Jurnal Kapuas adalah Media Publikasi Elektronik Artikel Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat yang dikelola oleh Unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (UPPM) Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Ruang Lingkup kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat dapat berupa sosialisasi, penyuluhan, pendampingan hingga transformasi IPTEK kepada Masyarakat guna meningkatkan kompetensi dan taraf hidup masyarakat melalui kegiatan yang terstruktur. Bidang keilmuan publikasi artikel yang dimuat dapat mencakup bidang ilmu rekayasa dan non rekayasa. Redaksi menerima artikel dari praktisi dan akademisi melalui kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang dilakukan secara mandiri maupun melalui pendanaan lembaga tertentu agar dapat dipublikasikan secara umum dan dapat diakses dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Frekuensi publikasi artikel secara berkala sebanyak dua kali yakni pada bulan Januari dan Juli pada tiap tahun terbitan.

Abstract

Sektor pendidikan menjadi salah satu yang terdampak serius dari adanya wabah pandemi Covid-19. Pembelajaran yang semula hadir di dalam kelas diganti dengan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (Daring). Kondisi ini tidak hanya terjadi pada tingkat Sekolah saja tapi juga untuk tingkat Universitas. Mahasiswa juga mengalami kesulitan untuk beradaptasi secara cepat dengan kondisi yang ada. Program pengabdiaan kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan kepada mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik, khususnya mahasiswa baru agar lebih cepat beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi dan memudahkan mengikuti perkuliahan yang diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas secara daring menggunakan Smart Booklet sebagai media untuk panduan dari beberapa teknologi yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran seperti Google Classroom, Google Meet, dan Zoom Meeting. Smart booklet ini merupakan modifikasi booklet pada umumnya dengan teknologi barcode atau QR Code. Metode pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan yaitu Tahap persiapan, Tahap Desiminasi teknologi, dan Tahap Evaluasi. Hasil yang didapatkan 100% mahasiswa menyatakan booklet yang dibagikan sangat bermanfaat, 98,7% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa booklet tersebut menambah pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa, 88% mahasiswa menyatakan QR code memudahkan mahasiswa untuk mengakses media pembelajaran yang digunakan, dan 95,7 % mahasiswa menyatakan telah memahami semua media yang digunakan.

Abstract

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a new strain of virus from the coronavirus that can cause mild disorders of the respiratory system, severe lung infections and death. This virus can attack all ages. The disease is called Coronavirus Disease (20) 19 or COVID-19. The transmission of this virus is via droplets spread by coughing or sneezing on an infected person. We cannot know someone has COVID-19 or not, so we have to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle, and try to protect ourselves using personal protective equipment, one of which is the use of masks. The use of masks can prevent transmission of COVID-19. The purpose of this activity is to educate the public on the importance of using masks. The target of this activity is the people in Pontianak City. The expected output is that the community understands more about the disease and how it is transmitted, so that they will be more disciplined in using masks. Abstract

The group of Longgang Dalam fish farmers and PKK groups as partner groups in Tunas Muda Village are cultivating fish as a side activity, so it has not been so focused on efforts to increase production targets. This is due to the limited knowledge, information and mastery of fish farming technology owned by the partner group. In addition, to increase production targets required sufficient capital, especially for the purchase of fish feed, it takes seriousness in fish farming, especially related to water quality management, feed management, harvest handling and marketing. Therefore, it is imperative to transfer science and technology to solve those problems. Method of implementation of Science and Technology for Society (IbM) done in several stages of socialization and discussion, technical and non technical training, business management and marketing training. After the training activities have been completed, the process of mentoring and monitoring of the partner groups were conducted. Abstract

The need for fish food is not in line with the increasing land of densely populated residential areas, especially in the capital city of West Kalimantan province, Pontianak City. The development of Snakehead fish culture is very promising, when assessing economically the selling price of snakehead fish has a good market potential to improve the community's economy Pontianak City. The acuponic system is very relevant to be carried out in urban areas with the availability of narrow land, because the acuponic cultivation system is more effective in land use. The implementation of community service activities in the snakehead fish culture community with an aquaponic system aims to provide solutions for fish cultivation communities in densely populated areas to utilize residential land to improve the economy. The method of science and technology transformation is carried out through theoretical training on the prospects of snakehead fish farming with an acuponic system, how to make an aquaponic system installation, good ways of fish farming, snakehead fish production and sustainable vegetable crops. Next is the application of snakehead fish enlargement by using the aquaponic system and analyzing the snakehead fish farming business with the aquaponic system. Monitoring of water quality, feed, and growth of fish and plants is carried out every day. Monitoring the growth of weight and survival rates of fish and plants is done every month and evaluated the success of activities carried out at the end of the activity. During the mentoring activities not only carried out in technical activities, but also in institutional fish cultivators, so that an established, independent and productive entrepreneurial group was formed. Abstract

Seaweed is one of the fishery commodities which can be used as a mainstay source of the national fisheries economy. Seaweed has long been known in Indonesia as a food, beverage, vegetable and traditional medicine ingredient. The target area for this community service program (PKM) is North Pontianak District, Pontianak City, which is also one of the tourism destinations for the equatorial monument in Indonesia. The partner group selected in this community service program (PKM) is the people of Batulayang Village, North Pontianak District, who are members of the village PKK group of 20 people divided into 5 small groups. The main objective of this PKM activity is to transfer seaweed utilization science and technology through training and assistance in processing food and beverages made from seaweed. In general, the results of this PKM activity run smoothly and thoroughly. After participating in this PKM activity, the training participants gained new skills about seaweed processing, how to make small-scale business feasibility, and how to market the seaweed products that have been produced. There are ten types of processed seaweed products, namely: seaweed brownies, seaweed pudding, seaweed drinks, seaweed bingke cake, seaweed ointment, seaweed sticks, seaweed crackers, seaweed lunkhead, seaweed jely, and sweets. seaweed. Increasing community skills in the use of seaweed is one of the efforts to support the community's economy and stretch tourism in the North Pontianak District. Abstract

