Abstract

The population of Indonesia is very large, the majority are women, if properly guided anddirected it will be workers who are very favorable for development efforts. Protection policiesthat are specific to women workers in addition directed to ensure the safety and healthassociated with reproductive functions inherent in self female workers also unsure equality ofemployment opportunities and the security treatment without discrimination in the workplace(equality and gender justice). As a saveguard against the work need to be increased throughimproved working condition, working condition, as mell as working relationship in order toimprove the welfare of workers as a whole and for workers and protection of women need to beconsidered in accordance with the status and dignity. PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital inYogyakarta that is one of the mayor hospitals in Yogyakarta City are certainly a lot of hiringnurse with the number of male nurse as many as 175 people and nursing women as many as226 people. By employing female nurse was then the hospital must also provide the rights ofwomen to nurse in accordance with the minimum set by law. The purpose of this study was tofind out execution protection against female nurses in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital inYogyakarta.The subject of this study was female nurses who were taken asa many as 3 people endthe head of personal. Data taken by the interview guide. This was qualitative research. Dataanalysis was done by using an explanation (explanation building).Implementation of working time there is excess of 2 hours for shift 3 (night) that have notbeen counted as overtime, RSU PKU Muhammadiyah imposed only official holiday for 3 day,the granting of maternity leave / birth / biological autumn, annual leave has been granted inaccordandance with the regulations, provision of food and drinks for female nurses who work innight shift has not complied with, the implementation of remuneration are accordance withexisting regulations, the implementation Jamsostek compliance with regulations.

Abstract

Background: Gender-based violence in Indonesia is that many cases occur. Since 1998,violence in dating the Rifka Annisa Womens Crisis Center is a case of the second largest afterthe violence against wives. Emotional violence in dating can lead to psychological effects, andone of the psychological effect is the occurrence of anxiety. Anxiety itself can causepsychological effects. The aimof the research to determine the relationship between violence onanxiety in dating young women in Purworejo District.Methods: Cross Sectional study design to girls at SMK SMAN 3 and 6 of Dating Violence (KDP)in Purworejo District 120.Results: The Violence of the most experienced young women is sexual violence because ofbeing kissed forcefully by 34.71%. Physical violence from being hit by 30.83%. Violenceeconomy because without the willingness to buy credit for as much as 25.83% and 17.50%experienced emotional abuse because they feel insulted about the treatment the couple whomake it a laughing stock. Age has an effect on anxiety, where anxiety is more risky in womenwho experience sexual violence against a background of 14-16 years of middle age.Conclusion: There was a significant association between dating violence and anxiety in youngwomen in Purworejo District (p=0,0014 RP= 3,1 dan 95% CI=1,5-6,3).Keywords: Dating Violence, Anxiety, Adolescent

Abstract

Background: Malaria is one of reemerging diseases and ranked in 10th position as deadly diseases. Malaria is also the 5thdeadly infective disease in the world. Malaria is tropical disease that been main cause of death, each year 40% of world inhabitant have risk of malaria disease or approximately 300 –  500 million of cases. About 1  –  3 millions of people died because of malaria each year. In Indonesia, about 50% of Indonesian people live in malaria endemic area. According to WHO, not less than 30 million cases of malaria occurs each year in Indonesia about 30.000 people were died.This study is purposed to recognize risk factors in relation with malaria incident in working area of Paruga Puskesmas (Public Health Service), Bima City, of Nusa Tenggara Barat.Methods: This was analytic-observational research using case-control approach. Sampling was performed in a way of purposive sampling. Cases in this study were malaria sufferer, who takes medical care in Puskesmas of Paruga and those who counted to Mass Blood Survey program on May, 2008. Control was another diseases sufferer who takes medical care in Puskesmas of Paruga and not suffers malaria according to Mass Blood Survey as shown in laboratory examination result.Results: There was relation between distance of house, mosquitos propagation place as well as mosquitos shelter and malaria incident as seen from OR=5,41, CI=1,38<OR<24,81, p=0,001. There was no relation between habit of setting mosquito net and malaria incident as seen from OR=1,00, CI=0,52<OR<1,94,  p=1,00. There was relation between habit of setting mosquito essence and malaria incident as seen from OR= 2,25,  CI=1,05<OR< 3,88,  p=0,023. There was no relation between habit of going out at night and malaria incident as seen from OR=1,67, CI=0,73<OR<3,82, p=0,184. There was relation between knowledge and malaria incident as seen from  OR=1,99, CI=1,02<OR<3,88, p=0,029. There was no relation between malaria elucidation and malaria incident as seen from OR=0,94, CI=0,43<OR<2,03, p=0,855.Conclusion: Distance of house, mosquitos propagation place as well as mosquitos shelter, habit of setting mosquito net, and knowledge was malaria risk factors in working area of Paruga Puskesmas (Public Health Service), Bima City, of Nusa Tenggara Barat.Keywords: Risk factors, malaria, Puskesmas of Paruga (Paruga Public Health Service)

