Abstract

Tata krama merupakan bagian dari keterampilan sosial yang mengajarkan sikap baik dalam pergaulan dari segi bahasa maupun tingkah laku. Tata krama perlu diperkenalkan pada anak autis agar mereka dapat membedakan perilaku baik dan perilaku yang kurang tepat untuk dilakukan. Orang tua memegang peranan penting dalam membimbing tata krama anak autis. Oleh karena itu diupayakan agar orang tua memahami cara untuk mendampingi dan membimbing tata krama anak autis. Salah satu cara yang efektif dalam pendampingan latihan tata krama anak autis adalah dengan pembelajaran observasional, di mana orang tua berperan sebagai model atau contoh yang akan ditiru oleh anak autis. Adapun tujuan dari latihan tata krama dengan pembelajaran observasional ini adalah agar anak berlatih tata krama dengan melihat orang tua sebagai model kemudian anak berlatih tata krama berdasar apa yang dilihatnya pada orang tua. Jadi orang tua memiliki peran ganda yaitu sebagai model dan pendamping latihan sehingga orang tua dapat memahami fungsi dari peran orang tua anak autis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan yang melibatkan semua pihak secara langsung dan dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pada semua pihak yang terlibat. The achievement of parents comprehension in guiding autism children manners AbstractManners are parts of social skills that teach good attitude in association in terms of language and behaviour. Manners need to be introduced to autistic children so that they can distinguish between good behaviour and inappropriate behaviour to do. Parents play an important role in guiding the manners of autistic children. Therefore efforts are made so that parents understand how to assist and guide the behaviour of autistic children. One effective way of mentoring autism practices for children with autism is observational learning, where parents act as models or examples that will be imitated by autistic children. The aim of this observational learning is that children can practice manners by seeing their parents as models and at the end, they can apply what they see from their parents. Therefore, parents have two roles, that are as a model and a training companion so that parents can understand the role function of parents of children with autism. The method used in this research is action research that involves all parties directly and intended to improve the skills of all parties involved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the stability of motor skills between five-to-six-year old and six-to-seven-year old obese children. A total of 30 obese children were involved as the participants including 15 children aged 5-6 years old and 15 children aged 6-7 years old. Paediatric Balance Scale (PBS) was used to measure the stability motor performance of all participants. The method of data analysis was by means of independent sample T-test with a P-value of 0.05 as the criterion for all statistical significance. The findings of this study revealed that there is a significant difference in stability motor skills in the parameter walking in a bearn, standing with one foot, and axial movement between five-to-six-year old and six-to-seven-year old obese children. Obese children aged 6-7 years old performed better stability motor skills compared to those aged 5-6 years old.

