Abstract

This research focus include: 1) the educational role of Majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq in an effort to increase community worship in Cijati village, Majalengka regency, 2) Implementation of community worship activities in Majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq, Cijati village, Majalengka regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of the role of Majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq in an effort to increase public worship in Cijati village and to determine the implementation of community worship activities as well as supporting and inhibiting factors of Majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq in an effort to increase public worship in Cijati village, Majalengka regency. This study is a type of descriptive qualitative research using Islamic counseling guidance approach and sociological approach. Data collection using observation, interview and documentation methods, with data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq in an effort to improve public worship in Cijati Village is to hold activities: routine recitation, tadarrusan, congregational prayers, carrying out activities such as community service, giving religious lectures and instilling religious understanding to the community against the values of Islamic teachings, all of which are very influential, while the, speaker/muballig and strong motivation from the manager and coach of Majelis Ta'lim. As for the inhibiting factors of the activities of the Majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq, namely the lack of funds and lack of awareness of some members of the Majelis Ta'lim actively attending each activity. Implications of the study, expected to Majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq in order to continue to increase its role in fostering and improving public worship and remain active and consistent in carrying out each activity. In addition, it is also expected to all competent parties such as coaches and teachers/muballig, in order to help foster members of the Majelis Ta'lim Al-Mubaroq.

Abstract

In this modern era, the YouTube application is one of the media to improve students' English listening learning, one of which is through the TED YouTube channel. It also applies to students at IAIN Cirebon. However, in the process, it is not known whether this media has a positive impact or not in improving students' English listening learning. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of learning media from the TED YouTube channel on English listening learning for IAIN Cirebon students. This research used the descriptive quantitative method. The author surveyed the 3rd semester TBI students of IAIN Cirebon using an online questionnaire. The findings show that the use of media from the TED YouTube channel has a good impact on improving the English listening skills of IAIN Cirebon students. These positive impacts include increasing English vocabulary, students' ability to identify topics, and motivating students to practice English listening skills. In addition, students consider using video media from the TED YouTube channel as a fun way to practice English listening skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Critical Multiliteracy model on the reading comprehension ability of fifth graders at State Elementary School (SDN) 1 Majasem. The approach used in this research is quantitative. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population was the fifth-grade elementary school at SDN 1 Majasem. The sample of this research is 24 students. The data collection technique in this study used a test in the form of multiple choice questions and a description of 20 questions. The research data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and t-test. Based on the study's results, it is known that the multiliteracy learning model has a significant effect on students' reading comprehension skills. This result can be seen from the significance value is 0.013 < 0.05. Thus, the critical multiliteracy learning model positively impacts students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

Improving student learning outcomes is one of the goals of education. This study aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning through animal food board demonstration for improving student learning outcomes in learning Natural Sciences (IPA) for class 4 MI Salafiyah Cirebon City, West Java, Indonesia. The approach used in this research is quantitative, while the method used is the pre-experimental method with the research design used is one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were all 4th-grade students of MI Salafiyyah Cirebon City. The sample of this study was 25 students. Data were collected through a test where there was a pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed through statistical descriptive, normality, homogeneity, and Mann-Whitney statistical tests using SPSS version 16 for windows. Based on the study results, the pre-test score was 65.60, and the post-test score was 90.20. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney test with = 0.05, a significance value of 0.000 was obtained. The results obtained were 0.000 <0.05 indicating a significant difference, there was a significant effect on the difference in the treatment applied, in other words, an increase in student learning outcomes by applying the Cooperative learning model by using animal food board demonstration of educative teaching aids in science subjects (Natural Sciences/IPA) significantly.

Abstract

This study describes the relationship between elementary school students' critical thinking and writing skills. The main objective of this research is to describe students' writing and critical thinking skills through project-based learning models. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type. The research design used was a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this study was 50 students who were divided into 25 experimental groups and 25 students in the control class. This research selects 6th-grade students from one school in Bandung. The data collection instrument in this study used a description test to determine students' critical thinking and an assignment test to make persuasive texts to assess students' writing skills. The ANOVA test was used to determine the relationship between critical thinking and students' writing skills. The T-test was used to determine the differences in students' ability to write persuasive texts before and after receiving treatment with the project-based learning model. The results showed a good correlation between critical thinking and students' writing skills. In addition, there is a significant difference in students' writing skills before and after learning using the project-based learning model. It can be seen from the significance value of 0.00 <0.05. Thus the project-based learning model has a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking in learning to write and writing skills for elementary school students.

