Abstract

Purpose: Training on the Use of Sales Platforms in Improving Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Performance in Kecamatan Ilir Barat II, Palembang City is provided for entrepreneurs to understand the best marketing techniques through a digital context. Methodology: Entrepreneurs are equipped with the ability to learn, understand and choose the type of sales platform that helps their business grow. The Participants were provided with knowledge through lecture and presentation methods after which MSME assistance was provided after the training. Results: The training provided to entrepreneurs, especially in Kecamatan Ilir Barat II, Palembang City has a significant impact on market expansion in the future. Conclusions: The Sales Platform can be used for any type of business, whether small or large companies. Limitations: The limitations of the operator network are an obstacle in the process of implementing the community service. In addition, the different levels of participants' ability to absorb the training material. Contribution: The community service is related to marketing management science, especially promotion

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity is aimed to optimalize the processing of fresh catfish and increase the knowledge, understanding, and ability of participants regarding the processing of catfish floss without oil as an alternative processing of fresh catfish, also obtain healthier fish floss. Methodology: This activities carried out through several stages, starts from the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The method used is to provide some theory and practice online using Zoom Meeting. Catfish floss without oil is processed with several stages such as fish preparation, steaming, mashing, and roasting. Results: Participants know in theory the benefits, handling, and diversification of processed catfish, especially fish floss without oil. Participans can also practice directly processing fish floss without oil, thus creating opportunities for a home industry that specifically processes catfish cultivation in Buyut Ilir village. The processed products produced are expected to increase the consumption and economic conditions, especially Buyut Ilir village. Conclusion: Participants know in theory the benefits, handling, and diversification of processed catfish, especially fish floss without oil. Participants also practiced directly processing of fish floss without oil, thus creating opportunities for a home industry that specifically processes catfish cultivation in Buyut Ilir village. This community service activity also has increased the knowledge, understanding, and ability of participants regarding the processing of catfish floss without using oil as an alternative processing of fresh catfish and make healthier catfish floss.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to improve the economy of MSME actors and make them more knowledgeable about technology for their businesses. Methodology: The implementation of activities, the approach used in this activity is through surveys, interviews, and capacity building. Results: The results of community service can be in the form of solving problems faced by the community by utilizing the expertise of the relevant academic community. With three stages of implementation, namely the pre-activity stage, the activity implementation stage and the post-activity stage, it can be concluded that: (1) UMKM Mushroom Crispy Mak Rin already have a good record of income and expenses and are able to record all transactions smoothly; (2) UMKM Mushroom Crispy Mak Rin are finally able to operate shopee well, and they now have several orders through the Shopee application, and their offline orders are also increasing. Even an increase of about 50-90% compared to before participating in mentoring; (3) UMKM Mushroom Crispy Mak Rin initially only used ordinary clear plastic and makeshift labels for their products, but after providing assistance with students they now have attractive labels and packaging; and UMKM Mushroom Crispy Mak Rin got new insights about things they didn't know, and they got new insights on how to make their businesses grow. Limitations: Time is too short and coincides with many activities that occur in August. Contribution: In the student environment, the scope of SMEs and the scope of the university.

Abstract

Purpose: The achievement indicator in this community service program is the realization of independence in providing the ability of farmer households in processing papaya raw materials into papaya dodol as a characteristic of souvenirs from the Mojosongo Boyolali sub-district. The purpose of this service program is with this socialization and training to educate the public by utilizing the papaya fruit harvest, in this case the selected papaya is mojosongo so that it has added value, not only selling the fruit but also being processed into papaya dodol. Method: Methods of implementing activities include training and education socialization program for making papaya dodol for farmers' households. This community service program aims to transfer knowledge through community empowerment by socializing training and education on making papaya dodol. The activity began with the socialization of the benefits of papaya fruit training and the procedures for making papaya fruit dodol The next activity is education about making papaya fruit dodol. Result: The results of this activity the community was able to make dodol from the raw material of papaya mojosongo and benefited the community, especially in the Kemiri Village, Mojosongo Village, Boyolali Regency with the opening of business opportunities for making papaya dodol. Conclusion This community service activity is to transfer knowledge through community empowerment by socializing training and education on making papaya dodol in the Kemiri Village, Mojosongo Village, Boyolali Regency.

Abstract

Purpose: This activity aims to assistance to MSMEs in developing business capacity in the form of standardized financial reports. Methodology: The implementation of this activity is divided into three stages, mapping conditions, implementing activities, and strengthening business capacity. Interview and observation methods are used to identify partners' problems in developing businesses. Results: Through this community service, MSME partners better understand the importance of good financial reports. MSME partners conclude that the SME Accounting Application is easy to use to prepare simple financial reports, recording financial transaction data can be done practically through the application, and financial reports recorded in the SME Accounting application are more accurate and can minimize errors. We also advise MSME partners to improve product displays to make them more attractive to buyers. Conclusion: The knowledge of MSME in preparing financial reports according to standards increased and the SME Accounting Application is easy to use to prepare simple financial reports.

