<![CDATA[Purpose: The purpose of this dedication is to train and prepare teenagers to have notation reading skills and understand basic notation. Research Methodology: This dedication was carried out by 1 trainer and followed by 10 teenaders who became participant/partner. On the process, this mentoring and training method is carried out by means of lectures, simulations, questions and answers, and exercises. Result: The results of this service activity have resulted in backing vocal services that have qualified abilities ranging from 80%. This can be seen when the participants/partners can read and understand the song notation well. Limitations: The limitation in this dedications is the lack of human resources from trainers. Ideally, mentoring and trainong of basic notation requires two trainers, because if one trainer is absent, the other trainer can still provide mentoring and training. Contribution: This activity make a good contribution to the church GPT “MARANATHA” Penda Pilang – Tumbang Manyangan villages, and was very effective among teenagers to foster the interests and talents of each participant/partner.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: To provide understanding and ability in managing finances to MSME entrepreneurs. Methodology/approach: The method of activity used are (1) counselling and training methods on financial management, where counselling with prepared materials as well as training and direct question and answer sessions during training will be able to make the community able to understand the concept of financial management, (2) assist partners in the process of financial management through good and neat financial records, so that partners can stop excessive spending. The participants for this training are MSME entrepreneurs who are members of Dewan UMKM Indonesia Terpadu (DUIT) Kedoya, West Jakarta. Most of its members are business owners with micro and small-scale businesses. Results/findings: (1) Participants have understood the importance of financial management and are able to manage business finances through good financial records, (2) Participants understand and are able to record financial transactions neatly and according to accounting standards, and (3) Participants have understood and are able to make financial reports as the basis of information for financial management. Conclusion: So far, the income statement is still limited to a report that compares the difference between income and expenses, without separating the nature of the expenditure whether it is an expense or an asset and other accounting provisions that need to be considered by MSME entrepreneurs. Participants need an understanding of the preparation of financial reports in accordance with SAK EMKM, namely income statement, statements of financial position, and notes to financial statements.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: This study aims to share information, teach, and repeat learning about the five human senses to 23 children aged 11-15 years in Lubuk Pandan Village. Research Methods: This research method uses various digital-based media such as Google, WhatsApp and Youtube to collect and share information with children and uses Google Forms to provide pre-test and post-test in measuring the level of success in delivering material. Result: The results of both tests showed that most children experienced an increase in scores on the post-test, although there were some children who experienced a decrease in the post-test. This can be proven by the average score which has increased from 57.61 in the pre-test to 82.17 at the post-test. So these results show that digital media is able to improve children's literacy and understanding of the learning that has been delivered. Limitations: The limitation in this study is that it is difficult to be interactive between researchers and children due to various obstacles, one of which is due to the limited schedule of using cellphones by parents. Contribution: This research contributes to children to help them to know and learn and repeat the lessons of the five senses that have been learned in school.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: A community service activity related to technical assistance in the implementation of his ANBK for SD Negeri 05 Palembang students was conducted due to limited resources and required equipment. Research Methods: This activity has three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Preparations were made by conducting final coordination and site condition surveys to prepare resources and supporting equipment for conducting ANBK 2021 at SD Negeri 05 Palembang. The implementation activities were carried out using the method of technical assistance namely, Pusmenjar's simulation of its ANBK using CAT AKMBK and technical assistance in the implementation of ANBK. Evaluation is performed at each stage by collecting and summarizing data from each stage of the activity. Result: The results of this service are the participants feel prepared and comfortable during the ANBK exam and the school (SDN 05 Palembang) can administer the ANBK independently without relying on another school. Limitations: Many of the students are not fluent in reading and have just interacted with digital devices such as laptops, smartphones, and similar applications. Contribution: It is hoped that the school will be ready to face the ANBK exams for the coming year.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: Assisting farmers in monitoring remotely the quality of agricultural land for rice crops in Sidorejo Village, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. As well as farmers and the agriculture office can determine the composition of the fertilizer given to suit their rice plants. Method: The installed soil pH sensor will read the soil pH value for rice plants in the form of voltage, then the data from the voltage is processed by Arduino Nano and sent to the internet cloud using the SIM800L module. Result: With a soil pH value of 2.79, it will produce 800 kg of grain from an area of ??600 m2, while a soil pH value of 3.41 will also produce 500-600 kg of grain from an area of ??350 m2. Conclusion: The application of a soil quality monitoring system for rice plants in Siderejo Village, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta has been successfully implemented with an average control speed of 5,11-6,8 second, and the data can be accessed by farmers using mobile phones.