Abstract

The city of Solo is the only city in Indonesia that has a free storybook distribution program for early childhood, namely the bolokuncoro program (Solo boy diligently moco aksoro). The research objectives are: 1) Developing technology-based bolokuncoro learning media products and local wisdom for inculcating early childhood literacy culture 2) Applying technology-based bolokuncoro learning media and local wisdom for inculcating early childhood literacy culture. This research is a development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model, the results of this study are: 1) The creation of interactive multimedia learning bolokuncoro 2) The growth of early childhood literacy culture in the city of Solo through the integration of interactive multimedia learning bolokuncoro with the results of the experimental class n-gain score 0 ,84 high category and control class 0,51 medium category. Thus interactive multimedia learning is effective for instilling a culture of early childhood literacy based on local wisdom that exists in the city of Solo and with a wider scope.

Abstract

The literacy interest of the Indonesian people is currently relatively low, this is influenced by one of them because of the lack of early literacy recognition. This study aims to determine the form of family literacy in Curug sub-district, Tangerang Banten. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and uses a Campbell matchmaking data analysis technique. The results of data analysis found that the form of family quality in Curug sub-district, Tangerang Banten, was through providing a reading corner at home, reading with children, listening to children tell stories and getting used to reading routines every day.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the process of learning to write argumentative essays, to describe the improvement of argumentative essay writing skills, and to describe changes in the behavior of students in class X-Ak2 SMK N 9 Tangerang Regency. The research in this research is classroom action research using the Krutt Lewin method. Learning is developed by selecting and using lesson plans, media, methods, and evaluations to improve school quality. The results of this study indicate an increase in argumentative essay writing skills in the initial condition test, the first cycle test, and the second cycle test. In the pre-cycle test, students obtained an average score of 68.1, while in the first cycle, the student's test results reached an average of 70.8. Based on this, there was an increase of 2.7 or 3.96%, namely from 68.1 in the initial condition to 70.8 in the first cycle. In the second cycle, the average value achieved was 81.67 and was included in the good category. , so that there was an increase of 10.87 or 15.35%, from 70.8 in the first cycle to 81.67 in the second cycle. The results of the second cycle test, showed that from 30 students, 20 students were declared complete and 10 students had not completed because they had not reached the KKM score of 75. The percentage of completeness reached 66.67%, this indicates that the target of student completion is more than 50% of students. finished. So this proves the success of researchers in research writing argumentative essays using the scientific method.

Abstract

One of the basic material in geometry is triangle and quadrilateral topic. It should be mastered by students before learning the next topic in geometry. In consequence, it becomes an essential topic. In fact, there are still students who have difficulties. That difficulties can be caused by learning obstacle during learning process. This discussion only focused on the students’ epistemological obstacle in learning triangle and quadrilateral topic. This study aims to identify the students’ epistemological obstacle based on errors when they answered the written test given. Five questions in written test were given to 25 grade VII students in one of junior high schools in Sumedang. This study used qualitative approach where data were analyzed with triangulation method from result of the test and the students’ interview. This research showed that the limitation of context in introducing triangles and quadrilateral was able to caused learning obstacle for the students. Furthermore, it caused the students having difficulty in solving the similar problem with different context in triangle and quadrilateral topic.

Abstract

This study aims to: analyze the effect of incentives and competencies on teacher performance at the SMKS Nurul Muttaqien Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency. This research is a quantitative research. The population of this study were teachers of SMKS Nurul Muttaqien Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency, amounting to 30 people. All members of the population were sampled in this study (saturated sample). The results of the research on the independent variable incentive X1 obtained t count (2,995) > T table ( 1,701 ) and the competence variable X2 t count (2,225) > t table (1,701). So, the incentive variable (X1) has a partial effect on the teacher's performance variable (Y), and the competence variable (X2) has a partial effect on the teacher's performance (Y). The f test results show that f count (29.892) > f table (1.703). With a significance of 0.000 < alpha = 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) show Adjusted R Square of 0.777, it can be concluded that the Incentive and Competency variables affect the teacher performance variable by 77.7% while the remaining (100-77.7%) = 22.3% is influenced by other factors .