Abstract

Background: The Hospital of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is a hospital that has an Islamic background. Based on the writers observation that was made on March 2, 2011 at the inpatient RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, in getting that there are many patients who should be treated in the inpatient section contained three classes of complexity in it, both in terms of economic and social class. This is a challenge for nurses in the hospitalization. Based on the results of interviews with staff personnel at the hospital found that PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta there are regular activities for the employees of lectures every Wednesday and Saturday. For employees with years of service 15, 20, 25 and 30 years there is also a reward that is usually given on special milad hospital. This is part of organizational culture in hospitals. Based on the above, the author wants to examine the relationship of organizational culture with organizational commitment of nurse inpatient section class II and III hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Methods: This study was an analytical cross sectional study design. Hypothesis test used was kendalls tau correlation. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Instrument in the study is a questionnaire. Results: Based on bivariate analysis of organizational culture with the organizational commitment, obtained P value 0.008 < ? 0.05, for the analysis of bivariate sub variable the demand of work, interpersonal relations, support work and the physical work environment with a organizational commitment the obtained the P value in a row 0.016, 0.024, 0.041, 0.044 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship of organizational culture and its sub-variables with organizational commitment of nurse-inpatient section class II and III hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship of organizational culture and sub variable the demand of work, interpersonal relations, support of work and the physical work environment with organizational commitment of nurs-inpatient section class II and III hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Abstract

Background: Elderly Group is included into nutritional susceptible group because of specific feature causing this group easily affected by malnutrition. Age increasing in someone causes a low metabolism velocity. It can be solved by giving nutritional need adequate for elderly. Thus, paying attention to con-sumption pattern is an important thing to keep their nutritional status. Aside from giving a good nutrition, physical activity is also a thing that should be paid attention to in elderly. The aims of this research are for consumption pattern, physical activity, nutritional status, and relation between consumption pattern and physical activity with nutritional status in elderly in Panti Sosial Trena Werdha (PTSW) Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta, at year 2011. Methods: Cross sectional was chosen as the design of this research. Population in this research was all elderly in PTSW Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta. Sample taken in this research was population that filled inclu-sion criteria established by the researcher, so that sample obtained 53 people. Instrument research used was direct measure and questionnaire interview, and analyze used was Chi square. Results: Based on bi-variety test, there is no significant relation between consumption pattern and nutri-tional status, seen from RP=0,811 with Confident Interval 0,479<RP<1,372. And there is no significant relation between physical activity and nutritional status, seen from RP= 1,005 with Confident Interval 0,638<RP<1,585. Conclusion: There is no significant relation between consumption patterns and physical activity with nutritional status in elderly in Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha (PSTW) Unit Abiyoso Yogyakarta, at year 2011. Abstract

Background: Breastfeeding in Indonesia has not fully implemented. Efforts to increase breastfeeding behavior in women who have exclusively breastfed infants in particular is still considered insufficient. The main problem is the socio-cultural factors, awareness of the importance of breastfeeding, health services and health workers who have not fully support the PP-ASI, vigorous promotion of formula milk and the mother worked. Knowledge mother became one of the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding. Phenomenon that occurs in the region of Central Cilacap district, was found in mothers who have not given exclusively breastfed their babies and mothers still do not know the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding.Method: This was rurvey research using descriptive method. Data collection was spread out questionnaires, then the data obtained are processed statistically by descriptive analysis and presented in tabular form the frequency distribution. The number of respondents as many as 80 people.Result: The results showed that respondents who had a level of knowledge of both exclusive breastfeeding as much as 78%, the level of knowledge was 19%, and who have less knowledge level of 3%. White exclusive breasfeeding in the health center of Central Cilacap 60% and 40% of respondents did not give their babies breast milk exclusively.Conclusion: Women who have knowledge of both exclusive breastfeeding is not always given exclusively breasfed their babies, because there are many other factors that influence exclucive breasfeeding.   Keywords : The knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

Background : Based on rank human development index (HDI), Indonesia is on order 109 of state, 174 far below the other asean countries. Factors dominated HDI developed by united nations development program (UNDP) is education, health, and economics. The third factor is very close to nutrition status of society. Based on the research basic health 2010, prevalence toddlers undernourishment ( weight less ) by 18.0 percents 4.9 percent with malnutrition and prevalence toddlers bony ( wasting ) is 13.3 percent. Riskesdas 2010 described inhabitant of consuming food under 70 % of figure adequate nutrition that is recommended 2004 as many as 40,6 percent this situation many units which on a school-age child ( 41.2 % ), adolescent ( 54.5 % ), and pregnant women ( 44.2 % ), this will affect nutrition status. Methods : This research was using crosssectional design. Results : Obtained the status malnutrition 14.5 %, normal nutrition status 82,6 % and nutrition status more 2.9 %. Relation nutrition status with the level of education mother p-value 0,471, relation nutrition status with income p value 0,136 . Conclusion : These were no relationship between nutrition status and the level of education mother, and no relationship between nutrition status with income.   Keyword: education, income, nutrition status

