Abstract

Abstract The implementation of PKM was motivated by the low understanding of teachers regarding income tax and teachers did not know how to fill out and report the Annual Income Tax Return for Individual Taxpayers using e-Filing. To overcome these problems, various solutions can be carried out. One solution that can be provided is to conduct an Online Annual Tax Return Filling Training for Teachers of SMP Negeri 17 Kupang. The results achieved from the implementation of the PKM include 1) There is an increase in teachers' understanding of Income Tax, 2) Teachers are able to fill out and report the Annual Income Tax Return for Individual Taxpayers by using e-Filing. Keywords: Annual SPT, Income Tax, Taxpayers, E-filing Abstrak Pelaksanaan PKM dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman guru-guru mengenai pajak penghasilan dan Guru tidak tahu cara mengisi dan melaporkan SPT Tahunan PPh Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi dengan menggunakan e-Filing. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka dapat dilakukan berbagai pemecahan masalah. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah melakukan sebuah Pelatihan Pengisian SPT Tahunan Online Bagi Guru-Guru SMP Negeri 17 Kupang. Hasil yang dicapai dari pelaksanaan PKM antara lain: 1)Adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru mengenai Pajak Penghasilan, 2)Guru mampu mengisi dan melaporkan SPT Tahunan PPh Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi dengan menggunakan e-Filing. Abstract

Telah dilaksanakan pelatihan dalam Pengelolaan Software Mendeley Sebagai Reference Tool dan Sitasi pada Artikel Ilmiah pada tanggal 24 Juli 2022. Bentuk kegiatan pelatihan sebagai solusi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan PKM ini pelaksanaannya dirancang secara online melalui zoom meeting ID 947 8135 7262 meliputi beberapa tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Sedangkan berdasarkan permasalahan mitra yang dipetakan, maka diperoleh 4 poin utama yang dapat dijadikan solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra. Empat poin tersebut dijadikan materi yang akan disajikan pada kegiatan pelatihan tersebut yaitu: 1)Menulis sebagai suatu proses; 2)Etika dan Konsep Sitasi dalam Artikel Ilmiah; 3)Definisi Mendeley dan Kegunaannya sebagai salah satu aplikasi untuk membantu sitasi dan pengaturan referensi;4)Tutorial/praktik penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley dalam karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan dengan metode berupa metode ceramah oleh para pemateri dengan menggunakan powerpoint, demonstrasi oleh para pemateri, latihan/prakik oleh para peserta pelatihan, pendampingan terhadap para peserta pelatihan, dan tanya jawab dengan pemateri dari Tim PKM.

Abstract

The problems in learning chemistry faced by teachers at school include: (1) how to visualize chemical molecular structures that are still manual, namely drawing on whiteboards or sometimes with the Microsoft Word program which is familiar to most students will give results that are not in accordance with the rules of writing symbols; (2) the aspect of the teacher's and students' lack of insight regarding the Chemsketch software for drawing chemical molecular structures; and (3) aspects of students' enthusiasm and interest in self-development which are still limited. Of all the problems faced by partners, the solution offered is a Chemical Molecule Visualization Training activity with Chemsketch Software for High School Students in Kupang City, NTT. With this training, students are expected to have knowledge and skills in using Chemsketch Software in drawing chemical molecular structures and attracting students' learning interest and arousing students' curiosity through observing the material displayed through visualization of chemical molecular shapes.

Abstract

The freedom to learning curriculum is a catalyst for transformation and acceleration efforts in improving the quality of early childhood education. The concept of independent learning and independent play is the design of learning activities that are able to develop the child's development phase as a whole. However, in reality school principals and teachers still experience difficulties in implementing the independent curriculum in the phonation phase (PAUD). This workshop activity was carried out for all partners in the East Sumba and Central Sumba district drive school programs, totaling 6 units. This workshop activity aims to train principals and teachers regarding the flow of implementing the independent learning curriculum. Through workshop activities, the entire ecosystem is able to understand the curriculum, both substance and technique. The method used in this workshop is through a preliminary study, method identification stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The independent learning curriculum contains learning outcomes (CP), learning objectives (CP), learning objectives flow (ATP) and teaching models. Through this workshop activity, the entire ecosystem of partner schools for the driving school program is able to understand and implement it in learning activities.

Abstract

Realizing the importance of English in this modern era, the community service team has developed a learning program in a practical and interesting way that in learning English. Working with religious institutions was one of the methods to support government programs. The program was held in Letbaun Village, Semau District in Kupang Regency. The problem for most Sunday school children in this area was their lack of interest in learning English and limited access to telecommunication networks, so they were more guided by manual learning resources or textbooks. The underlying thing was the lack of vocabulary and grammar in English. The team conducted practical, creative, and fun English learning materials and videos to attract interest in learning English. The book was equipped with pictures and vocabulary relating to general English materials such as greetings, self-introduction, parts of the body, and names of days and months, also provided some Bible-themed materials (God’s creation, the ten plagues in Egypt, the Lord's Prayer in English, the name of the books in English). The book was provided with the aims, directions for Sunday School Teachers, and exercises. There were still several things that have not been achieved such as evaluation of learning outcomes. To complete this activity, the team planned an evaluation to be carried out in the coming semesters regarding the use of products.Keywords : bible-themed, community service, grammar, Sunday school, vocabulary