Abstract

Outdoor Learning activities are essential to developing children's abilities. Children's independent development is essential to explore children's abilities. Growth and development are continuous processes from conception to adulthood influenced by intrinsic or environmental factors. Development is an increase in abilities in body structures and functions in a regular and predictable pattern as a result of the maturing process. The purpose of this study was to statistically analyze the effect of project-based outdoor learning activities on children's independent development. The method used in this research is pre-experiment. The types of design used in the research are pre-test-post-test. The population studied is kindergarten children influenced by project-based author learning activities on children's independence. The sampling technique used in this study is total sampling. Research showed that the t-test resulted in 0.000 < 0.05. It shows that using the outdoor learning method for children's developing independence is more significant than before when only using the method of conversing in class. Significantly, project-based outdoor learning affects the growth and development of children's independence aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education can be seen in the success of formal education in the form of student achievement. A learning process in the activities determines student achievement carried out by teachers and students. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant influence of teacher motivation on learning achievement at Islamic Senior High Schools statistically. This research used the associative quantitative method to determine the effect or relationship between two or more variables. This research place is at the Islamic Senior High School of Nurussyahid, Kertajati, Majalengka, Indonesia. The number of samples is a total sampling of 18 teachers. The result shows that implementing teacher work motivation in Islamic Senior High School Nurussyahid can be categorized as good. The achievement of Islamic Senior High School of Nurussyahid students can be categorized as good. Implementing teacher work motivation has a positive and significant effect on student achievement. The success or failure of a student's achievement in Islamic Senior High School of them is determined by the provision of motivation by teachers.

Abstract

The fading of character values causes problems such as fights, brawls, and violence. Through the reform of educational programs, it can realize morals for the future sustainability of the younger generation. Life skills shape humans into quality humans and direct the goals of human life. The purpose of this research is to describe the Islamic educational values and the life skills of students at the University. This research is field research and uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research location is on the female campus of University of Darussalam Gontor, with research subjects being Kyai, Ustadz, Ustadzah, administrators, and students. Primary data is sourced from interviews, and secondary data is sourced from relevant books, articles, and documents. Based on data analysis research and interviews, it can be concluded that the foundation of the philosophy at University of Darussalam Gontor is guided by the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah, the soul/philosophy of life. The fostering of student life skills creates University of Darussalam Gontor graduates who can fight for their totality selflessly and firmly to their Islam beliefs. They are implementing campus activities by optimizing the 24-hour educational process based on discipline in the Islamic boarding school curriculum.

Abstract

In the learning process of course, some things hinder the learning process, especially learning motivation. This study aims to raise issues and efforts to increase student motivation at MTSN (State Islamic Junior High School) 11 Cirebon with the humanistic counseling method. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The study results show that the humanistic counseling method has been applied at MTSN 11 Cirebon. Teachers cannot only rely on one method but need to integrate humanistic, behavioristic, and psychoanalytic. Some of the problems of student motivation at MTSN 11 Cirebon are the lack of student activity in the classroom, students still being reluctant to the teacher, a crisis of self-confidence, not collecting assignments, etc. As for some of the efforts and basic techniques of teachers using humanistic counseling, the first is to combine humanistic values ​​in the counseling system, such as self-awareness, freedom of opinion, responsibility, search for meaning in the learning process, and respect for time. Second, the teacher tries to help students to have a correct understanding of learning motivation. The teachers are very important in helping students to study well so that learning outcomes are maximized.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease has an impact on the education sector. Educators use a combined learning method between face-to-face and online learning to break the chain of virus spread. One of the proper methods is blended learning with the help of information and communication technology to achieve learning objectives. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the blended learning method on the physical examination abilities of nursing students. This study uses a pre-experiment. The research location is in STIKes (College of Health Sciences), Cirebon, Indonesia, with a sample of 100 Nursing students. The technique uses purposive sampling and the N-Gain value analysis. The result shows a significant difference in the competence of the physical examination before and after getting the blended learning method. The blended learning method is proven effective in increasing the competence of the physical examination of nursing students. In addition, an exciting learning process through online and conventional media provides a high satisfaction value. Blended learning is one of the learning solutions in the new era of the COVID-19 pandemic to suppress the spread of COVID-19 and improve students' abilities.
