Abstract

Every year, the number of vehicles is increasing due to the development of the population, economy and improvement in living standard. Although there are parking lots, there are still many drivers who park their vehiclesin places where they can disrupt the smooth flow of traffic. The application of a parking reporting system uses the Google Maps API to mark areas and get coordinates for reporting illegal parking. The process of marking the parking ban area uses the polygon method with the number of roads as test data as many as 14 street names, 25 parking ban areas and 100 coordinate points (latitude, longitude). Every report on illegal parking has images and coordinates of location reporting that will automatically be validated by the system. The validation process by the system uses the JavaScript API Geometry library to get the results of whether a reported vehicle is in the parking ban area. Of the 12 coordinate points randomly placed with 6 positions insidethe parking ban area and 6 outside the parking ban area, the system is ableto validate the data correctly.

Abstract

Abstract— Literally embedded systems are defined as equipment that computes a particular job. Embedded Linux System was also developed as a means of education, one of which is ED-255EK Embedded Education Platform, designed to be very practical and consume very low power. ED-255EK is also equipped with a PXA255 processor that is compatible with ARM version 5TE ISA, so it can be used to carry out various kinds of lab work or experiments on embedded systems. The working principle of this tool begins with the configuration of data communication between Fedora Linux and ED-255EK. When the communication goes well, it is downloaded by the ED-255EK system to a laptop or computer that has been installed with the Fedora 9.0 Linux operating system. To take advantage of the ED-255FPGA module, driver module installation is required first, after which the application program is installed. Laptops or computers that have installed the Fedora 9.0 Linux operating system will act as input and output programs making it easier to monitor each module that is being run. The module used is the ARM 1923 Robot Module and Voice Module ED4321.

Abstract

Abstract—Prima Medika Hospital is a nationally accredited hospital with the highest category or Plenary in 2016. With the highest patient visit rate of 59,289 people in 2017 and an average occupancy rate of 79.89% is entered into the ideal category with electricity consumption of 2,299,077 kWh / year. Electricity expenses come from 5 equipment groups, namely: lighting equipment group 20.08%, equipment for air arrangement system 56.12%, medical equipment 8.92%, office equipment 5.30% and utilities utilities 9.57%. From the initial energy audit calculation, the Energy Consumption Intensity index is 344.23 kWh / m² / year and this is included in the Intensive Energy category or shows wasteful energy use. Energy conservation efforts will be carried out on all equipment groups, especially to the equipment of the air structuring system which is the biggest energy absorber starting from the assumption of equipment operating hour patterns and then searching for energy-saving potentials starting from the lighting equipment group in the form of lamp replacement with Light type Emitting Diode, from the office equipment group with the control of operating hours of Dispenser equipment and from the group of air structuring equipment with the replacement of standard AC technology into AC inverters, the total potential of electricity energy savings was 613,813.2 kwh / year or 26.70% so if the proposed Energy Saving Opportunity can be implemented then the final value can be reduced to 252.33 kWh / m² / Year or included in the Energy Standard category or already efficient

Abstract

The quality of a teacher has become the center of attention in research in the field of education. The quality of the teacher is not only measured by the qualifications and insights of a teacher, but also dedication and commitment in the classroom One of the things that can be used to assess the quality of teachers is to assess the opinions of students. Therefore, student opinions at the end of the class such as questionnaires are needed to help teachers understand student learning behavior and improve the quality of teaching in the classroom. Opinion summarization is a method to make summaries automatically from a set of opinions about a particular target. Opinion summarization will explore the features of one's opinion, capture whether the opinion includes positive or negative opinions, then summarize the results. Based on the results of testing and analysis that has been done in the previous discussion, it can be concluded that the accuracy value obtained is 93,44% with 97,66% precision and 92,85%. recall. This proves that the system that has been built is accurate and can help the company to see the performance of the teachers.

Abstract

One of the facilities provided by cellular phones is to send data in the form of short messages via Short Message Service (SMS). Most people use SMS services more often than phone services because they are cheap and easy to use. Open networks, easy access, standard platform and open source development bring security threats such as viruses, phishing, spam on SMS. Security information in SMS can be done by encrypting messages to be sent. The AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm is a standard for data encryption, suitable for scenarios where memory and processing capabilities are very limited as in mobile devices. Encryption for text data types can also use the Blowfish algorithm, where the Blowfish algorithm can perform encryption and decryption with better performance compared to other symmetric algorithms if packet data size changes. Research designing systems that can be utilized by users who want to send a confidential information to someone via SMS without fear of information from the message will be known by others. The method used by the system in encrypt and decrypt the message is AES method and Blowfish Cipher which implementation using java programming language on Android.