Abstract

Purpose: This activity is intended to introduce coffee processing techniques into coffee candy by way of counseling, training and mentoring to the coffee farmer groups in Sungai Penuh City, Jambi. Methodology: The stages of this activity include counseling, training, production demonstrations, and business assistance. Coffee candy is made by boiling a mixture of coffee extract, sucrose and glucose at a ratio of 13:8:6 until it boils. After the mixture thickens, reduce the stove heat until the temperature of the mixture is no more than 1100C. After crystallization is complete, the mixture is put into the mold, cooled, then the coffee candy is removed from the mold, wrapped in plastic and packaged. Result: Counseling, training, mentoring, and technical guidance on how to process ground coffee into coffee candy have succeeded in creating a new source of income for the people of Sungai Ning Village, Sungai Bungkal District, Sungai Penuh City, Jambi. Conclusion: Through this activity, the village community has been able to apply coffee candy manufacturing technology as an effort to diversify their processed coffee products, coffee candy has now become their mainstay commodity, and several assisted farmer groups have now started producing coffee candy and marketing their products at every opportunity.

Abstract

Purpose: To ensure the safety and health of tourists. They also play a role in maintaining the security of tourists in the area. In addition, the accompanying medical team can also provide health services such as light health checks, simple medical procedures, and providing health information to tourists. Methodology: The target is foreign students who are on holiday in Bromo, with the criteria of students taking comparative studies at Malang State University and attending Malang. This will make it easier for the medical team to provide emergency medical care if there are tourists who need it. This aims to monitor the health of tourists and provide first aid if there are tourists who need it. Must-have medical equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen, resuscitation equipment, and so on. This can include how to manage common health symptoms and steps to prevent disease. Results: Several cases were encountered in the health assistance, namely: bruises (contusions), cramps and bleeding. Overall tourists can return to health and return from Bromo without any comorbidities. Conclusion: Traveling to the mountains can cause serious injury if proper precautions are not taken. In addition, it is important to follow the guidelines given by experienced climbers, avoid trails that are too dangerous, and not take excessive risks when doing activities on the mountain. With proper preparation and wise precautions, we can reduce the risk of injury and enjoy a safe and enjoyable mountain travel experience.

Abstract

Purpose: The students of MA Islahul Amanah are the next generation of the nation who must take their steps to reach the future. Most of them have constraints in terms of costs to continue on to higher education. Thus, a motivation or direction is needed for MA Ishlahul Amanah students about entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is the right alternative choice to overcome unemployment. This is to encourage them to be more independent after completing their school education. At least they are not a burden to their parents, but can help their family's economy Methodology/approach: The methods used are: (1) condition survey; (2) team conciliation to discuss the activities carried out; (3) preparation to determine the implementation time and equipment to be prepared; (4) implementing activities by conducting online entrepreneurship training; (5) evaluation of activities to measure the achievement of activities with a questionnaire. Results/findings: Participants receive tips on building start-ups, namely innovating business ideas, creating business models, raising capital, inviting like-minded people to maintain service/product quality and "don't give up". Apart from that, they also gain knowledge and experience related to what the speaker has experienced because the material provided is also based on their own experience. This activity was also well achieved based on the results of the questionnaire which achieved an average percentage of agreeing is 77.33% and the percentage strongly agreeing is 20%. Conclusion: Community Service Activities with activities in the form of entrepreneurship training to increase interest in entrepreneurship for MA Ishlahul Amanah students run smoothly and goals are achieved. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, the participants chose to agree and strongly agree with the program being carried out because it met the needs of the participants.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity is aimed to increasing sales of food products through e-commerce platforms which will expand the marketing network and increase groups income. Methodology: This community service activity was done at Kelompok Tani Mandiri, Subdistrict Ilir Barat. These activities carried out through several stages. First, preparation, dan second step was implementation. Participants were socialized and invited to create social own media accounts and made design promotion using canva. Then all of participants were accompanied as the implementatio of socialization. The last step of community service activity was evaluation of program. Results: Participant knew that sales through online media have more advantages than offline media, by using e-commerce. Participants have own social media and could make promotion using graphic design by canva then upload those promotion using their social media. Conclusion: marketplace was one way that could help increased the marketing of service participants by disseminating sales information through social media accounts.

Abstract

Purpose: The well-being of the elderly can be reflected in their health condition, both physically, spiritually and socially which enables everyone to live productively socially and economically. Modern lifestyles have changed human attitudes and behavior, including diet, smoking, consumption of alcohol and drugs as a lifestyle so that people with degenerative diseases (diseases caused by decreased organ function) are increasing and life threatening. The purpose of this community service is in the form of weight screening in the elderly. Methodology: The method used is measurement and examination as well as providing education. Methods for measuring body weight and conducting counseling about healthy lifestyles for the elderly in Tlogomas Village. Results: The results of the screening conducted, of the 55 participants who took part in the examination, found 29 normal people, 11 people had problems related to weight with obesity, and 15 people had problems less than normal. Conclusions: This Community Service Program runs smoothly and can provide benefits to the community. The results of this Community Service Program can be used as a reference for improving the health status of the elderly. Limitations: The area for community service is limited to the Tlogomas area. Contribution: This research is useful for the elderly in improving a healthy lifestyle in the gerontological area.
