Abstract

This study aims to develop virtual learning media using the telagram bot application in learning biology of the functional protist material and the feasibility of virtual learning media using the telegram bot application in learning. Students have a high level of difficulty in understanding and describing the life cycle of fungi. Based on this, a solution is needed that can help students and lecturers to overcome the limitations of the object to be observed by presenting the media in learning. Multimedia will stimulate some students 'sensory organs, so that students' understanding of biology becomes more perfect. Compared to conventional learning, m-learning allows more opportunities for ad hoc collaboration and informal interaction among learners. This study uses a Research and Development type of research (research and development) by developing the DDD-E model, namely decide, design, develop and evaluate. The research results obtained that, the assessment of the material results from all aspects of the assessment for the validation of the telegram bot as a learning medium is the result of the validation of the interactive multimedia learning telegram bot, the biology of the protist function, in the presentation aspect, it is obtained 85% with a very valid category.The overall media feasibility aspect has a percentage of 87 , 6%. Thus the learning bot produced in this study can be used as a reference in multimedia learning courses. Abstrak. Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengembangkan media pembelajaran virtual dengan menggunakan aplikasi bot telagram dalam pembelajaran biologi materi protista fungi dan kelayakan media pembelajaran virtual meggunakan aplikasi bot telegram dalam pembelajaran. Siswa memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang tinggi dalam memahami dan mendeskripsikan siklus hidup jamur. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka diperlukan suatu solusi yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dan dosen dalam mengatasi keterbatasan objek yang akan diamati dengan penyajian media dalam pembelajaran. Multimedia akan merangsang beberapa organ sensorik siswa, sehingga pemahaman siswa terhadap biologi menjadi lebih sempurna. Dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional, m-learning memungkinkan adanya lebih banyak kesempatan untuk kolaborasi secara ad hoc dan berinteraksi secara Informal di antara pembelajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (penelitian dan pengembangan) dengan pengembangan model DDD-E yaitu decide, design, develop dan evaluate. Hasil  penelitian  yang  diperoleh  bahwa, penilaian  hasil materi  dari  keseluruhan  aspek  penilaian  untuk  validasi  bot telegram sebagai media pembelajaran  adalah  Hasil validasi multimedia pembelajaran interaktif bot telegram materi biologi protist fungi pada aspek penyajian diperoleh 85% dengan kategori sangat valid Aspek kelayakan media secara keseluruhan meiliki presentase 87,6%. Dengan demikian bot pembelajaran yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu referensi dalam mata kuliah multimedia pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 or The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) is a concept of developing education through the use of technological developments. The quality of education must be continuously improved through the transformation of the educational paradigm which emphasizes learning oriented to higher order thinking skills or often referred to as Higher Order Thinking Skills. One way to improve the quality of education is practicum activities using practicum Student Worksheets (LKS). This study aims to provide an overview of the problems of blood structure practicum worksheets in high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study and the subject of this research is the worksheets of blood structure practicum. The sampling technique used was total sampling, the sample consisted of 6 LKS. The instruments used include relevance analysis instruments, competency analysis and practical analysis as well as knowledge construction analysis. Based on the results of the analysis and trial of the work steps on one of the DKL regarding the material for plant growth and development, several shortcomings were found. These shortcomings are found in the work steps, tools and materials used and the presentation of observational data for most of the DKL. The reconstruction of DKL produces alternatives to DKL for plant growth and development by considering and completing the shortcomings of the analysis results from DKL that have been analyzed. This DKL reconstruction is expected to be able to construct students' knowledge well through practical activities carried out and be able to get 4C skills or 21st century skills needed today. Abstrak. Revolusi Industri 4.0 atau The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) merupakan konsep pengembangan pendidikan melalui pemanfaatan perkembangan teknologi. Mutu pendidikan harus terus ditingkatkan melalui transformasi paradigma pendidikan yang menekankan pada pembelajaran berorientasi keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau sering disebut dengan Higher Order Thinking Skills. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yaitu dengan kegiatan praktikum menggunakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai permasalahan LKS praktikum struktur darah di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan subjek penelitian ini adalah LKS praktikum struktur darah. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu total sampling, sampel terdiri dari 6 LKS. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi instrumen analisis relevansi, analisis kompetensi dan analisis praktikal serta analisis konstruksi pengetahuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan uji coba Langkah kerja terhadap salah satu DKL. mengenai materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan ditemukan beberapa kekurangan. Kekurangan tersebut didapatkann pada langkah kerja, alat dan bahan yang digunakan serta penyajian data pengamatan Sebagian besar DKL. Rekontruksi DKL menghasilkan alternatif DKL pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan dengan mempertimbangkan dan melengkapi kekurangan hasil analisis dari DKL yang sudah di analisis. Rekontruksi DKL ini diharapkan mampu mengkontruksi pengetahuan peserta didik dengan baik melalui kegiatan praktikum yang dilakukan serta mampu mendapatkan keterampilan 4C atau keterampilan abad 21 yang dibutuhkan saat ini.

Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes of students in learning biology are still low. This study aims to determine the differences in students' cognitive learning outcomes in online learning through google classroom and whatsapp messenger at SMP Negeri 4 Bengkulu Tengah. The research was carried out in January-March 2021, using pre-experimental research methods, pre-experimental one group pre-test-post-test design. The population is class VIII SMPN 4 Bengkulu Tengah, totaling 86 students, with a sample of 43 students. Collecting data with test questions of students' cognitive learning outcomes. The results showed that there was no difference between students' cognitive learning outcomes in online learning through google classroom and whatsapp messenger at SMPN 4 Bengkulu Tengah. Abstrak. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif  siswa pada pemebelajaran daring melalui google classroom   dan whatsapp mesenger Di SMP Negeri 4 Bengkulu Tengah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2021, menggunakan metode penelitian pra eksperimen, desain pre-eksperiment one group pre-test-post-test. Populasi adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Bengkulu Tengah yang berjumlah 86 siswa, dengan sampel 43 siswa.  Pengumpulan data dengan soal tes hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran daring melaui google classroom dan  whatsapp mesenger Di SMPN 4 Bengkulu Tengah.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the final product in the form of LKPD based on Guided Inquiry for Invertebrates. The development model used in this research is the Plomp development model which consists of three stages of development. The LKPD that has been produced is then validated by design experts and material experts to determine the suitability of the products developed. The LKPD that has been revised and declared feasible by the expert (validator) is then tested in class X high school students and biology teachers. Based on the assessment of design experts, it was found that the LKPD design was very feasible, with a score of 56 or 87.5%. Meanwhile, from the results of the material expert assessment, it was found that the material on the LKPD was very feasible, with a score of 104 or 81.25%. The results of individual trials and small group trials showed that the LKPD had a very practical level of practicality, with a practicality score of 38.33 and 39.5, respectively. Likewise, the results of the practicality assessment by the teacher showed that the LKPD has a very practical level of practicality, with a practicality score of 36. Thus, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on Guided Inquiry on Invertebrate Subject Matter is very feasible and practical to be used in learning activities students in class X of Senior High School. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan produk akhir berupa LKPD berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Materi Pokok Bahasan Invertebrata. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan pengembangan. LKPD yang telah dihasilkan kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli desain dan ahli materi untuk mengetahui kesesuaian dari produk yang dikembangkan. LKPD yang telah direvisi dan dinyatakan layak oleh ahli (validator) kemudian diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas X SMA dan guru mata pelajaran biologi. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli desain, didapatkan bahwa desain LKPD berada sudah sangat layak, dengan perolehan skor sebesar 56 atau 87,5%. Sementara dari hasil penilaian ahli materi, didapatkan bahwa materi pada LKPD sudah sangat layak, dengan perolehan skor sebesar104 atau 81,25%. Hasil ujicoba perorangan dan ujicoba kelompok kecil didapatkan bahwa LKPD memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sangat praktis, dengan perolehan skor praktikalitas masing-masing sebesar 38,33 dan 39,5. Begitupula hasil penilaian praktikalitas oleh guru didapatkan bahwa LKPD memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sangat praktis, dengan perolehan skor praktikalitas sebesar 36. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Materi Pokok Bahasan Invertebrata sudah sangat layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada siswa kelas X SMA.