Abstract

This study aimed at analyzing the implementation of Thematic Community Service Program (KKN)-based basic literacy education of IKIP Mataram in the Central Lombok District which included registration, debriefing, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and identification of the obstacles to implementation in the field. The research method used in this research was a descriptive method by combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subjects of this study were the Chairperson of Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) IKIP Mataram, the Organizing Committee, Community Service Students, Field Counseling Lecturers, Village Heads, and Literacy Education Students. Data collection instruments used were questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation guidelines. The data analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that; (1) the implementation of basic literacy education based Thematic Community Service (KKN) Program at IKIP Mataram has been carried out through the stages of registration, debriefing, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation; (2) The results of the evaluation of the implementation of Basic Literacy Education learning have succeeded in teaching 802 illiterate people in Central Lombok district with data on the results of the basic literacy tests that have been carried out as many as 552 people have learned and declared passed and as many as 250 people declared not passed or do not yet meet the Minimum Completeness Criterion (KKM) of Basic Literacy Assessment; and (3) The main obstacle of the implementation of the Thematic KKN program is the earthquake disaster that struck the island of Lombok and has implications on the minimum residents basic literacy learning implementation in the field. However, Community Service (KKN) students with DPL assistance, the Village Head, and the LPPM Team have made an optimal effort so that the implementation of the Thematic KKN can continue to run in the community.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan minat berwirausaha remaja pesantren melalui pemberdayaan dengan biopreunership. Biorpreneurship merupakan suatu pendekatan pemberdayaan yang memadukan anatara konsep-konsep biologi dengan kewirausahaan. Pesantren harus membekali santrinya dengan kemampuan entrepreneurship atau kewirausahan agar mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi kehidupan pasca mereka lulus dari pesantren. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan pelatihan membuat keterampilan dalam membuat produk dari bahan hayati atau produk bioteknologi, yaitu tempe dan nugget tempe yang diawali dari pembuatan tempe dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan nugget tempe dari tempe yang telah dibuat. Setelah kegiatan selesai dilakukan pendampingan termasuk evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis komparatif antara minat berwirausaha sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dengan Paired Samples Test di dapatkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0.008 < 0.05 (α = 5%). Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh kegiatan pemberdayaan dengan biopreneurship dalam meningkatkan minat wirausaha remaja pesantren. Empowerment of pesantren adolescents through biopreneurship making nugget tempe to use interest in enterprises AbstractThe purpose of this activity is to increase the interests of pesantren teenage entrepreneurship through empowerment with biopreunership. Biorpreneurship is an empowerment approach that combines biology concepts with entrepreneurship. Islamic boarding schools must equip their students with the ability of entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship to prepare them for life after they graduate from boarding schools. The method used in this activity is by training to make skills in making products from biological materials or biotechnology products, namely tempeh and tempeh nuggets that begin from making tempeh followed by making tempe nuggets from tempe made. After the activity is completed, there is assistance including the evaluation of activities. The results of this activity are based on the results of the comparative hypothesis test between the interests of entrepreneurship before and after the activity with the Paired Samples Test and the sig. (2-tailed) is 0.008 <0.05 (α = 5%). This shows that there is an influence of empowerment activities with biopreneurship in increasing the interests of pesantren teenage entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This article aimed to strengthen “Kaulinan Barudak Sunda” as a traditional game towards the community in an effort to improved cultural security in Jatinangor District. To achieved this goal, we provided an understanding of the importance of “Kaulinan Barudak” traditional games towards the community through Focus Group Discussion regarding the identification and formulation of activity objectives, socialization, mentoring and practised of Kaulinan Barudak Sunda for children, and evaluation of activities. The method of implementing this activity was Problem Based Learning by solving problems that occurred regarding the fading of knowledge and practised of Kaulinan Barudak Sunda among children, also carried out with the Community Based Research method by involving the community in compiling shared ideas as needed. Based on the resulted of data analysis, we concluded that there was an increase of 68.5% in the aspects of the participants' perceptions, attitudes, and actions regarding traditional games. Thus, this activity contributed to providing knowledge, attitudes, and actions of participants in supporting the strengthening of Kaulinan Barudak Sunda in the Jatinangor District. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan memberikan penguatan Kaulinan Barudak Sunda sebagai permainan tradisional terhadap masyarakat sehingga dapat meningkatkan keamanan kultural di Kecamatan Jatinangor. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, kami memberikan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya permainan tradisional Kaulinan Barudak Sunda terhadap masyarakat melalui kegiatan diskusi kelompok terfokus (Focuss Group Discussion) mengenai identifikasi dan perumusan tujuan kegiatan, sosialisasi kegiatan, pendampingan dan praktek beberapa bentuk Kaulinan Barudak Sunda kepada anak-anak, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah Problem Based Learning dengan memecahkan permasalahan yang terjadi mengenai lunturnya pengetahuan dan praktek Kaulinan Barudak Sunda di kalangan anak-anak, juga dilakukan dengan metode Community Based Research dengan melibatkan masyarakat dalam menyusun gagasan bersama yang diperlukan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, kami menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan sebesar 68,5% pada aspek persepsi, sikap dan tindakan peserta mengenai permainan tradisional. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi memberikan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan peserta di dalam mendukung penguatan Kaulinan Barudak Sunda sebagai permainan tradisional di Kecamatan Jatinangor.

Abstract

Perkembangan UKM saat ini mendapatkan perhatian yang besar baik dari pemerintah maupun masyarakat agar dapat berkembang lebih kompetitif bersama pelaku ekonomi lainnya. Bagian penting dari suatu ekosistem wirausaha adalah dalam membuka peluang memperluas jangkauan pemasaran produk-produk mereka, bahkan hingga ke luar negeri yaitu dengan unique selling proposition yang baik dan strategi penentuan harga jual yang kompetitif di pasaran. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Segara Jaya Bekasi Jawa Barat melalui metode wawancara, ceramah dan tatap muka serta diskusi. Pencapaian kegiatan ini adalah dihasilkannya peningkatan kompetensi para pedagang UKM dalam penentuan harga jual, memahami strategi dalam memasarkan produk, berkurangnya distribusi produk kepada para tengkulak, mampu membuat bentuk produk yang unik dan kompetitif di pasaran, mudah memiliki jaringan kerjasama. Saran agar pelatihan ini dapat berkesinambungan dengan periode yang lebih panjang dan materi yang lebih komprehensif. Community empowerment of SME in implementation of unique selling proposition and selling price determination strategies AbstractThe development of SME’s receives a great attention from both government and communities in order to develop competitively with other economic actors. An important part of entrepreneurial ecosystem is opening opportunities to expand the marketing of their products to go abroad with a good unique selling proposition and competitive pricing strategies. This community empowerment took place at Segara Jaya Village, Bekasi, West Java through interviews, lectures, face-to-face methods and discussions. The conclusions of this activities resulted an increase of the competence of SME traders in determining selling prices, understanding strategies in marketing products, reducing product distribution to middlemen, being able to create unique and competitive forms of products in the market, also easily having a network of cooperation. Suggestions that this training can be continued with a longer period and more comprehensive material.

