Abstract

Abstract    The analysis of movement on sport is very important to done by coach or biomechanics expert to improve the wrong movement. Need to remember that all human movement is always connected with physics principals, and so do with the movement of back kick on pencak silat. Up till now, practically on the field, many athletes that done this movement still imperfect from the biomechanics side. Therefore the problem formulation that proposed in this research is how is the body segment, the amount of forces, and the amount of energy of kick to achieve a fast and exact kick? This research is purposed to knowing the angle of body segments, the amount of force and the amount of kick energy in order to achieve a fast and exact kick that done at PUSLATDA, so that can give suggestions to improve wrong movement. The type of this research is descriptive analysis with analysis technique that applying biomechanics principals and the measurement using the assists of software dart fish. The result that obtained from five kicks on research subject, found the quickest and fastest kick is done at fifth kick with kick speed as big as 126.11 m/s, with time 0.018s, and the amount of force that created is 14.19 N, energy that needed is 278315.31 J, with body inclination angle 160.50, and the angle of kick inclination is 145.30.  Keywords: back kick, analysis.

Abstract

Abstract Using Muslim clothing for sports on women has been widely used. There is assumption that sports performance with covered Muslim clothing will reduce achievement and speed of fatigue. This research will prove whether such opinion is correct. At the beginning of this study, there are only two indicators studied were lactate and glucose blood. Girls group with open sportswear (K1) compared with the group closed clothes (Muslim clothing: K2) with n each group was 7 people. Both groups are measured lactate and blood glucose before and after exercise (immediately  after physical activity), with a sub maximal load for 5 minutes using Ergocycle. The results showed an increase in body temperature (C o) pre-post-K1: 0.9142 ± 0.260, K2: 1.7285 ± 0.636, a decrease of blood glucose (mg /dl) pre-post; K1 L 15.000 ± 9.933, K2 : 26.857 ± 21.248, an increase in blood lactate (m Mol / l) K1: 6.571 ± 2.537, K2: 6.357 ± 4.940 Changes in blood lactate for open sportswear group (K1) compared with group closed clothes (K2) there was no significant difference p: 0.460. Changes in blood glucose (K1) compared with K2 also no significant difference p: 0.108. Meanwhile, the increase in body temperature by wearing Muslim clothing after physical activity higher than regular sports clothes (p: 0.008). More closed sportswear can be recommended in sports that require a relatively short time.

Abstract

Abstract: Aldosterone, renin, angiotensin and ADH all increase substantially during exercise, because they are involved in the regulation and control of electrolytes, water metabolism, and fluid volume. The mehanism for the increased ADH and aldosterone hormone concentration with exercise are unknown but they are related to the increased osmotic activity of the blood that occurs as plasma volume is decreased during exercise.Vasopresin or ADH increased retention of water by kydneys during severe exercise, especially when the exerciser is dehydrated. Plasma aldosterone concentrations rise progresively during exercise of increasing intensity with peak aldosterone levels of up to 6 times the resting value having been reported. The mechanism underlying the aldosterone response to exercise apparently involves the renin-angiotensin system, because the concentrations of both renin and angiotensin also show substantial rises in plasma with exercise. Abstract

Body fluid losses during exercise can be very high, and if the fluid is not replaced quickly, dehydration will follow. This will have an adverse effect on athlete’s physical performance and health. Exercise will be much harder and suffer fatigue will be sooner. It is important to drink fluids to avoid dehydration, but over-drinking before and during exercise have a risk of water intoxication (hyponatraemia). Water is a good option before and during exercise but at a high intensity exercise for longer than one hour, there is benefit further from a sports drink.  They offer an advantage over plain water, to improve performance. This paper’s objectives are to analyze the science behind the formulation of sports drinks and as an information to consider the timing, condition, the amount and the types of fluid intake by athlete: before, during and after exercise. This information is expected to be beneficial for athletes to improve their performance.   Keywords: sports drinks, hyponatraemia, athlete’s performance, dehydration