Abstract

Background:  Medicine arrangement in Hospital Pharmaceutical Installation included planning, procurement, distribution, and utilizing. Medicine storage indicator was : the suitability between goods and stock card, TOR (Turn Over Ratio), percentage of medicine which was expired and or damaged, storage room arrangement system, percentage of dead stock, and percentage of final stock value. Based on the result of work evaluation of Pharmaceutical Supply Inventory for tablet supply in Pharmaceutical Installation Storage Room at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital Unit I, it was found that unsuitability between goods quantity with stock card and computerization was as much as 15,38 %, TOR value was 29 times every year, final sock value was 6 %, medicine percentage was ED (expired date) 0,03 %. This data showed us that the suitability between goods and stock care, medicine ED percentage, TOR, and final stock value didn’t meet the hospital  target yet.Method: This research was a kind of qualitative description  with a draft as observational research. The subjects at this research were The Head of Pharmaceutical Installation, The Head of Pharmaceutical Installation Storage Room, officers of Pharmaceutical Installation Storage Room, and The Head of Maintenance Unit. The means of the research used observatory method and a deep interview. Data analysis was made in a way of qualitative description, and triangulation technique was done to guarantee data validity. Results: Based on the result of research by using observation and deep interview, we knew that medicine storage system in Pharmaceutical Installation Storage Room didn’t meet the standard because the medicine arrangement didn’t refer to therapy class/ medicine merit. The building and the rooms were suitable with the standard, but the equipments didn’t meet  the standard because there was no alarm, gram and milligram measurement, box opener, and maintenance card. Human resource was already suitable with the standard because there were Pharmacist and the assistant available.Conclusion: The factor of medicine and equipment stock room system was not suitable with the standard, but the factor of building, rooms and human resource in Pharmaceutical Installation Storage Room at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital Unit I were already suitable with the standard.Keywords: Medicine storage, Building and Rooms, Equipment, Human Resource.

Abstract

Absract Background: SP2TP is to meet the needs of administration at the higher level in order to develop, determine policies and utilized by health centers to improve efforts of health centers, through planning, mobilization, execution, monitoring, control and assessment. Based on the results of the initial survey SP2TP in Dompu has not been maximal. Therefore it is necessary to study the system of integrated recording and reporting of health centers (SP2TP) in the area of health services in Dompu Regency. Methods: This research is a qualitative descriptive located in all district health centers in Dompu Regency. Data was collected through interviews with the study subjects of ten people in the board of integrated recording and reporting system of health centers in each health center and health department. Results: The study results indicated that the reporting was still done manually; it still focused on disease patterns and the most 10 diseases. The submitted report was incomplete because there was no coordination, guiding book, difficult transportation, electrical disturb, Feedback was given orally. In terms of data quality SP2TP was still low. This was proven by the low completeness and timeliness for report delivery. While the use of data and information was still focused on the annual profiling. Conclusion: the difficult accessibility of health centers with the Health Service made report shipping incomplete and not timely. Keywords: System reporting, system recording, SP2TP

Abstract

Background: Service center medical skin is a new service PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta, the necessary research to find out the marketing strategy plan that will be used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta. The marketing strategies of medical skin care center that will be researched to see of the marketing mix, consisting of product, price, place, promotion, people, processes and Physical evidence, from the marketing mix in the analysis using the SWOT analysis to determine the right strategy. Method: The study was descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the Director of Medical Services, Marketing Manager, one Marketing staff, dermatologist and six patients. The instrument used a form of interview guidelines and the type of recorder. Data analysis Used SWOT analysis. Results: (1) Aspects of the product; Products used in cooperation with Ristra because Ristra is a product that has been certified legal, so safe to use MUI emergency. (2) Aspects of the price, price is still relatively cheap because they still get the discount. (3) Aspects of the place; PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta strategically located alongside the highway easily accessible by any transportation making it easier for patients to come to the skin medical center. (4) Promotion: Promotion is not maximized, not broad market area just around the DIY. (5) People; trained human resources, good, loyal and work according to the procedure, Consumers who feel happy and satisfied with the services provided at the medical center skin. (6) Physical evidence; facilities and infrastructure such as physical buildings, medical equipment provided by hospital and has been standard. (7) Process: The process of medical skin care center for treatment tailored to the criteria that will be used in patient care, marketing process of the skin as support medical center for promotional material. Conclusion: The PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta in cooperation with the product Ristra because. legal and safe to use, its strategic location but the parking lot should be disciplined, the promotion should be more leverage and targets a broader region, based on SWOT analysis the most appropriate strategy used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta is an aggressive strategy because it can be made in reference to using a strategy oriented to growth stage.Keywords: Skin Medical Center Services, Marketing Mix, SWOT analysis, Strategic Marketing
