Abstract

Collaborative learning allows student’ interaction to the cognitive construction system. Social interaction in the learning system includes elements of the environment, technology, and learning methods that are implemented in the learning process. The aims of this study are: 1) to analyze correlation of collaborative learning and students' social interactions in teaching learning process and 2) to analyze whether there was bias publication or not in the meta-analysis of relevant research publications. The method used in this research is meta-analysis. The research was conducted by browsing the Scopus database on relevant research with the limitation of the keywords "collaborative learning" "social interaction" "correlation studies" for publication results between 2015-2022.  The data collected were 89 articles but the relevant ones were 12 articles with correlational studies. Data analysis used Effect Size test by JASP to answer the hypothesis about the relationship between collaborative learning and social interaction to determine whether there is bias publication. The results of analysis that used Random Effect model showed that there was a significant positive correlation between collaborative social learning and students' social interaction (z=3.379; p<0.005). The results of calculations regard to Rank Correlation showed that Kendall's value is 0.061 which showed the large correlation coefficient between effect size and variance where p-value of 0.841 is greater than the value of 0.05 which indicated that the publication sample data does not indicate bias publication. The results of this study indicate that collaborative learning in the direct social activities in the learning community. Abstract

It is crucial to employ contemporary pedagogical approaches in primary education to cultivate capable and skilled young individuals who are equipped to excel in competitive environments. Despite a significant amount of field research on the use of learning approaches in primary education, there is a lack of studies that consolidate the findings through bibliometric techniques. The main aim of this bibliometric investigation is to identify prevalent research patterns and evaluate Indonesia's scientific contributions to the study of learning approaches in primary education. The study employs bibliometric analysis, which includes four stages: initial search, application of inclusion and exclusion criteria, data extraction, and data cleaning. Data analysis is conducted using Publish or Perish, Ms. Excel, and Chat GPT. This research analyzed 549 papers published over 56 years, which gathered 4552 citations. The citation frequency peaked in 2008 with 690 citations. The 17 most influential authors came mainly from Indonesia and the United States. Most of the most-cited works were published more than ten years ago. The British Journal of Educational Psychology and Switzerland's Sustainability Journal lead in publishing educational research articles. Six out of the top 11 institutions in learning approaches research are Indonesian universities, showcasing Indonesia's dominance in the field. Surpassing other countries like the United States, Turkey, Spain, the UK, Australia, and China, Indonesia has achieved significant success.

Abstract

Parenting the Minangkabau tribe's children often involved conflicts with prolonged peers; egoism is still high; they are accustomed to discriminating against friends; and their lack of respect for friends indicates that they have low-quality interpersonal communication. Technological developments that should be avoided negatively influence the relationship between social interaction and the quality of the transmission of the alpha generation. Even though the children who have a Minangkabau ethnic background have been taught good manners, both in speaking and in acting, through the teaching of "Kato Nan Ampek," Therefore, the purpose of conducting research was to analyze parental care toward children in interpersonal communication in terms of Minangkabau culture. The research analysis uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The results of the study show that the parenting style in Minangkabau that teaches children good manners towards older people, the same person, younger people, and people who are visited has not been implemented. Minangkabau children have started to apply a way of speaking that shows language impoliteness. Minangkabau ethnic generation based on local wisdom in elementary schools. The results of the research show that there is a new theory, "Parenting of Kato nan Ampek" as a local wisdom developed in Minangkabau that has been able to form politeness in children's language since. Kato nan Ampek's parenting theory teaches that politeness can be applied in a local wisdom-based learning process that applies local cultural values in elementary schools. It is suggested that teachers can apply Kato nan Ampek's Parenting theory to teach and familiarize language politeness for elementary school children, especially teachers in West Sumatra.
