Abstract

Value is a basic endorsement of attitude or a disposition that directs behavior: Value as a concrete consideration or existential also a preference that motivate indvidual behavior. This research aims to find out value orientation of unnes psychology department’s students. The research done in psychology state university o semarang with 156 students as the subjects, 44 males and 112 females. The data were taken incidentally. The research results show that there is no dominant value followed by the students of psychology department semarang state university. The highest orientation value if esthetical value, then religious value, theoretical value, social value, economical value, and the last is political value. There is no different economical value between male and female. There is no diferent esthetical value between male and female. There is no different social value between male and female. There is no different political value between male and female. There is different religious value between male and female.

Abstract

Background of this research was kindergarten teacher which in PBM (Learning Process Teachs) applies autoritary discipline though ought to a kindergarten teacher becomes fasilitator and having responsibility to create situation that can grow initiative, motivation and participant responsibility educates to learn. This research applies descriptive method Population in this rematch me kindergarten  students of PGRI 65, with subjects 40. Sampling technique applies technics of population study. Variable in this research is socialization kindergarten student. Data collecting method by using Observation check list socialization of kindergarten .students. With three observers; Based on result of inferential research that applying of autoritary discipline Iearned haves an in with sociaIization children of because children will become more agresive. Based on result of this research suggested to learn kindergarten sudent teaching not to apply applying of autoritary discipline and teacher earns more patiently in facing behavior of kindergarten students.

Abstract

Awareness to optimalization the skill of student, especiallv about right of student to get good services which they have high capability and intelligent, has been formed acceleration program. This research will investigate and be focus to the problem of identification, the factor that cause appearance many problem in student of acceleration class d SD Hj Isriati Semarang, included how that solution. The characteristic of this research is exploration with case study approach Result of this research showed many problems appear in the beginning of class, especiallv socio emotional problem, like variations emotional mature, emotional over excitabilities, more quite, dependent, difficuIt to make the decision less responsibility and less independently, always egoist and perfectionist. In the end of class appear academic problem like underachiever at Class VI. The other hand student of acceleration class have a positive character like more active, courageous and critical student, easy for acceptance the advice, high discipline, awareness and never doing the serious violation. The reason of socio emotional problem : young age people, over protective parents, over services, the parent wants to know all about their child business, determining the high standard score for their child. Underachiever causes by the change of learning system when the student was on Class VI, bored more claim and less commitment of task. Suggestions: to prepare the students for their socio emotionally development, like : confident, mature emotionally, independent, and task of commitment. The parents should be support and giving adequate assistance, giving good and harmonize parenting pattern at home with school’s parenting pattern. The parents should not give more claim about standard achievement for their child, but they must monitoring and giving motivation, sensitive with their child problem. If there was seen stress indication or bad behavior, as soon as possible to get consultation to the teacher or psychologist. For school and teacher have to monitoring the achievement development student of acceleration class and to created good teaching to increase the task commitment of student, so that can get the wonderful academic achievement.

Abstract

This research is in order to empiricaly testing about role of core evaluations against job satisfaction and psychological well-being. Core evaluations are individual dispotitions influence on the individual evaluate it self and environment. Core evaluations consist of five dimentions, locus of control, self-esteem, self-efficacy, neurotism, and edternal core evaluations, which be presumed contribute to the job satisfaction and psychological well-being. This research derivation is carry out by the using of scale in the form of questionnaire. Use 75 employess company in Jogjakarta as respondent, this research conclude that core evaluations leading role to job satisfaction amount of 15,7% and d3,3% to psychological well-being

Abstract

This survey investigated correlation between the perception of lecturer’s competency of developmental psychology subject and students’ learning motivation who attended in developmental psychology class in State University of Jakarta. This study involved 58 students as a sample. Both, data on perception lectures competency and learning motivation of developmental psychology subject were obtained through the use Likert alike questionaires. The overall process of data used SPSS v.12.00. The results indicates that there was a positive significant relationship between perception of lecturer’s competency of developmental psychology subject with learning motivation of students who attended in developmental psychology class in State University of Jakarta. It’s meant that when students perceived lecturer’s competency higher it will be followed by their learning motivation

Abstract

Bullying is a common issue in elementary and secondary schools, but it presents a serious threat to a healthy development during the school career. Bullying in school is a pervasive social problem in which children exploit power imbalances in order to dominate and harm others physically, socially, or emotionally. Individual characteristics in a certain developmental stage affect their behavior, so the goal of this study is trying to describe bullying among children in elementary school and adolescents in school contexts Our objectives were to compare bullying among children in elementary schools and adolescents in high schools for the following: frequency and type of bullying; the location where the bullying occurs; percentages of children and adolescents who identified as bullies, victims, and bystanders in bullying events; children and adolescents knowledge at bullying. The sample of this study were children in elementary school Grade VI and adolescents in high school Grade III by cluster random sampling technique. The instruments were two types of questionnaires; the one with pictures was for children and the one without pictures was for adolescents samples. The results of this study described children and adolescents bullying in schools for the following: 1) Physically bullying was the most type of bullying that occurred in children. Verbal bullying was the most type of bullying that occurred in adolescents. 2) The location where the bullying occurred the most was the classroom either in children or adolescents. 3) Students who identified as bullies were 8% of the children samples and 5% if the adolescents samples. There was no difference percentage of students who identified as victims, it was 3% of the children samples and also 3% of the the adolescents samples. Students who identified as bystanders were 24% of the children and 22% of the adolescents samples. 4) The category of knowledge level at bullying in children samples were 70% at average, 25% at low and 5% at high. The category of knowledge level at bullying in adolescents samples were 90% at average, 5% at low and 5% at high.

Abstract

The research focused on finding correlation between transformational leadership style and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). The subject were 100 employees of PD. Pasar Surya Surabaya. Data was collected by MLQ (Multifactor Leadership Questioner) and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) scale. Hypothesis is tested by product moment correlation technique. The result shown that there was a significant correlation between transformational leadership style and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) with rxy = 0,504, p < 0,001. TransformationaI leadership style has influencing 25,5% for organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). It means that 75% was influenced by others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the correlation between hardiness and religious with psychological well-being of the survivor of natural disaster at DIY. There are hypothesis of this study : 1- there are positive correlation between hardiness and religious with psychological well being of the survivor of natural disaster at DIY. 2- the are positive correlation between hardiness and psychological well-being of survivor of natural disaster at DIY. 3- there are positive ceorrelation between religious with psychological well-being of survivor of natural disaster at DIY. The subject of the research were 108 persons whom are being in Segoroyoso village, Pleret of Bantul. The survivor of natural disaster in Bantul include male an female, whom are about 25-65 years old and were Moslem. Every subject was given three scales ; the hardiness scale, religious scale, and psychological well being scale. This study use quantitative methode and regression analysis was used as a statistical data. The result show that : 1-there is a correlation and highly significant between harviness anv religious with psychological well-being of the survivor of natural disaster at Diy (r= 0,308 and p<0,001) and hardiness and religious contributes 9,5%. 2-there is a positive correlation and higly signifant between hardiness with psychological well-being (r=3,307 and p<0,01). 3-there is no correlation between religious with psychological well-being of survivor of natural disaster at DIY (r=0,09 and p<0,01). It turns out that the quantitative data analyzing enriched of this research. Trough the various description, it could be valuable contribution for the study of psychological well being of the survivor of natural disaster at DIY.

Abstract