Abstract

This study to analyze the need for problem solving skills of class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, develop learning tools on ecosystem materials, and determine the validity and reliability of learning device. The research method used is Thiagarajan et al. The learning tools developed consisted of 6 lesson plans and 6 student worksheets based on the levels of inquiry accompanied by socio-scientific issues, handout, power point, and evaluation question. The results obtained were the validity of 6 lesson plans and 6 student worksheet, handout, power point, and evaluation question, namely v ≥ 0,8 (valid). The result of interrater reliability was using ICC on 5 lesson plans and 5 student worksheets, power point are 0,75-0,9 (good). While the reliability on 1 lesson plan and 1 student worksheets, handout, and evaluation question got a value of 0,5-0,75 (moderate). Developed learning tools were asserted worthy to use. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran pada materi ekosistem, dan mengetahui validitas serta reliabilitas perangkat pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) mengacu pada model Four-D yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan, dkk. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri dari 6 buah RPP dan 6 buah LKPD berdasarkan tingkatan model levels of inquiry disertai socio-scientific issues, handout, power point, dan soal evaluasi. Diperoleh hasil validitas 6 buah RPP dan 6 buah LKPD, handout, power point, dan soal evaluasi yaitu v ≥ 0,8 (valid). Hasil reliabilitas antar rater menggunakan ICC pada 5 buah RPP dan 5 buah LKPD, media pembelajaran yaitu 0,75-0,9 (baik). Sedangkan reliabilitas pada 1 buah RPP dan 1 buah LKPD, handout, dan soal evaluasi mendapatkan nilai 0,5-0,75 (sedang). Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Covid-19 had brought changes in various aspects of life, one of them in education, by implementing an online system. Implementing learning with an online system that changes suddenly makes the learning process from home ineffective because there are still many obstacles in the form of infrastructure and technical barriers faced by students, teachers, and parents. Teachers need to be more adaptive, creative, and innovative and choose relevant learning models to understand the material better. This research aims to describe the learning model used and analyze the implementation of the online-based learning model in biology class XI Senior SMA/MA negeri in Tuban Regency. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection methods are interviews, observations, and documentation, so that the research instruments used in this study are interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. The analysis technique follows the data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that SMAN 1 Grabagan, SMAN 1 Plumpang, and MAN 2 Tuban used the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. While at MAN 1 Tuban using the Problem based learning (PBL) model, and SMAN 1 Soko using the online learning method. The implementation of the learning model at SMAN 1 Grabagan, SMAN 1 Plumpang and MAN 2 Tuban was carried out according to the syntax of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. However, several stages were not used. While the implementation of the learning model at MAN 2 Tuban was carried out according to the syntax of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model and several stages were not implemented. The implementation of learning carried out at SMAN 1 Grabagan uses the online method. Abstrak. Covid-19 membawa perubahan bidang pendidikan dengan menerapkan sistem daring. Pembelajaran sistem daring yang berubah secara mendadak membuat proses belajar belum dapat dikatakan efektif secara keseluruhan, sehingga menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi guru untuk lebih adaptif, kreatif, dan inovatif serta dapat memilih model pembelajaran yang relevan agar pemahaman siswa terhadap materi menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran yang digunakan dan menganalisis implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis daring pada mata pelajaran biologi kelas XI SMA/MA negeri di Kabupaten Tuban. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi model pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Grabagan, SMAN 1 Plumpang, dan MAN 2 Tuban terlaksana sesuai sintaks Contextual Teaching and Learning meskipun beberapa tahapan tidak digunakan. Implementasi model pembelajaran di MAN 2 Tuban terlaksana sesuai sintaks Problem Based Learning meskipun beberapa tahapan tidak terlaksana. Implementasi pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Grabagan menggunakan daring method.

