pembelajaran elearning dengan model blended learning. Kegiatan dimulai dengan observasi lapangan sampai kepada pencarian informasi pendukung kelayakan program. Kegiatan workshop elearning dan blended learning difasilitasi oleh LPMPP UMB dan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4-5 Desember 2019 bertempat di Gedung Ahmad Dahlan kampus 14 Universitas Muhamadiyah Bengkulu. Kegiatan ini dihadiri kurang lebih 100 dosen UMB yang mewakili masing masing fakultas di UMB. Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kamampuan dosen dalam pengelolaan elearning dan blended learning di UMB.

Abstract

The handling of the covid-19 outbreak is carried out by all Christians in the world by carrying out virtual worship, every activity within the scope of the Javanese Christian Church  Mojosongo in particular many were suspended temporarily and some were not carried out at all. Activities such as household worship, youth worship and even Sunday Schools are also carried out in groups to achieve the goal of breaking the chain of spread of COVID-19. The church has limited multimedia equipment to support all online activities. Limited Human Resources who master multimedia and video editing in producing short videos such as MATAHARI (MAzmur kiTA HAri Ini) which must be published every day, and others. To overcome the existing problems, it is necessary to explain and train about the implementation of virtual worship and live streaming. Training is needed on the implementation of taping activities and doing video editing so that all activities can be carried out properly. For this reason, training is needed on how to tap properly and correctly and how to do video editing with the Power Director and other tools so that the congregation can enjoy it well.

Abstract

The targets of this community service activity are:community, especially the elderly.The location for the activity was held at the Panti Sosial Tresna Werda (PSTW) Bengkulu City. PSTW is a residential institution that provides physical, spiritual and social services and care as well as protection for the elderly so that they can enjoy old age like other elderly people. Group activity therapy as an effort to prevent frailty in the elderly has many benefits as one of the most effective interventions to be used in medical therapy for healing a disease that can be applied to the community as therapy, one of which is in the elderly so that the elderly avoid frailty which will affect the elderly. quality of life of the elderly.The hope is that after this activity is carried outcan help social workers and health workers who are in PSTW to improve the welfare of the elderly and prevent the occurrence of frailty in the elderly so that their functional health can be maintained and improve the quality of life of the elderly.

Abstract

The purpose of this PPM is to 1) increase the knowledge of the head of SMK about the concept of school program evaluation design, 2) improve the ability of the principal in preparing the evaluation design of the school program. The training method (workshop) is carried out in three stages. The first stage provides material on program evaluation concepts, program evaluation models, and program evaluation designs. the second stage is the practice of preparing program evaluation instruments, the third stage is the practice of designing program evaluation designs. The data was collected using performance tests and the data were analyzed using the percentage technique. The results of community service principals have the knowledge and skills to develop program evaluation designs properly. This means that there is an increase in the ability of school principals in preparing program evaluation designs

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PPM) which was carried out aims to assist SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu City in compiling an IASP 2020-based accreditation form. In 2022, reaccreditation will be carried out. Based on the results of interviews with school principals and teachers, the school accreditation preparation team did not fully understand the 2020 IASP, the deadline for preparation for accreditation in the near future, insufficient physical evidence, incomplete accreditation guidelines, schools did not have time to conduct self-evaluations and lack of coordination. and communication between individuals and teams. Based on this, it is necessary to carry out assistance activities in preparation for accreditation. The method used is discussion and question and answer. The subject of this community service is the team that composes the accreditation form for SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu City. This activity has been carried out for 4 meetings, which include the socialization of IASP 2020, filling out accreditation forms, presenting the results of filling out forms, and evaluating forms. During this service activity, all teams have carried out the form preparation activities well. The result of this service activity is that SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu City has completed all components of the accreditation form and met the internal quality standard values.

Abstract

Limited training through e-education aims to improve the competence of school principals in the work consultations for principals of SMP and Mts Bengkulu City. The target audience for this service is the Principals of the Bengkulu City Middle School and MTs who are members of the School Principal Working Consultation as many as 18 people. The implementation method is carried out by three methods namely training, orientation, and practice. This Principal Strengthening Training uses the MOOCs-based E-Training system. The training referred to here consists of activities providing orientation on what teachers need in order to improve the competence of school principals in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education. Limited Training Through E-Training to improve the competence of school principals at the Bengkulu City Junior High School Headmaster's Working Meeting is the right activity and is very in line with current learning needs. This training has been well implemented and received a positive response from the trainees.
