Abstract

The determination of boarding house is a decision that requires careful consideration to meet the needs and preferences of residents. Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) is a systematic approach used in various fields to analyze and evaluate complex decision problems involving many conflicting criteria. The application of the MAIRCA method in determining boarding places becomes an alternative for users in choosing a location with the help of a decision support system, so that it becomes an alternative consideration in choosing and determining decisions. Alternative ranking by recommending Kost Nur with a final score of 0.110417 gets 1st place, Casablangka with a final value of 0.077500 gets 2nd place, and Rumahku with a final value of 0.076250 gets 3rd place.

Abstract

The selection of catering vendors is a crucial stage in planning an event that requires serious attention. The vendor's experience and specialization in serving the desired type of dish is a determining factor, while the ability to tailor the menu to specific needs is a plus. The combination of SAW and ROC can provide a higher level of accuracy in ranking alternatives. SAW provides a simple approach to assigning weight to criteria, while ROC brings the centroid concept to reduce the impact of extreme values. The combination of these two methods can provide more consistent and accurate results. The ranking results of catering vendors using SAW and ROC get the results of rank 1 with a value of 0.8198 for Surya Catering vendors, rank 2 with a value of 0.7972 for Dzaky Catering vendors, rank 3 with a value of 0.7971 for Ratu Catering vendors.

Abstract

Choosing the best hotel based on user reviews is an important step for modern travelers who rely on the experience and feedback of others before making a decision. The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations for users in the selection of hotels based on reviews from other users by applying the OCRA method in ranking the best hotel alternatives. The ranking results using the OCRA method based on the results of hotel user reviews on the TripAdvisor application were obtained for rank 1 with a value of 1.7635 obtained under the name Novotel Lampung Hotel, rank 2 with a value of 0.6149 obtained under the name Radisson Lampung Kedaton, and rank 3 with a value of 0.4268 obtained under the name BATIQA Hotel Lampung.

Abstract

Performance appraisal is a process for identifying employee strengths and areas of development, providing a basis for decision-making regarding promotion, skills development, and recognition of good performance. The combination of MOORA method and entropy weighting is a comprehensive approach in multi-criteria decision making. MOORA provides a framework for assessing and filtering alternatives based on the ratio of comparison to positive and negative ideal solutions, while entropy weighting contributes by taking into account the degree of uncertainty or chaos on each criterion. The ranking results provide recommendations for rank 1 on behalf of Employee A with a final value of 0.4522, rank 2 on behalf of Employee B with a final value of 0.4428, and rank 3 on behalf of Employee D with a final value of 0.4156.

Abstract

Determining the promotion of supervisor position is a crucial process in managing human resources of an organization. This decision involves an in-depth evaluation of a supervisor's performance, leadership skills, ability to manage the team, as well as achievement of company goals and strategies. The benefits of this study provide recommendations to companies for determining supervisor promotion by applying a decision support system model using a combination of GRA and ROC so that it will help companies determine candidates who become supervisors. The calculation results recommend rank 1 with a total value of 0.9406 obtained on behalf of prospective candidates Ahmad and Astria, rank 2 with a total value of 0.8572 obtained on behalf of prospective candidate Joko, rank 3 with a total value of 0.7718 obtained on behalf of candidate Yudha, and rank 4 with a total value of 0.6974 obtained on behalf of prospective candidate Rina.

Abstract

Employee performance is an evaluation of individual contributions and achievements in achieving goals and work standards set by the company. Employee performance evaluation covers various aspects, including productivity, quality of work, compliance with company policies, as well as the ability to collaborate and adapt to the work team. One of the problems that occurs is the lack of clarity in determining evaluation criteria that are appropriate and relevant to organizational goals. Appraiser objectivity can arise from subjective preferences or unfair appraisals of appraisers towards certain employees, and lack of consistency in the application of evaluation standards and the unavailability of adequate data can also hinder the effective performance evaluation process. The profile matching method in employee performance evaluation involves comparing an individual's performance profile with an expected or desired profile for a particular position or role in the organization. The purpose of this study is to apply the profile matching method in evaluating employee performance so that it will produce the best performance recommendations from existing employees. The profile matching method is not only an employee performance evaluation tool, but also a powerful management strategy to increase productivity, motivation, and job satisfaction in the workplace. The results of employee performance evaluation using the profile matching method recommend Rina as the employee with the best performance because she gets a total score of 4.5175 and gets 1st place.