Abstract

Kegiatan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui karya sastra pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia Universitas Nusa Cendana ini bertujuan menumbuhkembangkan kembali pendidikan karakter kepada para mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan guna membentuk individu yang memiliki moralitas positif. Para mahasiswa sebagai peserta kegiatan ini, disuguhkan sajian sastra yang dapat meningkatkan jiwa spiritualitas, semangat nasionalisme, cinta tanah, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan sebagainya. Pemanfaatan karya sastra mampu memperluas wawasan, memperhalus budi pekerti, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Kegiatan ini penting dilakukan, guna menyiapkan mental dan karakter mahasiswa untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran tatap muka lebih optimal. Tingkat ketercapaian dari kegiatan penguatan pendidikan karakter ini tampak pada perubahan sikap dan perilaku setiap peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Mahasiswa yang menjadi peserta dalam kegiatan ini akan mampu menjadi seseorang yang memiliki kepribadian yang memiliki sikap religius, jiwa nasionalis, dan kemandirian yang baik.

Abstract

The development and changes in the global world are so fast, human resources play an important role in dealing with the changes that occur. If human resources are less qualified and do not have global competitiveness, then of course we will be far behind other nations. Quality human resources and good competitiveness are of course a must for everyone. The results of the PISA survey show that the ranking of Indonesian students' numeracy literacy skills is still at the bottom. In line with the findings in the field and the results of interviews with the head of SDN Fatupisa regarding the numeracy literacy skills of students there are still lacking. This activity aims to improve students' ability in terms of numeracy literacy. The method used is lectures using PowerPoint and question and answer discussions. It was concluded that the response and enthusiasm of the students and teachers at SDN Fatupisa was very good. The results of discussions and questions and answers conducted by resource persons and school members found that most students did not fully understand literacy and numeracy. Then the teachers also become more knowledgeable and have solutions to solving problems at SDN Fatupisa about numeracy literacy.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang menghambat guru dalam mengusulkan kenaikan pangkat adalah publikasi karya ilmiah. Hal yang sama terjadi pada guru-guru di Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Terkait dengan permasalahan tersebut, maka kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini sangat penting dilakukan untuk membantu para guru dalam melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan publikasi hasil penelitian PTK. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan sosialisasi dan pendampingan dalam penyusunan proposal, laporan PTK dan artikel. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru telah memahami PTK namun sebagian besar belum mampu untuk menghasilkan proposal PTK. Hanya 3 dari 29 peserta yang sudah mampu mebuat artikel ilmiah hasil PTK. Oleh jarena itu kegiatan ini perlu terus dilakukan untuk membantu para guru agar mereka dapat mengusulkan kenaikan pangkat dan lebih dari itu mereka memiliki kepekaan dalam membaca permasalahan dalam kelas serta mampu melakukan tindakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi.

Abstract

Elementary school education today, in the first decade of the 21st century, is faced with global challenges where people's life patterns change very quickly, triggered mainly by developments in information technology and global challenges. This community service is offered to solve the problems faced by the teacher group at SD Gugus Umamapu Waingapu Elementary School, East Sumba Regency. Looking at the partner's problems, the implementation method offered in service to solve the problems faced by the group of SD Gugus Umamapu Waingapu Elementary School teachers, East Sumba Regency are (1) Knowledge of designing lesson plans, (2) The teacher's knowledge of learning tools is not maximized, (3) The teacher's ability in developing learning tools still varies. To achieve the goal, community service activities are carried out in the form of training. Training activities are designed with the stages of the service cycle such as the stages of the Classroom Action Research (PTK) cycle. The stages of the PTK cycle consist of planning, action, observation and reflection activities. The PTK stages are used as a reference for the stages of training activities at this trial. The proposed method to solve the problem that has been formulated is divided into three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Strengthening Teacher Competence in Developing Thematic Learning Devices - Integrated Based on a Scientific Approach at Gugus Umamapu Waingapu Elementary School, East Sumba Regency, received a very positive response as shown from the reflection results at the end of the mentoring. Service activities are categorized as achieving activity objectives because there is an increase 1) 40% of teachers are able to design lesson plans with mapping indicators in the good category, 2) 40% of teachers are able to design lesson plans with appropriate learning strategies to achieve learning objectives, 3) 40% of teachers are able to design stages learning with inquiry learning strategies to achieve learning indicators, 4) 10% of teachers are able to choose appropriate learning media to teach students with appropriate learning strategies.

Abstract

The training activities carried out are solutions to the problems found, especially in designing activities that can stimulate symbolic thinking skills for early childhood. The training activities were carried out in two sessions, the first session was the provision of material by resource persons and the second session was the practice of compiling activities to stimulate children's symbolic thinking skills. The final results of the activity show that there is an additional teacher's understanding of children's symbolic thinking abilities, and the teacher's skills in designing fun activities to provide stimulation in an effort to improve children's symbolic thinking skills.