The training for the application of science and technology was carried out in the community around the Al Murrabby Islamic Boarding School, Sungai Rengas Village, Kubu Raya Regency with the aim of providing insight into the processing of fishery products. This can be seen from the condition of the fish cultivated by ponds in the village of Sungai Rengas. It is seen that they are sometimes underutilized optimally and are not handled and just left alone. Through the community-based science and technology transfer program (PPM), it is hoped that the community's understanding of the development of fishery products can increase, besides that the potential of marine catch and aquaculture fisheries are optimally utilized and community income will increase. PPM activities carried out include 1) counseling / lecturing activities, 2) Product processing practices / training / demonstrations, 3) Activity modules and guidelines, and 4) Monitoring and evaluation of the results of training activities. The results of this activity can be seen from the results of the questionnaire which shows that after receiving the training the participants are very enthusiastic and have the desire to open their own business in the hope of increasing their income and welfare. It is hoped that this activity will be sustainable, such as the development of processed other fishery products, community assistance both in technology transfer and development of production facilities as well as easy access to capital assistance. Abstract

Sangkuriang catfish is one of the superior catfish strains that has high economic value by means of fish breeding which is relatively easy, but the availability of water has decreased quality in the cultivation process, so the necessity of the application of filtration recirculation system in order to maintain the quality and quantity of water in order to support the growth rate and survival rate in the nursery process of sangkuriang catfish. Problems faced by the Farmers Farmers' Group Makmur in the Punggur Kecil Village, especially in implementing sangkuriang catfish nursery with a recipe system, of course, technically the community does not master because they are accustomed to gardening even though there are some farmer groups that have pondered fish but the knowledge about fish farming is good and right of course the knowledge of knowledge is still limited, in order to overcome the problem, it is necessary to have counseling from universities to transfer fisheries cultivation technology by means of assistance so that the community can independently carry out fish farming activities with the reculation system. The activities in the application of science and technology include socialization activities, counseling, science and technology applications in fish culture to technical and business evaluations and assistance during the process of fish farming activities. The technical results obtained by fish farmers during sangkuriang catfish breeding with a filtration recirculation system are with a significant increase in growth rate and survival rate during maintenance reaching 86.15%, from the evaluation of the technical results based on the value of community welfare where profits are obtained the increasing business feasibility and feasibility in terms of the B / C ratio <1 so that it is expected to have an impact on increasing profits in raising sangkuriang catfish. Abstract

Sungai Besar Village is one of the areas in Bunut Hulu Subdistrict, Kapuas Hulu Regency, West Kalimantan, which has considerable development potential in the fisheries sector. This is reinforced by the majority of people who have a livelihood as farmers and fish farmers. In addition, Sungai Besar Village is also one of the leading regions for the fisheries sector, especially tilapia and catfish. However, the rapid increase in population can cause limited production areas that can be used in various fields of fisheries. This encourages the intensification of efforts as one way of land utilization. One way that can be done is the application of the Minapadi fish culture system. This minapadi system has several advantages including an increase in community income through the existence of fish farming and more effective land use. The development of the fisheries sector, primarily the tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) aquaculture business using the Minapadi system, is a solution in addressing land use issues and improving the economic community in the Kapuas Hulu Regency. In addition, Sungai Besar Village is expected to become a target village for the production of fish cultivation using the Minapadi system. The method that will be used in community service activities (PPM) is the method of assisting the transformation of science and application programs (training and counseling) related to the application of fish cultivation with the Minapadi system. Expected output in this activity is the community of Sungai Besar Village is able to implement fish farming with the Minapadi system. Abstract

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) have proven resilient to the economic crisis that has hit Indonesia. MSMEs contribute significantly to the national economy by reducing the unemployment rate in Indonesia, whose presence is able to absorb labor. This Community Service Activity aims to provide an understanding of the importance of separating the owner's personal finances from his business finances. In addition, this training activity is also to provide knowledge and skills to micro-entrepreneurs in Kapuas District, Sanggau Regency in recording their business financial transactions through an Android-based application, namely LAMIKRO. The target audience in this service activity is micro-entrepreneurs in Kapuas District, Sanggau Regency. The implementation of PPM activities is carried out by coordinating with partners to identify problems with the target audience, compiling training materials, implementing training using the lecture method, tutorials, discussions, and simulations of using the Lamikro application, and evaluation in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results of this community service activity are according to the expected target, namely an increase in the knowledge and skills of micro-entrepreneurs using the LAMIKRO application in preparing their business financial reports in accordance with SAK EMKM. Abstract

Rasau Jaya 2 is a village in the Rasau Jaya District which has a variety of agricultural products. Agricultural products include coconut, hybrid coconut, oil palm, biopharmaceutical crops, fruits and vegetables. The purpose of this activity is to help the community of Rasau Jaya 2 Village market their agricultural products based on e-marketting. The method used is to provide training for the youth of Rasau Jaya 2 Village with e-marketting based marketing. The result of the training is that all participants are satisfied with the online-based product marketing training.