Abstract

Determining the location to establish a new business is a critical stage in the business planning process. The right decision in choosing a location can have a significant impact on the success and continuity of the business. The location of a new business has many factors to consider, but there are some problems that entrepreneurs often face in this process. One is the limitation of accurate and up-to-date information about local market conditions, infrastructure, and business regulations in the location under consideration. The lack of comprehensive data can make decision-making less accurate and potentially lead to errors in assessing market potential as well as environmental and social risks. Determining the location of a new business using Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) involves a series of structured and measurable steps. Application of the SMART method to identify and assess various attributes that are relevant and have an impact on business success, as well as to investigate the advantages of the SMART method in providing an objective and measurable approach to the decision-making process, as well as to test the effectiveness of this method in reducing risk and increasing the chances of success in establishing new ventures. The data from alternative ranking provides recommendations for determining the location of new businesses with the results of rank 1 with a value of 0.7583 obtained by CH Village, rank 2 with a value of 0.6167 obtained by ST Village, and rank 3 with a value of 0.4625 obtained by DR Village.

Abstract

Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is the cost incurred by the company to produce or acquire goods which are then sold to customers. The main components in COGS include raw material costs, direct labor costs, and factory overhead costs required to produce goods. One of the problems in determining the cost of goods sold is the difficulty in estimating production costs accurately, which can result in selling prices that are not in accordance with the expected profit margin. In addition, another problem in determining the cost of goods sold is the lack of accurate data or information about costs related to product production and distribution, thus making the pricing process less efficient and less precise. The application of the moving average method in determining the cost of goods sold (COGS) of web-based goods offers an efficient and integrated solution for companies in managing their production costs. Using a web-based application, users can easily access and utilize moving average analysis features to even out fluctuations in raw material or production prices in real-time. The test results using blackbox testing by 100% show that all test scenarios that have been designed have been successfully passed by the application without any failures or malfunctions. A 100% test result gives the development team additional confidence that the app is ready to launch and is widely used by users.

Abstract

The main duties of a waitress include welcoming and directing customers to tables, taking food and beverage orders, serving dishes, and ensuring customer satisfaction during their visit. One of the main problems in determining the best waitress is finding a balance between technical skills, such as the ability to take orders quickly. The main problem in determining the best waitress is finding a balance between technical skills, such as the ability to take orders quickly or manage tables efficiently, and interpersonal skills, such as good communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers. In addition, attention also needs to be paid to the ability to work in demanding situations, maintain cleanliness, and adapt to diverse work environments. The purpose of this study is to apply ROC and SMART methods in a Decision Support System (DSS) for the selection of the best waitress. Using the ROC, this study aimed to determine the relative weights of relevant criteria in waitress assessment, while SMART was used to provide a holistic approach in the evaluation of alternatives. The combination of these two methods is expected to provide a strong and measurable framework for selecting the best waitress, taking into account various aspects of qualifications and relevant preferences. The ranking results for the best waitress 1 with a final value of 0.8353 were obtained by Leni, for the best waitress 2 with a final value of 0.7163 obtained by Haris, and for the best waitress 3 with a final value of 0.6975 obtained by Riyadi.

Abstract

The choice of vehicle service place is an important decision for vehicle owners because it will affect the quality of maintenance and service received by their vehicle. Some of the problems that may arise in the selection of vehicle service places include uncertainty in service quality, unaffordable prices, lack of availability of spare parts, and communication problems between customers and mechanics. The combination of reciprocal rank weighting (RR) and simple additive weighting (SAW) methods in vehicle service site selection can improve accuracy and objectivity in decision making. The RR method is used to derive the relative ranking of each alternative based on the decision maker's preference for certain criteria, while the SAW method is used to weigh and combine the weights of criteria in a structured manner. The ranking results gave a rank 1 result with a value of 0.9256 obtained by TR Service Place, rank 2 with a value of 0.8291 obtained by the AS Service Place, and rank 3 with a value of 0.7884 obtained by DW Service Place.
