Abstract

This study investigates the payment of wages as compensation for labor services under Islamic law, specifically the concept of ijārah bi al-’amal  or renting services for completing a particular job. The research aims to answer two main questions: first, how is the wage setting system for contract teachers established in Teunom District, and second, how does the ijārah bi al-’amal contract perspective influence the wage system? Using a qualitative research method, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and then analyzed descriptively to achieve the research objectives. The study reveals that the contract teacher wage-setting system in Aceh Jaya is based on the Aceh Jaya Regional Regulation No. 63 of 2015 concerning Regional Assistance Contract Workers, which considers the educational background of the workers in determining their wages. In terms of the ijārah bi al-’amal contract, the study finds that the wages given to contract teachers in Teunom District do not follow the standards outlined in the wage regulations. Although the wages are considered under the agreement/contract, they only fulfill the primary needs (dharuriyat) and do not meet the proper needs referred to in the regulations.

Abstract

This Journal is written using literature reviews of contemporary with the educational philosophy point of view. The data sources are from books, magazines, articles, and papers related to the thoughts of Al-Attas and education. The primary reference is some works written by Al-Attas. Besides, the secondary reference is the intellectual works of ideas of Al-Attas. Other works related to the topic are used as supporting data. The method used in this journal is a Heuristic method, which seeks a new understanding. The heuristic method is applied to find something new after inferring and criticizing the objective material of the study. This method is used to evaluate critically the thoughts of Al-Attas, including strengths and weaknesses.

Abstract

The study aimed to discover high-achieving students' learning styles, similarities and differences, and the most prominent learning styles at MTsN Meureubo and SMPS Darul Aitami. This research uses a comparative method approach. The results showed that the learning styles of outstanding students at MTsN Meureubo were auditory and kinesthetic. Meanwhile, at SMPS Darul Aitami, the learning styles of exceptional students consist of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Students who excel at the two schools receive adequate motivation from their parents or boarding school caretakers, have the habit of reciting before and after sunset prayers, and participate in quizzes or the Olympics. Meanwhile, the difference in the learning styles of outstanding students at MTsN Meureubo and SMPS Darul Aitami is a visual learning style. Students with this visual learning style habitually study before dawn and read classic books at night. The most prominent learning styles of outstanding students at MTsN Meureubo are auditory and kinesthetic. The most prominent learning style at SMPS Darul Aitami is the visual learning style.

Abstract

Beggars (tramps and beggars) are people who live as vagabonds and at the same time beg because they don't have a permanent place to live and, for various reasons, have to live under bridges, public parks, roadsides, river banks, or various other public facilities to sleep and carry out their lives. Daily. The role of Social Service is a main task of the Organizational Structure related to social problems, homeless people, beggars and other social problems. This study aims to determine the role of the Social Service in handling sprawl in Meulaboh, West Aceh District and to find out the obstacles faced by the Social Service in handling sprawl in Meulaboh in West Aceh. This research is a type of field research. The qualitative method uses data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation, as well as data obtained from written documents related to this research. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the role of the Social Service is beneficial in handling Gepengs in Meulaboh, and it is necessary to work together with Satpol PP, and wilayatul hisbah to raid Gepengs. The subjects in this study were the Head of the Social Service, the Head of the Rehabilitation Sector, the Head of the Rehabilitation Section, and the Beggars. Obstacles faced by the Social Service in handling sprawl in Meulaboh City, West Aceh District, include a lack of funds and facilities.

