Abstract

The study aims to study the role of the family in the implementation of Islamic education for children through Islamic Parenting methods in Langenharjo Village, Plemahan Kediri. The Islamic Parenting Method is an approach that focuses on Islamic values in educating children. Research is carried out using qualitative approaches, and data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that families play a central role in shaping children's character and religious understanding. Parents or guardians have a responsibility to give their children an understanding of religious teachings, morality, ethics, and Islamic examples. Islamic Parenting is an effective means for parents to teach basic concepts such as faith in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and Muhammad SAW as His Messenger, prayer (prayer), Ramadan fasting (fasting), zakat (infak), Hajj (sacrifice), and noble morality. The family is also the first place for children to learn the Quran and Hadith. Parents can read Islamic stories, teach values of goodness, and give positive examples in everyday life. Nevertheless, further efforts are needed to improve the understanding and implementation of Islamic Parenting methods in Langenharjo Plemahan Kediri Village. In conclusion, the role of the family is very important in the Islamic education of children. Islamic Parenting methods can be an effective means for parents to shape their children's Islamic character and strengthen their religious understanding. However, further efforts are needed to develop and disseminate these methods in society.

Abstract

In the learning process, the teacher not only transmits knowledge to students, but the teacher must also have the ability to understand students and their various uniqueness in order to be able to help them face their learning difficulties. Religious character development can be formed through PAI learning. As well, learning activities must be carried out properly and optimally so that learning objectives can be achieved. Research objectives: 1: To describe the formation of students through learning Islamic religious education in class X, SMK Mastna Karim Diwek Jombang. 2. To describe the religiousness of students in class X at SMK Mastna Karim Diwek Jombang, 3. To describe the supporting and guiding factors in the formation of student character through learning Islamic religion in class X at SMK Mastna Karim Diwek Jombang. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive design. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study: 1. The formation of religious character at SMK Matsna Karim Diwek Jombang goes through three stages, namely, implementation planning and evaluation. 2. The religious character of students at SMK Matsna Karim Diwek Jombang, namely: familiarizing students to pray before and after doing work; celebrating religious holidays such as Mawlid Nabi, Israj Miraj, Living in harmony with adherents of other religions when students are accustomed to religious subjects and respect each other's religious subjects 3. Supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of religious character at SMK Matsna Karim Diwek Jombang The supporting factors are teachers and parents; the inhibiting factor is the lack of facilities.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the ability to read the Qur'an in students certainly cannot be separated from the efforts of teachers and madrasahs who have a goal for the success of students. Because the ability to read includes skills that are learned intentionally, The purpose of this study was to find out how effective the Qur'anic method is for the fluency of reading the Koran for students at Segodorejo Middle School, Jombang. This study uses a quantitative method with a one shot case study research design. The sample used was class VII students, as many as 16 students. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using psychomotor assessment sheets and documentation. After the data is collected, prior to analysis, the data normality test is first performed, and the sig value is obtained. of 0.354, then carried out a comparative test in the form of a one-sample T-test, obtaining a sig. of 0.000, which means less than a, which is 0.05. From the data, it is also known that the calculated t value is 14.158 for the previous value and 13.703 for the after value. Then the calculation of the t count and t table for the value before is 14.158 > 2.145, and the calculation of the t count and t table for the value after is 13.703 > 2.145, which means hypothesis 0 is rejected and hypothesis 1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of the Qur'anic method has proven effective in facilitating students' reading of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This research was held. What is the managerial influence of the school principal on the quality of education, and the provision of scholarships on the quality of existing education? This research took place at Al Amien Jatigunting Middle School, Wonorejo District, Pasuruan Regency. n In conducting the research, researchers used qualitative research methods with case studies to see the extent to which the managerial influence of school principals and scholarships had on the quality of education in Al Amien Middle School. Documentation, interviews, and observations are the steps of the researcher in obtaining accurate data to be presented as a result of the research. In addition, the researcher also took some data as a reference for the results of the research that will be carried out later. In addition to data, the researchers also took some documentation as supporting evidence for the results of the research that will be presented. The results of this study are 1) there is managerial influence on improving the quality of education, including the management of teachers and education staff who lack discipline 2) lack of facilities and infrastructure existing infrastructure at the institution, so that students have to study at other institutions 3) scholarships are sufficiently capable of attracting many students to study at this institution with the waiver of school fees, as well as the cost of school uniforms.