Abstract

Biology Education Study Program students, FKIP UAD have a learning style that tends to be auditive-visual. Based on these student characteristics, it is necessary to select appropriate and appropriate learning media to retain the information provided as much as possible. Therefore it is required to use learning media to accommodate student learning styles, namely by using video learning media. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using video learning material on environmental pollution in the Environmental Science course. Video learning of environmental pollution material used includes water, soil, and air pollution. The research design is one-group pretest-postest design. The research was conduct at the Biology Education Study Program FKIP UAD in March-August 2018. The population in this study were all students of the Biology Education Study Program FKIP UAD semester VI academic year 2017-2018,  125 people (class A, B, C). Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The instruments used were the observation sheet and pre-post test. Data analysis includes prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing using the gain score and t-test. The results of the gain score for classes A, B, and C were obtained in the moderate category (0.3 ≤ g ≥0.7), meaning that there was an increase in learning outcomes using video learning. The t-test shows a significant difference between the pretest and post-test. The video learning of environmental pollution material is effectively used in the learning process of Environmental Science. Abstrak. Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UAD memiliki gaya belajar yang cenderung auditif-visual. Berdasarkan karakteristik mahasiswa tersebut diperlukan pemilihan media pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai. Oleh karena itu perlu menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dapat mengakomodir gaya belajar mahasiswa, yaitu dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran video. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan video learning materi pencemaran lingkungan pada mata kuliah Ilmu Lingkungan. Video learning materi pencemaran lingkungan yang digunakan meliputi materi pencemaran air, tanah, dan udara. Desain penelitian yaitu  one-group pretest-postest design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UAD pada bulan Maret–Agustus 2018. Sampel penelitian ini mahasiswa semester VI prodi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UAD tahun akademik 2017-2018, berjumlah 125 orang (kelas A,B,C). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dan soal. Teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif, analisis data meliputi uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis menggunakan gain score dan uji t. Hasil gain score untuk kelas A, B, dan C diperoleh kategori sedang (0,3 ≤ g ≥0,7), artinya terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan video learning. Hasil uji t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pretes dan postes sehingga video learning materi pencemaran lingkungan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Ilmu Lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of the Guided Inquiry learning model on students' problem-solving abilities; (2) the effect of Concept Understanding level on students' Problem Solving Ability; (3) the interaction between the Guided Inquiry learning model and the level of Concept Understanding on students' Problem Solving Ability. This study uses a Quasi Experimental Design with a pretest-posttest Control Group Design model. The population in this study was class VII SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci. The sample uses probability sampling which includes random sampling. To collect the data used is a test of problem solving skills, tests of understanding the concept and documentation. Data analysis used Two-Way Anova.     ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran Inquiri Terbimbing terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah siswa; (2) pengaruh tingkat Pemahaman Konsep terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah siswa; (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran Inquiri Terbimbing dengan tingkat Pemahaman Konsep terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan model pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci. Sampelnya menggunakan probability Sampling yang meliputi Random Sampling. Untuk mengumpulkan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, tes pemahaman konsep serta dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan Anava Dua Arah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Model pembelajaran Inquiri terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci; 2) Pemahaman konsep tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci; serta 3) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran Inquiri terbimbing dengan pemahaman konsep terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci.

Abstract

Learning in schools is carried out online in Jambi City. This is done to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of the study was to analyze the implementation of online learning and find out the obstacles encountered by science subject teachers in Jambi City Junior High Schools during online learning. This type of research is a mixed method using an explanatory mixed method research design. Researchers distributed survey questionnaires via google form to respondents and conducted interviews via whatsapp. The data were analyzed using SPSS to determine the validity and reliability with the Cronbach alpha test. The results showed that the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic for science subject teachers at Jambi City Junior High School with the online learning planning stage, the online learning process stage and the online learning assessment stage had been carried out with various obstacles during its implementation. One of the most conspicuous obstacles is that 80.36% of the teachers are digital immigrant generations so that these teachers include teachers who have limited human resources, namely lack of technology (internet) skills. Constraints encountered during the implementation of online learning are limited human resources, limited facilities and infrastructure and constraints on students' personalities. Abstrak. Pembelajaran di sekolah dilaksanakan secara daring di Kota Jambi. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mencegah penularan virus covid-19. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring dan mengetahui kendala yang ditemui guru mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Kota Jambi selama pembelajaran daring. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian campuran (mix method) dengan menggunakan desain eksplanatori (explanatory mixed method research design). Peneliti menyebarkan angket survey via google form kepada responden dan melakukan wawancara via whatsapp. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS untuk mengetahui Validitas dan Reliabilitas dengan uji Cronbach alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi covid 19 pada guru mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Kota Jambi dengan tahap perencanaan pembelajaran daring, tahap proses pembelajaran daring dan tahap penilaian pembelajaran daring telah dilaksanakan dengan berbagai kendala selama pelaksanaanya. Salah satu kendala yang paling mencolok adalah 80,36% guru tersebut merupakan generasi digital immigrant sehingga guru-guru tersebut termasuk guru yang memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yaitu kurang menguasai teknologi (internet). Kendala yang ditemui selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yaitu keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana dan kendala pada pribadi siswa.