Abstract

Al-Quran is the word of Allah SWT, which contains various rules and guidelines for human beings that regulate every aspect of life, including children's personalities. One of the letters about children's personalities is the letter al-A'raf, verses 31-33. In that verse, Allah SWT gives a picture to the believers of how to dress, eat, drink, and do vile things. With regard to the verse, the Qur'an provides an in-depth understanding and understanding of the way of dressing, eating, and drinking that the Sharia permits. This discussion aims to find out the interpretation of surah al-A'raf verses 31-33 related to personality and to know the values ​​of education emphasized in verse. Data collection techniques using literature studies. A child's personality is determined by Islamic education in the family by nurturing and guiding because children are born in a state of nature that requires guidance and direction to awaken a child's potential.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the implementation of the model blended Learning in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 2 Aceh Jaya as an effort to improve learning outcomes. The type of research used is classroom action research with a quantitative design. The research results show that implementing the blended learning model improves student learning outcomes in the first cycle meeting offline. Teacher activity obtained an average number of 3.53 in the high category (88.3%), student activity got an average number of 1.84 in the low category (46.21), and at meeting online, teacher activity obtained an average number of 3.66 in the high category (91.66%), student activity obtained an average number of 1.57 in the low category (39.44%). In Cycle II meeting online, the average teacher activity was 3.88 in the high category (97.2%), the average student activity was 2.74 in the medium category (46.21%), and at the meeting offline, teacher activity was on average 3.68 in the high category (92.08%) and student activity on average 3.19 in the high category (80.93%). The pretest was 20% complete in the first cycle and 45% post-test. Cycle II, pretest completeness value of 45% and 90% post-test. Overall, student learning outcomes improved by 70%.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes can be used as a benchmark to assess whether a school's education is successful. While learning outcomes are influenced by various factors, one of which is the provision of feedback by an educator in the learning process. An educator does this to create a fun and interesting classroom environment so that students can hone their creativity in thinking, which will impact increasing student learning outcomes. The results of this study concluded that there was an effect of providing feedback on student learning outcomes. This is evident from hypothesis testing using the regression formula obtained results of 0.35. So in this study, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and (Ho) is rejected, with a low level of relationship. Then, look for the effect of providing feedback using the simple regression formula with the result y = 0.066 + 0.298x in influencing student learning outcomes. Furthermore, from the calculation of the coefficient of determination for the effect of giving feedback, it has a contribution or influence of 1.26%. Then the rest is influenced by other factors, such as internal and external factors. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the effect of providing feedback on student learning outcomes is low.

Abstract

The port is one of a country's most important transportation infrastructures, especially in a maritime country like Indonesia. Ports can help improve the country's economy; with a port, a country's economic activities will be smoother. The existence of a port, this is also related to regional development. In essence, regional development is an effort to add value to what is owned by an area to improve the quality of life and increase the wealth of an area. The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of the existence of the Ferry Port on the economic development of the community in Gampong Teungoh, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The population in this study is the entire community of Gampong Teungoh, totalling 186 families, with a sample of 20%, namely 37.2 or the same as 37 respondents. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire with scale Guttman, then analyzed through simple statistical analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be seen that respondents answered "Yes". 79.85% and No 20.15%, it was concluded that the existence of the Ferry port positively impacted the socio-economic community in Gampong Teungoh, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this school action research is to determine the increase in teacher performance in carrying out effective learning through classroom observation supervision at MIN 8 West Aceh and to find out the effectiveness of classroom observation supervision in improving teacher performance in carrying out effective learning at MIN 8 West Aceh. The subjects in this study were all teachers at MIN 8 West Aceh, totaling 54 people. Data collection techniques used are observation and questionnaires. This research was carried out in two cycles: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive percentage. The results of the study show that the supervision of the principal is very influential in improving teacher performance on learning effectiveness. This is evidenced by an increase in teacher performance in each cycle, namely, the percentage of teacher completeness in cycle I reached 53.7%, while in cycle II, it reached 81.5%. Of the 54 teachers at MIN 8 West Aceh, after the action was carried out in cycle II, almost all had the awareness to improve their performance. This will have an impact on improving the quality of education in schools. Based on the results of the research above, the results of increasing teacher performance in carrying out effective learning reached 81.5%, so the supervision of class observations was said to be effective.

Abstract

BUMG is one of the efforts to improve the economy of rural communities. BUMG Suak Raya provides business capital loans to micro-entrepreneurs in Gampong Suak Raya. As Aceh is an area that applies Sharia principles, all aspects of life must be carried out by Islamic law. Writing this article aims to discover the application of Sharia economic principles in providing business capital to the community carried out by BUMG Gampong Suak Raya and the challenges BUMG Gampong Suak Raya faces in providing venture capital to the community. This research is qualitative field research, and data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, documentation, and data analysis using descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of Sharia principles in the distribution of business capital loans by BUMG Suak Raya is providing business capital loans to micro-entrepreneurs by BUMG Gampong Suak Raya as a form of helping the household economy and interest-free loans. The challenge faced in channeling business capital loans from BUMG Suak Raya to the community is that some members are not trustworthy, and BUMG Suak Raya obtains no benefits, so BUMG Suak Raya is difficult to develop.