Abstract

Teaching using learning strategies is very necessary for improving student learning outcomes during the learning process. Educators must choose strategies that can attract the interest of students so that they are not boring and monotonous and so that students will be more active in the learning process. One of them is the crossword puzzle learning strategy, students can play without losing the essence of learning, more enthusiastic, enthusiastic in following learning. This study aims to determine the implementation and influence of crossword Puzzle learning strategies on the learning outcomes of grade III students in theme 6 subtheme 1 at MI Islamiyah Sidoarjo. This type of research is quantitative Quasi Experiment using Non-equivalent control group design.  With a class III research sample of 70 students. Descriptive analysis on the experimental class post-test data was  81.56 while the control class was 72.15, the average score of students in the class was better than in the control class Similarly, the independent sample t-test obtained sig scores. (2-tailed) 0.007 < 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students between the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

This research aims to see the relationship between students' critical thinking in the Think Pair Share (TPS), Think Pair Square (TPSq) Learning Models, and Conventional Learning through Lectures on Islamic Cultural History (SKI) material based on their school of origin. This research was carried out at SMPN 1 Cisarua, MTs Al-Hikmah Pasirhalang, and the Roudlotul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School in West Bandung with quantitative research. The research instruments in this study used questionnaires and tests. The test for data analysis requirements used was Two Ways ANOVA with a data normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov with the help of SPSS version 26 software. In this study it was found that there was no difference in students' critical thinking abilities towards the TPS, TPSq, and conventional learning models, there was a difference in abilities. Students' Critical Thinking regarding the Origin of Middle Schools, MTs, and Islamic Boarding Schools, and the interaction between Learning Models and School Origin in determining Students' Critical Thinking Ability. Apart from that, there are differences in the critical thinking abilities of students who go to junior high schools and MTs, there are no differences in the critical thinking abilities of students who go to junior high schools and Islamic boarding schools. The significance value of MTs vs Islamic Boarding Schools is 0.038, and the difference in critical thinking abilities of students who go to MTs and Islamic Boarding Schools.

Abstract

Education is the most important part for every individual in increasing their knowledge. Education in Indonesia is currently not said to be good, especially in mathematics education.  The use of methods that can generate enthusiasm for learning is indeed important, such as the TGT-type cooperative learning method that combines games and tournaments in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation and influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of grade IV students in plan figure mathematics subjects at MI Miftahul Ulum Pandanarum. Using a type of research two group pre-test post-test design. With a class IV research sample of 50 students. In the implementation of the team games tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model, data analysis obtained that the average learning outcomes of experimental class students were 77.4 while the control class was 57.6, so the average score of experimental class students was better than in the control class.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how memorising the Al-Qur'an affects the emotional intelligence of class VIII students at SMP BP Amanatul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto. The research uses a quantitative approach with an associative type of research. The population is all 395 class VIII students. A sample of 79 students was taken by random sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire and analysed using simple linear regression. The research results show (1) There is a positive and significant influence between memorising the Qur'an and emotional intelligence as shown by the regression equation Y=51.744+0.416X, t value > t table (2.730 > 1.990), and a significance value of 0.010 ( <0.05), (2) The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.184 shows that the contribution of memorising the Qur'an to emotional intelligence is 18.4% and other factors influence the remainder, (3) The more routine you memorise the Qur'an, increasing students' emotional intelligence. Recommendations for further research include considering other variables influencing emotional intelligence, expanding the research subjects and locations, conducting qualitative research, and comparative studies between groups who routinely and non-routinely memorise the Koran.

Abstract

One of the aims of istigosah carried out at the Al Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School in Jombang. Therefore, this research examines in depth how the istighosah activities of male students are carried out at the Islamic Boarding School in improving the intelligence of male students, as well as how the istighosah activities of male students at the Islamic Boarding School improve their intelligence. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusions. The results and conclusions of this study are that the implementation of istighosah activities for male students at the Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School in Diwek, Jombang is as follows: First, the implementation of compulsory istigosah for students who have been initiated, even though it can be done by people who have not been initiated. Second, the timing of Istigosah is only at the time determined by a Mursyid of the Tariqa. Third, the characteristic of istighosah in this Islamic Boarding School is not the same as istigosah in other Islamic Boarding Schools. The improvement of the spiritual intelligence of male students at the Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School in Diwek, Jombang is carried out in several ways as follows: First, students are educated to feel the presence of Allah in their lives. Second, students are educated to perform dhikr and prayer. Third, students' quality of patience is improved. Fourth, students have high empathy. Fifth, students have a big heart.

Abstract

This research examines the application of Islamic social etiquette among students at MTs Al-Ikhlas Alang-Alang Caruban Jogoroto Jombang. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research results show that this madrasa applies Islamic social etiquette through preventive and repressive measures. Preventive measures include education in aqeedah, worship, and morals. Repressive action takes the form of giving educational punishment. The main supporting factor is the teacher's role as a guide, facilitator, role model, and motivator. The inhibiting factor is the influence of social media and technology. Implementing Islamic social etiquette is urgent to shape students' personalities with good morals, produce a young generation with a leadership spirit, and anticipate the negative influence of developments in technology and social media. Strategies to strengthen its implementation include increasing the quality and quantity of religious activities, collaboration with parents, separate seating for men and women, teacher supervision, and spiritual formation through habituation to commendable behavior and imitating the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