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of leadership style and motivation on teacher performance at SMAN 30 Tangerang Regency. The success of an organization is determined by the performance of teachers in operating the work units in the agency. Teacher performance can be influenced by several factors, including leadership style and motivation. The object of this research is the teacher of SMAN 30 Tangerang Regency. The samples used were all teachers of SMAN 30 Tangerang Regency as many as 20 respondents. The analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results of the regression analysis between leadership style and motivation on performance obtained positive results of Y = a + b1X1 + b2X2 = 14,699 + 0,468 + 0,553. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test showed significant results with a significance of 0.046 and 0.041 < =0.05. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that leadership style and motivation have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to develop smartphone-based learning tools with the theme of Hombo Batu culture, Nias in the form of syllabus, lesson plans (RPP), student discussion sheets, and knowledge assessment instruments. The development of this learning tool uses the Four-D Model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The definition is carried out by studying literature, observing learning at school, interviewing Physics teachers and students regarding smartphone-based learning devices and cultural integration in learning. Learning tools are designed according to the 2013 curriculum, substitution of smartphone learning media, and integration of hombo batu culture in the material. Learning devices are developed based on the learning media used in the form of Android smartphones with learning media applications that have been developed and installed on students' smartphones. Dissemination is carried out by distributing products to schools in Bengkulu City. The learning device trials were carried out in two stages: limited testing (small group) and field testing (one class) with one pretest-posttest design group. From the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the score of the learning device based on Physics Mobile Learning with the theme of Hombo Batu culture is categorized as very good after being assessed by experts, teachers and colleagues. This learning device gets Aiken V on Syllabus 0.95; RPP of 0.94 student discussion sheets of 0.93 and test instruments of 0.85 with a pretest score of 28.96 and a posttest score of 76.10. The validity as seen from the Aiken V score (greater than the Aiken V table value) concluded that the learning device based on physics mobile learning with the theme of Hombo batu culture is valid and suitable for use in learning Physics on Newton's Laws and Parabolic Motion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survey dengan teknik korelasi. Suatu penelitian untuk mengumpulkan data yang diperoleh dengan cara mengukur dan mancatat hasil dari pengukuran yang benar dari tes kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata-tangan, fleksibilitas. Adapun variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata-tangan, fleksibilitas. Variabel terikatnya adalah keterampilan forehand drive permainan squash. Data yang ingin dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data variabel: kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata-tangan, fleksibilitas, keterampilan forehand drive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan pengukuran. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan forehand drive (Y) sebagai variabel terikat. Kekuatan otot lengan (X1), koordinasi mata-tangan (X2), fleksibilitas (X3) sebagai variabel bebas. Berdasarkan koefisien korelasi ganda ry123 tersebut di atas diperoleh koefisien determinasi (r2) sebesar 0,793.  Dengan demikian hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata-tangan, dan fleksibilitas secara bersama-sama dengan keterampilan forehand drive. Hubungan antara variabel X1, X2 dan X3 dengan variabel Y ini ditunjukan oleh koefisien korelasi ganda (r) sebesar 0,974. Kemudian dari koefisien determinasi (r2) sebesar 0.793, ini berarti bahwa variasi variabel kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata-tangan, dan fleksibilitas menjelaskan variasi hasil keterampilan forehand drive squash sebesar 79% dan sisanya atau residu sebesar 21% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dan diteliti dalam persamaan tersebut.

Abstract

Abstract - The objective of this research is to find out whether or not teaching reading through CAR using folklore can improve the reading comprehension of narrative text on the first grade students of SMK Negeri 9 Kabupaten Tangerang. The writer conducted the learning process in reading through folklore by Classroom Action Research. It focused on Kurt Lewins’ Design: Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. The instruments that were used in this research involved the English test sheet, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. For collecting the data, the writer gave the test in the form of narrative text, and the students had to answer the essay questions based on the text that they had learned before. Based on the research result, the comprehension of students in learning the text through folklore has improved. The result of pre-test, there are only 4 students who passed the KKM. The result of post-test in the second cycle gained 20 students who passed the KKM and derived mean score 80,75. In addition, students’ responses to learning are generally positive. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of jigsaw technique can improve students’ reading comprehension of narrative text on the first grade students of SMK Negeri 9 Kabupaten Tangerang. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai kualitas mikrobiologi air minum di salah satu pabrik Serang, Banten. Sampel air diperoleh dari 7 alat sterilisasi utama pabrik diantaranya reservoar, tank I, sand filter, carbon filter, filter I, filter II dan tank II. Penelitian kualitas air minum yang dilakukan meliputi uji fisika meliputi warna, bau dan rasa sedangkan kimia yaitu logam besi (Fe) dan mangan (Mn), isolasi mikroorganisme dengan menggunakan uji most probable number (MPN) dan dengan menggunakan total plate count (TPC). Untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai sumber air dan efektifitas proses penyaringan pada alat utama Pabrik X Serang Banten, sanitasi dan lainnya dilakukan pengamatan lebih lanjut terhadap proses penyaringan air minum sampai tahap terakhir. Sumber air yang digunakan sebagai bahan utama air minum diambil dari air sumber Cirahab yang berasal dari Gunung Karang, Serang, Banten. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Laboratorium utama pabrik diketahui beberapa sampel air minum yang berasal dari alat penyaringan diantaranya reservoar, tank I, sand filter, carbon filter dan pre filter masih terdapat mikroba berupa kapang yaitu jenis aspergillus niger sebanyak 28 koloni pada keseluruhan penyaringan air minum, sedangkan bakteri E. coli dan coliform tidak terdapat sama sekali pada sampel air. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut sampel air minum pabrik Serang, Banten masih layak dikonsumsi karena kapang yang terdapat di dalam sampel tersebut tidak terlalu berbahaya dan masih ada tahapan sterilisasi selanjutnya (berdasarkan Kepmenkes No. 492/IV/2010 yaitu kandungan bakteri 0 sel/ml.)
