Abstract

Real Work Lecture, Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a tangible manifestation in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, one of which is community service where students must devote themselves wholeheartedly which is carried out with an approach in the community. This KKN is the task of universities to determine the regions and groupings determined by LP2M, the benefits of which are to introduce aspects of education, health and social society. With the KKN in Cicangkanggirang village, it is hoped that students will be able to optimize the form of kinship, good character and students are able to face problems that occur during times of crisis and are independent and able to think critically in facing challenges in real life. A program that has been successfully implemented includes in the field of education such as tutoring, smart homes, seminars and regular recitations. In the health sector, such as posyandu, blood donation and environmental hygiene and in the social sector, such as village administration services, distribution of BLT, donations to orphans, celebrating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, Tabligh akbar and helping UMKM. The obstacle found is the lack of concern for some of the community towards children's education and health, both for the environment and for themselves.

Abstract

The activity of reading books is also an activity that has many benefits and is best applied at the earliest possible age or the age of children. However, in reality very few children have very low interest in reading due to several factors. Especially like today where the development of technology is very fast and rapid, causing any information to be easily obtained through gadgets. so the activity of reading books began to be abandoned. The Teras Baca program has the aim of restoring interest in reading in children, providing reading materials for them and as a place for them to learn so that it becomes a solution for parents in motivating children to want to read. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, the data obtained from interviews and documentation are as they are, the activities are described and detailed more clearly. It is hoped that this activity can foster interest and instill reading habits for children.

Abstract

The low interest in reading in the community can result in a lack of knowledge obtained, lack of information obtained, lack of vocabulary and difficulties in managing information. One of the Darul Falah Real Work Lecture (KKN) programs is the provision of Great Children's Reading Cottage (AHE) in Sindangkerta village, Sindangkerta sub-district, West Bandung regency, which aims to increase public interest in reading. This KKN program collaborates with local community leaders such as the head of the RT, the head of the RW and also the whole community. The focus of the AHE reading cottage is for children aged 5-9 years. The method used in this activity is a qualitative method with a learning socialization approach and the provision of a children's reading hut commonly known as AHE. The provision of this AHE reading lodge has a positive impact on the local community, this can be seen from the results obtained in the form of an increase in reading for children aged 5-9 years. the existence of intensive tutoring individually.

Abstract

Digitalization is growing rapidly at this time, especially digital platforms used in education. The use of the internet and social media in Indonesia is very massive. Therefore, it is necessary to increase digital skills, especially for students in developing their interests and talents in digital literacy. Digital skills in this activity are carried out by holding digital content creation seminars using the Canva platform as an attractive and easy-to-access digital content creation application. The seminar was held at YAS Sindangkerta High School by involving West Java ICT Volunteers and Student STAI Darul Falah Bandung Barat. This digital content can change students' habits to use the internet wisely and turn negative habits into more productive ones to create digital content of images, music and videos through a variety of digital products to be used in everyday learning life.

Abstract

Implementation of Darul Falah STAI Field Work Lecture in Puncaksari Village, West Bandung has the goal of changing the mindset of parents and children in improving formal education and religious education. Facts in the field of the residents of the Puncaksari village regarding their views about the importance of an education are still below average, it was found that there were problems with continuing education strata for children during their study period which only finished at the age of 9 years at junior high school level) after they got married, worked. Parents for their children think that education is enough to be able to read and count then work, wander and try their luck, this happens based on economic factors. Through the implementation of Real Work Lectures, students, supervisors and in collaboration with the local government are trying to provide input and views related to the importance of a continuous formal education and religious education in the environment they live in, this is material for raising the dignity of families and communities through education. The actions carried out from the real work lecture program were in the form of facilitating them with educational activities such as counseling, talent and art competitions, establishing a mini village library, and verbal motivation about the enthusiasm for learning. The result of this implementation is that the enthusiasm for learning of the children in the Puncaksari village is increasing as seen by their active participation in the activities carried out in the KKN program, besides that words of happiness can be heard from their parents when children have talents and competencies which are facilitated by KKN participants.

Abstract

Education is the main gate to the progress and manners of a nation. If you don't get an education, it will raise problems in society, one of which is in Kampung Cikole, moral degradation, and distortion of the educational paradigm. The purpose of community service is to help provide solutions and real efforts to solve problems happened, by involving students, leaders, and the community of Cikole village, researchers took a holistic approach to be able to identify what needs to be done so that the problems that occurred in Cikole village could be resolved properly. Based on the research conducted after the researchers implemented the smart home program, recitation, and regular congregation as well as educational outreach, the people of Cikole village began to form Islamic characters and understand the importance of education, and responded well to the positive changes that researchers implemented in Cikole village.

Abstract

Character education is necessary not only at school, but also at home and in the social environment. Even today, the participants in character creation are not only for young learners and teenagers, but also adults. This training is important to be held to increase teacher insight regarding the implementation of character education for students. Apart from that, as an alternative to carry out integrated character education, namely combining and optimizing informal educational activities at home learning with formal education. Character education training for home learning teachers is carried out using the lecture and question and answer method. training participants can understand the importance of character education for students at home learning. Furthermore, the trainees will create various methods in the teaching process.

Abstract

This study explains the practice of Islamic religious teachings in everyday life in Ds. Cikadu Kec. Sindangkerta Regency. West Bandung and what factors can manifest the practice of Islamic teachings in that community. It was found that religious practice in the community was going quite well, this was caused by several factors, namely the existence of the Islamic boarding school tradition that was embedded and manifested in religious life in society, which occurred due to religious activities such as teaching or ta'lim regarding science, knowledge, religious understanding and practice in several Islamic Boarding Schools and Majlis Ta'lim in Ds. Cikadu Kec. Sindangkerta Regency. West Bandung, so that people's lives are closely related to Islamic values.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a global disease outbreak, so with this outbreak the entire community is negatively affected, one of which is the temporary suspension of posyandu. As a result of this temporary suspension of posyadu, pregnant women and toddlers do not get their rights as they should. With the STAI Darul Falah KKN Mandiri program in collaboration with posyandu cadres who initiated a program with the local area, especially Cimareme Village, which has an agenda for mobile posyandu, it is hoped that it will fulfill the rights of pregnant women and toddlers. The method used in this activity is in the form of education to the community in the form of direct counseling about the importance of implementing posyadu, preventing covid and things that must be considered when implementing mobile posyandu. The results of this activity are helping the community both in terms of fulfilling nutrition, providing adequate vitamins for pregnant women and toddlers can also help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by not crowding, always wearing masks and consuming nutritious food. Abstract

Due to the long-lasting COVID-19 pandemic, the government has imposed rules for implementing long distance learning (online learning). This causes various problems for students, teachers and parents that need to be handled appropriately. The main problem that arises during online learning activities is the lack of student motivation. One of the efforts that can be done to overcome this problem is the assistance of students during the learning process. This assistance is carried out by helping the students to do school assignments, adding learning materials, guidance and counseling, and improving communications between parents and teachers.