Abstract

Dhyana Pura University (Undhira) is one of the higher education institutions that utilize the advancement of information technology to achieve optimal results. The observation shows that bandwidth utilization is not well managed. On this basis, this study aims to analyze Quality of Service (QoS) with parameters throughput, delay, packet loss, jitter and bandwidth by Class Based Queuing (CBQ) methods as a queue method that regulates usage network bandwidth allocated to each user. This study also measured the level of employee satisfaction using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The results of this study indicate that the CBQ method is a method of bandwidth management in reducing bandwidth in crisis clients, so as to increase employee satisfaction in using internet services in the process of service for students.

Abstract

The most frequently used instrument by College Indonesia nor the world as reference materials to evaluate performance and productivity based on website is through the database of appraisers, including World University namely Webometrics and 4ICU. There are a number of differences regarding the indicators used by the two ranking databases. The difference was certainly potent determination of ranking colleges that are also different. The purpose of this study is to devise a strategic plan policy that is capable of being a guide for local colleges in improving its quality to global competition. Based on the results of the calculation Spearman Rank, then retrieved the value of the koefisiensi correlation of 0,867 (very strong). Based on the correlation or relationship between indicators and 4ICU Webometrics rating, backlinks and the number of scientific publications is a factor that affects the ranking.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang begitu pesat dewasa menjadi salah satu jawaban bagi pemenuhan kebutuhan akan sistem informasi dari segala jenis organisasi. Kemampuan teknologi informasi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas proses bisnis dalam suatu organisasi menjadikan teknologi informasi dipercaya mampu menjadi alat bantu dalam mempercepat langkah organisasi mencapai tujuan bisnis. Universitas sebagai salah satu organisasi pendidikan tidak lepas dari pemanfaatan teknologi informasi ini. Pengembangan layanan teknologi informasi menjadi begitu penting untuk mendukung dan memberikan pelayanan maksimal pada sektor layanan pendidikan. Wujud nyata dari pengembangan teknologi informasi dalam layanan pendidikan berupa pengembangan sistem informasi akademik. Untuk mengetahui tingkat layanan yang telah berhasil diberikan bagi pengguna melalui implementasi sistem informasi akademik tentu memerlukan evaluasi dalam bentuk tata kelola sistem informasi. Angka COBIT telah menyediakan parameter penilaian yang dapat memberikan ukuran setinggi dan sebaik apa pengeleloaan dan performa teknologi informasi pada suatu lembaga dengan menggunakan maturity model. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk melakukan pengumpulan, mengolah, menganalisis serta menyimpulkan data guna memperoleh maturity level pada wilayah COBIT 4.1. Jumlah responden yang akan dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 120 orang responden. Pengolahan data yang diperoleh dari rata-rata atas seluruh proses TI memiliki tingkat kematangan saat ini memberikan hasil yang cukup baik dengan tingkat maturity sebesar 2.95. Dengan tingkat kematangan harapan sebesar 5, berarti terdapat kesenjangan kematangan sehingga perlu diberikan strategi perbaikan yang berisi langkah-langkah untuk mencapai tingkat kematangan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Menjangan feeder is a medium-voltage network system which distributes electricity throughout Gilimanuk and some areas in Buleleng. It has 69 distribution substations, which one of them, substation GR088, contributes to the highest value of the total harmonic distortion (THDi). In this research, the effect of harmonic distortions on losses at low voltage system of substation GR088 will be evaluated. The method used in this study is direct measurement of harmonic distortions at each low-voltage costumer whose electricity is generated by substation GR088 at Menjangan Feeder. Software is also used to perform harmonic load flow analysis and simulations. The total value of losses on transformer and low voltage system of substation GR088 Menjangan feeder, in a no-harmonic condition is 1481,689 Watt. On under-harmonic condition, the total value of losses is 1552,5 Watt. Therefore there is a 70,811 Watt difference between the two conditions. At this case, beside the heat created by the harmonic distortion that can affect the performance of transformers, it also cause a quite great value of losses, which is 1,699 kWh per day, or approximately 620 kWh per year. It means the harmonic distortion in substation GR088 can cause PT PLN (Persero) lose Rp.910.018,79 per year.

Abstract

Smartapps is an integrated one-door service information system that is intended to provide information related to the filing of RFID cards for employees and lecturers, submission of vehicle number plate data, checking and printing of employee attendance reports, and reports on the distribution of suits and books for new students. The development of this application model refers to the problems that arise that are all administrative processes so far still using manual systems that have an impact on the efficiency of service time to be longer. Therefore the goal achieved from this research is that the system works well and is able to facilitate the management of integrated data so that it can be accessed quickly by referring to the results of system testing which shows the user response rate reaches 89.87% of the total 40 respondents.