Abstract

Pengelolaan aset desa memerlukan adanya pengendalian dari pihak internal yang meliputi karyawan dan pejabat desa. Sistem manual yang dilaksanakan selama ini dianggap kurang efisien, sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangan sistem informasi pengelolaan asset. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk merekam data, dan menampilkan informasi atau laporan aset desa secara elektronik berbasis komputer. Metode pengembangan sistem informasi pengelolan aset desa yang digunakan adalah System Developping Live Cycle (SDLC), dengan menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai tempat penyimpanan database. Hasil yang dapat diperoleh berupa sistem pengelolaan aset desa yang dirancang untuk memudahkan permasalahan administrasi umum dan memiliki fitur untuk menyajikan pelaporan, memudahkan kodefikasi aset, dan pengelolaan aset yang akurat sesuai Peraturan Mentri dalam Negeri. Pengujian sistem pengelolaan aset menggunakan Blackbox dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, sistem dapat diterima kelayakanya dan sudah berfungsi dengan baik di Desa Pringanom, sesuai dengan pengujian Blackbox yang valid dan pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) dengan skor 88. Web-based information system for village asset management AbstractVillage asset management requires internal control which includes employees and village officials. The manual system that has been implemented so far is considered to be less efficient, so it requires the development of an asset management information system. This research aims to record data, and display information or reports on village assets electronically on a computer-based basis. The method of developing an information system for managing village assets used is the System Developing Live Cycle (SDLC), using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database repository. The results can be obtained in the form of a village asset management system that is designed to facilitate general administrative problems and has features for reporting, facilitating asset coding, and accurate asset management according to the Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation. Asset management system testing uses Blackbox and System Usability Scale (SUS). The conclusion of this study, the system is acceptable and has been functioning well in Pringanom Village, according to a valid Blackbox test and a System Usability Scale (SUS) test with a score of 88.

Abstract

Drawing is a medium of expression and a part of children’s creative and imaginative process.  Children can create, share ideas, visualize and realize their imagination through drawing. Drawing with crayons is familiar to children but this does not apply to the children of age between 5 – 12 years old who live in Karawaci district, Indonesia. These children did not have the opportunity to learn additional skills through informal education due to their families’ financial constraint. The purpose of this activity is to provide training in the right drawing methods and to train children to be creative in dealing with the limitations of the financial conditions. A qualitative method with a case study approach is used to achieve the objectives and determine the answers to the problems encountered in this research. Out of the five methods introduced, the blocking and mixing methods were the most preferred techniques by the children because it was easy to use and produced drawing with bright colours which represent their expression and imagination.

Abstract

Munculnya keraguan dari masyarakat dalam mengelola bank sampah di Desa Sumbersari, Kecamatan Ciparay, Kabupaten Bandung sejauh ini dikarenakan masih terbatasnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman pengelolaan bank sampah secara umum. Informasi pengolahan sampah masih belum dianggap sebagai “sahabat” dalam menjaga kebersihan, lebih bermanfaat dan memiliki dampak ekonomi bagi hidup masyarakat. Salah satu alternatif dalam mendukung program penguatan bank sampah melalui peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman serta dukungan keterampilan di bidang komunikasi pemasaran. Bagi pengelola bank sampah, kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi pemasaran dalam upaya lebih kreatif menyampaikan manfaat bank sampah dan prospek pemasaran sampah. Metoda pelaksanaan dalam mewujudkan program peningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelola bank sampah melalui metode penyuluhan terintegrasi dan pelatihan secara sistematis. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan pengelola semakin memahami dan terampil dalam menerapkan praktik komunikasi pemasaran bank sampah kepada calon nasabah. Pengelola bank sampah lebih percaya diri dalam mengemban program kebersihan dan manfaat sampah ini, sehingga harapan masyarakat yang “bersahabat” dengan sampah dan kepedulian terhadap desa berbasis ecovillage dapat terwujud. Improvement of knowledge and skill of waste bank officers through marketing communication smart systems AbstractThe emergence of doubts from the community in managing the waste bank in Sumbersari Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency so far is due to the limited knowledge and understanding of waste bank management in general. Information about waste management is not yet considered as a "friend" in maintaining cleanliness, is more useful and has an economic impact on people's lives. One alternative is to support the garbage bank strengthening program through increased knowledge, understanding and skills support in the field of marketing communication. For officers, this activity can improve marketing communication skills in a more creative effort to convey the benefits of waste banks and the prospects for waste marketing. Implementation method in realizing the program to improve the knowledge and skills of waste bank officers through integrated counselling methods and systematic training. The results of the dedication show that officers are increasingly understanding and skilled in applying the practice of marketing communications of the waste bank to prospective customers. The officers are more confident in carrying out the cleanliness program and the benefits of this waste so that the hope of people who are "friendly" to waste and concern for the village based on ecovillage can be realized.