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: The purpose of the community service done is to develop the online marketing of building materials stores owned by Artha Jaya Village-Owned Enterprises or commonly known as BUMDes Artha Jaya so that the manager of BUMDes can still increase sales during pandemic through online sales like social media Methodology/approach: The implementation of the activity used a participatory approach through a direct approach by involving BUMDes in carrying out the stages of activities consisting of preparation and implementation. In each of these activities, BUMDes and the service team carried out and compiled digital marketing of social media and e-commerce. Results/findings: The development of digital marketing in BUMDes Artha Jaya only appeared in certain types of digital marketing, namely social media marketing through the Whatsapp application and content marketing, therefore by carrying out digital marketing at BUMDes Artha Jaya accompanied by training on BUMDes administrators could assist BUMDes in promoting their business. Conclusion: BUMDes should have felt the advantage of existing marketing, because digital marketing is very efficient for businesses. Then, with the development of digital marketing, it would make the business run better.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: Provide knowledge and skills to employees to be able to analyze and evaluate increased commitment and performance based on employee competency management at the Kupang City Government Secretariat.. Methodology: This PkM implementation method uses lecture and training techniques, which are generally known as focus group discussions (FGD) and workshops. Activity partners are determined by purposive sampling technique (deliberately) based on the organizational structure of the Kupang City Government which is at the Echelon II level (Department/Agency), which consists of 28 SKPD (Badan/Department). Based on this, the participants are determined by quota sampling technique, namely, the PkM activity participants are the direct leaders of the organization with the rank/position/class of Echelon II, the Heads of Service, and Heads of the Agency. Thus the participants who took part in this PkM activity were 28 participants. Results: The results of PkM activities were evaluated using a SWOT analysis tool, where participants were asked to formulate organizational conditions based on the internal environment (strengths and weaknesses) and the external environment (opportunities and threats) based on the knowledge management presented by the resource persons. Then, a solution strategy concept was developed based on the SWOT matrix. Contribution: This training can increase the knowledge and skills of employees in analyzing and evaluating employee commitment and performance from the aspect of motivation using the SWOT analysis method.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: This service activity aims to provide new insights and knowledge for Jayamukti villagers, especially housewives in processing used cooking oil waste into laundry soap so that it is not disposed of directly and pollutes the environment. Methodology: This service activity includes four stages, namely planning, coordination, socialization of making laundry soap, evaluation of the results of the service. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using Microsoft Excel to calculate the percentage of participant satisfaction Results: The results of the community service activities show that 85.71% of residents are very interested in washing soap from used cooking oil, as much as 91.43% of residents will collect used cooking oil and make laundry soap from used cooking oil, as much as 74.29% of residents are interested in innovating so they can selling washing soap from used cooking oil and as many as 85.71% of residents stated that they were satisfied with the socialization and mentoring activities for making laundry soap from used cooking oil that had been carried out. This shows that the service activities that have been carried out are very beneficial for residents, especially PKK women because they can create productive activities that can increase income. Conclusion: The socialization activities that have been carried out are very beneficial for residents, especially PKK women because they can create productive activities that can increase income. This is shown by the high interest of residents in being able to collect used cooking oil and process it into laundry soap and are very interested in innovating so they can sell washing soap from used cooking oil.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: Bamboo is an economic potential that is not only derived from the bamboo product itself but can also be expanded into an attractive natural tourist spot. Unfortunately, the potential of bamboo as a product is often focused on the functional and forgets the unique creations for the product that can increase the value of the product itself. The training conducted between Pelita Harapan University and Bamboo Community Dunia Bambu Sejahtera (DBS) aims to provide understanding and knowledge related to creative bamboo designs to meet the market for hotel and culinary amenities. Methodology/approach: The training is done by dividing the group. Each group is taught various bamboo creations. During the training, participants were also given the opportunity to discuss about bamboo and the potential for creative creations that can be made to attract market attention. Results/findings: Training participants gain additional knowledge about bamboo and its unique and creative bamboo creations. The results of the evaluation before and after the training showed that the participants felt that they had gained knowledge that could be integrated into making bamboo crafts. Conclusion: With this training, it is hoped that the craftsmen can improve their weaving skills which in turn will have an impact on increasing product sales and the income of the craftsmen themselves]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose: This community service activity aims to improve and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the surrounding community by providing an understanding of entrepreneurship, marketing and the preparation of financial reports. Methodology: The method for implementing community service activities is carried out in several stages. The first stage is the preparatory stage through observation and material preparation. The second stage is the implementation of activities in the form of technical guidance which is carried out by presenting material, practice of preparing financial reports and discussions. The third stage is an evaluation that aims to accommodate the problems faced by participants in compiling financial reports independently. Results: The results of community service for dombos breeders (Wonosobo sheep) participants understood how to prepare small and medium enterprises financial reports and began to have entrepreneurial and marketing knowledge. This is a good start to develop dombos farming in Wonosobo. The training went well and received a good response from the participants. Conclusion: This community service activity had a positive impact because participants ultimately had the skills and knowledge of digital marketing management and the preparation of financial reports. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that breeders can apply the knowledge they have acquired to develop the dombos business.]]>
